"Hey!" Gakono leaped up and down like a toddler mid-tantrum. "Who invited you to the party?!" Leaves along his body molded in with his demonic design ruffled when he got back and insisted his Thralls follow him in suit. The four meddling Knights from before? How delicious of a feast they had bestowed upon him the last time they met. He rubbed his stomach mockingly at them all as the foolishly conversed. Humans talk far too much. But a lot of that talking leads to more discord, so chit chat away, wretched life forms! Shadoji forces held back for a minute and growled menacingly, a couple of Thralls already fallen!

Magical teleporting is not every teenagers ideal way to transport from one place to another however the two girls willingly accepted. Both of the mages' efforts succeeded in getting the girls over to them safely out of harms grasp. Chloe had not been quite as phased by being sucked into a glyph of magic, though Ingrid gave the impression she had certainly not expected that at all. Ingrid looked up at everyone as Chloe let go of her, both girls standing on their feet in front of the four Rangers. Jaw dropped and eyes wide, she barely got her words out. "You're the... You're the Power Rangers," she said. Looks like somebody keeps up with the word around town already. Fan girl moment? They all seemed to be more casual with Chloe somehow. Ingrid did not even pay attention to that! She's star struck!
"We're okay. You guys got here just in time," Chloe let everyone know. Vince waved to Ingrid to affirm that the bright suited people were in fact the Rangers. "You're safe now, miss. Um....miss-es, since there are two of you," he said. Smooth, Vince...
Chloe turned to Ingrid after she stared at the Rangers a bit. "Ingrid, we need to run while we still can. Go on ahead, I'll catch up with you," Chloe said softly to her. Ingrid questioned nothing and ran off, thanking the Rangers for saving her on her way with much gratitude! She was really so thankful! As soon as Ingrid was gone, Chloe spoke to everyone.
"You guys...you really came for me. I thought after me ditching after school today you'd be mad," she said. Vince sighed. And fully morphed, he hugged her. Feeling like a kid again when she was lost before. Vince just hugged her, Chloe did not hug back, though out of surprise.
"We were upset with you for not telling us you chose practice instead. God I'm just glad you're alright. None of that matters now." Vince sounded like a good older brother. Takes some warming up to, but he's genuinely a good person. And he loves his sister! Even if she's annoying as Hell sometimes. He let go of her.

"Yeah, sorry, guys... Honestly, I am. But this dude is bad news. He like feeds off of--"
"Discord, we know. Peter helped us figure that out. Our infighting before made him tougher. We learned from that, huh guys?" Vince asked everyone, a hint of joy in his voice. Everyone here was pretty cool, really. "Not only that--but you're okay, too. We were so worried," he said and implied everyone should say something too. Annoying as the girl is, she's a part of this team. No one gets left behind! Chloe smiled softly. "Hey, Chloe...where's all of the other kids?"
Chloe frowned at that question. "Long story short? They ran off. I guess they were so scared they didn't think straight. Sounds like what the demon wanted. If not for my new friend Ingrid, I would have been killed no doubt about it," she explained. Her friends abandoned her. But then came these guys to the rescue... Hmm. Vince shook his head... Chloe's friends just left her to die? Talk about cruel and unusual. Pricks!!!

"Blah blah! All of this cooperation makes me ill! I want to pound your goody two-shoes butts all the way to the darkest dimensions ever!" Gakono loudly interrupted. Thralls beckoned behind him with Zaken leading them. A lot of demons over there. Maybe Chloe should rest? Nope. Vince handed her her morpher and medallion. "I think you need these, sis," he told her.
Chloe smirked and took a stand in front of everyone. Ingrid stopped running a ways up ahead and looked back, taking cover and hiding. What the?
"Listen up, you loudmouthed fuck! You pushed me and my friends around enough. Time to teach you some manners. And we're gonna do it--together." Chloe inserted the medal into her morpher, hit the button and yelled "Divine Change!" alone. Bright yellow lights overcame her and she pulled the helmet on her head. Now morphed herself, she had everyone join her in line. "A Rogue's Undying Cunning! Divine Yellow!"
"A Warrior's Unmatched Strength! Divine Red!"
"Knights with Unbelievable Courage! Power Rangers D--" Vince started the group call alone but Chloe cut him off.

"Power Rangers Divine Knights!" She yelled, taking charge, much to Vince's uncomfortable surprise. Gakono sent Thralls forward to attack while he and the Disciple charge din from behind. Chloe signaled for everyone to follow her as she blindly ran ahead through Thralls straight for Gakono. "He's mine!" She yelled back at them.
Vince looked at everyone. Girl with the least training rushing ahead to the big bad of the day? Well then. He shrugged and grabbed his weapon, running ahead through Thralls for Zaken, inviting Raijah to accompany him. Better they do this together, now to reconcile from before. All in this together! He swept his massive blade of the Chaos Disciple's head while Chloe and Gakono collided!

Needless thanks from Chloe's interesting new hair-colored friend amused Braxton. People did not need to thank the or praise them for saving them. It is a Knight's duty. Public knowledge may deem the Knights as a myth so it is excused for them not knowing. However, Braxton--while not seeking it--did not mind in getting a 'thank you' from an adoring citizen. He bowed humbly for the young lady. "All in a days work, girls. Good thing you managed to stay alive as long as you did. We'll take it from here," he said to allow Chloe to take her friend someplace safe while they handled this mess until she got back. Only just now he'd realized his expectations for the spell met nothing less than expectations! Two points for the mages having brought the girls over to them in one piece. Then again Braxton never messes up a spell so half of that is sated. Mellany however... she did good, too. He's a little proud.

Scurrying away, Chloe's friend got someplace safe. Braxton watched her to examine if she needed more help. She seemed alright if not a bit shaken understandably. Fear such as this is why the regular world should never have forgotten about or denied current existence of demons. Maybe then people would fight rather than run and expect them to do all of the work. Nevertheless Braxton is not complaining. Fulfilling his destiny and protecting the peace, or as close to peace as humans can accomplish, is worthy enough. Also worthy is finally reuniting with Chloe, as irritating as she is.
"Chloe, being late or absent from our time does not entail we would see you punished with demons. As aggravated as I may be personally I am glad you are alright. You didn't get yourself or that girl killed, at least, so that is good enough," he said. Sounded like a compliment? Naive of her to think they would be so mad at her that they wouldn't come for her. "Nobody's left behind," he repeated what they all must have thought.

Resting his hand atop her head he assured Chloe it would be alright. That being said, he looked to the demons getting in the way once again. Seems though she already knows what Gakono is based on as far as demonic energy. Braxton looked around at the others and mentally reminisced about overcoming their own discord. God damned demons, always feeding off of the most savage parts of human nature. Savage parts of human nature also include teenagers. Said teenagers that came to mind apparently...left Chloe? Well that is an unexpected low. Even for the preppy jock types who care about hair gel and makeup more than human decency. The demon's blurting made his eyes roll. "Attacking children is a new low. Even for demonic scum such as yourself, Zaken," Braxton addressed the Disciple presently with earshot. He nodded to Chloe slightly, not acknowledging her as a mature person, but one who knows what they're here to do. He watched her morph, display her power, and then he aided in the frivolous role call.
"A Mage's Unparalleled Magic! Divine Blue!" Just as they'd went one at a time, Chloe took over the team announcement. Pointless as it may be, it was odd. Normally her brother leads that. He eyed her under his visor. What motivation. Reminded him of the time a classmate in Grade 7 put too much paint on a poster. Long story.

But then they were off to battle. "Mellany, let us exterminate the smaller pests," he said to the white mage, leading her into the fray of the Thralls. The teenager foolishly went off alone, and the brutish members chased the Disciple. Leaves him with the pathetic demons. Andero needs better lackeys to boss around under Dumanax' name. Standing at her side however, he charged in with Mellany at a shot of temporary unity and bolted lightning into the Thralls, setting them up for possible ice shards? Whatever it may be, he swept his staff to the chests of nearby scoundrel, handling a select few personally. If anybody is to take out the foot soldiers, it might as well be him.

Mellany looked at Chloe's new friend, noting the odd hair color. "Girl, your hair is awesome," she said, patting the girl on the arm before she scurried off. Might give her a bit of a confidence boost, and it was a well meant compliment. Mellany loved people who dyed their hair in funky colors. She couldn't do it when she was younger, and now she wouldn't do it anymore. But she appreciated the heck out of people who didn't care about others and expressed themselves. Also, she didn't mess up the spell! Yay! Although she didn't mess up that often, glyphs were more difficult to her than other kinds of spells. Braxton is proud of her, and she's proud of herself. Not that she knew Braxton was proud of her. Or cared about it. Still... teamwork! And annoying the demons while at it. All a big plus!

She glanced at the girl running for safety, smiling under her visor. Thank goodness everyone was okay. Mellany grimaced as she heard the other teens had left the two girls behind to die. Nobody does that! Especially not to a friend. What kind of friends were those teens? Oh, Mellany would slap the everliving shit out of those people! Really, she felt sorry for Chloe. Especially since she didn't even seem or want to realize her friends had fully consciously abandoned her because saving their own skins was more important. And this new girl, who Chloe had only just met DID stick around and helped her. That's a real friend, there. Mellany knew Chloe's situation well. Although she hadn't literally been left behind to die at the hands of demons, her "friends" too had abandoned her when she needed them the most. Stupid popular.... yeah, this brought back some nasty memories. If she had forgotten why she disliked the popular kids so much, now she definitely remembered it..

And someone else who didn't like hearing that news was Raijah. His cheerful eyes turned dark. Leaving behind a friend? Unforgivable. He clenched his hands to fists and trembled. Raijah didn't get angry quickly, but he couldn't stand injustice like this. Chloe was a friend. Friends needed each other. That's why they came back. Nobody gets left behind, ever. Even if they did something that made you upset before. You just forgive them and show them you still care by being there when they need you. You don't abandon them when things get dangerous. That's the moments you should stick by them! "They abandon you, they not friends," Raijah said. Something the others could likely all agree on.
"You're our friend," Raijah said, smiling as widely as possible under his visor. "Raijah never leave friend behind. None of us do."
Mellany nodded. "Exactly. We're just glad you're save."

Another something they could al agree on: Demons going down!
"A Rogue's Unending Dexterity! Divine Black!" Raijhah called. The words came easier now than the last time, but he still didn't quite know what it all meant. At least he transformed into a Power Ranger, so that was good enough! He had his daggers at the ready, eager to run in with Vince and go after Zaken. That demon was going to pay for what happened today! He was surprised to see Chloe charge off alone and wondered whether she'd be okay or not. He'd keep an eye on her just in case. Everyone would, right? If Chloe needed help, they'd give it to her. That's what friends are for, after all! He ran for the Disciple, swooshing his daggers at him.
"A Mage's Unwavering Willpower! Divine White!" Mellany called. Both were surprised to see Chloe took the lead of the rolecall. Usually that's what Vince does, right? Mellany shrugged it off. There were Thralls that needed some butt-kicking. And that task was up to her and the fellow mage in blue. "Shouldn't be too much of a problem," she nodded. As Braxton shocked the Thralls, it left a perfect opening for Mellany to go in and pelt them with tiny, sharp shards of ice. Take that!

Zaken scoffed at the Blue Knight. "My blade cares not whose blood it tastes, mortal." True, his sword would rather have the blood of a worthy enemy, but when those lacked, a simple other human would do just fine. The more innocent, the better. Standard demon protocol. Not that selfish, vain teenagers were innocent. Oh no. But the blood of the sinful was appreciated as well. Any bloodshed was good bloodshed, in his opinion. As long as it caused Chaos, Zaken would be happy. He readied his sword and waited for the charging knights to get closer, parrying the Warrior's blade before slashing the both incoming knights heavily across the chests.

Colliding with the discord freak head-on, Chloe jumped up and kneed Gakono in the head before pouncing off to the side like a panther. Or wildcat as the case may be. Demonic wailing came from the monsters mouth while the girl distanced herself enough to whip out her bow and hold its aim in his direction. Her knee hurt, now. That is just what she gets for ramming it into his face. Ouch, that's gonna bruise. And lead to some interesting stories if she wears shorts or skirts for a few days after this. Chloe fired an arrow toward Gakono.
He dodged, in turn firing a blast of his chaotic energy at her. Chloe jumped forward with newfound passion and determination, her second wind kicking in to guide her through the blast and out of the smoke to fire at him again. She landed an arrow on his torso, making him cry out in sparks and pain. She's just a cheerleader having a bad day and this is what she can do. Imagine when she isn't annoyed and tired.

"Blah! Stupid humans like you make it really hard for demons to take what is ours. Luckily, your fuel gives me power!" Gakono tried taunting her but to no apparent avail. Gakono's foliage ruffled and his scales on the body glimmered trying to absorb the Divine Knights' discord. Nothing was coming, however. Nothing on the surface was strong enough to fuel him any longer. He looked at his hands back and forth in a panic. "What is this? What happened to your discord???" He demanded and stomped his big foot on the ground, strumming his body angrily. Demons are not known for their good tempers.

Chloe giggled and stood up. "Too bad, Gakono. My friends and I here might have differences. But deep down, because we have to, we believe there is something good in all of us. We believe in each other. Or at the very least we care enough to shut up and work together. Not like..." she paused and tightly gripped the handle on her bow. Internally she thought about how Brooke and Jacob with everyone else left her to die to save their own skin. She understood the fear. But don't friends...especially lovers, always protect each other? Chloe got quiet and Gakono started laughing.
"Oh, hit a nerve, Yellow Ranger? Your peers do not care about you. You're nothing more than an ugly face in a world of discord!" He taunted.
Chloe snapped her attention on him. She fired one arrow. He deflected. Fired again. Deflected. Again. Hit. Again. Hit. Back and forth in a web of hits and misses. Chloe fought hard. But... maybe for something deeper. More than the duty she had. It's... hmm.

Admiring his sisters skills against the demon solo, Vince weld his blade to parry and handle the Disciple making trouble for he and Raijah. The massive sword proved easy to parry against as Zaken hit his and Raijah's chests. Vince stumbled back and used his blade as a crutch to lean on. Thinking about it some more, he and Gakono made a good pair. Chaos and Discord match. Like cookies and milk. Stale cookies and expired milk to be exact. Okay, cue a gag from Vince's subconscious. Next time he choose that for a snack he may think twice and check the dates on the packaging... Focus Vince focus! Battle! Vince split his great-sword into the long-sword and shield. Using his sword arm he locked arms with Raijah and helped him up. "Raijah, you think you can get the jump on him?" He asked the rogue, emphasizing 'jump.' "Follow my lead, wait for it, buddy," he said to him and pushed Raijah back for a second to charge at Zaken. He swung blades with him, blocking attacks with his shield.
"Your master must be pretty upset with you guys, always losing to us. By the way you and Gakono make a lovely couple. You guys get registered anywhere yet?" Vince had to jab at the Disciple and disregard his legacy. He faked an attack on Zaken to get him to bang the shield, allowing Vince to interlock blades with Zaken. He extended his shield arm to Raijah.
"Now!" He yelled. Ahh...a shield trampoline eh? That should be fun for this rogue to use! Zaken will regret ever getting out of the crypt this morning.

Excogitating is not a demon's strong point. Not if the demon in question is more the type for fighting and shedding blood. Oh that is right! All demons are the types for fighting and bloodshed. That is not generalizing or assuming anything at all. Truthfully put; all demons are evil. Sort of why they had earned the title of demons. That and whomever developed the English language put the letters d-e-m-o-n together and decided that in a particular order they sounded fruitful enough as a whole and slapped a pronunciation and definition onto it. Braxton is the only person to contemplate this as a horde of Thralls surrounds him and threatens to rip his limbs off one by one. Thank the power of magic for the lack of fear. He slammed the blade of his staff on the ground and bounced near Thralls in the air. "Now, be good tools and stay put," Braxton instructed them as he rained smaller bolts from the sky to bring down the floating Thralls one at a time.

Overhearing Chloe's monologue to Gakono, Braxton shook his head. Well listen at her. She sounds intelligent, as if she has more than followers on multiple platforms on her mind at all times. In truth the Knights are far from united. But in their cause of keeping the world safe they are one. He humbly agreed that together they were a lot stronger. Only as one massive force did they stand a chance. He believed everybody had their skill. Leveling higher some than others, of course. He is not so stuck in his thinking that he does not acknowledge this. Somebody has to remind everybody what they should improve on. Just he doesn't sugarcoat anything.

Thrall after Thrall came rushing in swinging their weapons down on him. Braxton's head moved out of the way as he spaced backwards, pushing their weapons back with his long staff and whooshing the weapon of magical influence around sweeping their faces. Andero's uniform soldiers would not look as uniform any longer. Using a glyph like before, he teleported himself down into the ground as a large group swarmed him. He reappeared in the air from a glyph and fired energy beams of light at the ground: lighting many Thralls ablaze with sparks and riddling them with magic. The mage landed and summoned the Divine Calibar in his left hand whilst wailing the staff in his right. To finish them off he twirled the staff around and distract the rest of his Thralls while going in for the kill with a collective slash of the blade. Down they go in a blaze of blue. "Pathetic," he commented on a job well done against such pitiful creatures.

Mellany smirked under her visor as Gakono once again tried to feed off their discord, this time finding out it was non-existent. Not so tough now, is he? And throwing a tantrum like that was just pathetic. Ah, demons.... the overgrown toddlers trying to destroy the world. No wait... some demons were actually intelligent and would brew clever and dangerous plans. Not this one though. She'd almost dare argue even the Thralls were, in a way, more intelligent. Sure, they didn't go much further than making random noises and doing as they were instructed by their higher-ups, but they didn't go around throwing tantrums. Mellany twirled her staff around, slashing the bladed end into the Thralls around her and finishing the horde off with sharp icicles.
"There we go. Much better," she commented. Demons were far better when they were harmlessly down on the ground, destroyed, or trapped in Hell where they couldn't escape. Anyone but demons and people wanting the darkness to win could agree on that.

Raijah overheard Gakono's taunts, and while they weren't aimed at him, he noticed he got angry at it. Peers didn't care about her? Well, that's wrong! Raijah knew he cared about Chloe. And her brother too. Mellany and Braxton too, probably, although they might not be as quick to admit that much. He watched her fight, admiring her skill. Chloe sure had learned a lot since they all started training together. Sure, she had things to learn still... but Raijah would be happy to teach her. Just as what he had done with the daggers. She had things to learn there too. Then again, she wasn't from the Oathkeepers, so perhaps their style just didn't suit her. He nodded at Vince's suggestion and waited for the signal.

Zaken clahsed blades with Vince over and over again, growling at the comments the Knight made. That nerve! Sure, he wasn't wrong in saying they had lost everything so far and that their master was disappointed, but still... the nerve! "At least we didn't lose our mentor on the first encounter," Zaken retorted. "You have to take orders from a sniveling child in order to know what you're supposed to do." Finally he thought to see an opening and strike, but the Knight blocked and.... used his shield for the rogue to leap into the air on...? What was the meaning of this?!

Raijah didn't hesitate a moment when Vince called, running towards him and using the shield to leap high into the air. He tossed the throwing daggers he had used before, throwing them down at the Disciple, quickly spinning around upon the landing behind him to slash his daggers into the demon while he was still stuck in the attack with Vince. Take that, foul demon!

Finishing what Raijah perfectly executed, Vince go behind Zaken and kicked him in the back to launch him fair across the area into a nearby wall. So much for the powerful Disciple of Chaos. The only real chaos he brings is how chaotically they've beat the crap out of him so far! Vince high-fived Raijah before reconnecting his weapons into the greatsword mode, resting the tip if the blade down on the ground while watching Zaken struggle out of his Zaken-shaped dent in the wall. That little business is not going to be happy about that, but who cares about collateral damage? "Had enough?" Vince teased the Disciple.
"Might wanna run while you still can. It looks like my sister's already about to beat your monster anyway, loser," he taunted. Take the hint and exit stage right, Chaos Disciple! Grawr!

Arrows dipped into Gakono's body with grace as Chloe fought for much more than herself. Proving something and working out a lot of anger. Anger over her friends, built up stress over time, and relationship stuff she knew she had to confront. New powers gave her the courage to fight, however. Power to protect herself and others. Powers she would have at one point exploited. During the fight she saw Ingrid hiding behind cover watching the whole thing. She probably saw the whole morphing thing? Ah well. There goes the secret Peter warned her to keep. But Ingrid reminded her of what she would do with her power. She would use it to stop bad guys. Plain and simple! Gakono still went on and on with nonsensical stuff, saying what;s already been said. Chloe fired an arrow to shut him up!
"Guys, Peter here," Peter said following a call on the Divine Cellulars. Chloe and Vince both flipped theirs open to listen. "I have just about enough power for the new medallion. But to really work it I have to have direct contact with a bard's melody or something. Anyone happen to know a good singer?" Booyah! Chloe's mind went off like a flashbulb! Okay maybe she isn't perfectly thinking of what a bard is and maybe she's thinking too fast. But she had the perfect idea. Without a word Chloe ran to Ingrid.
Ingrid stared at morphed Chloe in yellow spandex and partial armor! "Chloe is that..."
She nodded at the wide-eyed girl. "It's me, Ingrid. Listen, there isn't a lot of time to explain. But...sing into this!" She extended her morphed flipped out to Ingrid. She tilted her head. Peter was baffled by hearing Chloe just give this to a strange girl? "Trust me!" Chloe told her new friend. Proving she can be trusted, Ingrid began singing a random but soft song into the morpher. Peter started seeing something happen! It's working!

Chloe grinned. Gakono rose up and spat. Then Chloe stopped grinning. While Ingrid sang her song, she knew they had to end this. Chloe fired a knockback shot from her bow to Gakono's back and launched him at the others. "Take him!" She yelled to the other four knights.
"Well...Chloe's got the idea," Vince said and ran in with Raijah, slashing his weapon on one side of the demon while the mages blast with magic!

Gakono fell from the attack sparking up and rolling around. At that moment, the team regrouped. Letting her lead, Vince just followed Chloe's movements. She withdrew her Divine Shooter, as did Vince. All five blasters out, she aimed it forward, Vince getting on a knee in the front while three others stood at the back. Gakono shouted. "I am Discord! Humans are petty by nature! You can not--!"
"Blessed Blast! Fire!" Chloe shouted at the very top of her lungs and fired with her team. The five blasts formed into one big one--shooting Gakono down and making him explode! He erupted in flame and screamed as he went down. Vince smirked under his visor and patted Chloe on the back. "Ya did it, sis" he complimented her. The girl just smiled softly and caught her breath. She fought for so much today. Ingrid could still be heard singing in the background, trying to focus on helping Peter with her eyes shut tight to avoid seeing the monster going boom!

But then, just as they beat him...Gakono was back. His second life spawned and he returned as a giant. "I am Discord!" he shouted and stomped the city. Ingrid's singing could reach his ears. "What dreadful noise! I will silence that peaceful tune forever!" He threatened. Now as a giant he wants to kill Ingrid! Just one step and squish!
Vince looked up at the giant and clenched his fists. "We won't let that happen," he said. Using his morpher, he hit 2 on the keypad and summoned Stallion! Chloe then summoned Wildcat, never mind Ingrid having her morpher. Luckily, morphers are neutral for use! Kinda? The Mounts showed up through magic, growing and morphing into their giant armored forms. Jumping up into their Mounts in the solo control spaces, the entered the pieces. Stallion neighed and galloped across Gakono's feet. The demon hopped around in pain, holding his feet! Chloe waited far back, pouncing Wildcat up onto a rooftop of a tall building. "Steady, girl, steady." Chloe had a plan. Shocking coming from her! Wildcat hissed and nodded. "Hope you know what you're doing, kid! But I'm with ya!"

What the blazes is Chloe doing with that eccentrically-haired girl now? Poor thing looked harmless enough but she shouldn't be interacting with her during a fight. At least wait until they have set this aside and dealt with the discord demon. Seriously what is the deal with teenagers? Braxton himself was not a teen too long ago but it had felt as if teenagers dramatically changed since he last bore the '-teen' suffix to his age. Thralls went down easy as expected. Numbers aside the general foot soldiers never put up a fight to someone as trained and able as Braxton. Magic is a powerful weapon in the hands of those it chooses in this world. Luckily he has it.

Captivated by hearing that beautiful, absolutely beautiful singing voice, Braxton. "My god, she's fantastic," Braxton commented as the more trained Knights banded as one. "But... Peter needing a bard's direct melody. Surely this is not what he meant?" Braxton asked the others, unsure of this so-called plan of Chloe's. Not bad for thinking fast but this just felt silly at best. Maybe he would be fooled and this could work. Or the girl is just singing for no reason and making everyone's ears happy for a short time. Positively, Braxton did approve of Chloe's action against Gakono. The girl had a fire in her, one that would not bee soon dampened. Something very strong is fueling her at the moment. Whatever it my be, he's glad it's working. Maybe the girl is not so incompetent after all? Hmm, wonder wonder. Fluidly he projected a bolt of magic into Gakono behind Vince and Raijah along with Mellany. He didn't even try and a huge burst of power escaped his weapon. Try giving him a challenging task.

Using the blaster pistol like all others, Braxton shrugged aside and silently went with Chloe's lead. Assuming this girl knows how to lead more than a small cheer squad form time to tome, that is. "Blessed Blast! Fire!" He squeezed the trigger in line with his comrades in the back still standing. Gakono fell following their attack. Marvelous. "I have to say I am slightly impressed. Kudos on not getting yourself killed by charging in like that. But please do try to be less reckless next time. You'll become your brother, or worse, one of them," he said and gestured to Black and White. Braxton...that has to be a compliment to Chloe right? Has to be. IN his special snowflake kind of way? Maybe? Giant Gakono interrupted that. Splendid timing, these demons have here.

"We have to protect the girl," he announced. Hitting 2 on his morpher, Wolf ran in along the other Mounts from home and changed into giant-armor-wolf mode. Merging with his canine companion, Braxton exhaled inside of the beast's conscious.
"Do not relieve yourself on the big red building in the distance, please. It isn't a fire hydrant," he said to Wolf.
"Hey don't blame me! I haven't gone in so long! And I need to go now!" Wolf replied to him. Sigh. "Also I want bacon later!" Another weary sigh. Mage and dog make for quite the questionable duo. But this is working suitably somehow. Together, the mage had Wolf leap up and chomp right on Gakono's shoulder, sparking him up with lightning in the process and hopping down with a growl.

Raijah enthusiastically high-fived Vince back. They did it! The Disciple was now stuck in the wall, leaving a hole shaped like himself. He held his daggers at hand, keeping a stance ready to strike like a viper if the Disciple would attack again. "Go to Hell," Raijah said to Zaken. He had heard Mellany use that phrase a couple of times. And Hell was where the demons came from, right? So essentially he was just telling Zaken to go back where he came from. Like Vince! He was also telling the demon to run while he still could!

Speaking of Zaken... the Disciple was not amused the Red Knight and his Black Knight friend had bested him again. And Dumanax would surely not be happy either. Oh, the punishment that awaited... The comments the other Disciples would have for him, even if they hadn't fared any better... Zaken would train endlessly. He wouldn't let the Red Knight embarrass him like that again. The day would come where he would obliterate that knight, and then the rest would soon follow. For now, he chose to retreat. After getting back up from being slammed into a wall, Zaken teleported himself back to the Castle.

"What in the...?" Mellany turned to watch Chloe run off to the girl with the awesome hair. What happened with the keeping their identities secret? And keeping the innocent out of harm's way? With the Discord Demon still running freely, Chloe really should stay away from the civilians unless it was to protect them from an attack. Yeah, she could understand Chloe was upset her friends had abandoned her -anyone would be- and she appreciated the new girl for sticking around and being brave when others abandoned her, but... What the hell is she thinking?!

Both Rogue and Mage froze as the girl started singing. Her voice was just amazing!
"This might be one of those rare few times where I don't hate agreeing with you," Mellany said as the four regrouped.
"Peter asked for singer," Raijah said to Braxton "That girl is singer." Had.... Had Raijah just more or less outsmarted Braxton again? Mellany grinned. "That he did," she commented. Perfect timing for that girl to be around just when they needed someone who could sing. This might just be fate. Or is it? Both then turned their attention to Chloe unleashing her fury on Gakono. Whatever it was that kept her going like that, they wouldn't complain. The sooner this demon would go down, the better it would be. On Chloe's call, Raijah dashed forward with Vince, slashing his daggers into the demon at any angle he could get. Like a nest of angry snakes! Mellany in the meantime sided with Braxton, focused for a moment, and released a bolt of arcana magic on Gakono.

They then follwed her lead in taking out their blasters. "Blessed Blast! Fire!" And down goes the demon.
"Better than ending up like you," Mellany commented after Braxton's snarky backhanded compliment or sorts. It was true, right? Better to be someone who knows how to have fun and dive into the adventure face first rather than to be a stuck up prick who can barely even smile and mean it. Raijah just looked back and forth between the three, completely missing the point of the conversation.

Gigantified Gakono quickly put an end to any celebratory moods. The Knights nodded, quickly pressing the #2 on their Cellulars, calling their zords to their aid. Deer and Bear appeared, changing into their larger armored forms, ready to defeat the Discord Demon for the second time.
"After we take care of this noisy thing, I definitely want snacks. And belly rubs," Bear announced, fairly similar to Wolf in a way. Raijah grinned and chuckled. "Raijah too. Just snacks. Raijah not want belly rubs. But Raijah will give Bear belly rubs, okay?" Bear agreed with a loud roar.
Mellany chuckled at the little scenes between Wolf and Braxton and Bear and Raijah. Yet she could feel Deer just gave as much as an eye roll, if she could. "Sometimes I feel as if Stallion and I are the only responsible ones here. And the same can't be said for our counterparts."

"In my heart I know,
together we can go,
to the island where she sings,
no matter what it brings,
trust me this I see,
she's still a part of me..."

Eyes shut and mind focused, Ingrid sang this song. Gently her voice channeled into the rune Peter had been crafting. In the Lair he looked at the medallion began to glow from contact with what is in this case a bard's melody. Magic at play here deemed this medallion worth forging to Peter's delight. Before his very eyes something miraculous had begun. As if it were forging...on it's own? Just keep singing, Ingrid!
---
Counteracting the beautiful song being sang down below, the Mounts have Gakono a real zesty fight. Gakono flailed around and snarled, using longer foliage bits on his arms to whiplash Stallion and Deer. The horse neighed and trampled backward. Such unity and ability to be one team is sickening. Nothing about the human race made any sense. It took a big threat to even make them consider acting as a while unit rather than as individuals.
"Your stupid race is nonsensical. Demons represent order and purpose. You just squirm together when it is convenient, your discord is what makes you weak!" He shouted at the Knights and fired a big blast of his sonic energy to Wolf and Bear to know them back. He snarled and huffed some more, swatting around at the surrounding Mounts. But one is missing. "What is this? Where is..."
Vince looked up behind Gakono and smirked underneath his helmet. Cunning certainly is his sisters attribute. Stallion stabilized while he taunted the demon a bit more. "Sure we fight sometimes, but we aren't nearly as unintelligent as demons like you are," he told him. Gakono snarled and tilted.

On the prowl up above, Chloe and Wildcat readied to pounce like a panther. Well... like a wildcat would be more appropriate to say, here. Now! Chloe synced with Wildcat in her head, forcing the feline to leap forward and down with claws extended. "Up here, the flying cat!" Gakono turned around and threw his hands up in defense.
"N-n-nice kitty! Nice kitty!" He pleaded and yelled. Silly demons. Begging is for kids. Wildcat's claws landed on him first, clawing down Gakono's body and eviscerating him with every scratch and slash. Hissing because she could, Wildcat topped it off with a bit slash across the demon's face before pouncing off and joining the others. Every scratch and every claw mark was to both damage the demon but also work out bits of inner rage Chloe had built up for so long. She knows what she fights for now. And Gakono is in the wrong place at the right time, staggering about.

"Combine!" Chloe shouted. Vince smirked. "You got it, little sis," he said and hit #3 on his morphers key pad. Like before, the Mounts joined together as one giant robotic Knight, the Knights sharing the control space again in their marker pieces. Chloe felt cozy sharing her piece with Raijah!
"Grand Knight Megazord!" Vince remained in the middle, rogues and mages on his sides. "Alright, Gakono. You're through ruining my day. Give 'em all we got!" Chloe tried sounding in charge. Vince played along, but definitely had to not chuckle. Chloe's not an authoritative person... But this is for her to grow. The Grand Knight moved forward to start combat.
Gakono snarled. "This is going to be easy, the colors on this thing just scream discord!" he said. Hey, why he gotta hate on the colors? He clawed across the torso of the Megazord, Chloe making Wildcat knee him in the gut, only to be replied with a hard punch to their Megazord's chest. Sparks flew and she tried keeping steady, Vince holding on. Anyone with a plan should do it now!

Wincing like a true doggo Wold held on tight on sonic pressure, lowering his head and tumbling over what to do to tear this demon apart! Sonic rays and canine ears did not mix. Consider this the Zord equivalent to a dog whistle. Unpleasant for doggo Zord! Highly unpleasant experience going on over here! In the middle of the Wolf's recovery Braxton scoffed to the monologue. A true trope of any villain is to monologue as if the protagonist of the story truly gives a damn over what he or she has to say about anything. In a couple of minutes he will be ashes anyhow, what is the point of this muttering? "Rambling seems to be your only true talent," Braxton said mostly to himself, projecting it at Gakono. Seriously this demon is testing his patience. Patience... another thing testing it is that girl. Where in the blazes is she?

Speak of the devil or any antagonistic holy figures! Chloe swooping in off of a building caught him by surprise to say the very least. Excellent form, if not a bit careless. One mistimed jump and she could end up flattening a small business in Westfield into a pancake. Granted a very rubble-infested pancake, but a pancake nonetheless. Goodness, perhaps Braxton had not really gotten enough at breakfast this morning. Pancakes, pancakes, yum pancakes.
Cringing under Chloe's shouting, he sighed. "Taking orders from a teenager now, are we? How promiscuous..." he shared. Promiscuous as in the basic version of the word meaning an unselective approach, not the sexual connotation. That is an entirely different ballpark. As well as inappropriate.

Locking in with the others, Braxton and Wolf combined into the grand formation from before. "Grand Knight Megazord!" Announcing the title of the marvelous figure seemed appropriate. It will be the last thing Gakono ever sees.
Chloe trying to be a leader is admirable at best. To Braxton it is just silly. Shaking his head and grabbing at his forehead through the helmet, he stood in his shared piece with Mellany just sighing and shaking his head away. "Not incompetence, this time. Just... Good Lord let's do this and be done," he said. Slaying time for this demon. Parrying the punch coming at them, Wolf lunged its jaw, the Megazord's fist, into Gakono's face, "Static Swing," Braxton declared upon the punch hitting Gakono, charging with lightning to add a little flare to this attack.
Punching is not the Knightly way of doing things but neither is this whole Ranger deal.

Deer staggered upon being whiplashed by the foliage, kicking her front legs up into the air. As for Bear.... Bear fell and rolled back when the sonic blast hit him. "That hurt!" the big bear called out. Hurt his ears, hurt his pride. Would have hurt the res of him too if he wasn't in an armored form. He quickly got back up. From the cockpit Raijah checked whether they had accidentally squished a person or building. He would feel very bad if they did! Thankfully, he saw nothing and focused on the loud annoying demon in front of them again. "You will pay for that," he said. That being... exsisting, pretty much? He hurt Chloe, he hurt the Zords... So now it was payback time.
"Oh I am all for punching this ugly demon right back to where it came from," Mellany said, slamming a fist into her other hand inside the cockpit. Weren't mages supposed to be against physical violence? What's with her sometimes acting like a rogue and now speaking like a warrior? Deer shook her hed. She truly didn't understand her. Again she wondered if maybe something had been mixed up, and her Knightly counterpart was supposed to be Braxton instead. This girl was nothing like her ancestors before her.

While the rogue and the mage did what they could to keep off the demon, one might wonder where that second rogue was. Surely she wouldn't just disappear and abandon them? Especially not after what had happened today. But there she came swooping in. With... a cat's grace, one might say. One majestic jump with sharp claws later, and Gakono was begging. how sad. Chloe definitely had the right idea though. Time to combine and finish the demon off.
"Cut it out on the big words and use normal English instead, please? We don't want to grab a dictionary for every sentence you speak," Mellany said to Braxton. Not giving Gakono any discord though. She was still working just fine alongside everyone else.

Pressing the #3 on their Cellulars, Raijah and Mellany conbined Bear and Deer with the others, forming the one and only... "Grand Knight Megazord!"
Raijah patted Chloe's back lightly, smiling at her under his visor. After taking down Gakono that first time and pouncing a second time... she seemed to be feeling at least somewhat better. Good. He didn't want his friend to be upset, after all. "You okay?" he asked her still, though. When you have to learn the people you thought of as friends were bad people... in the way she did... that would make anyone upset. Heck, it made him upset and it wasn't even about him! Why... why did it make him upset though?

"Once again... one of the few times where I don't hate to agree with you," Mellany said. "High time we finish this off." A Static Swing would be perfect to follow up with a nice attack from Deer.
"Freezing Graze," Mellany called, Swinging the Megazord's other arm. Deer's Antlers glowed white and emitted a cold chill, grazing Gakono right across the chest. Take that, foul creature! Punching may not be the Knightly way to do things, but if it worked, it worked. Plus, they were fighting demons. Being all fair and Knightly didn't always work out then. Gotta go with whatever works. In this day and age, that's punching, technology, and being clad in brightly colored spandex!

Heaving over being bludgeoned multiple times with magic and claw attacks, Gakono furiously pelted Grand Knight and the city below with droplets of his energy erupting sparks and smokey mists all over the place. Westfield got a taste of what it is like to be protected by colorful youths. Through the infighting and the disagreements, the Knights set aside their discord and agree to work as one. Five as one, until their king rises again, shall be what stands between peace and chaos. No way their personal feelings will get in the way or protecting the innocent.
Being innocence incarnate, Ingrid finished her song up with a gentle whole note, humming softly to the opposite affect of a big battle taking place before her.
---
Peter shielded his eyes from what was happening. It's... it's.... done! "Ingrid, you did it!" he praised. She smiled on her end of the line, thankful to have been of help. Singing to help the Power Rangers might not have been on her agenda for today but she certainly is having a good memory being built up! Bravely she kept up her demeanor even as Gakono rampaged on. Rubbing his eyes, Peter picked up the completed medallion. Just like the others, it had silver etchings of an animal on it, and its unique color is pink. Color means nothing to heroism! He tried making out what animal it was on the medal, squinting as it was a rough idea of an etching for this one. But this medallion was infused with the power of a bard. Ready to be of use!
---
Inside of the cockpit as the battle went on, Chloe looked at Raijah while Vince summoned their saber. "I'm fine. I just want to wreck this demon a new one and save the city," she said softly. Deep inside she was really hurting. But she couldn't afford feeling that way now. This has gone on long enough, it's time to end the wrath of discord once and for all. Divine Knights never gave in to personal sorrows, right? Not in a fight anyway. Something along those lines...
Vince worked the saber to strike Gakono. "Alright guys, Divinity Slash!" He led the team. Chloe nodded and prepared to attack Gakono as the demon eyed Ingrid on the ground about to crush her like an ant. Charging with light energy the sword had run down Gakono and---what?! Gakono caught their sword and laughed.
"Ha! You don't think this pokey piece of metal can slay me?" Gakono teased. Vince and Chloe braced for impact as Gakono followed up with a point blank shout of sonic discord energy. Sparks flew from Grand Knight, the big formation stumbling back as Chloe screamed, sparks inside the cockpit! "It is over, Divine Knights. Discord always triumphs over men. Even now you can't seem to fully focus! You're history!" Gakono taunted.

Always, huh? Discord is a powerful thing but it does not always conquer. "Everybody focus," Vince clenched his fists and eyed Gakono back. An alert rang on the cellulars. Flipping his open, he put it on speaker mode. "Sup Peter?"
"You guys, I have great news. The bard medallion is finished. You can use its power to combine with your Megazord. If I'm right, it should boost your power and give you a new weapon against Gakono," Peter assured them. Vince widened his eyes in disbelief. "A new weapon for the Zords? Can it be that strong?"
"Yes, Vince. Hold on, I'm sending it now! I think it'll being some harmony to the discord," Peter sent it, indeed. He forwarded it to Ingrid, who watched it appear from thin air in front of her very eyes. She took it and smiled, stepping out of hiding. "Rangers! Catch!" She yelled loudly and tossed the new medal up to the cockpit. Let's say magic made the thing fly, otherwise Ingrid should really consider being a pitcher for baseball.

Chloe caught it and showed it to everyone. "Wow, look at that!" She announced with enthusiasm and clapped her hand on Raijah's arm. Her morpher came back to her, as well. She opened it up, the #4 key twinkling with light. Inserting the new pink medallion into it, she hit #4 and closed it up. "Bard medallion, please help us in our time of need." Chloe pleaded and hit the main button.
Gakono taunted more and more, ready to attack while Grand Knight recovered. Ruffling noises emerged in the city. From a realm, possibly the Realm, a pink light came over the area. Gakono gazed out, as did the Rangers. TO the rescue, the power of the bard? A warthog. A big, pink, armored up warthog Mount. It oinked and oinked as any piggy would. Chloe tilted her head. "A... pig?" A pig is a bard?
Vince was confused too. Can't be right. Gakono laughed. "This little piggy went to Hell!" he said and blasted at it with energy. The warthog oinked and a harmonious sound deflected his attack. Stunning him, the warthog then rammed its tusks into Gakono's leg and oinked harmoniously again! Sparks erupted from him, such a lovely oink!

"Big words are part of the English language. Now do be a dear and shush, lest we fuel the discord even more," Braxton remarked to Mellany as she so ignorantly drew out on his choice of words. Shouldn't focusing on the task at hand be her bigger priority rather than... breathe, breathe. This is what Gakono wants them to do. Bicker. Give in to Discord to empower him enough to take over the city, the world, and destroy life as they know it. Braxton would rather gargle liquid nitrogen than succumb to the will of a demonic bastard. Instead of further bickering with her, he rather complimented her attack. "Well done, Mellany," he stated to her after the freezing graze attack with Deer's antlers. Working together in harmony as it should be.

Finalizing the demon and putting an end to this madness, Braxton agreed on using their finishing attack. Hands high and mind focused he called out "Divinity Slash!" and watch as their blade gloriously cut down that wretched--! What?? Blocking and countering their attack? Impossible! Not even a scratch on him! Braxton gasped as Gakono blasted them, sparks flying everywhere making him hold on to the piece coming up with a new plan in his mind. "Nothing should be able to withstand that blow. Perhaps Dumanax' demons are stronger than the last encounters?" Braxton pondered with chilling realizations. If this did not work what would? They would soon see who was on the side of being history.

Just as he slammed his fist in frustration Peter called them. Perfect timing. "Curiouser and curiouser," Braxton stroked his chin at the mention of it. Spectacular that the new medallion is complete. Powerful enough to combine with the Zords and forge a weapon? Bards aren't entirely known for their weapons however. Curious, indeed. This was a matter of faith, it would appear, seeing that their strongest attack had no affect. Eyeing it all the way from Ingrid's toss to Chloe's hands he witnessed the pink medal. "Marvelous," he said. Maybe this will give them an upper hand on Gakono?
Jaw droppingly shocked... Braxton stared out into the distance. Chloe summoned this new power. It had to be because it was her of all people summoning it, no way it is... a hog? Swine? Pig? Horrendously uncooked bacon? This had to be a mistake, if he had been the one to call it it would be much more effective in appearance. Monsters mocking them now? He would mock him and his allies too, in this case. Of all things a pig? Incompet--
Hold a moment. Oinking a harmonious force the hog deflected a blast? And it... hurt him! "Stupendous..." Braxton stared in awe at the new Mount.

"Relax, I was only joking. Well... half, anyway," Mellany said, suppressing an eye roll. Didn't want to fuel the discord, after all. But seriously, Braxton really ought to loosen up from time to time. "And thank you. Your attack wasn't bad either," she responded to the compliment. Working together and at the very least pretending they could get along would be what they needed to get rid of this demon. Just for long enough for him to be destroyed. Then it's right back to the usual behavior! Probably. Maybe they'd learn something from this all. Not that they'd all suddenly be the best of friends once this all was over. Definitely not. They were just all way to different for that. Ah well, as long as they'd just work together well enough to not fuel Gakono with any more discord, things should work out!

Raijah could tell Chloe was hurting. Strong instincts, ya know? But he could also tell she really did want to destroy this demon. They all did! But she more than the rest of them, and for good reason, too. "Once this over, Raijah give hug, okay?" he asked. Hugging always made people feel better. Except Braxton. He never wanted hugs... But maybe Chloe did want a hug, after those teens she thought were her friends abandoned her right in the face of danger.

The two nodded as Vince called for the final attack. Time to take care of this wretched demon at last. "Divinity Slash!" they both called out, watching the blade smoo--... wait.... Gakono caught the blade. HE CAUGHT THE BLADE! The two held on tight as the Megazord stumbled backwards and their cockpit started to spark. That's never a good sign. Sparks are only good when it's their opponent. "It would seem so. Makes sense, really," Mellany replied. Of course something created by the worst villain in history is more powerful than something created by a lackey. Even if it's a General... Or Disciple. Whatever you name it.
"Raijah did not like that," Raijah commented, shaking his body. Megazord stumbling, Zords being hurt, and a demon still standing. Nothing to like there, except the part where they weren't destroyed just yet.

As per usual with these things, Peter called them just in time. Ingrid's singing had worked! They now had a new medallion and extra help to call on! A new weapon ready for them to use. A bard's weapon... huh, that ought to be interesting. Was it going to be like a flute they could shove up Gakono's... That's what Mellany wondered, anyway. Raijah's mind first went to drums and beats for battle. Percussionist, eh? He smiled at Chloe under his visor and patted her back again. Look how happy she is about a weapon to destroy an evil demon! He's a little proud, and they're not even related. They are friends though, and those are just as important as family.
"It's a..." Mellany started, looking at the new zord in confusion, slightly tilting her head.
"PiGGY!" Raijah called, equally confused, but exited. How was a pig a bard, though? They aren't that pretty to look at, and when you think of harmonious sounds, the oinking of a pig definitely wasn't the first thing to come to mind. And yet that's precisely what happened there. A harmoniously oinking pig, deflecting the sonic blasts and successfully attacked the demon. How in the...?

"Just kiss and get it over with?" Vince joked slightly to the bickering/co-op mages under the amusement of a pig of all things being their savior in this time of need. Oinking is not a harmonious sound yet as insane as this sounds in concept, the practice is amazing! As harmonious as it is ridiculous!
Rolling with the punches, Chloe smiled softly under his visor to Raijah but shook her head to redirect attention on the think in front of them.
Peter chimed in once again through Vince's speaker phone. "I present to you guys the Divine Warthog Mount. You can use it to drown out Gakono's discord!" Peter told them. The Warthog oinked agreeingly with its little head held high. Gakono growled at the mysterious new player in the game, still recovering after the attack on his evil power.

Warthog oinked its way over to Grand Knight. "Divine Knights! Let's rock this fool!" Warthog can speak, as well! Mounts had that magical aspect about them. Warthog's voice, a feminine one, sounded similar to Wildcat, only edgier and like she has sang a lot in her day. Chloe nodded, smiling widely. Vince did as well. "Talking pig? Not surprising," Vince interjected under his breath. Flipping the morpher open again, Chloe too, Warthog's advice and hit #3 and #4, closing it up and hitting the main key. Warthog flew up in the air, its head detaching to form a new helmet for Grand Knight, its body turning into a weapon. Or an instrument rather. A lute! Grand Knight now stood with a new pink helmet and the pink lute in its grasp. The Warthog symbol appeared in the back of the cockpit. Newly formed combination has arrived! "Rhythm Knight Megazord! Roooock on!" Chloe shouted alone. Vince hadn't named this form...nor had Peter...Chloe apparently had chosen it's name.
"Rhythm Knight? I like it," Vince commented. "A lute? So an old-timey guitar? How is this...ahh, roll with it," Vince said.
Gakono laughed. "Ha! A battle of the Megazord Bands is this? You fools will bow!" He spat and burst in sonic negative energy.

"All together guys!" Chloe urged on. Vince nodded in his little sister's order. Together they can do this! "Mages, full power! Vince and Raijah, just rock out!" Chloe suggested to everyone while she harness Ingrid's energy that had been provided. Ingrid cheered on down below.
Rhythm Knight slammed on a chord of the lute, a repelling wave of pink sound energy bouncing off of Gakono's blast and hitting him back with his own might! Sparks flew and he staggered around. As a team, Warthog's power fused with the Knights as the Megazord continued playing a rocking tune, blasting Gakono with its energy and drowning him out. He grabbed his head as sparks flew, begging for it to stop!
"Rhythm Knight, Victory Chord!" Chloe and the others shouted for the finisher. Rhythm Knight then leaped up into the air and heavily slammed on the strings of the lute, a bom-bard-ment of musical magic swarming Gakono in place. "I guess I'm...stage dying!" Gakono yelled and exploded. Finally defeated!

Ingrid cheered on from below as Chloe, Vince, the new Mount and the others shared a moment of triumph in the cockpit. Rhythm Knight settled. Looking...badass!

Choking on metaphorical water Braxton coughed. Sexual tension between the mages in any regard being suggested? Bordering on inappropriate. Fraternizing is not acceptable! "How dare you say such a thing, Axe body spray enthusiast," Braxton retorted to Vincent in a most offended and slightly humored manner. Absurd things being spoke are not to be done in the heap of a battle. Bless these poor minds surrounding Braxton for they are so long behind... For reference, Braxton's word choice and manner of speaking isn't to be a word nerd. Simply a factor of how he had been raised and grew up in private schools with elite minds. Perish the though if he'd turned out any other way.

Divine Warthog, eh? Curious creature, this Mount was. Pink, loud, dazzling and energetic. Beautiful sounds as to be expected from any bard. Quite odd but nothing Braxton was not working his head around. It speaking is no shock, either, given the other Mounts in their service. "Gakono is in for a rude awakening it seems," Braxton muttered mostly to himself whilst Chloe brought forth the true power of the pig. A lute. It formed...a lute. Wolf gripped onto it at the base, being the arm to strum the chords in a moment.
Rhythm Knight? That is...a fitting title, to be frank. The 'rock on' exaggeration wouldn't stick, or so he had hoped. Unlike a Knight to behave such as a rock n' roll heathen. Goodness, now it's clear why people judge how he talks... "To be exact, Vincent, a lute is an early Western European string instrument. An elegant one, at that. Usually it's quite in sound and is really more of a violin-family than a guitar," Braxton told the warrior oh-so matter of fact. Hey, he knows stuff about stuff.

Not distracting from the demon ahead, though. Wolf strumming the chords so violently and producing such sound. Ironic compared to Braxton's info dump on lute history. Not at all quite or violin-like. Sound energy combating Discord is a like of pure wonder. The sounds did truly cover up the foul sound Gakono made albeit with an arguably fouler sound. Modernizing music is fine but how a lute translates into rocking someones socks off went over Braxton's head. Learning to not question everything will make this journey easier on his mind, it appears. He nodded per Chloe's suggestion to give it all of his power, focusing magic into the lute and channeling inner strength into each attack. Projecting some of his own essence into the chords, even. Powerful magic at play.
Gakono is right where they want him now. "Rhythm knight, Victory Chord!" Braxton joined as a group with his Knights, feeling their megazord soar up and hit the metaphorically whammy bar on this instrument. Music and sound energy tore through Gakono, sending the demon ablaze for good. Who'd have thought that a warthog would become a lute and use sound waves to defeat such a beast? Magnificent. Folding his arms he basked in momentary glory with a grin under his visor.

"Never ever going to happen in this life," Mellany commented. She and Braxton? No way in the nine hells she'd even ever consider that! At least Braxton seemed to think just the same thing about her. In this case, she did not mind obvious dislike regarding her being spoken out like that. Eeew.... the thought alone grossed her out to the point where she needed all her focus to pull herself back to the battle. There was a demon to take care of, and a piggy was going to be the savior of the day. Boy, definitely something that sounds strange out of context. Then again... it would be stranger to say something like.... bagels saved their lives. Imagine explaining that to just about anyone! Anyhow... focus on the task at hand here!

Was shaking her head a no to the hug, or just a signal to blast Gakono with whatever they got? Raijah had absolutely no idea. And as if his confusion over that wasn't enough, weird phrases made things even more difficult. Not the part where Peter told them this was the Warthog Mount... or the part where the Mount spoke... No, it was her words. Rock this fool.... Were they going to pick up stones and throw them? Raijah could do that, but there were definitely more efficient ways to take care of demons than throwing stones. And then Chloe went with the rock too... what's with these people and wanting to throw stones? Raijah really didn't understand this society, no matter how hard he tried. "So... we pick up stone and throw at demon?" he asked, slightly tilting his head and full of confusion.

Mellany chuckled at the idea. That would be taking it very literally... kinda like if a monster would turn someone to stone and then another would suggest to rock it. That's irony at it's finest. She lightly shook her head in amusement. Poor Raijah, looking like a confused little puppy. Sayings really weren't his thing, were they now? Did they not have any sayings in the Tribe, or were they so very different from the ones they used?
"Rhythm Knight?" she asked together with Vince. "Sounds cool!" So there it stood. The usual Megazord, but now with a pink helmet and a lute in hand. Not a bad addition at all, if you'd ask Mellany. "Even I knew that about lutes," she nodded. "Then again, somewhere down the line I have Italian ancestors, so it's expected I know a thing or two about medieval Europe."

Not using the lute to slam rocks around, but playing amazing music instead, the Knights took care of the demon. Wolf played the chords while Deer held on to the Lute. And Bear... Bear tried not to dance. He liked music! And so did Raijah. A true unison between Mount and Knight. Odd as it may be, the Lute and the oinking were strong enough to no longer hear Gakono and his foul discord. Mellany nodded as Chloe gave the command. Strange to have someone else tell her what to do. She channeled her magic into the music, powering up the music even further. Raijah, when told to rock out, had Bear kick a boulder right into Gakono's gut. What? It's a rock, isn't it?
Now that they had the demon cornered, it finally was time to finish it. This time for real. "Rhythm Knight, Victory Chord!" the two called. The new Megazord soared high up into the air, jamming on the lute. And now, this time for real, Gakono went up in flames. Victory is theirs at last!

"Divine Knights, v--" Vince had started the end-game declaration as before. Cued by higher powers, Chloe physically shoved Vince in his piece aside to finish. "--Victory is ours!" Striking a V pose with her fingers, Chloe let out a soft giggle while Vince rubbed his hand on his helmet, laughing in turn but also getting low key fed up with all of the interrupting while he spoke...

Far off in Faye Castle, the main hall echoed with the sound of Disciple discipline. Calling forth all other Disciples, Dumanax sat on his throne while Zaken was forced to kneel before his master in the viewing of his comrades. Silent but swift Dumanax mentally beamed a harsh pressure into his mind, causing Zaken a great deal of mental distress and sheer pain. Urla and Torth clasped their hands together witnessing the punishment. 'Tis a joy that they have not to go through this. The torture of Supreme Disciple of Silence Dumanax' power is so great that even the strongest of will break under his essence.
Dumanax finalized the punishment with a massive bolt of his power encompassing Zaken, submitting him to the floor like a dead animal. Waving him away he ordered the failed Zaken to leave the hall to be alone someplace he would not be reminded of his failure.
Encircling the remaining Disciples with their supreme leader came a band of Thralls. Lurking in the shadows of the hall, Dumanax let a low growl from within. Divine Knights...pfft. They will perish soon enough. As will their would-be King.
---
The demise of Gakono left Chloe and Vince in a more positive mood. Vince tossed the new medallion up in the air like a coin toss multiple times. Pink glistens well in the sun! "Ya know, guys, this is surprisingly my new favorite thing in the world," he commented on the power of the bard. Puts warriors to shame! Actually pure strength and unbreakable bodies might just win over...singing.
Chloe, unmorphed like all of the others now down in the streets of Westfield, Mounts long gone, paused in front of everybody as they walked. "Where's Ingrid?" She asked. Just like magic, Ingrid showed up around a corner and waved slightly. The Rangers' identities had been compromised! Vince looked at the girl cautiously. Nobody should really know who they are. Nice enough girl and she even gave them more power but...

"Are you alright?" Chloe asked her. She nodded.
"I'm okay. So... you guys are the Power Rangers?" She asked everybody peering over Chloe's shoulder. Vince scratched the back of his head and nodded slightly. "Your guys' secret is safe with me. I promise," she said and zipped her lips, throwing away the pretend key. Chloe looked at the others. "We can trust her. After all. She did unlock the power of a bard," she mentioned to everybody. Ingrid smiled and brushed her hair form her eyes. Chloe smiled at everyone. Peter seemed to approve of her already, so what could the harm be in this? Vince folded his muscular arms.
"Alright. No problem here. But let's not make a habit out of telling people who we are. You get a pass because you helped us. And you saved my sisters life, apparently," he told her. Ingrid humbly shook her head.

"You did. Brooke, Jacob, all of them, they... " Chloe paused and looked at the ground. Remembering how she felt, powerless and about to die. Being scared does not justify that! What they did is just wrong.
"I... I'll see you guys at home," Chloe said. "I'll add you on something later, see you at school," Chloe started breaking a little bit. Anger and sorrow combined are an ugly thing. Not uglier than discord, but ugly. Ingrid frowned as Chloe walked on ahead, going home by herself.

Ingrid now stood with the four other Knights awkwardly. "You guys were so cool by the way," she mentioned. Vince smiled. "When they left Chloe to die, she was in that other bad guy's grip. I thought those kids were her friends. How could they do that?" she asked everybody softly.
Vince shrugged his shoulders. People leaving someone behind is sick but understandable. Doesn't make it right, but it makes it understandable. "It's getting late. Let us walk you home, kay?" Vince offered her. Ingrid nodded, her vibrant hair moving in the breeze.

Mellany laughed as Chloe just completely took over from Vince. Rightfully so, if you'd ask her. The girl's been through a lot today. Finding out her "friends" would leave her to die, facing a demon, protecting another girl from harm... And she's handling all of that reasonably well, too. She knew that, even if Chloe didn't show it, she must be hurting badly inside. Mellany knew she did when something similar happened to her back in High School. Raijah... he was just glad to hear Chloe laugh again. Laughing was good.
---
"It was pretty cool indeed," Mellany nodded. "Who would have thought a Warthog is a bard, though? I'd have imagined it to be an animal more known to sound harmonious.... Not a pig." Oinking generally wasn't known to be a very pretty sound. Raijah shook his head. "Raijah not think that," he said. He had no idea what animal he'd expect to be a bard's companion. Maybe some colorful bird. But not a Warthog. Pigs were good to eat when roasted above a fire during feasts, though. And at feasts there was music... so maybe that's why? Yes... Yes, that must be it. Raijah could definitely see the logic in that. Pigs were associated with fun and music. He nodded to himself, satisfied with the explanation he came up with. Then, just as Chloe wondered where the other girl, Ingrid, was... she showed up. Almost like magic! This girl now knew who the Power Rangers were... shouldn't there be something they ought to do about that? Mellany eyed Braxton. If anyone knew a spell to wipe bits of memory, it should be him. She... she did not know a spell like that on the top of her head. She'd have to go looking in the tomes, but there was no time for that. Raijah, on the other hand, just greeted the girl with a happy smile and a wave of his hand. "Hi!" he excitedly called. Gosh, he's really like a puppy sometimes, isn't he? Greeting new people as if everyone was his friend.

Mellany smiled as Ingrid assured them their secret was safe with them. She had to agree with Chloe. This girl had helped them unlock the new power.... and she saved Chloe's life when her so-called friends just ditched her. "I have to agree with Vince here. You helped us out a great deal today. If it wasn't for you, we'd probably be dead." She shuddered lightly. Not a pleasant thought, but really... if Ingrid hadn't been present, they wouldn't have been able to unlock the power of the bard, and they would never have been strong enough to defeat Gakono. Can't have demons take over the world, now can they?
"Raijah happy to meet you. You good person," Raijah smiled and nodded in approval. Saving a stranger when there was nobody else around really gave him points in his book. And just being a nice person too. Ingrid definitely was a nice person. Nicer than Chloe's "friends". They were, by now, bad people in his book. The both of them turned their attention to Chloe as she started to break. No wonder after everything that had happened. It was almost as if the realization her friends would let her die only just dawned upon her. Boy, were those teens going to be in for a surprise when Chloe showed up at school tomorrow! Mellany swore to herself, if she'd hear Chloe come home the next day to tell that Jacob-guy immediately hooked up with that Brooke-bitch... She'd find the nastiest hex she could get away with and use it on the two of them! Have them puke up frogs or something for an hour! Something embarrassing and nasty. Mellany clenched her fists. Once they got home, she'd cheer Chloe up with some ice cream and girl talk. Raijah looked at the ground. Was she sure she didn't want a hug? She looked like she could really use a hug now. He'd offer it again once they got home! He didn't want Chloe to be sad. And he really wanted to punch the people who made her feel like that. Just... he knew that would get him in a lot of trouble. And that was a bad idea.

"You know what else is cool?" Mellany asked. "Your hair. I love it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise." You thought she was going to make a pun about her ice magic being cool, right? You know you did. "And why they did that... most of the popular kids are selfish assholes and bitches. Only care about the things that make them better and disregard everything and everyone else. Always been like that." She sounded really quite bitter when saying those words.
"They bad people," was all Raijah had to say about it.

Insisting on taking her elder brother's moment to speak made Braxton tilt his head ever so slightly but not judge. In fairness, this girl had indeed had a bad day and was likely just excited that it was over on this front. Seeing her fight and take on a role of a true Knight today really helped Braxton display respect for her. She still may be a more annoying teenager in their ranks, but she's an annoying teenager that at least has a respectable fighting spirit. So while he might not directly say it: he respects Chloe more so than he did more.
---
"I would suggest that a swine Mount for a bard is meant to be ironic. Something one wouldn't expect to be so beautiful being beautiful. Like a bard in the case of them being at times more so like spies or rarely assassins, being seen as not a threat but actually being a threat." Braxton pondered this to everyone when back in human form on the ground walking in a group with everybody. Figured that Raijah would accept the pig right off the bat. People who didn't grow up on an island just assumed a hog is not the first choice for a creature to represent sound energy at its finest potential. Regardless of what it is, the Warthog came when they needed it most and for that, Braxton is most grateful.
Speaking of bards, the girl from before returned. Against Mellany's thoughts, Braxton actually didn't know a memory erasing spell. Something like that is considered immoral by his standards, but he did know exactly which book to look in if Ingrid's memory needed a little adjusting. Since nobody should be permitted to know who they are, Braxton had a little reading to do.

Or not. Lowering his transgressions about her he let out a breath. "Vincent is correct. Since you did aid us, and if this is a one-time thing. Even if it goes against what code we have established and tradition. I put my faith in you," Braxton said to Ingrid kindly. He would rather face tradition but he will not look a gift horse in the mouth. Oh dear, it sounds like he just called her a horse. Rest assured, he thought nothing about this girl was at all horse-like. Ingrid gave off a nice enough atmosphere about herself. Watching Chloe have a little emotional moment did upset Braxton. Circumstance would announce she is clearly having a bitter reaction to the events of a couple hours ago.
"Leave her be. She needs a little time to calm," Braxton instructed the others as she wandered off alone to go home. Coping mechanisms differed for all different types of people around the world.

"Please, if anyone acted admirably today it was you. It took real courage to step in for someone who was by all means a stranger," Braxton praised her for a moment. Cowardly folk such as Chloe's so-called friends would never help another person in need. Selfish bunch, they were. "Indeed we could walk with you. Or if you like, just give me your address and I might be able to magically transport you there?"

"Popular kids get popular by making people scared of them. Nobody would think those kids were cool if they knew about this..." Ingrid told herself, watching Chloe slump into herself while walking away. Company of the Knights is nice. Everybody was in agreement that the kids who left were scum. Ingrid was not really a fighter but she was highly tempted to just punch them--.... easy now, easy Ingrid. Softening her smile she looked up at Mellany while brushing hair from her face again as she received a compliment. "Thank you. I dye it myself," Ingrid told her. Wow, her hair looks like it was professionally done! Turning to the guy in glasses, Ingrid kindly declined the zap offer. "Um...thank you, but I think being zapped from one spot to another is something you should experience once a day... "
Vince grinned. She seems nice. Gently cupping her shoulder, Vince and the others walked Ingrid home. Not a long walk by any means, but a walk well enough to burn some calories and take in some fresh air!
---
A couple of hours had gone by. Vince and the others had returned from taking Ingrid home safely, giving Chloe some time to cool off on her own and walking into the Lair from a mirror across the way and meeting Peter inside of the Lair where he sat at the table. Books remained on the table, flipped onto their pages, runes being his subject of study. Waving them inside, Peter bookmarked his current page and close the book, sliding it on the table and standing up.
"Where's Chloe?" Vince asked the boy curiously. If your sister went home breaking down emotionally, you'd be concerned too. Even if she had broken a promise to be home on time today. Peter went to speak, but a lone voice from behind spoke up instead. Familiar, too. "The girl? She came back a bit ago! She's upstairs throwing out a bunch of stuff from her room! Playing some music, too! Yeah!" Vince had a puzzled look on his face and turned around. Peter didn't say that...then who???? Behind the Knights on a small little pile of boxes...was a pig. It's Warthog! Just like the other Mounts, Warthog has a normal animal form, likely given this body by magic! Only...it isn't a full grown pig. It's a piglet. A little...tiny...baby...talking piglet! She oinked adorably. Vince widened one eye and twitched the other.
"Yeah... So she has a body. But somehow she's not fully grown yet. Warthog is intelligent, though. She'll grow into the body in time," Peter explained, smiling at how cute she is. She oinked one more time
Vince pet her on the head and welcomed her to the team. "Nice to have you. Thanks for the help, little thing you," he said to her. She oinked in approval! Oink oink oink!

As Warthog relished in approval, Vince decided it was time to check on Chloe. Anyone who wanted to go with him is welcome. Walking up the stairs, Vince met Chloe as she brought down a trash bag. It's full to the brim of stuff, and there's another one already down here as well. Chloe frustratingly tossed the second bag down. "Hey, sis...what's with the trash?" he asked her. Chloe looked up at him. "This is all stuff Jacob gave me. And random crap from some of my friends who left me to die," she said, kicking the bag in the floor. Not heavy bags, mostly full of clothes, stuffed animals, generic high school kid stuff. Including her...pom poms and cheer outfit? But Chloe loves cheer leading...even before she met Brooke and all of the others!
"Chloe, are you really giving up on cheer? You've always loved it.. C'mon sis, don't let them ruin it for you... " Vince tried to convince her. Chloe just sniffled. She'd been crying a lot while they were gone. Peter tried helping her but she wanted to be alone in that time. Shaking her head, Chloe walked back up the stairs to her room, Seemingly void of friends and all of her favorite things in life.

Vince sighed, picking her cheer stuff out of the bags and placing them on the couch. Scratching the back of his head he stood there, not knowing what to do. Anyone know how to get through to a vulnerable teenage girl? Wildcat hopped in through the pet door. "I'm going after her. Anyone gonna come?" Wildcat said. Man, nothing like a talking cat to lead people to a sad teen...

Seriously, Ingrid's hair was cool! And she did that all by herself? That's amazing! Mellany grinned and nodded in approval. She chuckled as Ingrid denied the offer. Girl was right though, one shouldn't want to be zapped from one place to another too often. Teleportation sickness is a real thing, y'know? Mellany liked this girl. Certainly she seemed to be a much better friend to Chloe than those kids she had considered her friends for who knows how long. Raijah just smiled, thinking this girl was a very nice person. He'd be happy to be there and walk her home. Just to be sure there wouldn't be any more demons showing up to hurt her. So it was said, so it was done. The knights walked the girl home safely. Not a long walk, but definitely a nice walk. Yet still the rogue and the mage had this odd feeling in their stomachs. They were concerned about Chloe. Poor girl had been through too much for one day.
---
Home at last, they followed Vince into the Lair to meet up with Peter. Had the boy really been sitting there all day to read those books? He really ought to go out and get some fresh air and sunlight! They curiously looked at Peter as Vince asked his question.. Why did Peter's voice sound so weird though? ... Oh wait, that wasn't Peter speaking. It was... The two turned around to see Warthog. Or rather, a piglet. "PIGGY!" Raijah called. It was such a cute little piggy! He wanted to give it a hug. And make sure Bear and Wolf wouldn't mistake the little thing for bacon. Hmm... bacon. Could they still eat bacon or would that make piggy upset? Once Vince had thanked and petted her, Raijah just picked Warthog up and hugged her. She was so cute! Mellany smirked, said smirk soon turning into a chuckle. Raijah would hug anything and everything. Cue a mental image of Raijah trying to hug one of the demons. Probably to stab both daggers in their back. At least, that's what she would do if she were a rogue. "Thanks for your help today, Warthog," she smiled. She had to agree, baby warthog was absolutely adorable. Just... hugging a pig wouldn't be the first thing she'd do. Hearing Chloe was throwing stuff, however... that was worrisome. At least a bit.

They followed Vince back up to the farm and wandered up the stairs behind him, watching Chloe throwing the bags downstairs. Throwing out everything her friends and Jacob had given her, huh? That's a bit drastic. But Mellany understood. She understood that pain so well. To see her throwing out her cheer outfit though... that was physically painful to her, almost. God, Chloe reminded Mellany of herself to the point where it was scary and painful. If Vince was right and she had loved it for so long... would Chloe really end up giving up on something she loved because her friends were horrible? Mellany knew all too well how the wrong friends could totally ruin the things you used to love. The people you're with can either completely make or break something. She smiled sadly.
"Just a moment," she told Wildcat, walking downstairs to fetch a tub of ice cream from the freezer, and quickly dropping by her room to fetch something she kept stuffed away in a box underneath her bed.

Raijah too watched as Chloe was throwing the bags of stuff down the stairs. He understood she was angry. He even understood she didn't want her physical memories of those bad people anymore. But it was sad to see her throwing away things she had always liked to do. She shouldn't let the bad people get the better of her! As Mellany walked back down the stairs to get some things, Raijah followed Wildcat up the stairs, heading into Chloe's room. "Raijah just wants to say.... Raijah is sorry," he said. None of this was his fault, but Raijah had learned that people also said they're sorry when they feel sorry for someone. He didn't really understand that. To him saying sorry means you did something wrong. Ah well... Raijah walked to Chloe and hugged her. Because she really still looked like she needed a hug. He let go of her as he heard Mellany walk up the stairs. Don't ask how he knew it was Mellany. It was just the sound of her footsteps she recognized. If there was one thing Raijah had learned in the Tribe, it was that the men best get outta there if the women decided to speak together. Men had no place in women's talk.

Having everything she needed, Mellany walked up to Chloe's room, knocking on the door before letting herself in. "Hey there," she said, walking over to Chloe and briefly hugging the girl. "I got something for you," she handed the tub of ice cream to her. "If you're up for it, I've got a whole secret stash of sappy and terrible movies to watch together and laugh at. Ought to cheer you up after today." Mellany smiled kindly, sitting down on a chair, looking down at the second thing she'd brought into the room. A photograph of herself back in high school, a couple of years back. And Mellany in the picture was wearing.... a cheer-outfit?! "What happened to you today... it reminded me of myself a few years back. Except there weren't any demons involved that time." She showed the photograph to Chloe. "I was in the cheer squad too, besides doing archery and gymnastics. Then one day I got into an accident. Nothing major, but it left me unable to practice for a while. None of my squad showed up or asked me how I was doing. Instead... I figured they'd been talking shit about me all the time. When I needed them the most, they all dropped me like a brick. That was when I learned who my real friends are. And unfortunately I figured out that left very little people, just some people whom I up until then had never considered to be really my friends. What I'm trying to say is, I'm here for you if you want to talk, or hang out and do something to distract your mind."

"Suit yourself. At least it's a pleasant day out today," Braxton humbly understood Ingrid's rejection to the idea of being teleported again. For somebody not used to it, it was better in the long run to limit exposure to that sort of thing for one day. Walking with thumbs in his pockets, Braxton remained towards the back of the cluster of bodies walking the well-mannered girl home. Off chance she were to be attacked again, she would be protected. Pondering as they walked, Braxton did think about Chloe a lot. The girl had been through personal trauma. Damned demons waking ahead of schedule. She's but a child being dragged into this. Perhaps if not for the demon Gakono, Chloe would not feel dreadful. Then again if not for Gakono again, she would have not been exposed to her peers true colors. That isn't to say Gakono was a good guy.
---
Emerging through the mirrors after safely guiding the young girl home, Braxton was greeted with the scent of books, musk, and faint magical tingles that lingered after a jump through a mirror portal. Sort of a new car smell combined with...sage. Queer duo but not at all unpleasant. Adjusting his glasses, he expected to hear from Peter that all was well in the world of divinity and they had done well. Instead everybody got to hear a voice unlike one they've become accustomed too. Spinning in a 180, Braxton could clearly tell that Warthog had taken a corporeal form in the shape of a piglet. "Now that is not something one sees daily," he told himself, noting a piglet on a stack of boxes proclaiming the whereabouts of a troubled teenage girl. Still... she is sort of cute. What, Braxton isn't allowed to find anything cute? Logical and anal as he is about facts and being proper, he'll admit animals as babies are simple cute as buttons. Same is to be said of human babies. He didn't hug or squeal over Warthog like Raijah did, but he gently pet her head as Vince and Mellany would. "I guess this means we'll clean another stall in the barn. And start making pig feed," he said. Though as small as she is, she could live in the house. Might need to question their sanity if they let a pug love in the house with them. They already have Raijah.

Curious, he joined everybody going up the stairs to find Chloe trashing her belongings and remnants of her peers. Even her cheer leading equipment? That's like watching Braxton willingly burn his bookshelves lined with the finest novels and biographies known to man. Wolf wagged his tail and even if he's a little too big, squeezed his fat self through the pet door. His ears were super powerful as any canine's and he knew Chloe needed cheering up. No pun intended. Not one for going into overly emotional situations, Braxton allowed Wolf to go up the stairs like a good dog. Quickly, he wrote a small note and plucked a flower from a hanging basket in the kitchen window. He sent these things up to Chloe's room via Wolf. "She shouldn't give up on that..." he mentioned to Vince and referenced the cheer stuff.

Running up the stairs, he joined Wildcat for an animal love moment! As it got quiet enough, Wolf appeared in Chloe's room. A horrific sight for most people, seeing a damned wolf waltz into your bedroom. This wolf is at least more of an overgrown Siberian husky at least. "Hey! Woof woof! Blue man gave me this to give to you!" Wolf said with the note and flower in his mouth, setting them by Chloe's bed and licking her affectionately. Awww, dog kisses! The note read as follows beside of the pink flower:
"Chloe. You have experienced a major hardship. Let it be known that while your peers abandoned you, we will never do the like. The Knights are a team under our King. Please take comfort in that. Ps, I wouldn't advise giving up cheer. I've seen you practice, you really do have talent. -Braxton"

With being hugged by Raijah, a hug Chloe welcomed with open arms...literally, she opened her arms as soon as she saw him coming, she felt better by a hair. Wildcat escorted Mellany and Wolf up to the bedroom, offering only a cuddle from a glorified house cat. Nuzzling up to her on the bed, Wildcat purred and said nothing. Either to let the other people speak or because cats, as sweet as they are, can be extremely lazy. She did pounce from a building today, give the cat a break! Chloe sniffled once more after Wolf delivered the note and flower. Braxton....that was very sweet. Gently, she scratched behind Wold's ear and gave him a little kiss on the head. "Thanks, Wolf... " she uttered to him, looking at Mellany as she came in with ice cream.
Engaging in the hug was only mildly awkward. She got the impression that Mellany really did not like her? She smiled softly while seeing the plethora of movies she had also brought up. Secretly, Chloe hoped one of those movies was animated...and about an ice queen...with singing....don't judge her. It'd be fitting if Mellany of all people brought it, too. She's not a queen, but.... The photo really baffled her, too. Inspecting it while listening to the story, Chloe was really shocked. Mellany had undergone a similar thing before. It's like she knew exactly hat she was dealing with. Word for word. Chloe looked up to her from the picture. "Thanks, Mellany... I learned who my real friends are today, too. Thanks for saving me." Chloe sounded so appreciative. Cue a knock on her open door frame. There stood Vince holding her cheer uniform and pom poms.
"Am I interrupting?" He asked nicely. Chloe shook her head. "Good. Sis... I know you went through a lot today. But maybe we didn't save you. You didn't need saving, really. But I will always be there for you, always. This might be a weird group... but we've got each others backs. Don't let the kids at school ruin this part of your life. If anything? Let them be the new fuel." Vince sounded wise. Big brothers aren't always so dumb. She smiled again, eyeing her cheer attire. Hmm.
---
The following school day. As everybody ate breakfast downstairs, Peter feeding Warthog in a little pet dish, Chloe was in her room. Her room now decorated with pictures of her and her family, the Knights, Mounts. Various other things she liked, everything but her old friends and relationship. Vince half expected her to attend school in sweats and a t shirt today because she was feeling lousy, even after the genuine and relaxing time Mellany gave her. In theory, that's the case. In reality? She had a new determination to be herself. After getting ready, she strolled down the stairs and said hello to everyone. She looked fantastic. Vince gave her a wondering look. "I thought you'd give up on fitting in?" Peter curiously asked.
She giggled. "Please. As if I'm letting what happened change me. I still look awesome with this highlight on my face. And this lip gloss? To die for," she said and threw her friends a kiss. Off to school!
---
Glammed. Up. Cut to school. Arriving through the front doors, heads turned and jaws dropped. Having met up with Ingrid outside, Chloe walked into Westfield Central with her arms locked in Peter and Ingrid's on either side of her. Down the hallway stood the popular crowd. Jacob, Brooke, all of them. And a starving Kelsey. Once they caught glimpse of her, they froze. How is she not dead? She made it? These were things on their minds. Utterly in disbelief, they watched as Chloe approached them with 'geeks' on her arms. Chloe's makeup, hair, outfit, down to the purse and backpack, were all totally fabulous. "Looks like you've seen a ghost," she greeted the other kids.
Swallowing, Brooke spoke up. "Wow. Can't believe you didn't get mauled... I'm happy you're okay!" Brooke tried to say. But this rogue knew better.
"Brooke? If you were concerned...you wouldn't have left me to die," Chloe announced. Whoa, people are listening! The queen bee tried denouncing that fact, but she'd get shot down. "I get you wanted to save your ass. But, one thing I've learned about you in all these years? Brooke...you're an evil bitch, and nobody respects your pathetic silicone ass," she said. Kids knew she got burned! Brooke scoffed.

"Babe, what--" Jacob tried. Chloe shushed him. "Shut up. Jacob... we are so over. Cheating on me, also leaving me for dead, and constantly acting like I'm property? News flash, that makes you a prick." Chloe shut his ass down before he even really spoke. He tried touching her, but she cunningly kneed his stomach. As he groaned, she spoke again. "You guys don't have to be afraid to go against them anymore. Brooke's an evil skank. And Jacob? He's a cowardly weasel who overcompensates," Chloe made clear to all in the hall. Kids laughed and knew that was a wicked burn.
Defeated, the two main jerks scoffed. "You don't break up with me... I'm dumping you! Have fun with those dorks!" Jacob tried. Yawn. Chloe giggled in his face, handing Kelsey a breakfast bar.
"Your weight is perfect. Don't starve, honey," she whispered to her. Kelsey smiled in the background.

Whipping her hair around, and gaining a new following, she walked off with Ingrid and Peter. "By the way, Brooke? I hope you like baby carrots. You'd better get used to them with Jacob," she called back. Jacob went red. Ohhhhhhhhh! Having found her true friends, Chloe was free of this societal constraint of fitting in. Be fabulous however you want to be.
