I serenade my depression

An atheist may deny the existence of God,
Perhaps they hold some truth,
But my heart doth speak a different tale,
How can I put into words, this love of mine?
If no God be present,
If there never was a divine being,
Then, at the very least,
I know I am capable of loving to the brink of madness.
