He decided to go along with it for now, until he found out what was going on. Once he said that they were going to search the building, he debated telling them about the safeguard on all tech, whenever they left the building, they would initiate their self destruct sequence, and explode. He decided to leave it be. "Yeah, you know, Davoth, I appreciate the gesture of having me escorted, I really do, but I believe I'll be alright on my own" He told him. There was a sickening crash that came from out the sky and the ground, She could feel shaking. It had stopped, and she looked down at the child making sure she was okay.

The child had jumped, rather spooked by the loud sound, having curled into a tiny ball as she covered ears, as they were rather sensitive, and that sound had rather hurt her ears, she would be lucky if they honestly didn't damage her hearing. From her fright, what she had not eaten yet had been knocked to the floor, but could you blame her for being spooked.
