served for four years, his experiences further distancing him from society. After delisting, he started a career in photography allowing him to
indulge in his love of travel and adventure. In two years, he has travelled to several locations around the world and captured images that few
have seen with their own eyes. When he heard the news of the impending impact, he decided to die doing what he loved and had sent up
camp in the woods. His last act in this life would be to capture the meteors on film, Maybe the images would survive.

Biography - Anna's life was pretty normal for the most part, though Brexit did mean that the UK still suffered from some trade issues even if luckily most were resolved by 2042. Since she didn't do too great at school and was pretty good at gymnastics she planned to go pro after secondary school. Those dreams unfortunately were dashed and while she continued to practice for fun she got a job at a retail store.

While Anna never got involved in any trouble herself she heard enough about women being harassed to convince her to pick up some martial arts training and while it required some budget shuffling picked up karate. At first she wasn't too interested in the Sleeper as she was sure it would just pass by without trouble but after March 30th she did start to worry, the fact that the impact was all but guaranteed four days after birthday was shocking and she basically quit her job the instant she heard it and enrolled in a basic first aid class so she could be somewhat useful if she survived.

Like many of her countrymen she left for the continent before August, not wanting to be trapped on an island and it was a good thing she did cause the Chunnel got destroyed by one of the fragments.

Biography - Mark was the child of a US Army Major with a family history dense with military presence. His father and by extension the rest of his family took great pride in their military service and expected Mark to follow in the family duty to their country. Mark had no qualms with this and for most of his life as a bright eyed, cheery youth he looked forward to the day he would serve his country. So excited was he that at the age of 19 he enlisted in the US Army rather than go to college, he served as a Cavalry Scout gathering Intelligence for his superior officers. He was very proud of his work considering himself vital to the field of battle. He continued this work until 2035 when he applied for and was accepted to undertake training for the 1ˢᵗ Special Forces Operational Detachment–Delta, commonly referred to as Delta Force. Mark spent most of his time in Delta Force assisting in Counter Terrorist and High Value Target capture operations. While he was committed to his role and was just as zealous in his work as ever he started to become disillusioned with the military and his home country. During his missions he saw parts of the world he had never known the good and the bad, he witnessed horrible acts perpetuated by man and even had to commit some himself. His last mission with Delta Force was only a couple weeks prior to the end of the war on terror in 2039. After some semblance of normalcy returned Mark left the Army and America seemingly disappearing even his family who had a close connection with him had little idea where he had gone with no contact being established at any point. He seemed to have truly disappeared, until 2040. At the age of 30 Mark Shamash established the PMC (Private Military Company) World Serpent the company had a strong start recruiting from the recently defunct Wagner Group and disgruntled former members of Academi now a shadow of its former self as Blackwater. The company introduced itself to the world by singlehandedly deposing a South American dictator kickstarting a civil war that ended in days with their help. World Serpent had quickly filled the power vacuum in the PMC industry, and by 2042 was a regular service used by the CIA hired often for tough clandestine missions. However, Mark did not do all this for money in fact very few other than his most faithful knew the purpose of World Serpent. Those grand plans were dashed however with the arrival of The Sleeper and as Mark weathered the coming storm in his underground bunker located in World Serpent HQ his thoughts weren't of fear of the uncertainty of the future, or despair and pity at the loss of life from such a cataclysmic event, not even anger at the potential loss of valuable personnel and trusted advisors, no. All he thought about was how this was an opportunity World Serpent would not waste.

Biography - Sam led a pretty easy life. There was a loving family with two younger biological siblings, four amazing (step)parents, and three more stepsiblings. Birthdays and holidays were never quiet of boring, for sure! She has a stable job as a graphic designer for a renowned international marketing company and an alright social life with her friends. And then the world ended.

Sam lived in The Netherlands, known to have conquered the water for many centuries. But not even the best dams can protect you properly against a tsunami. Especially when roughly 26% of your land is below sea level. A fair part of her country has disappeared under the water. What remains is some islands and some mainland that's being pelted with meteorites. Sam lost many people she knew and cared about. Mostly when the tsunami swallowed a quarter of the land. Others have just disappeared and she hasn't heard from them since. With no means to contact them, who's to tell if they're alive or trying to survive? Sam barely even made it herself. Although some stories say the Dutch know how to swim before they know how to walk, there's only so much one can do when a tsunami draws you deep into the sea. Sam saw a lot she doesn't really want to talk about. She's also terrified of being under water. Which is ironic, to say the least.

Biography - Claire grew up in Bronx, New York, where she had lived a modest but rough life with her parents who had spent most of their days outside of the house working their butts off to provide for their relatively large family, counting the four Redfield siblings (two brothers and two sisters, of which Claire is the oldest) who were known as their "Fearsome Four" in their neighborhood due to their love of all things mischievous. With the parents away and no nanny's that could keep the four of them under control, they had spent most of their time doing extracurriculars to keep them busy until one of their parents were home. This left the boys to their sports and Claire's sister with her art: but the oldest didn't find interest in any of those things, she liked thrills. The kinds of thrills that wouldn't be satisfied by sports (even the famed "Runner's high" wasn't enough to keep her going) with that, but what was of interest was the local Scouts troop. Survival training, mending clothes, cooking, tent building: the works. It was an awesome time, but once she got into high school Claire wasn't really interested in being a Scout Leader, what caught her attention more was the ROTC, which seemed to offer the same kind of excitement that the Scouts did when she was younger. She kept up with it for a while, but once the time for her to go to college started getting closer and closer, she decided she wanted to be a Fire Fighter. At the time, she hadn't been particularly ready for it yet, since you had to reach a certain age before testing and she didn't meet the education requirement. So what did she do? Train, train, and train. Working out was a breeze since she was already pretty fit from the ROTC, and getting a college education was the real toughie, so cramming became her best friend. Before she knew it, she had passed the preliminary tests and was essentially waiting for the process to take care of itself, before it happened. The Tsunami that blanketed the whole dang world, and left a mess no amount of training and education would have prepped her for. But she had to keep going, Claire had to make sure that her family was safe.

So finally finished reading everyone character sheets and all around a damn good job. You guys are really making this an exciting RP. Tons of diversity in the team strengths and weapon choices. We have a brainiac with a giant hammer, a super speedy flying archer, a master tactician in charge of a shadow organization, an ocean master who is scared of water, a firefighter who can take a beating better than superman, and a guy who takes pictures cuz he has no friends. fuck yeah! And your zord choices are amazing. I'm gonna post a bunch of general information in the chat tomorrow or the next day, and set up a lore page so we can post npc pictures and info bits.

Biography
Kenzo Julian Nishikawa, a ray of sunshine and yet a very dim light bulb. He is the last child of a roster of six and is seen as a failure by his extended family. Compared to his siblings he did not show an exceptional affinity to their family's methods and teaching, so he was shipped off to be with another failure, his aunt Hikari in New York. Hikari was married to Julian, Kenzo's father's best friend, and they were foster parents for many children. Hikari and Julian showed Kenzo unrestricted love that the Nishikawas wouldn't allow under their watch, but they were failures so what they did was irrelevant.

Hikari and Kenzo's ancestry had a very dubious history. Their connections and influence ran deep. The conversations around the Nishikawas were always positive, but the whispers spoke rumors of assassination and contract killing. The Nishikawas viewed Hikari & Kenzo's expansive empathy, compassion, and unwillingness to let go of their emotions as nothing but failures on their part. When Hikari & Julian opened their door to see Kenzo beaten and bruised their hearts broke. For Julian, this was the first time he saw the effects of the Nishikawas. For Hikari, this was just a trip back to the hell she was forged.

Kenzo's new environment allowed him to blossom. Hikari figured that it was a possibility that their family could come for them, either retrieval or execution. Hikari trained Kenzo, Julian, and the other kids. She put them through hell. Kenzo took a liking to Hikari's training lesson because it was more akin to dancing for him, but the training couldn't prepare him for a tsunami. When the tsunami came, Kenzo was at a loss for words and actions. Frozen from the shock of impact, the young man almost died immediately. The adrenaline kicked in to save himself, but he could hear cries for help all around him. He was worried about his family, but he chose to help the people around him first.
