With the campfire having been started, Fenrir wasted no time in placing the kettle on top of the metallic trivet and letting the water boil with the leaves inside of it [Domestic Arts C]. As the water began to warm up, the Wolfman would finally take notice of Jastira. He would tilt his head slightly, looking at the Fae, blinking a few times as his muzzled nose started a very peculiar sniffarino, complete with ears standing at attention [Heightened Senses (Hearing/Smell/Touch/Sight) C].
"My deepest of apologies. It was certainly not my intention to make you feel ignored." He would give the Fae a short bow, offering no excuses as to why it happened [Etiquette C]. And then, trying to take a better gander at her current emotions [Insight C], his mind reeled back to what she had said previously. "Now, to your question, I do have this odd feeling that something out there is observing me sometimes. Never felt exactly as it wants to see me gone. It isn't easy the easiest thing to explain... but it would be akin to something evaluating everything that has happened. It feels more like an observer than anything else." His furred eyebrows furrowed, the very thought of it making the butler slightly unnerved.
"Why not tackle the story of someone who hasn't received any boon from the gods?" Fenrir offered, his attention shifting from time to time to the kettle, waiting for the perfect temperature. "The struggle of someone destined to fail, who is trampled upon at every corner by the gods themselves have an appeal. Everyone is a sucker for the underdog. Just be careful to what crowd you are hoping to present it, lest you end up being branded a heretic or a heathen." That was as much as he could help Jastira with.
Fenrir's attention would next focus towards the dog person, with a few too many arms. 'Curious...' He thought to himself, his stoic expression betraying nothing. "<Indeed, our lady had mentioned the illustrious merchant that would come to visit us.>" Working along with Teti against that sucker, he would give the beastkin a polite bow [Etiquette C]. "<Just as Teti said, why don't you relax after your long trip, sir? Enjoy some of madam's exquisite blends, while Teti works wonders on your shoulders. What do you say?>" The Wolfman offered, retrieving the kettle from the trivet. And then, sticking his right arm into the air, accessing his [Pocket Dimension D], he would retrieve an adorned cup and saucer of his [Luxury Tea Set F].
With a flourish, that was more dramatical than practical, he poured the Moonlit Yewleaf and Dawnthorn into the cup, letting the merchant's nose catch the rich fragrance of the tea. "<Would you like sugar or honey with it?>"
