What is the Quirkverse?
For those of you unaware, The Quirkverse is a large scale MHA rp community with an active discord community and 4 different RPN roleplays, and one discord, under it's belt, and one Discord RP. The idea of the Quirkverse is for members to have a fun, active experience roleplaying as their own characters in the MHA world. Recently the Quirkverse has had a change in management, me, with our previous leader and creator stepping down, along with losing a handful of our most active players. It was a heavy blow to say the least, but not to worry! The Quirkverse is in the process of starting back up as I type! And we want you to join our fun 'little' community!!
Queens Hero High (QHH)
Queens Hero High, a quirk school set in Brooklyn, NY that's amongst the most prestigious in the country and the whole world. QHH, as it's usually called, counts with extensive facilities, a large pool of students, complete staff and a threatening rogues gallery. You have your character join as a transfer student and learn the ropes from our returning characters and players as they work hard into shaping themselves up as heroes. As you go along, however, you may realize that there's a lot more to this prestigious school than meets the eye. There are quite a lot of secrets hidden in the school's past, and as a student you'll be provided with player-specific clues that can be exchanged and discussed with other players to piece together the complete story.
New York Academy for Heroes! (NYAH) (Discord)
The New York Academy for Heroes is a newer school that only started up this year, but proclaims it is the greatest hero school and wishes to rival QHH, the most prestigious school in the country. It may be a small school, but it is not to be taken lightly! With its ever growing pool of students and it's complete set of staff, it's the perfect place for any new student who wants to climb the ranks! You can have your character join as a transfer student or maybe they were sick for the first few days! and join in with our new and returning characters to learn the ropes of hero-dom, and take your first big hero test of the year! As the year goes on it might feel as if there is something fishy going on in this city. Work with your fellow classmates to find out what is going on with every clue and villain you are provided to find the truth! This rp will be located on out discord and will be a bit more laid back compared to our RPN roleplays, but don't let that fool you! there is much more to discover in this hero school!
Angelwood Academy (AA)
The Angelwood Academy is known as the most prestigious hero school in Japan! Located in the heart of Osaka, it's hard to miss! AA, as it's normally called, has many extensive faculties both on grounds and off! with it's large student community and its fantastic set of staff members, they have a full house! New characters may appear in the joint A & B classroom, likely late for their first day of school after having passed their entrance exams! Become best hero you can possibly be with your fellow classmates, returning and new! As villains come after your students, piece together the puzzles behind the strange villains and patterns behind them! There is something your nor being told, and it might be the most important clue yet,
Willow Creek Academy (WCA)
The Willow Creek Academy is known as the literal worst hero school ever. The school has often compared to: "if Shitty, and Horrible every had a child, and it got ran over three times, survives, and was then attacked by a bird. That is what WCA is." It is located at the edge of Osaka, Japan, and is so cheap, your newborn could afford it. If your an aspiring hero: Don't go here. Seriously. You won't even become a sidekick. Or at least that's what everyone says. Sure, some hero applicants will apply, having no other choice in the matter, whether it be they are very poor, or- well that's usually it. But this school has another name in the underworld. "Villain Academy." That's right. Under the guise of being a hero school, WCA is actually a school of training elite villains. With their extensive list of wanted staff members and likely the worst adults to ever meet child-care, it's certainly the perfect environment to become the greatest villains to ever live. Transfer in with your perfect little villains-to-be and learn the ropes of villainy, with every new diabolical plan. But watch out! Try not to get caught as the authorities begin to catch on, connecting the dots, and become the greatest villain ever! And destroy those wannabe-hero AA twerps!
Structure and administration:
This RP will be run by myself, Kimona, as it has always been. Along I'll be with a strong and active mod team. They have control over the RPs and will be always on the ready to help you join our community and help you with whatever issues or questions you have.
While the entirety of this RPs will be written on RPNation(and Discord), we strongly encourage you to join our community on Discord; through there you can get to meet the other players, talk characters, plans and events or just hang out and talk.
The RP will feature 4 main threads. However, the stories of all schools will interlock all the time, in which case we'll narrow down the action to a single thread. You can make more than one character and even participate on both threads if you want; in fact, many of us do that here.
As for overall rules of the RP, they are as follows:
- Any active player may introduce ideas, lore and plot, but please state your intent and basic idea here at least 12 hours earlier so people may discuss it.
- NPC's can be designed by anyone, even if you aren't currently playing. I'll pick the most suitable ones and fill up the rest of the spots if needed. Any player may put in and control said NPCs, but please be reasonable; if said NPC is a teacher, don't make him or her skip class to go on a date with your character, for example.
- This should go without saying, but all threads and Discord will abide to the common RPNation rules, so no erotic stuff, no godmode, be nice to people when OOC, etc.
- The time limit for posting when it is your turn is 9 days, but let's try to keep it well under that. If you exceed this time without warning, your character will become a NPC until you show up again.
- Our golden rule of character creation is: never create a character in the same rp that can do everything else another character can do and then some. The only exception to this rule is the owner of the lesser character expressly agrees with this situation.
- Lastly, you are free to question or suggest any rules for the RP, either here or by PM. if the majority agrees with your idea, I'll have no problem changing it up.
Perks bonuses of joining the RP:
Being part of an ever-growing BNHA universe, these hero schools are not alone in their journey to shape the young in a world overtaken by quirks, superheroes and villains. By taking part in this RP, you'll be treated every now and then with crossover with other Boku no Hero-themed RPs, Such crossovers will both be handled on our main threads as well, with all the players sharing the same Discord server so we can plan and interact whenever.
In total, we are talking about 5 different schools and a myriad of students in each. Are you ready to prove that your school is the best?
