Ryu Jae-won
(Bodyguard)
full

Basic Info

Full Name: Ryu Jae-won

Nickname: Jae, Darkness Dragon

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual (At Least We Think So)

Face Claim: Guren Ichinose from Owari no Seraph

Appearance

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Dark Purple

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 143 lbs

Tattoos/Markings: Lightning Bolt on Back

Distinguishing Features: That Goddamned Cocky Smirk

Personality

Personality:
To be perfectly honest, Jae is a cocky bastard. He's well aware of his fighting prowess and not afraid to brag about it. Sometimes Jae comes off as incredibly vain or self-centered, but that's really just a front for the caring side of him that no one is allowed to see. (Unfortunately, he's sometimes caught in the act of showing this side of himself. That never ends well.)

Jae takes his job as the princess's bodyguard very seriously. Even though the current king's men are trying to hunt her down, he'll do anything to make sure she stays safe. In a way, he's jealous of the Dragon Warriors for taking over his job as the princess's protector, but he understands that he has limitations like every other human. That doesn't mean he has to like it, though.

YES, fine, he cares very deeply about the princess. But that's what happens when you've been someone's childhood friend for so many years.

Likes:
Fighting, Messing with the Princess, Sleeping, Dark Clothing

Dislikes:
The Current King, Pacifism, Anyone Who Hurts the Princess, Cutesy Things

Quirks:
he may or may not sleep shirtless, tends to avoid talking about his feelings by making crude jokes, always joking around

Fears:
Losing the princess or not being able to protect her

History

History:
Ryu Jae-won was born to a couple in the Wind Clan. When they died from a harsh disease, the general of the Wind Tribe took him in and raised him. Jae still calls him "Old Man" as opposed to "Father." Along with his adoptive "brother," he grew up in the Wind Clan training to become a great warrior.

It was when the old man took him to the main castle that Jae met the princess and her cousin. Though he was loathe to admit it, they became fast friends, and Jae someday dreamed to be alongside them despite their being royalty. He continued training hard in order to be able to serve them.

By the time he was a teenager, he was powerful enough to beat the general in a fight, and that was when Jae adopted his more cocky behavior. However, he still dreamed to someday be his friends' personal guards, thinking that perhaps they might even marry someday, even though he was hiding his own personal feelings on the matter.

And then the current king killed the princess's father. Jae wasn't quite sure how to react, but he knew that if he could, he would violently avenge the old king. Maybe he didn't agree with everything the previous king did, but he'd never go so far as to kill him. Now he has to protect the princess as they stay just ahead of their old friend's men who wish to kill them.

Of course, they picked up a few friends along the way.

Theme Song: "Landscape" by SOLIDEMO (Fairy Tail Zero Ending)

Abilities

Skills:
Martial Arts
Well, yeah, he's a bodyguard. Fighting with weapons is great and all, but Jae needs to be able to fight without them, too. So he knows quite a bit of martial arts, though he's not a big fan of it.
Swordsmanship
His favorite weapon is his sword, and so he's trained with it for a long time. There is a reason he was once considered the General of the Wind Clan.
Strategy
Just because he's a bodyguard doesn't mean Jae doesn't understand war. He's studied war strategy for years, and he knows his way around a battlefield.

Weapons:
Most types, but especially a sword or bow and arrows
He secretly wants to try out a glaive sometime

fears... Being Abandoned | Letting Down Her Kingdom
personality... Mei doesn't believe she should be a princess. That's the short version, in her opinion. She acknowledges her faults and knows that they don't truly fit the mold of what a princess should be. She's quiet and shy and to be frank, a bit socially awkward. She doesn't do too well meeting new people, and she's terrible at finding out when someone is trying to pull something over her eyes. Mei knows if it wasn't for her closest friends, she most likely would have died long ago. She doesn't mean to use it as an excuse, and she does try to better herself, managing to open up to new people as she meets them, but her automatic response is still to hide behind Jae. She's very grateful for his height when it comes to this.

Now that's not to say that Mei is only an awkward mess. On the other hand, she does hold the qualities a princess should have. She's kind and caring, always giving what she can whenever she can. She's sweet and loves to laugh and enjoys spending time with those closest to her. She truly cares about what happens to those around her and how the other tribes are doing. She just isn't sure exactly how to be heard. She wants to help make a difference, but she's so used to being seen as a decoration by most that she isn't sure how to be heard. When she was with her cousin or Jae, things were different. She could be as loud or silly as she wanted and she knew that they would listen to her. They didn't make her feel like a doll, and that's why her cousin's betrayal hit her so hard.
[/div]

[div class=textbox]
history
Mei was born the only daughter to the Emperor of Kouka, with her mother dying in child birth. Due to this, her father was left with the only option of giving his daughter to a nanny. He was the Emperor, not to mention a man, how would he be able to raise a child? He didn't have the time. However, that didn't mean that he didn't love his daughter. Mei was the apple of his eye, and he loved spending time with her whenever he could manager to sneak away for a few hours. Some of his favorite memories were when he'd take her from her room as a baby and brought her into his so they could sleep curled up together. The two continued this tradition for a long time, even after she'd grown up more, although it ended up being more when she'd had a nightmare.

Despite her childhood being sheltered, Mei did enjoy her early years at the palace. She had her father and Uncle and her cousin, but things only got better when the Wind Tribe Chief brought his adopted son, Jae, to the castle. The three children began to spend time together immediately and quickly became childhood friends. Jae was someone that Mei knew she could rely on, someone she could be herself around. As they grew older and Jae came to stay at the castle as her bodyguard, Mei thought she could never be happier. That was until she had to begin to attend court functions.

No matter how much she enjoyed playing, she was a Princess and she had duties to attend to. When she first began to participate, she was terrified, and it was only her father sitting next to her that kept her from having a panic attack. After attending a few sessions, she began to take interest, realizing much of what was being discussed was issues of the kingdom. As time passed and she grew older, she wanted to speak up and offer up ideas on how to help improve the kingdom, but she was always hushed whenever she'd managed to squeak something out. She quickly learned the lesson many princesses learned. A Princess should be seen not heard.

Due to this realization, Mei struggled even more to get out of her awkward shell. Jae and her cousin were large helps, but upon finding her cousin murdering her father in cold blood and then trying to kill her, she shut down. When Jae came to her rescue that night, she wondered how on Earth they'd survive, but she'd underestimated him. Now they journeyed around the kingdom, finding new friends along the way.
[/div]

[div class=textbox]
abilities
skills...
Her Compassion | Due to the fact that she's led such a sheltered life, Mei doesn't really have any life helping skills other than being kind to those they stumble upon. She quickly became known to her new friends as somewhat reckless due to this, seeing as she has no problem walking right up to someone if they appear to need help.
weapons...
Bow and Arrow | She's been begging Jae to teach her as a way to better protect herself, even though she really wants to learn to help defend him and the others.

[div class=text][div class=title]Basics[/div]
Full Name: Se-Eun
Nickname: Eun, Beautiful genius
Age: 16 years old
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Faceclaim: Makoto Kikuchi - The iDOLM@STER[/div]

[div class=text][div class=title]Appearance[/div]
Hair colour: Black
Eye colour: Purple
Height: 5'3"/160cm
Weight: 110lb/50kg
Markings/Tattoos: None
Distinguishing features: Her boyish looks and demeanour, along with her short height makes others mistake her for a young boy.[/div]

[div class=text][div class=title]Personality[/div]
Confident and kind, Eun is a self-proclaimed beautiful/handsome genius and constantly proves that she is one with her knowledge and medical skills. She can be pretty sarcastic and strict, but she genuinely cares for her friends' and is easily moved to tears. Her never-ending thirst for knowledge makes her always want to improve and learn new things. She's always had to clean and take care of Ik-soo's wounds, but since she set off to find the four dragons, Eun has been more determined to learn more about medicine. Not just for the sake of her friends, but for the people of Kouka Kingdom who suffered and can't afford help. Her knowledge also dabbles into self defence, even though she dislikes violence, she would put her life on the line without hesitation to protect others.

In charge of cooking, sewing, keeping inventory, and basically anything household, Eun is the acting 'mother' of the group and often scolds the group when they aren't cooperating or fighting with each other.

Likes: Cooking | Reading | Travelling | Learning
Dislikes: Violence | Fighting | Being alone
Quirks: Is really good with household chores | May forget that she's a girl and that some boundaries should not be crossed
Fears: Not skilled enough to save others, especially her friends | That she's not wanted[/div]

[div class=text][div class=title]Skills[/div]
Healing: She learned how to heal for Ik-Soo, the prophet's sake due to his clumsiness. She applies this ability to the team and everyone they meet that needs it. From reading books and observing others, Eun has a very vast knowledge of different remedies, and is always prepared to treat a variety of different injuries. Despite her great ability in this area though, Eun is no proper doctor.

Cooking: She can make a food out of anything, even just insects or weeds. Eun also incorporates medical knowledge into her cooking to make energy drinks for their travel.

Memorisation: Eun can memorise a book in one reading. She can also remember how to do things quickly and perfectly produce results in a short amount of time after being shown once. [/div]

[div class=text][div class=title]History[/div]
An orphan in a poor village in the Fire tribe, all Eun ever known was how to lie and steal so that she could see the sun the next day. Her selfishness and thievery allowed her to live. She kept her hair short and learnt to be rough like a boy so she wouldn't be taken lightly. It wasn't until she met Ik-soo, a wondering priest from the capital, that she changed for the better.

Years of taking care of the clumsy Ik-soo honed Eun to be skilful in taking care of others and keeping the house intact. She enjoyed her little life secluded in the forest. The priest continued his charity works across the land and would bring back books for Eun to learn. It was only when a certain general and princess appeared out of nowhere that Ik-soo suddenly asked Eun to follow them on their journey. She was angry and hurt at first, thinking that her friend no longer needed her. However, she came to terms with it after some time and accepts.

On their journey, she's seen the princess grow and change, and has the conviction to lay down her life for her if needed. Now, with her new group of friends, she continues to keep them healthy and make sure they don't get into too much trouble. Not counting her own kind of trouble. Being used to just being by herself and Ik-soo, she has no second thoughts about her changing or 'showing too much skin' around the boys.

THE WHITE DRAGON

BASIC INFO

tsurumaru_kuninaga_by_matcharie-d8z33c7.jpg

Name: Yukimaru Naga.

Nickname: White Dragon, Snow Monster, The left-handed Swordsman, Yuki

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Hair color: White

Eye color: Golden

Height: 5’8’’

Weight: 138lbs

Tattoos/Markings: None.

PERSONALITY

Friendly and generally nice to the people he meets, Yukimaru likes to get to know others, but is reserved in the sense that he doesn’t like talking about himself. It’s not so much that he lacks confidence. Rather, Yukimaru likes keeping his distance. He prefers being an observer, possibly due to his own egotism. Yuki has a jaded view of the Kouka Kingdom that stems from what happened with the White Dragon Clan. He doesn’t hate it—that was the promise he’d made to caretaker and sword instructor. However, Yuki doesn’t hold a particular love for his home country either. His feelings to Kouka and the royal family are…detached. Like he doesn’t care one way or another who rules or why.

Tsurumaru.Kuninaga.full.1863468.jpg
Nonetheless, Yuki does have his own set of morals that he lives by. He is kind to strays. He knows what it’s like to be alone. He understands suffering. Should he see such things in front of his eyes, he’d be inclined to offer his assistance…after first analyzing situation. Yuki is ruled by his mind, not his heart. He believes that the end justifies the means in most scenarios and understands that sacrifice is necessary in order to achieve great things. That includes his own life of course. The young man isn’t selfish. Quite the opposite. Yuki would gladly sacrifice himself for the greater good or something he’s devoted to. Sadly, from watching others kill each other for money, to being considered a ‘monster’ for his hand, to being sought after for the White Dragon’s power, there isn’t much in the Kouka Kingdom that he can say he believes in or deeply loves.

Except for his sword.

Yuki is a swordsman. He prefers to fight with the blade in his left hand than his right one in most situations, only using the White Dragon hand when necessary or for defense. He enjoys clashing blades with fellow swordsmen where he can test and improve his own his own skills. His blade is his pride. Yuki doesn’t want to be completely dependent on the hand he’d been born with. He knows it’ll be useless once the next White Dragon is born. Instead, he wants a strength that’ll last him until he dies. He wants to carve his own path with skills he’s developed and chosen himself rather than a power God had given him. He doesn’t like being helpless and, while willing to acknowledge that fate/destiny might exist, isn’t the type to let it rule his decisions. Even if he’s willing to offer his life, it has to be a decision he’s made himself. That stubborn, un-yielding spirit is something he’d honed while surviving alone in the snowy mountains, sharpened by his own sword training.

Yuki is independent. Used to living alone. As such, he has a hard time asking others for help. He’d rather be the one giving the help. Dependable and dutiful, he won’t abandon those he’s promised to assist or cares for. He keeps promises. He’ll bear burdens on his own with a smile on his face. He doesn’t complain. Nor does he feel particularly entitled to anything. He doesn’t like the spotlight. He has a tendency to hide the things he likes. As one who owns very little, Yuki is very protective of the things he does have. He keeps his possessions close. He is resourceful and would rather save than spend—rarely does he ever waste money on what he considers to be unnecessary. Yuki himself doesn’t need much as he lacks ambition beyond survival. When possible, Yuki prefers to avoid trouble and conflicts. That’s the main reason he keeps his right hand hidden in his sleeves. He doesn’t hate his enemies. But he’s not merciful either. That’s simply how it goes up in the cold mountains.

Likes: blades, animals, warmth, picking up things, caring for things, hunting.

Dislikes: excessive sunlight, getting his clothes dirty (white is very hard to clean), losing things, being helpless, rain.

Quirks: He tends to hide his monstrous hand in his large sleeves unless it’s needed. However, it’s not just his hand. Yuki also tends to put the things he “picks up” in those large sleeves as well. He has a chronic lung condition that doesn't manifest unless he's away from Kouka--a byproduct of being abandoned in the mountains during winter. Basically he'll start coughing up blood if he leaves Kouka for too long.

Fears: Being completely alone, losing the things he cares for, regrets

HISTORY

The decimation of the White Dragon Clan started with the previous White Dragon, prior to Yukimaru. Resentful of the isolated lifestyle imposed upon him by his clan, the man left his village to carve his own path in life. He became a bandit. Joined a band of thieves and eventually returned to betray his kin for wealth. Yukimaru was only a child when he watched the hand of the White Dragon slay his parents. He was seven when he was forced to flee his home with his chosen caretaker, a eighteen year old swordswoman named Rena, towards the mountains. As the new White Dragon, Yukimaru wasn’t allowed to die with the rest of his kin. He had a destiny before him.

Treated differently since his birth, Yukimaru had always known the legend of the Kouka and the four dragons. He knew what his role was supposed to be and that his life was to be spent awaiting the descendant of the Crimson Dragon. Everyone in the village told him so. There were only two people that thought differently. Yukimaru’s predecessor, the White Dragon Ranbou and his sister Rena. Yukimaru loved Rena more than his parents. Revered as the next White Dragon, even by his birth parents, only his caretaker Rena treated him like the child he was. She taught him many things while her brother was away. It was her that started Yukimaru’s interest in swordsmanship, though he wouldn’t get any good at it until Ranbou’s betrayal.
Tsurumaru.Kuninaga.full.2042008.jpg

After saving his life Rena left him in a snowy cave, leaving him her sword and promising to return. She never did. Waiting alone for Rena, Yukimaru caught pneumonia, and might died if not for a passing hunter who saved him. It was months before Yukimaru finally acknowledged that Rena might be dead. Or might have abandoned him. He learned how to survive with the help of the hunter and practiced with the sword Rena left him. Years passed. The hunter offered to take him down from the cold mountains to where his family lived, but Yuki refused—a part of him still clinging on the possibility that Rena might return.

Rumors of a snow monster living the mountains drew bounty hunters to Yukimaru’s location. Yukimaru killed them. Then looted their corpses. It became a cycle. Yuki eventually came to learn that it was a noble of the Sky clan that wanted his power and put a bounty on him. It was the same noble that was involved with Ranbou and his band of thieves. Yukimaru plotted his revenge. He assassinated the Sky Clan noble and all the thieves involved with the annihilation of the White Dragon Clan. However, by the time he was ready to assassinate Ranbou, the man was already at death’s bed…Yukimaru’s existence being the very curse that would take away Ranbou’s life. Rena was there as well, kept prisoner by her brother and the noble for all these years. She asked Yuki to kill her along with her brother. After all, she’d been just as involved in the destruction of their clan as her brother was. Yuki didn’t. He couldn’t. So he returned to his home in the mountains never hearing from the two siblings again.

Theme Song:

ABILITIES
Power: His right hand is a dragon’s and thus has incredible strength. He can enlarge it at will, using it in both offense and defense. Nails are sharp like dragon claws.

Skills: Swordsmanship, hunting, living in harsh conditions/cold, snow-y, mountainous terrains. He knows how to cook and is surprisingly good with his hands (both of them). Handles blades exceptionally well and takes up carving wooden figurines from stray pieces of bark in his spare time. Oh, and assassination. He's probably decent at that.

Weapons: 78-cm katana given to him by his caretaker and a couple of stolen daggers.

||| Blue Dragon |||

Basic InfoFull Name || Abzu Kurotama
Age || 19
Gender || Male
Sexuality || Asexual

AppearanceEye Color || Gold
Hair Color || Blue
Height || 5'10"
Weight || 138 lbs.
Tattoos/Markings || The signature red markings that rest underneath his eyes, but he always has them covered. Accepting they are a part of him but never broadcasting them.
Distinguishing Features || Often wears a white cloak that reminds him not to overdo eye contact when talking to others. At times when he needs to fight then he will remove the cloak to allow freedom in his range of vision.

PersonalityRather than trying to see the good in people, he looks for the bad. He feels that any wrongful actions someone takes is due to their nature. He won't accept that circumstances led them to do what they did. It was all on them. Abzu lacks social skills and empathy so if and when he is talking to someone, depending on the length of time that has passed, he may come off as blunt and curt. He usually keeps his responses short and lacking. Never really puts any thought into them and can be unfiltered on his opinions. Still a human with a heart he will feel regret for some things he has said and done but will hardly apologize for his wrongdoings. He feels as if he said it or did it he must have done it with a reason.

The cold man trusts no one besides his buddy, Kumo. He sees no need to try and be nice to others since they will either turn on him or that their time together would be short. Abzu believes that all human relationships will not last. Which formulates his thought process to think why he should try to invest some of his energy and time to others when they'll just leave him or worse, betray him.

With years of isolation and not much human contact besides enemies, Abzu has had much time for self-evaluation, and from those times he has determined himself to be a broken person. But he seeks no help in fixing him. In fact he feels that he should stay broken, after all that is all he has ever been. Any attempt to try and pry him open will result in heartache. He realizes that perhaps some help and companionship aside from Kumo will be healthy for him but so much fear resides in him from trying to open himself up to others. It's easier for him to be cold and mean to others. Now the only time he may assist others is when he can use his powers. While he may fear them he is also fascinated by them. The struggle he has to control them and try to master them makes him feel alive. After all it is also another part of him, and the only part of him that gives him a will to live. Curious and selfish, Abzu will do just about anything to figure out his abilities even if that means hurting others. The small part of him that is good though stops him from experimenting on innocent people which turns him to test it on people like bandits, murderers, assassins, etc.

Likes || Rain, any body of water, moonlight, flowers, sparring with others
Dislikes || Having to explain himself, apologizing, the heat, happy people
Quirks || When he talks he has the usual habit of taking long pauses in between thoughts, unless he is arguing with someone which then he can certainly spew out his sentences consistently. And he also has a very odd habit of talking bad about people to Kumo, especially when someone makes him mad and are standing five feet away from him. Times like that is when he will especially ramble to Kumo.
Fears || Death, losing to his powers, becoming someone he is not supposed to be, pain

HistoryThe village of Seiryuu, not a group of people who are fond of the idea of someone having the ability to see clearly and even to the point of paralyzing people. As soon as Abzu was born he was immediately judged and feared. He was cursed with the power of the blue dragon. His family were quick to abandon him in the nearby forest. The last thing they wanted was to be associated with the child who inherited the power of the blue dragon. Fortunately the man with the ability of the eyesight at that time found him. Although it was not really a surprise since he somewhat figured that as soon as the child with the power of the blue dragon was found they would find a way to isolate him. So Shiv became Abzu's caretaker. Both him and Abzu were shunned by the villagers, fellow people of the same blood. This was hard on young Abzu since he yearned to interact with others, especially once he learned that he had a twin. Turned out his parents had two children, one was cursed though and the other normal. It wasn't too difficult to see their splitting images.

This did not come as good news to Abzu's twin. Instead this caused him to hate him even more. Clanmates were beginning to fear even him, even though he himself was not the one with the eyesight. Akiyo, Abzu's twin, was quick to project his hate. Despite the elders telling him to stay away from Shiv and Abzu, Akiyo wouldn't listen for the most part and sought them out in order to demonstrate his hate towards Abzu. Constantly he would yell out nasty things and even attempt to throw objects his way. Akiyo was certainly turning into something completely different from the typical persona of the village.

Throughout the time of childhood and adolescence Abzu would try his best to ignore him. Shiv was a patient man that even tolerated Akiyo's actions from time to time, but he disliked the way he was attacking Abzu so he decided to teach Abzu some martial arts and some techniques with his twin hooks. Although Shiv was not only teaching Abzu these things because of Akiyo, Shiv was aware of the risk of having the blue dragon's powers. People who try and hunt him down for his power.

Shiv and Abzu's relationship was an odd one. Not much verbal communication was used yet there was a stable bond there. Abzu felt adoration and love for Shiv. He gave him a purpose to live, what Shiv did not tell him was that his powers were weakening as his were growing. This came as news to him when one day an army of men were coming their way. Abzu had never really fought anyone as he was 14 when they came.

It happened suddenly when a soldier was swinging his sword down towards Abzu. The young boy stood there frozen in place, not sure what to do. That was when Shiv threw himself in between the oncoming attack and Abzu. It was a swift death but one that shocked little Abzu. That day was the first time Abzu felt the true power of the blue dragon, neatly taking down the rest of the unit. Bloodied and broken, Abzu stood in the middle of a field filled with corpses. He looked up and found another figure walking his way. It was Akiyo. The insane boy was quick to brag about how he was the one who brought the army over. His twin was blinded by so much hate that he didn't see the potential threat he could have brought to the village. This angered Abzu. But what really brought him over the edge was when Akiyo said, "Well at least they got rid of one pathetic dragon." As soon as the words left his mouth, Abzu had met him with a single thrust into his chest from one of his hooks.

After that day Abzu decided to leave the village for good, although there was no sadness when he did so since he was shunned from them from the beginning. He was alone again, and this time for good until he came across Kumo. Abzu was about the age of 17 when he saw a small, helpless ferret who was running from the talons of a hawk. The boy was quick to intervene the hunt and managed to save Kumo from capture. He realized that the little creature was injured from his chase and decided to help heal him. It took some time but Abzu managed to figure out what the ferret needed to become healthy once more. When it came time to release him, Abzu expected the ferret to run free instead he chose to stay.

During the time he was alone, Abzu had continued to train himself and hunted down bandits, murderers, and criminals from time to time. He never settled onto one place and often chose to camp out in caves where he felt at home in the darkness, away from people and the light.

Theme Song ||

AbilitiesPower || Dragon Eyes: "With the eyes of the blue dragon, he has the ability to see long distances very clearly, being able to see people and objects miles away. When using the eyes' ability, he has the power to paralyze people when he looks directly into their eyes. His victims are then subject to fatal hallucinations. In extreme cases he can cause their entire bodies to stop functioning, including their hearts. However, he does not have full control over this power and will lose himself to the blue dragon's murderous willpower. When he finished using this ability, he himself becomes paralyzed as a result, making the power a double-edged sword." ( - Akatsuki no Yona Wikipedia,; Shin-Ah)
Skills || Not always wanting to rely on his eyes, Abzu has familiarized himself with some forms of martial arts. He prefers to fight close-range but will use some swordmanship with his twin hooks to fight multiple enemies at once.
Weapons || Twin medium-range hooks and a curved dagger

General Information

Name: Bai Yeung | Baba
Age: 21 years and 5 months
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 138 lbs
Hair Color: Green
Eye Color: Green

Personality
Bai is a woman missing a few pieces. Her default expression is that of disinterest, a permanent frown that rarely twitches even when she is seemingly laughing. Making facial movement other than a frown is rather difficult her, and because of this people often think of her as a gloomy introvert. However, she is not introverted nor is a she shy as Bai is willing to entertain most conversations no matter how dull or flamboyant the they may be. She can be rather blunt in phrasing her opinion which is either a blessing or a curse, she hasn't decided yet. Words do not come to her easily, so the ones that do often be the ones that tend to leave her mouth first.

She is generally a pacifist preferring to avoid violence if she can, but this does not mean she is unwillingly to fight back if threatened. Not easy to anger and having an oddly laid-back persona, Bai is capable of being serious although she doesn't like to since it takes too much effort to get into that state of mind. The fact that she finds it too much work to act out such emotions as rage and sadness makes her seem extremely irrational and an unholy amount of lazy, to both which she is. Bai is a simple woman who lives by her motto "Eat for today and sleep for tomorrow". Logic is lost on her train of thought half of the time. She does have some animalistic tendencies.

Tattoos/ Distinguishing Features
Bai has a large tattoo of a blooming lotus with a green dragon sprouting out from the center of the flower painted on her back. The dragon is strangely well detailed and has a vibrant green paint and piercing yellow eyes. She has no recollection of where she received it from, but is very agitated and or nervous when approached from behind.

Her distinguishing feature is the large green cloth (scarf) that she wear around her neck, a gift to her from one of the orphaned girls she lived with before starting the journey with Mei. Bai also has her trademark permanent blank expression that often makes her look disinterested.

Where the Past Meets the Present

    Biography
    Life before she met her master is somewhat hazy. She was born in the Village of Ryokuryuu, a small impoverished town where the villagers found themselves fearing outsiders more than they feared their dragon. The village did not treat their dragon as a sacred guardian and with the passage of time, they began chaining the green dragon successor in order to keep them from leaving the village. Bai had no recollection of her parents, all she knew was a small broken down shed and a chain grasped around her foot. She remembered being completely cut off from the village, sitting in silence as she awaited for someone, a man of the green hair similar to her own, was to bring her food. This man held no name and his face seemed like a void in Bai's memories. He was always there, but Bai felt a perpetual sense of loneliness despite his company. While in captivity she was docile. She didn't try to gain her freedom, didn't try to oppose those who found it easy to oppress her, she was like air. Invisible yet there. Maybe she understood the futility of her struggle, maybe laziness was something she had genetically inherited from her parents. She didn't know. All Bai knew was a shed in shambles, a chain, and a man without a name or face. The memory of her escape and what came after was a mystery. Bai didn't truly gain an identity until she met her master as the tender age of nine.

    An old shaolin monk, her master traveled from his monastery in order to explore the world of the Buddha. While traveling on a dirt path towards a village known for it's hot spring and spiritual connections to the Buddha, he found Bai lying in a large crater surrounded by herd of deer comprised of mostly doe with one or two bucks present. He would tell her how crazy of a sight it was. How the deer would buck at him if he attempted to approach her carelessly. It took him a few hours before he was allowed entrance to the hole she slept in. When Bai awoke, she had no knowledge of past events aside from the place where she was born and a faceless green man she could not name. She didn't even know where the large tattoo on her back came from. Her master then dropped her off in the Village of Springs, feeling obligated to find the child a new home and family not wanting to gain bad karma for leaving a child alone. However, that didn't work out the way he had planned as Bai behaved like a wild dog, scratching her ears with her feet, walking around stark naked, and having a unwarranted hatred for clothes in any shape or form. It was safe to say that Bai was an unruly little girl despite her otherwise docile nature. His attempts to find her a home ended up a failure and so he tried to teach her the ways of the Buddha and reintroduced her to society slowly, deciding it'd be best if he taught her how to live as a human before leaving her in another village.

    It took some time before Bai grew used to eating with utensils and not her hands, it took even more time for her to get used to wearing clothes. Overall, it was an insanely difficult task to get her to do anything that most humans did. All except for being still. When her master meditated, she copied him, taking on his form and following the flow of his breathing. He didn't think much of it at first, but soon she began copying his training regime. This appeared to be the only time which she seemed capable of listening. Not wanting to miss out on this opportunity he began teaching her the way of the Buddha. A combination of basic Buddhist teaching and teaching of etiquette eventually helped her develop into a decent human although her docility evolved to laziness. Around the age of nine when she had finally came into her humanity, her master found it was about time for the two to part. They set off for the next village, and after having negotiated with the village head, he said go bye to her in her sleep. However, a few hours after leaving, the trees began shake at the sound of thunderous drums beating in the distance. Her master was prepping himself for an ambush until he was tackled by an ravenous Bai from above, tears spilling from her face as her leg sat heavily on his legs, vibrant green scale glistening under the light of the moon. Bai had woken up in a panic, not being able to smell her master anywhere. Causing a huge ruckus, she took to the sky and tirelessly looked for the man who had abandoned her.

    After this, Bai informed her master that he could never leave her to which he reluctantly admitted defeat to a nine year old girl and the two became permanent travel companions. Over the course of ten years, her master taught her the ways of the shaolin sect of Buddhism where she trained continuously while slacking off in other areas of civilized life. Eventually, the two stopped travelling, her Master deciding that he'd like to settle down ad build an orphanage for children like Bai. So, the two started out small and soon created the Jade Orphanage which took in children without parents and taught them the way of the Buddha. She was head of the training facility seeing as her master had become to old to keep up with the children and became more of a teacher of the book than of the staff. They all lived quite peacefully until trouble began brewing from slave merchants followed by the entrance of a band of odd travelers.
