A new magical girl unit! Kaito was super excited to meet them, she'd already read over the files for the new ones (and knew the older ones), and they all seemed like....Well, not the most interesting group she'd seen, but they did look "Neat". The most interesting group would have to go to the one that had a chick who immediately blew a hole in their fucking wall because some bitch was doing something she didn't like, and Kaito really hoped that didn't happen this time. That was why she was in the room, though, wasn't it? To....Somehow stop any magical explosions? Honestly, she wasn't sure what they expected her to do if that did happen. Having somebody with more authority nearby didn't always stop people.

Ah, she was getting lost in thought. Hardly a surprise when she was sitting alone in a room, but "staring blankly at the table" probably wouldn't be a good first impression whenever somebody finally arrived. Still, it would've been better if Sharon was actually there to greet her new squad or Garnet actually knew how to arrive on time...No matter, she supposed. People would be getting here soon. To pass the time, Clara picked up one of the files in front of her, despite how she had already practically memorized the contents of the page.

Clara Lane, codename Faust. Her powers created gemstones, and she'd run a jewelry store before joining project Sailor, so she could only guess that she realized value in her powers. Some notes on how she fought, she seemed like the flexible type who could be frontline or support, but to be safe Kaito had put her in the back in the formations she'd drafted. The only thing really notable about her seemed to be how long she'd been in training, as the training program was supposed to be short due to the necessity for people to actually fight. Well, she was still one of the top graduates from her training camp, so her taking more time than most wasn't a big concern in Kaito's eyes.

Louise Song, codename Justice a peculiar case in that she'd already worked for the military once before but had resigned after she'd been taken out of active duty due to concerns for her mental wellbeing. After she'd resigned, she'd gone on to work for Osprey Security. Now, after the military had bought Osprey, she was once again working for the military. She was definitely a close quarters combatant. There were notes to keep an eye on her, but Kaito couldn't help but wonder how warranted that was. Maybe she'd get along with Sharon? She hoped so, the woman needed to talk to more people than Garnet.

...And speaking of Garnet, Johanna's powers always sounded like they'd be his nightmare at the end of the battles, if she had to repeatedly injure herself to use her blood as a weapon.

This was so fucking boring, Kaito didn't want to read these files yet again. She put the papers back down and opted instead to pull the plush keychain off of her phone and started to walk it across the table.

"Poosh~ Poosh~ Pusheen!"

She had already memorized the layout of the place however-

As she passed by guards and other magical girls, she simply ignored them , even when one of them looked like they wanted to talk to her. She had no time for such people, but she did file away some things for latter research. The place was filled with mysteries, and Awa would be the one to find them all. Several times, she was just standing in front of something, be it a window or a blank wall.

As she finally found the room, she reach her hand down, and opened the door. Her first impressions of the area was So, most of my "teammates" can't figure out where the room is? Expected. What are they doing??

As she opened the door, she stood in it for a few seconds, staring at the....... teddy bear plush? She didn't like it, whatever it was. It was undoubtedly fascinating however, and she resolved to look over it. Perhaps dissect it, if she got the chance. Walking quickly inwards acting as she hadn't been staring at at the plush, she merely sat down on the closest chair.

She didn't talk to the others in the room, but just merely stayed silent, looking over at them like one might look over a distant relative they had no idea about- curious, but wary.

Project Sailor, protecting Humanity from danger. Glory to Mankind.

How long had it been? Since the world's perception of what magic was had shifted dramatically? With those changes of perception, came the death of the peaceful times as they were, now, filled with the likes of monsters and other evils came razing everything, killing anything, and doing as it so desired. That, was where the Magical Girls and eventually, Project Sailor came in. Their duty was to protect people from the inherit dangers of the world, a Magical army of sorts, or, at the least, a Magical police force, with the sole designation to eliminate any threat that is deemed Magical in some way shape or form. There are, however, detractors of this idea. Those filled with vengeance against the project, and those whom participated in it, rather, they wish to see a world of magic, where the monsters are dealt with through the idea that, with numbers of Magical Boys and Girls, the monsters numbers would be culled, and peace would be commonplace once more.

An alarm rang, loud enough to wake it's owner, whom reached over to silence it. A gentle hand clasped the device, and pressed a simple button, silencing the alarm once. Sitting up, a raven-haired woman glanced around her room, as the early morning's light crept in between the half-open curtains covering the window. Rising from her bed, a tall frame, with delicate features, hiding the truth underneath, a hidden strength. Rising as early as she did, Aoife dressed herself for her normal morning routine. First, came her morning run, often, around three miles. Something to get her blood moving, allowing her mind to wake faster, let alone, the health benefits it gave her. Tailing her, was what appeared to be a white wolf, reaching no more than her knee, whom caught up to, and soon ran next to Aoife. Taking her time this morning, it took just a bit longer than normal for Aoife to finish her run. Returning, came the morning shower, followed by breakfast. Being especially careful of her choices was made easier thanks to the staffing of the base, whom respected Aoife's allergies, and offered foods that were made away from any meat. The joys of Alpha-gal, meats tend to be a nightmare. However, this morning, was a nice one, as Aoife took a plate, containing a decent serving of a Strawberry-almond bake of sorts.

After breakfast, came her vice, as Aoife stepped outside, a small lighter and soon cigarette was pulled from her pocket, taking fire to the paper, it was time to dull the edge of her stress. As she brought the cigarette to her lips, she pinched it there, and began walking to the next building on her agenda today, meeting her team with their leader of sorts. Walking to one of the completed buildings on base, Aoife snubbed out what remained of her cigarette, exhaling the last of her smoke, before entering the doors in front of her. Walking through the hallway before entering the meeting room she was designated. Taking a quick glance, Aoife saw two currently, one, a boy of sorts, with short white hair and eyes of crimson, whom sat at one of the tables towards the front with what appeared to be files sitting in front of them. It was apparent that this red-eyed boy was at the least, a representative of Project Sailor. It was hard to read him, though that may just come with time, the other, however, was quite an easy read. The light blue hair matching her eyes, paired with her posture, it was apparent she had a skewed perception of her self-importance, "Good morning." Aoife remarked, at least being somewhat polite in her words. Eventually, though, Aoife would find a seat, near the windows, allowing Lupa to jump into her lap as her legs crossed, now came the waiting game...

Project Sailor, a government funded military group that once captured magical girls--the thought of her joining up with the people she once evaded would be quite a shock, especially for her old self. Having spent the night unloading her luggage in her room in this presumably secret base, Clara naturally slept a bit late, slumping on the bedsheets.

That's when the alarm rung. It was set up by Clara, just for her to wake up with the new schedule handed to them after graduation. The Imp knew this slight change in waking up will take a bit to adjust to, even for him. He knew that the reason they got held back a few years is because of Clara's sleeping schedule--while they excel in combat, shaking off the rust that 3 years of not fighting made in mere days, she's a bit tardy when it comes to sleeping and waking up as she used to go at their own pace during both their travels and their time at the shop. The Drill Sergeants did not like tardy people, as one might know from experience.

The first to wake up was a small, horned red imp. With a bug like mouth and an inverted heart symbol on his forehead. Snapping awake at the alarm, this imp made it his duty to make sure his master, Clara, woke up just after the alarm rung. Well, at first, he was supposed to wake her up at least 30 minutes before, but the new schedule was quite confusing.

"Wah! Crud, that's loud..." The Imp gulped, cussing as he hurriedly stood up and ran towards his master, a woman with long black hair clad in red, sleeping deeply on top of her bed. Her hair was a tad messy, with a few stray locks fraying here and there. "Clara, wake up!" The Imp growled, rubbing the forehead of the red clad girl. "The alarm's sprung, dammit! Wake the hell up!" He starts to kick the girl's forehead, causing the girl to groan.

"Nnngh...Mephisto..." The girl groaned, her head shifting to the side with a yawn. "Just...Five more minutes..."

"WE'RE SOLDIERS NOW, DAMMIT! WAKE UP!" Mephisto, the Imp, yelling at his master. Still, Clara wouldn't wake up. "Grr...I didn't want to do this, but..." Growling, he positioned himself near Clara's, just at the cheek. Mephisto opened his mouth and inhaled, brandishing his bug-like fangs. "NOM!" Like an ant, he bit Clara's cheek, causing her to wince in pain as she rolled to the side, her body soon falling to the ground with a thud.

"Ow ow ow...Why did you do that...?" Clara groaned, rubbing the back of her head as she sat up.

"Why not? Your schedule's changed, ain't it?" Mephisto says, dusting his hands before he clambered onto Clara's shoulder. "Now hurry up and take a bath already. We're supposed to meet our team AND our chief this morning. Don't wanna make the wrong impression." He says, soon disappearing with an audible pop.

Clara yawned as she stretched, seeing as it's already too late to back out now and return to her peaceful life. Clara took a bit of time getting ready for meeting her team, though she didn't wear much make up, she did tie her hair. Wearing the usual sailor uniform gifted to her by her father when he came to visit and wiping the sleepy bags under her crimson eyes, Clara made her way to the cafeteria for breakfast before making her way to the meeting place.

Although she took a bit longer due to her being lost, Clara managed to find the room.

"See? Told you it's this one!" Laughed the red imp on Clara's shoulder. "Should've listened me the first time round, huh?"

"Sorry..."

"Don't be. This place is as big as your old house--when you're my size, at least. Just be glad I'm right, aight?" Sighed the imp as Clara observed the current people in the room. So far, there seems to be 3 people in the room, not counting her, of course. 2 of them appear to be women while one...The other one appears to be manly, but considering circumstances surrounding Project Sailor and their members as a whole, Clara might think it's rude to assume.

"Good morning." Clara greeted with a meek bow, soon finding a seat for her to sit at, with Mephisto hopping down in front of her. While Clara kept quiet while waiting for the others, Mephisto had a look around at Clara's teammates. The white haired dude feels carefree as all hell, playing with his keychain stuffed toy like it's an action figure. The light blue haired girl's quiet as well, though it feels more like she's doing it out of disdain for everyone else rather than mistrust, giving her a look that screams 'check this bitch out' with his beady, bug like eyes before moving on with the last one of the bunch. The black haired woman with a blank look on her face. She looks like someone not even Mephisto would want to mess around with.

"This seriously can't be everyone..." Mumbled Mephisto, glancing around the noticeably empty room.

"What's wrong?" Clara asked, seeing Mephisto rub his chin.

"Nothing. Just checking our gang." Mephisto turned to Clara, shrugging. "It may be me being positive, but I think we actually got here a little earlier this time." He said, which made Clara beam a smile a bit, having done something right after 3 years of oversleeping. Here's hoping that she'll continue this streak of not being tardy.

Cassandra grunted as she hauled herself into the room. She was many things- soldier, heroine, mistress of the wind and sky- but a morning person was not on the list. Tiamat fluttered in behind her like some dumb blue bird, idly taking a seat on a bookshelf.

"What the hell's so good about it? It's morning." she griped as she made herself some mud that passed for coffee. It might have been horrific, but it had caffeine and way too much sugar to be healthy, and that was what she needed right now. 'Tell me, when on earth does having to wake up at the crack of dawn mean it's going to be a good day?"

Kaito Salvatore

Oh, people were here! How exciting! She did not like the eyes Basūto was giving her keychain. Kaito gave a quick wave to the people who had entered before putting Pusheen back on her phone. There were sources of entertainment in the room with her, so she no longer needed something to occupy herself with.

"Good morning!" Kaito chimed, wearing a cheerful smile that didn't quite reach her cold gaze. So it seemed Basūto, Lane, Fletcher, and O'Connell were the type to arrive early, important information to have on them. Then again, there were still about twenty minutes before the meeting was actually supposed to start, so it wasn't as if other people had missed their chance to be early. Still, this was something to remember. She stood from her chair, her hands clasped behind to minimize the chances of making any physical contact with the other people in the room, and walked closer to the new magical girls. "Name's Kaito Salvatore! You can just call me Kaito, 'kay? I don't really like formalities. We still have a bit before we're supposed to start and we're still missing some people, so we're gonna have to wait, okay?"

Basūto still had an incorrect assumption about her self importance, if the way she carried herself and seemed to look down on everyone was anything to go by. The Seargants in the Magical Training Camp she was at must have been incredibly incompetent to allow this to be a top graduate. No matter, Kaito would break that self centered demeanor. She may have been more easygoing than any of the superiors they'd met during training, but she wouldn't have gotten this job if she couldn't deal with a spoiled princess.

"Oh, and I'm not actually your commanding officer, by the way- I'm actually above her. More of your mission control, if you will." Seriously, where was Sharon? It was unlike her to not arrive before everyone else. "But I'm probably a better person to greet you." Was that supposed to be reassuring?

And with her introduction done, she could get on to more important things...Like figuring out why this little blue haired bitch had been practically glaring at her keychain.

Kaito slid into a seat beside Basūto and pulled her phone out of her pocket. "You're Awa Basūto, right? I noticed you were looking at my keychain when you came in!" She held her phone out to Basūto so she could see the little multicoloured cat. "Do you like Pusheen too? I love him, he's got such a cute, round design!" With her happy voice and cheerful expression, one would be hard pressed to find the malice hiding beneaththe warmth of her words. She dared this spoiled brat to say something untoward about her keychain.

As their... superior addressed them all, smiling over all all of them, including the new people that just arrived. She though she might have seen the black-haired girl somewhere else, but everyone else was unfamiliar- including the other girl with the.... what were they called again? Ah. Mascots. She had tones of ideas about them, but she was honestly surprised the military doesn't just take them, or figure out a way to contain them. Lost in thought for a few seconds, she stared blankly at the wall in-front of her.

She didn't even pay to-much attention to her "Mission Control", instead wondering what she could do with a Mascot. Would her bubbles count as weapons? They did pop quite powerfully, if done right. Perhaps she could ask the owner of the red Imp?

As she day-dreamed strategies into the wall, their.... mission control pulled their phone out of her pocket, and sat down next to her. Great- As he asked if she was Awa Basūto, she responded with a nod-

Interacting with others was always her weakness. She rarely picked up social cues, and would often get lost in a train of though while talking. Well, she could maybe try to interact, but this was a train wreck destined to happen. All Awa had to do however, was figure out the right time to jump off the train.

As Katio asked Awa what she thought about his key-chain, Awa simply stated

"It looks to big to be practical. And... it's fine, I guess......."

She simply said part of her thoughts, trying to be.... polite. She doubted it would work out.

Blair Knight

Bastet

Considering how much of a model student that Blair was seen as during her academy days, no one would have imagined her being such a night owl to the point that she'd doze off in the middle of a meeting or class. Knowing that she would be introduced to the other members of the squad, she tried to force herself to sleep early. Truly a failed attempt on her part so she found herself training to control her magical powers. By the time she realized that she would be a little late to the meeting, Blair still hadn't reached her room in order for her to shower.

Blair ran like a bat outta hell narrowly avoiding running into other hall occupants. She hastily apologized and found the designated meeting room causing her to slide passed it slightly. While she backtracked, her right hand instinctively flew up to check for the presence of her choker.
Definitely can't meet them looking like that, that would be the worst first impression...kinda feels like I forgot something. Oh well. Blair entered with a toothy grin as she scanned the few that had already arrived. ''Good morning squadmates, the name's Blair. Sorry for being a little late, went a little overboard with training.''

Blair took a seat and released the breath she didn't realize she had been holding. The few in the room appeared to be friendly enough and she felt that nothing went wrong with her introduction. Blair had just closed her eyes for a second before something barreled straight into her face with impressive speed. She rubbed her now sore face and squinted at the white mass that glared back at her. Ah, that's what I forgot. Nyx puffed up even more before yelling in a shrill voice ''HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME BEHIND! AND WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT RUNNING AROUND LIKE SOME 6 YEAR OLD BOY ON A SUGAR HIGH! '' The nagging continued as Blair looked to the side and tried to zone it out.

Johanna Klauss
Interacting With: all ya'll
For a late person, Johanna was making her way to the meeting with an impressive lack of hurry. She walked through the base at a leisurely pace, occasionally stopping to peer through a window or gawk at some interesting sight or another. In contrast, the prattling coming from giant insect buzzing around her head could be heard from several rooms away.

"Come on, Jo! Hurry up! We're gonna get in trouble if we don't get there soon! What i-" Count squeaked, his voice mixing with the buzzing of his wings to produce a brand of prattle that was exclusive to him alone. Johanna, ignoring his concerns, took a swipe at him mid-flight to shut him up before he said something embarrassing.

"Chill, dude." She said casually, stopping to look the bug in his eyes. "Haven't you ever heard of being fashionably late? Don't worry. If they had enough candidates to fire willy-nilly, I doubt we would've gotten through the academy in the first place." Despite the self-depreciation in her words, Johanna spoke with a relaxed smile. She knew she wasn't always the sharpest tool in the shed, but predicting what exactly the oversized mosquito was worrying about was hardly a smart man's game. Of course, Count continued to prattle at her the moment he was given the chance, but his ruffian of a master had already started to drown him out again before he'd gotten the first word out.

By the time they were strolling through the meeting room's door, Count was already exhausted. The lively buzzing of his wings had stilled as he'd taken to perching atop one of Johanna's shoulders like a grotesque parrot, and his string of complaints had been reduced to quiet, bothered mutterings.

"Sup nerds." Johanna spoke as she entered the room and then gave a sloppy salute as she eyeballed the other Sailors. "This party started yet? Hope I didn't miss anything too important." At that, Count's wings twitched in irritation, and he shot her a sidelong glare.

"Oh you hope? If you actually cared you would've been here ten minutes ago!" The mascot buzzed incessantly. Johanna met his eyes with hers, raised her eyebrows at him as if to say "Are you finished?" and then jerked her shoulder to send him tumbling off.

"Buzz-off, man." Johanna dismissed the mascot's concerns without missing a beat. "It's not like they would've started talking about anything important without all of us here. Right, guys?" Johanna said, confident in her supposition until she remembered the time that she'd missed out on half of her job orientation because she'd overslept.

"Er. Right, guys?" She repeated herself, this time a little less sure of her 'fashionable lateness'. "We haven't started talking about anything important yet have we?"

Song
b911c98914d9d41a073fbc4bbc781786crop.png"Hmm." She examined herself in the windows outside of the meeting room. She was feeling a little too self-conscious today. After all, she was meeting new people, and perhaps the idea of presenting herself as her transformed self wasn't exactly the best idea. Still, she thought it was a good one. Whoever she was working with will have to know how she looked on the field, and the faster they got used to her other appearance, the better. That much, she learned from her days in Osprey. It took a good while for Kalvaryja, one of the girls that joined up in the same time that she did, to remember that she was looking for a white-haired machine rather than the dark-haired soldier. On the other hand, if she kept with this appearance, people would never recognise her real appearance, like the case with Kirsche, who joined Osprey a year after her. Decisions, decisions. She shrugged. Well, she was here to fight, and they'd be seeing her more often in battle. She scratched the back of her head. Thinking wasn't exactly her strong point. Whatever. No looking back now. Time to just head in and do what she can. Her third arm raised her cup of coffee to her lips, and she finished the rest of it with one gulp, before crushing it in her oversized arm's hand. She struck a pose, directing a pair of finger guns towards the nearest trash bin, and her third arm chucked the cup at it.

The styrofoam cup bounced off the rim, and landed on the floor. Sheepishly, Song made her way over to the cup, her skeletal feet clacking on the surface of the floor as she did, and gingerly disposed of the cup properly. She was fairly certain no one else was in the vicinity, but just in case. It wasn't nice to litter either. That said, her control of her arm was still as sound as ever. That was good. She did need to work on her aim though. She smoothed her hand over her giant arm, as if to console it. Okay, enough meandering about. Time to finally make her entrance. Just so she was sure of her control, she made her third arm turn the knob carefully, and open the door without breaking it off its hinges, before she stepped in herself, presenting herself at her full height.

"Yo," she offered her greeting casually. Song looked across the faces gathered here on this day, and, to her dismay, found them to be wanting. Years of experience in the field, both with and without this miraculous power of hers, have taught her much about the eyes of people, and none of them bore any hunger. Though her smile remained on her face, her eyes progressively lost their excitement the longer they beheld her peers. Truly, they were sending out children to fight their wars. This was the best that the academy could wring out from the works? What she wouldn't do to get Kalvaryja or Kirsche in this team. They were probably being shipped off to another team elsewhere. Though, she supposed that was the smart way to go about it, split up their Osprey specialists, rather than bunch them up, and risk losing ground elsewhere. Song guessed she could at least take some comfort in that - they had confidence enough in the specialists to split them up. That was a good a reason as any to make sure that her clients were getting what they were paying for.

She gave a short wave to the rest gathered in the room. No need for military pleasantries, no need for professionalism. These were just kids, after all. Well, she only had, give or take a few months, five years on some of them, but half a decade was a long time. Hell, half a decade had passed since the event that brought them all here today. "Hmm." She made a pensive sound, studying the looks on the faces of the lot in front of her with a lopsided smirk. It didn't look like any of them had lost anyone in those years. That was a good thing. That innocence of youth was well worth preserving. They didn't ask for it, but Song decided, there and then, that she was going to keep it that way. None of them were going to face the same thing that she did, so long as she was still standing.

She straightened up, finally realising that she had been staring at her audience for an awfully long time. "Sorry. It's just that you all really are an interesting lot. The name's Song. Louise Christina Song, codename Justice. Not a very creative name, I know, but it's easy to remember, and it's made up of two syllables. Quick and easy, yeah?" She gave a short laugh. Efficiency was key on the field. Though 'Justice' sounded tacky, it just felt right to her. She couldn't complain about it. She turned her attention to the other newcomers that seemed to have arrived just before her. "My my. What a pair of enthusiastic Mascots you have." She reached over to the mosquito and the cat, disregarding the former's off-putting appearance, and patted both of them on their heads, or what could constitute as one, she guessed. "I must have missed mine on the day they were handing these out, and got stuck with this big guy over here." With a nod of her head, she indicated her giant arm, which she playfully made recoil in shock. "What're their names?"

Sergeant Major Shanon DeLila
Location: Project Sailor HQ

Shanon was very, very irritated with herself. How in the name of whatever deity might be out there could she be late. She stepped out for all of five minutes and suddenly several hours have passed. Were she a bit crazier, she'd suspect that reality warping had been involved. Depending on how you view reality warping, that could be true on a meta level. Regardless, she wasn't that late and given the lack of alarms and screaming, it didn't seem like anyone had blown a hole in the wall yet. Shanon made sure her hat was straight and entered the room.

There was an... interesting assortment of girls in the room. She had to wonder if eccentricates were a side effect of magical powers. Or if the academy purposely cultivated them after the staff watched one too many anime. If so they had missed with her. At least, she thought they did.

"Hello there. Apologies for my tardiness." She said to the room, saluting. "My name is Sergeant Major Shanon DeLila. I am the overseer of this squad." Whatever that means. She added to herself.

They assigned me to recon on this squad due to my flying skill. It's... good to meet all of you." She blushed a little bit, she'd always been horrific at social interactions. Tiamat had been trying to pry her out of her shell, but it just wasn't easy.

A black SUV had pulled up to the front enterance as the car's engine was shut off. The door to the driver's side opened as a pretty female with Lavender hair, styled in two twintails, exited the vehichle, and keys tucked away into her jacket's right pocket. She had just gotten a letter not two weeks ago after having left her home city of Moscow, Russia, a letter of invitation to join a group and help fight against the creatures that had caused terror every so often.

A small fighter jet, the size of a Base Ball, had flown up next to Chryska's Left side, and spoke in a squeeky voice, "I remember when we first met. It's quite funny where we ended up now since then, don't you think so too Chris?"
Chris was a nickname she used to introduce herself to strangers. She growled with closed eyes remembering her first time transforming, due to monster's rampage in her homeland.

"I still dislike how whenever we unite, my clothes get destroyed to do so."
"Again, I am so sorry about the side effect! Don't hit me!"
Chris sighed.
"Guess we should introduce ourselves."

Chris and the fighter jet, went in and took the elevator to the main room, as she looks to her fairy. "You think we'll make any friends here Jetson?"
Jetson flexed his wings as if he was shrugging, his wing tips bending down as he was unsure.
"I am more concerned about running into anyone that recognizes me."
"Who would even recognize you? You arent exactly the standard fairy."
"Well, I cant say it isnt impossible."

The elevator stopped at the main floor as Chris walked ahead.
"Guess we will see."
Chis had entered and there were 8 other people there that she could see. There was at least 1 guy amongst them ( Necromantic Necromantic ) from what she saw. There was some who looked like they came from Japan, and one older girl who looked like a military leader of sorts.
Chris smiled and waved.
"Hey guys! I am here and ready to do my best alongside you girls, and you handsome guy!"
She said, the "Guy" statement directed at Kaito, while winking.

It did not take long for more to arrive, as Aoife remained in her chair, watching the squadron assemble, she couldn't help but at the least take mental notes of each of the people now entering the room.

The first, was the boy Kaito, with white hair and red eyes, he addressed himself as mission command of some sort. Sociable, and friendly, he seemed to be willing to talk with most everyone and especially admired the appearances of the mascots. Talking with him, was another raven-haired woman, whose mascot appeared to be a demon of sort, though, admittedly cute. The dynamic between the girl and mascot was most assuredly interesting, to say the least. The third member to arrive, was a familiar face, as, Cassandra, entered in an unpleasant grumble. She was never a morning person as far as Aoife knew, and it was showing today. Hearing her complain, Aoife gave her childhood friend a remark, to poke her anger just a little, "Well, Cassandra, you now have more hours of the day to do what you so please. It's not as bad if you sleep at a reasonable hour."

As her words lingered to the other ebon-haired woman who entered, more of the squadron had come in, one whom Lupa knew the scent of, the new girl had the obvious scent of a cat, Blair. As she sat down, the reason of that scent came in, as a cat appeared quickly, shouting at Blair with a vengeance, and kept nagging from there. Then came another, how big was this squad? After her, three more entered in quick succession, one introducing herself as the field operator, Shanon. Quickly noting also, was one transformed? As Aoife looked at a woman with blonde hair, and three arms? Furthermore, her outfit did seem strange to say the least. Yet, the sound of Lupa's voice range in the back of Aoife's head, as the wolf's black eyes looked up, a deep sigh came from her, before she set Lupa on the table, and stood.

Stepping from the table, Aoife began to speak, generally to everyone,
"I am Aoife O'Connell, codename Wolf. It's a pleasure to serve with all of you." As her words aided in filling the air in sound, Aoife set herself into her own mind again, 'don't get attached to them.' As she thought those words over and over, the last thing she wanted to do, is make friends here, especially with what she was here to do. What her goals were, she couldn't let herself be attached to the new squadron, as the last thing she needed, was a conflict of her interests. However, just staying back and watching felt enough to her, to get the interaction she needed without getting herself into a mess of her heart and her mind. Best stay to the side, let them have their fun, and watch, gauge her allies, and figure out what she can of them...

Sergeant Major Shanon DeLila

Shanon lowered her hand and crossed her arms, adopting her “uptight, serious leader” look. She had learned to perfect it over the years, in order to mask her thoughts. And with good reason, as circumstances continuously showed. In this room alone she counted at least three people who were, or looked like they had been, intently studying everyone and everything.

One of them was already being accosted by Kaito, Shanon made a mental note to buy flowers for her funeral. Another, who appeared to be transformed, seemed to be taking an interest in some of the other girls’ mascots, there sure were a lot of those around. The final one, Aoife, worried Shanon a bit. She was... unreadable. Not that Shanon had never met unreadable people before but, as mentioned, magical girls tended to be... quirky.

Breaking her expression for just a moment, Shanon gave Aoife a short look that clearly communicated one thing: I know you’re watching.

She quickly returned to her standard issue pose.

Ah, Aoife's in this squadron. Good, good. Cassandra had known the other girl since before the Project had gotten their hands on her. The training regime had been brutal, physically, magically, and emotionally, and she had been sure she wouldn't have made it through without a friend. Which, perhaps, was the point of it all.

"Sergeant Delilah, do we have some assignments for today? If not, I'd like to get down to the training room, do some target practice. If anyone wants to join me. we might be able to throw in some magical sparring as well."

Blair Knight

Bastet

It surely was a strange assortment of people that had shown up. Blair was more interested in the girl that made the decision to come into the meeting in her magical girl form. Bold. Completely bold, how is she not embarrassed? Nyx had settled down and was resting on Blair's head, leaving her hair even more of a mess. It was then that she had realized that same woman she was thinking of was speaking to her, ''Ah, this little demon is Nyx...who also responds to Princess but for obvious reasons I'm not calling her that.''

Blair turned her attention back on the people that had spoken up about their positions and introduced themselves. Even after the general had introduced herself in a pretty chill manner, Blair had no expectactions of Cassandra being too much fun. Watching the girl seriously returning the salute made her regret her life choices. The last thing she had dreamed of was being involved in a dull and boring squad. Blair watched as Cassandra cheeks turned a nice shade of pink and let out a breath she had been holding. Well at least that means she not just some boring and unfeeling person. Blair perked up considerably at the notion of training, she may be goofy at times but training was where she knew she could shine...minus the personality issues that she hadn't told the squad about. ''OOOOHHH I'd love to train and spar if that's an option.''

Even after her outburst, Blair still tried to contain herself in her seat and calm herself. And then there was the one that had truly captured her eye for a very complicated reason that was actually quite simple. Blair in comparison would say that she herself looked...reliable if nothing else. Aoife, the one Blair deemed the prettiest of the bunch. All of the girls were pretty, even Lone Bro Kaito wasn't too shabby for a boy, but none of them compared in her eyes. As once so honest as herself does, of course Blair's thoughts travelled straight to her mouth with no obstacles. Blair tapped the table in Aoife's direction to catch her attention and spoke with with the same enthusiastic tone that one would have for their favorite idol, ''Wow Aoife, you're so pretty. I'm glad my siblings were wrong when they said I'd probably be in a squad full of burly men.''

Shanon almost snickered at Blair's comment. Almost. No "burly man" worth his salt would admit to being a Magical Girl, sexist as that sounded. At the academy the female to male ratio was very much skewed towards female, and even then most of the boys were... less than the traditional vision of "manly." Not that that was a problem. Being a good soldier was not a measure of how big your muscles were. Especially in the field of Magical Girl, where most muscle mass was lost anyways.

"As far as I'm aware, there are no assignments." Shanon said to Cassandra. She jabbed a thumb at Kaito. "Though I'd suggest asking Kaito. ‘E’s in charge of assigning, well, assignments, not me. Personally, I was intending to head to the training room myself."

"Oh, don't worry, you're not late DeLila! ....But if you see Galatea on your way out, please introduce him to everyone...I'm not sure if he's late again or refusing to be around so many.....Uhm, anyway." In hindsight, maybe she shouldn't have given him the medical files on this new team before he met them, he'd frozen up the moment he realized that he was pretty much the only man. Oh well. Kaito stood up, pocketing her keychain. Let's see, it looked like almost everyone was there, and one of them was already transformed- She was ready for battle, at the very least. Not a single one of them was in uniform, but that was fine because Kaito didn't strictly enforce their uniform. It wasn't as if they could wear them once they transformed.

...And there was the absolute cutest Mascot that Kaito had ever seen, and she'd seen a lot of Mascots! She wanted to squeeze that little fluffball so much! Was that...Knight's mascot? That girl was Knight, right? Kaito had memorized all of the faces and names, but she could have that wrong. Regardless, she wanted a mascot as adorable as this one. She'd seen pictures of it in Knight's files, but they hadn't done it justice at all.

Kaito's attention was pulled away from the cutest mascot in the entire world when she heard somebody compliment her. At least, she was pretty sure that she must've meant her, because Kaito unless there was somebody else in the room that could be mistaken for a guy. That, and the girl was winking at her. This one had to be....Yamikaze? This was so much easier to remember when she was looking at photographs.

"Oh, me? I'm flattered, but I won't be fighting with you guys. I....oversee this team." They didn't need to know the full extent of her job, so she wouldn't tell them. "You're Chris Yami- H-Hey, wait don't go training yet, you just got here!" People trying to leave within minutes of getting in the room....Kaito was pretty lax with the rules herself, but what training camp did these people go to where that was protocol?

"You can go train once we're done here. Until then, sit"

Shanon nodded at Kaito. "Do you want me to track him down now or just wait?"

Shanon had to feel bad for Garnet. The poor boy was essentially stuck in a building full of his biggest fear: girls. Most people would laugh but it was a genuine phobia. The only girls he seemed okay around were herself and Kaito and she wasn't sure why. Maybe he still hadn't figured out Kaito was a girl? Doubtful but possibly amusing.

Aoife's watchful eyes remained on those around her, though her eyes were set on one person for another moment, the white-haired leader of the squadron, Shanon DeLila. Meeting the crimson eyes with her own Silver eyes, Aoife looked back at her commander, whose appearance wasn't all too different from her own, dressed rather professionally, though the White-haired Shanon wore the whole military dress uniform, in comparison to the Black-haired Aoife wearing a plain white blouse and black pants, their hair was even rather similar in length, though one wore theirs up in comparison to the simple brushing that the other does in most circumstances. Even down to their actions in the room with others, both stayed off in their respective corners, keeping to themselves outside of simple introductions. Yet, here they were, sharing a glance, their complexions breaking for but a few moments to express the same thing: They were watching one another.

Rolling her eyes back to Lupa, the two exchanged their separate glances, as they communicated silently, Aoife began to return to the seat she had taken earlier. Then, another came into the picture, as the sound of the table she was at was tapped in a discreet way to get her attention, and only her attention if possible. Turning to the tapper, it was the short-haired woman whose feline mascot came screeching into the room a moment after her. It seemed her mascot finally stopped nagging her enough to get to Aoife, it was quite interesting, as usually, Aoife considered cats to be rather quiet beings, so it was strange to her hearing a cat that loud, while Lupa was mostly quiet much like Aoife. Maybe the mascots themselves inherit some of the personalities their respective Magical Girl? A decent hypothesis that could use some research later down the line likely. But that thought was brushed aside, much akin to how a snow plow brushes the snow aside, by the Short-haired woman's enthusiastic words. She seemed excited, way too excited to talk to Aoife of all people, speaking quickly,

''Wow Aoife, you're so pretty. I'm glad my siblings were wrong when they said I'd probably be in a squad full of burly men.''

Aoife at first, had no response, as her eyes looked over the woman, whom was easily much shorter than her, with a interesting set of azure eyes, with flecks of gold, almost like beams of the setting sun reflecting off the sea, a sharp contrast to the silver tone of Aoife's eyes. Taking a moment to collect her words, Aoife spoke with her usual straight-arrowed tone, "I... Appreciate the comment.
Though cannot say you are correct in my eyes." As her words lingered, her eyes darted over to Kaito, whom began to speak, at first, a careful ear listened for something, however, once she had learned of what he was saying, Aoife went back into her own small conversation with Blair, "As for the squadron, I'm not shocked that it's mostly feminine. Though, it is interesting to say the least..." With her words trailing off, Aoife glanced over the room once more, looking over the group she was to go to battle with once more.

"Nyx, huh? Cute name!" She rubbed the Mascot on the head before turning her attention to the rest of the room.

Song observed the room for just a little bit longer, before she let out a long, drawn out sigh. Hell of a thing, this war room. There wasn't a medal in sight, and yet these kids were trying to brown nose as much as possible. Could the air in here be any thicker? Song brushed her long, white hair behind her shoulder, and, with a snap of her finger, dispelled the glamours that held her magical body together with a rush of energy. Standing in the tall creature's place now, was the rather average-looking dark-haired Asian in all of her beige frippery. She straightened her tie, and offered the crowd a grin. "Well, you're gonna be disappointed, because I guess I'm the burliest and manliest you're gonna get from this group, it seems!" She laughed in reply to the Blair's comment, before moving over to one named Sharon, nudging her in the arm.

"Sergeant Major, eh? Well, if we're still going by our military ranks here, I'm, or well, I was Sergeant Louise Song. Nowadays, I'm just wreaking havoc as a contractor for Osprey Security. The army just wasn't cutting it." She offered a hand for a shake. Though she smiled, the mere mention of the military seemed to prevent the smile from reaching her eyes. Instead, a deep, pensive, impenetrable darkness stared back from behind her brown eyes. "Good to see another soldier in this line, though! Nothing like seeing one in action, as far as I'm concerned. I hope to do well by your standards, oh venerable Sergeant Major!" She bowed, cheery sarcasm coating her every word.

She wheeled away from the Sergeant Major, smoothing one hand over her head. "Anyway, no assignments, huh? Then there isn't much to sit around here for?" Why'd she even bother to turn up, then? "I was really hoping to sharpen my swords on something at the very least. And, aren't you guys tired from the training they ran us through in camp? Or did they give you snacks for beating your best time that I wasn't aware about?." She guessed training was alright, but there was just something...dull about sparring and training. Having been in actual fights really took the edge out of what amounted to playfighting in a controlled environment. She supposed it did help with hand-eye coordination and improved on the reflexes, but still, there was nothing like a life-and-death situation.

"Ah hell. Sure, I'd be happy to throw down. Nothing like a little sparring to grease up the joints. Be careful though, I bite." She gave a low chuckle aimed at Cassandra.

"Alright, then let's see what you've got!" Cassandra led Louise downstairs to the training room, which had an Eastern-style dojo, a fitness room with a weight setup, and several training dummies and targets for gunwork and ranged spells. She stood proudly in the center of the dojo, took a deep breath, and called out:

"Dragon Wings, lift my heart!"

There was a rush of wind like a concentrated tornado, obscuring Cassandra from sight for a second by its sheer force. When it was over, the Azure Dragon beamed at her new teammate, bowing low. "Your turn."

"Suppose the time is now" Ajax sighed as he walked into the building. How late was he? The walk around the building was comforting and confusing. While he liked not only getting to miss work and the fact that he no longer needed to worry over some of his expenses, the idea of answering the call to battle was something that didn't really stir any type of need to fight, not to mention the fact that if he hated who he was taking orders from then there would be no hope for him. Still...when he was told what the options were for his future and the limited choices he could make, this seemed like the lesser of the evils in a manner of speaking. He took his time to 'find' where they were supposed to meet. He already had a feeling as to where he was supposed to go but he wanted to delay the inevitable for as long as possible. He often retraced his steps so that he could avoid finding the meetup room.

In his hood he felt a small creature fidget. Bronx had often taken to napping in various parts of his clothing. Ajax's hood was a particular favorite spot for him. He stopped to reach behind him. The small bat was fast asleep and not even roused by the sudden movement. He was almost tempted to scare him awake but with how peaceful the fairy looked, Ajax decided to put him back and let him sleep. Besides if he'd been up Bronx would likely berate him in some way, telling him to 'Honor his duty as a magic user'. He loved the little guy but felt that he had too high of a standard for him.

As his false search continued, Ajax soon came across a door. He was sure there was someone talking inside but wasn't sure who they were. Letting a sigh leave him, he decided to take a look. Sooner or later he'd have to face his commander and comrades so he might as well get it over with. He was surprised to find the location here though, he was sure it was somewhere else. He was shocked to see where he was. The room had been outfitted with machines meant to strengthen others. There was a shooting gallery and even a ring of some sort. Inside there were 2 people already prepping for a match. Ajax walked over to them, wanting to see who they were.

"I see, then." Kaito muttered as she watched Cassandra walk out, as if she hadn't just to not leave, the playful tone in her voice gone. If this girl had been in a training camp where it was perfectly fine to leave despite being ordered not to, it looked like Kaito would need to train this bitch out of it. It wouldn't take long to break her of that tendency, she'd be sure of that. How was this brat a top graduate?

Being late was fine, not being in uniform was fine- Those things didn't matter to Kaito. But blatantly disregarding an order? Not so much.

"Okay, everyone, it seems our meeting will have to wait, okay? We're about to have a drill for when a monster is sighted- But don't worry, you're all exactly where you're supposed to be. Oh, and don't worry, DeLila, I'll talk to Garnet myself."

With that said, she walked toward the door and pulled out her phone, casually sending a few texts- a message to Garnet, telling him to ignore the alarm when she pulled it (for his sake, and because frankly I do not want to write for him right now), a cute selfie to vittorio, and a quick message to the rest of the nonmagical girl staff that she would be performing a monster sighting drill as to not panic them. Biding her time, waiting until she thought Cassandra would be in the training room.

Then, once she thought the disobedient brat would be in the training room, she reached up and pulled the monster sighting alarm.
