Mila is a very kind and outgoing girl. She likes to have fun and party like any other young adult or college student. She doesn't let the thrill of danger stop her from enjoying her life. Taking any and every opportunity, Mila is never one to have regrets. She's self-assured and confident in her actions and her words, even if she does often act or speak before thinking. Loyal to her friends, she'd drop whatever she's doing the moment her friends needed her for something.

Mila is often described among her friends as the mother of the group of friends she belongs to. Despite Mila's rather reckless nature, she's much more careful than the rest of her friends. Mila knows her limits, and will not go beyond them... at least, won't go beyond them without a strong drink or too in hand. Like everyone else, Mila has her own breaking points, and while those breaking points might be far off, Mila has a fierce temper when forced passed them. She'll even engage in physical violence if it means adhering others to her own sense of justice.

BIOGRAPHY
Mila was born to a single mother, who worked a desk job without a college degree. The two of them barely scraped by sometimes, but regardless, Mila managed to have a somewhat normal childhood, if only a little delayed in the physical items due to how tight money was growing up. Entering high school, Mila took the four years as a means of branching out of her comfort zone. She moved from group to group, before landing in with the party animals of her school. She tried some drugs, and certainly got drunk more than she should have while still a minor. In the end, the group decided to all go to the same college so they could party together.

Mila had been holding down a job since the age of 16, saving up for her college as well as putting spending money in her pockets. Of course, this was all after she gave some to her mom to help with bills and other financial needs. However, when she got to college, Mila had a hard time looking for a job. Her partying habits got the better of her, and she spent more time playing beer pong than she did hitting the books. It showed in her performance, as her grades slowly tanked and she would often be asked to leave a lecture for showing up drunk. One too many mistakes landed her in the bed of her best friend one morning, about a month before the infection hit.

Nate is blunt and unapologetic. He tends to say whatever is on his mind without thinking of the consequences. His childhood with his father led him to become this way. He cares little about other people's emotions and usually is unable to read them. He's a man who likes to spend time alone and doesn't enjoy the crowds. Despite this, he can still hold a conversation. He'll talk to people, but it won't be the most inviting conversation. He insults people without noticing, drawing their attention to their flaws. He likes to verbally correct grammar as well. English has been his favorite topic since he could talk, and he makes full usage of it. Most people assume he wouldn't speak well because of his troubled history.

Other than that, Nate is self serving. He does everything to benefit himself, and himself only. If he saved someone, it is because he knows his survival was interlocked with theirs. Nate will never give into heroism or try and serve vigilante's justice. He's a laid back guy with only one goal, survival. He cares little about his allies or enemies. Nate is also great at tactile skills. Given his rough background, he has learned how to pick locks and is pretty good at spraying graffiti. He likes to mark places he's been with his own symbol. This mural comes from how he felt about the location in its entirety. Spray painting is his best cooping method. For this reason, every wall in his small apartment is filled with vibrant colors and abstract images.

Audrey earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and Physics before being recruited by the Marine Corps right out of school. She enlisted, was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times over a period of four years. After her contract with the USMC expired, she searched for more work in a high-energy field. She put her degree to use in the Drug Enforcement Administration, as a forensic chemist before being offered a position as a special agent, due to her military background.

Jacob is a down to earth guy who loves life more than anything else. He doesn't like to dwell on the worst things that are going on around him, but try on focus on the best that is going on. Optimism is his best strength that he has and doesn't often let anything else disrupt that either. Joining in with t, he is a rather focused individual, he enjoys looking into a project and putting a full amount of effort into it. Whether it takes him two hours, two days, two months or even two years. He'll continue to push through until he see's the result he wants.

In the way of Jacobs 'love' personality, he isn't great. Flirting is not his strong suit and he doesn't intend for it to be either. He tries his best to impress, but he won't go out of his way to prove so. If anything he can come across rude in a way, unknowing whether the attention is on him or not, he can ignore signs and conversations when it comes to subjects such as that. But rude and anger are two different things, his anger has only ever a few times gone out control, although rare, it can be a scary occasion.

BIOGRAPHY
An a-typical backstreet boy, Jacob grew up in the alleys of the city. He was someone who was loyal to those he had a close relationship to and rarely received a knife in the back for it. Yet when his best friend was murdered at the age of fourteen, he soon realized that snakes lay among the rat just a much as anything else. A bad start to his child hood made no difference, however, he knew that bad thing happened, and most of the time they happened to bad people. He began studying harder in school to receive his grades to move onto something higher.

His new life soon started when he went to college to study engineering, it was something he enjoyed, something he wanted to do well in and something he was proud to be doing. It didn't take him long to reach the top of his class and soon graduated with full merit and recommendation. His job soon followed once his father helped him into the business after his schooling.

Daniel usually comes with a comforting smile. While he himself is awkward at socializing, his smiling helps him talk to other people, especially strangers. In other words, Daniel often wears this smile to hide his real intentions whenever he finds necessary. Daniel is kind to people he meet, listening to their words as much as he can and helping them. While Daniel tries to keep a kind attitude against others, but may get hostile if they show a rude attitude or lack manners.

Daniel is not a good talker when it comes to his past, and tries to evade talking about it, no matter what the question is about, be it his military experience or his diner server experience.

Daniel usually talks in a playful manner with light jokes sometimes in his words. This characteristic most of the times extends to the usage of sarcasm against the person he is talking to, especially when the person has done enough to anger him. He hardly swears, and chooses to 'creatively insult' instead.

BIOGRAPHY
Daniel lived a quite ordinary life until high school. He wasn't bullied, did not cause any problems, and enjoyed his peaceful life. He graduated all schools with a decent grade, and everyone expected him to go to college and have a decent job. However, unlike everyone's expectations, Daniel joined the military five months after graduating high school, which he spent 'thinking of his future'. For a long time period, Daniel served in the military, and returned home.

After he returned from the military, he spent the rest of his life helping his brother, who had a small diner open at New Ruark. The diner lasted quite long, and gained quite a reputation. Eventually Daniel moved out of his brother's house into a small home in the suburban area. He continued the diner job while writing short stories as a hobby while at home. He saved a decent amount of money, with great hobbies expected to enjoy for the rest of his life when he got too old to work.

Often quiet but not shy, often silent but not speechless; Nya could be considered a selfish being who only allows herself to be as moral as the circumstances let her. She is first and foremost only loyal to herself.

She is very thoughtful and can often be seen brooding all by herself. When she does end up with others, she often keeps her voice down, choosing to observe rather than to engage. Deep down she does appreciate the presence of other human beings but doesn't outwardly show it so.

Her ideology of observing and not engaging has carried on to many of her other habits and only recently has she excelled at actually, well, doing things. Big or small.

Due to all that she's gone through growing up, Nya became a very versatile individual, successfully adapting to any environment and or situation that the times demanded of her without much struggle if any. She can be found in a constant status quo with herself for the same reason despite whatever occurs.

BIOGRAPHY
Nya was born into a lower-middle class family on the brink of losing their only home due to their own little debt crisis. Her father and mother, unable to find jobs that paid high enough for them to be able to support themselves, turned to crime, and despite finding some initial success were soon arrested. Nya was only 8 at the time and spent the rest of his childhood in an orphanage. As she grew, she kept the image of her parents alive and fresh within her mind, learning from what happened to them, and never forgetting how much affection they bore towards their only child. As Nya hit high school, she got along quite well with people but were often discredited for being way too serious at times when such wasn't deemed necessary. Somewhere along the road, Nya picked up the habit of writing her thoughts out due to nobody really willing to be all ears in front of her. This hobby quickly turned into something more. She made one of her close friends read some of her scribbles, and afterward some people whom she appreciated less. After receiving an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, she went on to write an entire book about the way in which America dealt with crime and titled it "Misdeeds of the Misfortunate." She achieved immeasurable success with it and was offered scholarships left and right.

After leaving high school for a higher level of education, Nya already had a strong number of followings willing to support her in order for her to keep pumping out more books; which she did. As she was lectured and learned, she translated her thoughts and new ideas into scribbles, and eventually full out books, which saw limited success relative to her first big hit but were enough to keep her on her feet.

Ren is a rather calm individual who would rather walk away from a debacle than stir anymore violence. He tends to have a loose tongue when it comes to his thoughts, unless they're concerning important matters that he'd rather not share in respect to the opposite party. It's almost rare for him to speak much though as he's often missing from the scene. Because he's such a lazy person at heart, he can be found napping in the oddest places one could think of. Switching from his lazy mode to one of seriousness and purpose is quite easy when there's an actual emergency, however.

Not only is Ren passionate and have a sense of duty towards his work, he has a strong belief in treating everyone equally. His job is to serve the people, regardless of their standing. Even if someone were to try and avoid his observations and treatment, he'd forcibly sit that person down and let out a bit of his inner demon. When the serious side of him is out, however, he can truly be a bossy and patronizing person. He won't take "no" for an answer if it doesn't benefit either party and many people will go as far as to describe him as frightening. That being said, his ability to work effectively and diligently means he's not in his serious mode for too long.

Ren Himura was born in Kyoto, Japan to parents whom were both half-Japanese and half-German American. The family of three moved to the States in order to escape suffocating traditions of Japan when Ren was merely eight years old, especially with the young boy showing signs of advanced intelligence. At the time of moving, Daniela was pregnant with twins who were both born a few months after settling in. With the addition of Daniel and Danielle, the family of three became a family a five with Ren being a happy old brother.

Things were peaceful until Ren entered college at fifteen and immediately entered the spotlight. His parents were struggling with the family income, the twins entering the rebellious phase and not caring about consequences, so they used their eldest son's position as an anchor. Not only did Ren become the child genius of the campus, but he also became an item in the eyes of his mother and father. He wanted desperately to escape their poisonous minds but there was not much he could do with his younger siblings still so young. As soon as he graduated, however, he left for medical school because he was no longer able to tolerate the lies.

At the age of 23, Ren had graduated medical school with a perfect GPA and ranking. Multiple hospitals that were famous for their practice and physicians begged him to join them but Ren decided on a small town in Georgia to finish his residency. Five years later, he now resides in New Ruark with little to no contact with his family members.

Zevon is the type of guy that doesn't really have an opinion on many things. He tends to keep his mouth shut, preferring to stay in the background and be alone because he doesn't want to deal with crowds of people (also because he's secretly judging). Although he enjoys his solitude, he occasionally likes the company of people with a soft spot for women and children but he'd never admit either. The cheeky grin he might wear is usually directed towards them and at times there'll be a smirk when he finds something amusing. He might go as far as flirt with someone if it came down to it as the guy can be quite crude and perverse. A lot of his inappropriate thoughts tend to make their way into audible words because he can be rather blunt at times. Zevon enjoys teasing, light-hearted mocking, and the beautiful language of sarcasm.

With a nonchalant exterior, however, there's his temper that can be viewed through many of the cracks in his shell. It's quite easy to annoy the guy, whether someone says something disrespectful or he's asked or told to do something he'd rather not do. There's a reason for why he's a fighter and that's because of how aggressive he can be. The need to release his stress then and there is why he forces all his emotions into a fist, immediately letting out any bitter emotions and ridding of grudges.

His mother left right after birth, leaving the small newborn in the care of his lower class father. William Parks debated many times on whether or not he should give Zevon up for adoption, but at the end of the day he could not rid of the gift his first love gave him. It was almost a curse at the same time though because the family of two truly struggled to see the next day.

Born in the Bronx and constantly being made fun of for his mixed race and red-tinted hair, Zevon eventually learned how to defend himself. For a while, all he would do was fight wherever he went although most of his actions were justified. He hated that people looked down on his father because he knew William was one of the hardest working men alive, but what he hated more was the look of disappoint he'd receive every time he came home with a new bruise. By the time Zevon was 13, he'd been arrested 6 times for physical assault and was forced to switch schools twice. This was when he knew something had to be changed.

While searching for something to soothe his fiery persona, Zevon stumbled upon an old warehouse that was meant for training fighters. At first he was skeptical because a dusty warehouse didn't seem trustworthy, however, the elderly man that ran it proved wiser than his years and eventually earned the boy's ears.

It wasn't long after he began training that his father remarried as well. Of course, Zevon was unsure of the woman at first because of how protective he was of his father, but eventually she earned his trust just like the warehouse owner. A couple years later, he baby sister of 15 years was born and she became the light of his life.

After his 21th birthday, his father was involved in an accident that inevitably took his life while Zevon was away for a match. This grief struck him hard and he hated that he wasn't able to be there for his father. Even his step-mother felt bitterness towards her step-son, moving away with her daughter not long after.

Now Zevon is currently taking a break from his MMA career in Georgia, still maintaining contact with his only family in New York.

PERSONALITY
Kena is an all-around fun person to be with. From her younger days to her present, she was always told she was everyone's favorite. It could be that she was friendly with everyone and almost got along with them. She was considered popular, smart, pretty, basically perfect. She could steal hearts and break them and people wouldn't care. Girls wanted to be her, guys wanted to be with her. The greatest thing about all of it, it was all fake.

While Kena is pretty and smart, she knows how to make people see her the way she wants them to. In reality she can be quite an ass, sometimes on purpose, other times not so much. She's manipulative and sneaky, not always caring what her actions would do to people. It didn't affect her work at all, considering that's how she got her information from the bad guys.

BIOGRAPHY
Kena grew up with two of the worst types of parents a kid could have; psychiatrists. While her father was more of a behavioral psychiatrist, her mother focused more on family counseling. They critiqued her every move and taught her things that she shouldn't have learned until later. They taught her how to observe how people acted and determine why they acted that way. This in turn is the reason why she's so manipulative towards people. Even though her parents acted more like her own personal doctors than actual parents, they were good to her and she appreciated them. They appreciated the fact that they had a good daughter who didn't get into trouble and who was smart. Little did they know it was because she was manipulating everyone since she had parents who practically taught her how. However, they would never learn the sad truth about their daughter. When Kena was 16, her parents were killed in what was supposed as a hit and run. Because she was a smart girl and was able to sustain herself, she was granted emancipation and lived on her own. This made her even more popular since she threw parties every weekend. It was her way of grieving, not liking the house to be so quiet without her parents.

When she left for college, things were looking a bit better. She had people around her, filling the hole in her heart temporarily. Her plan was to major in psychology, minor in criminal justice, and join the FBI. A lot of people kept trying to tell her to either pick another field or to just give up on it because there was no money in her career choice. She deduced their reasoning down to them being jealous that she would even attempt it after they had failed. Years later, she was accepted in the FBI academy and passed through with flying colors. Her first assignment was to catch a serial killer, who's MO was the same as who ever had killed her parents. It took her a few months but when she finally caught him, instead of bringing him in she killed him and didn't even flinch. She convinced the other two agents to write it off as self-defense and so began her life as a dirty cop. Or it least, it would've been that way if it weren't for those damn zombies.

During her years as a mercenary, Mirova was very optimistic and encouraging of her work, believing that she would bring eventual happiness to the rest of the world. Despite her friendly attitude towards military officers, Mirova opposed war and avoided it as much as she possibly could, even temporarily disappearing from the world from time to time. She only accepted the offers of which she believed would do good in this world. But not all in this world was ever so friendly and good-willed. She had been tricked once and it damaged her trust in those who she looked at as her allies. It became a lot harder for her to get close to someone.


She retained most of her personality however, such as being charismatic and very carefree. Mirova deals with her inner conflicts very well by not questioning much, and instead just following her heart. She is very laid back and hopeless, but cooperates well with others. Mirova is kind-hearted and is very open about her feelings to everyone. She has developed something of a trickster side for personal reasons. Because of this she had been called insincere or even a liar before. She likes spaces like roofs, bridges, and places where there is a bit of height involved. Her favourite food is beef.



BIOGRAPHY

It all started when she graduated from high school. She didn’t have any particular job in mind but was truly interested in the well-being of the world. Her teachers had told her before to join one of those peace organizations but since they didn’t accomplish much except in longer periods of time, it wasn’t her cup of tea. Instead, she decided to join the military. She trained hard with other soldiers and got through the rough weeks in the beginning. It was not easy to get through it but she managed. She was one of the few soldiers that made it into a more active group. From there, she was send to a lot of destinations such as Irak, Afhanistan, several islands and who knew what more.


Yet there was this feeling inside of her, telling that it wasn’t good enough. She didn’t feel like getting into these pointless battles. In the end, nobody made a change. That was when she changed her course into a more dangerous path. She became a mercenary. She was only twenty-two back then, only a mere two years after getting into the military. It was a bit of searching here and there to see where she could be off help, but once she finished the jobs, she got more offers. Though it was up to her if she would accept or decline it. It earned quite some money so she didn’t have to worry about that. Though she made quite some enemies in the progress.


Days, months and years went by easily. Her name got quite big in the underworld but only her alias “Shadow”. It was a simple yet strong name she received by the people. However because her opinion about the world started to change, she wasn’t too sure anymore about wanting to save it. The people that she met lied, abused, were rude, and more. Most of the population wouldn’t even care about what would happen so why would she still care. She felt lost as her whole point of view was flipped around. Now the only thing she yearned for was freedom, something that she was sure of that existed.
