Main Cast:
Tamsin: Traveling bard, descendant of the Ineffable One and a source of pure magic.
Varick: Primal, de facto leader of the Primals, traveling for gold.
Drazhan: Primal, but now a mercenary.
Kirsikka: aka the Boreal Wind, war criminal and mage of the Ordo Sors.
Other Notable Individuals
Wydan: Visionary of the Ordo Sors, was assisting Kirsikka, now in the hands of the Council of Light.
Malina: Former student with Kirsikka of the Ordo Sors, now a vowed enemy of Kirsikka. Member of the Council of the Light
Deceased Notables:
Dravon: Oldest mage Varick knew, former lover and mentor of Kirsikka, died during the battle of Mont Pellinor. Is now undead; cursed to live out the rest of his natural life as a vengeful spirit.
Rolfe: Dead Primal, believed monsters didn't belong. Died in Geot Draath.
Sophia: Former lover of Drazhan, who made him feel normal. Died by hanging.

Zephyr: Kirsikka's horse.

Geot Draath: location of Primals training; a great battle by humans and monsters destroyed it; Geot Draath 2.0 exists
Jegslann: kingdom caught between fae and Trifflehem
Kheimon: birthplace of Kirsikka
Logaweirs: location of Ordo Sors Academy
Mont Pellinor: site of a great battle during the war against Trifflehem
Ordo Sors Academy: school where Kirsi trained
Pomachion: land beyond Elphyne that Kirsikka hired Drazhan to lead her to; once a human kingdom that mingled with the fae on friendlier terms, now overrun with monsters.
Ritherhithe: large city
Tresse: home of Calliope
Trifflehem: the people believed the world needed to be purged of impurities in order to get rid of the monsters; have conquered many lands, currently engaged against Jegslann.

Council of Light: The leading (and only) accepted scholars of magic. Followers of the Ineffable One.
Ineffable One: The God of the Council of Light and Trifflehem, the reason for Trifflehem's wars.
Primals: Monster hunters created by mages, unknown how it was done now, the process was lost.
The White Sun: Known by other titles, a figure from a story the elves have told, and many other peoples, about the origins of monsters, and the duality of light.
