Apparently his father and mother made a pact that essentially meant his father should never see Rüdiger for some reason, and this has held true to this day. For this reason, Rüdiiger resents his father greatly. He blames his father mostly for his mental state, citing that if he hadn't gone, he might have lived a normal life instead of living with an antisocial woman who never goes outside and never pushes him to go outside either, essentially living in a kind of ignorant isolation.
Tuesday (2nd Cousin) - Does not live with Rüdiger but wants to visit him, worried about Rüdiger's mental state. Tuesday calls him "Candy", and hearing the nickname gives Rüdiger feelings of humiliation and also comfort. Rüdiger does not hate Tuesday, and they used to laugh together, before Rüdiger's state declined. He occasionally thinks about Tuesday.

The most memorable pointers are his killing of a lost cat with his bare hands and leaving the body beneath the 'Lost Cat' sign put up for it, and murdering a hamster Tuesday got him with a sock and a kitchen surface. He has not told Tuesday this of course, only blamed his mother for its escape. Tuesday also noted that Rüdiger seems to be highly intelligent and logical, despite him being absent for the vast majority of his school years, and has manipulated those he knows multiple times for his own gain.
Schizophrenic - At the age of 18 - 3 years after he met Tuesday - Rüdiger developed Schizophrenia. While it originally scared him, he manages to avoid certain contexts that might make his life hell. For example, he finds it almost impossible to hone in on one speaking voice in a room full of conversations, and being unable to do so can overwhelm him. He suffers from the more usual symptoms, aural and visual hallucinations. He sees what he calls the Shadow (friendly, he will speak with it frequently if it's around), the Dart (mostly irritating but unthreatening) and the Sitter (extremely threatening, Rüdiger will physically run from it). The Shadow is essentially a dark shape that seems to have returning features such as a hunched back and protruding spine, two white eyes and a white grinning mouth. The Dart is difficult to look at but he'd compare it to a swallow. The Sitter is the most detailed. It looks like a giant foetus with the face of an old man, and it sits in the corner of a room and gets bigger if he looks at it. Aurally, he hears a voice very similar to Tuesday's natural falsetto, though a little lower in pitch. He will lie that he's heard voices telling him to do other things, such as kill the damn cat, but this is untrue. He also likes things in odd numbers and will go out of his way to destroy something if it makes the group of things even.

CLARIFICATION: Rüdiger has ginger hair cut close on the left side, grown out a little on right. He has had a full beard since age 14 and usually keeps it quite neat, though recently he hasn't bothered. His eyes are of a turquoise and he usually wears dark eyeliner or, in some cases, eyeshadow. He is 6'3" and, although broad, is slim for his height. Most of his apparel is white as it is his favourite colour. All other colours are, to him, stains.

[personality] Rüdiger is narcissistic, fully believing that he is better than everyone else in the world. Oddly, his knowing he has schizophrenia only extenuates this feeling, seeing it as an elevated state of being. He is not as antisocial as his mother, though can become anxious in social situations. If this happens, the tics he has happen more often - he rubs his hands together and hisses inwardly in through his teeth. As he has practically no education, he is not intelligent as any standard test will tell you. But his abilities to see through things and, somehow, just the way he exists, point to him being intelligent. He knows a lot of more practical skills, and spent some of his time before he arrived at Blackwell on the deep web, and never got in trouble because of his excursions there. Most memorable experience was when he worked out the best place to have cocaine and weed sent to that wouldn't be his home address. He was working on procuring a gun, a .44 magnum, just to prove to himself he could, but never finished that particular project. He is an extremely visual person, and has a talent for art. He used to be good at portraiture, and still is to some extent, but instead of painting the usual schtick with watercolours, oils (his favourite medium), ink or spray paint, he has begun to become more involved in both drawing and painting more twisted things, and impossible creatures.
[profile] There isn't much to tell. Rüdiger got into art because it was practically the only pasttime in the house. His mother never had anyone over or introduced Rüdiger to anyone, and she didn't seem to care when he didn't go to school so, the more he got into painting the more time he spent on it. By 15 he was fully able to sell his work and did sell the ones he didn't care about through Tuesday, who, obviously, did go out in public. Over the years, he started wanting to become the best artist in the world. Blackwood has probably put a stop to that. As such, now he's here, he's only been able to sketch and do graphite work, until nurses find it and confiscate it. Oddly, he's not furious about this.
