Personality: He's a mercurial, flashy, and energetic individual on the surface. He has a contradictory favor towards dark colors when it comes to fashion. On the inside he is burdened with guilt for a crime he doesn't know he didn't commit. From that guilt comes a need to repent to at least save as many lives as he took on that day he can't remember. When he does this he feels he may finally be free and fears dying without repenting for his sins. However because of his persona not many would be able to tell his hero complex is his treatment for his guilt. Protecting, helping, and saving it all eases the pain and guilt of his sins.
After discovering the truth of his existence he no longer feels the weight of his sins that were never his to begin with. But he still feels driven to protect and save mortals preventing more disaster like what happened to his home from occurring.
History: He doesn't actually know what he is despite knowing what he can do. He was born of a small mortal society that destroyed by a predator possibly an immortal that destroyed all of the nation's shelters and assets. All he knows is that he came to in the ruins of destroyed sciety with power. The conclusion he came to is that he must have destroyed it with his power and that for some reason he just can't remember that he did destroy it. For him ignorance of one's crime doesn't excuse it, this was grave sin he believes he comitted. The guilt of this crime was all too real, convincing himself that inside he knows he did this. With a guilty conscience he made a promise to attone for his sin by saving just as many lives as he had taken. So he has turned his head towards Sol with intention to undertake the "Pilgramage" for several reasons to further his quest for repentance.
After discovering the truth of his existence, Raikou learned he was born of a civilization advanced humans who specialized in advanced research into the propeties and uses of electricity and electromagnetism. They were brilliant scientists well versed in the properties of electricity. One day a Titan discovered the civilization and he wanted the mortals to join his fusion. But the civilization refused and therefore the titan had destroyed it. After finding this out through finally unraveling the mystery of his existence he took on a new name no longer being known as Raiden Ryuushintei but as Raikou Kaminari. Raikou to symbolize his awakening to his true self and Kaminari in honor of the society he was born from which is called Kaminari.
