007's motor buzzed as it clunked down the abandoned streets of Chicago. The large robot found it's way through the streets, scanning for life forms, as it was programmed to do. Advance several feet, spinning around, blue sensor flashing, clear the area, and continue. It's clunky steps would alert anyone of its presence, but 007 did not seem to notice. On and on it continued, as it was hard to find humans nowadays.

A Man would hear the Noise, He'd Rush to the Building making Loud bangs as he ran down the Alley way, He'd have a White Stained Beared.

His Hoody would be Covered in multiple Stiches and Patches of Cloth signifing the State of his Clothing, His Backpack was a Slide slung Hiking pack with a Small Holster for a Knife.

He'd Slam his Hand onto the Door Opening it and Shutting it behined him and running up the Apartment Building hoping for some Safety from the Robots.

007 scanned the movement of the man, watching the metal door being slammed shut. 007's laser cannon sliced through the metal door, advancing on slowly. A small, flying robot detached, speeding forward and catching up to the man. It beeped, alerting 007 to it's presence. 007 slowly continued forward, taking large, labored steps.

@Encrypted

He'd Sit in an apartment on the opposite side of the street Remington 700 by his side, loaded with .308 AP rounds.

He'd be listening to the Loud clanking outside. he'd pick up the Rifle, and push him self up with it.

He'd Position himself on the window using the bi-pod to steady his aiming. Hed scope in on 007 watching its every step, he would flip the safety off, just in case.

007 advanced forward into the building, climbing flights of stairs after the man, unaware of the second one in the complex.

He'd stop aiming, having lost sight of the machine.

His only hope was that the man would move to the roof so he could have a clear shot again.

He'd put on his camo baseball cap, and make his way to the roof.

Fred observed the scenario that unfolded before him — whoever had the idea of using a laser cannon out in the opens, where bandits roam freely, had to be someone real stupid, as Fred deduced, though judging by his weaponry, he must've been spurred more by courage than foolhardy recklessness. Never mind that he's most likely outnumber by at least a dozen out in this locale. Fred cradled his shotgun in his arms, prudently caressing it with his left hand, and examining the situation with great caution. He was the kind of person who couldn't help but attempt to figure out the details — only attempt, for nowadays, his doggone eyesight had grown weak and near-useless. He could tear it out, and it would still be the same.

The stranger — or rather, the thing — on the streets barged into the apartment just right in front, with, as Fred observed, massive vigour and a larger-than-life vigour; who the hell did this guy think he was? Still, however annoyed he might be, he had the least of intention to act as the good samaritan, but who can tell if that maniac wasn't going to tear down his door next? Fred knew, and he knew that quite well, that he had to administer some strong, vigilante justice, some pre-emptive strike. Mostly, for his brutal vandalism. People broke in every now and then, but most did it quietly and subtly.

The few who didn't, ended up sleeping with the fishes.

Fred was a man in his early forties, yet he was nothing but balanced and fit, at least for his age. He had thinning salt-and-pepper, which at this point, thoroughly resembled lithe strands and patches of hair. Grey facial hair, bordering on the thin line between a stubble and a beard, decorated his face along with a thick moustache, which, truthfully, suited and even complimented his rugged, wide face. Aside from that, Fred had nothing distinctive, and could be easily classified as a nondescript scavenger.

He checked the safety in his gun, promptly switching it off, and then slinging it across his oft weary back. One quick glance spanning the entirety of his filthy temporary home, and he lurched off from his chair and tottered downstairs. Each step caused the frail wooden steps to creak. The sound resonated through the hallways, and despite Fred having experienced quite a many times, he still got perturbed by it. Couldn't even explain how — might've been the hollow isolation, the presence of maniacs, or the fact that his life often hanged by a single thread. Nevertheless, he had little time to care about all these minuscule details; his brooding insight is often more of a hindrance than any particular help. Lowering his back to a slant degree, and moving each step with varied caution, he proceeded to unlock the door.

A thin pillar of light shined into the windowless — it actually had windows, but they were barred and covered, for a good reason — floor. He squinted his eyes, more at the prospect of going outside than the glaring light. It had been a great while since he even tried to venture into the outdoors. He tightly grasped the elongated, ergonomic grip of his flechette shotgun. Concluding that the road was most likely safe, he strode towards his destination.

The thick smell of burnt rubber, charred wood and molten metal invaded his lungs; safe to say, it was sickening in a bitter sort of way, even quite nauseating. Stepping carefully over the destroyed door, he went inside the building. Fred could audibly hear the machine proceeding to whatever man it had wished to obtain, or rather, eliminate. Rushing through the steps subtly, it didn't take long for him to find the hulking object, most probably near-sentient.

He grabbed the gun with two hands, taking a defensive stance, though not quite aiming the gun at him. The last thing he wanted, was to make an enduring adversary. Judging by the thing's look, fighting should be the option considered at the very last moment. And anyway, Fred was a patient guy. Especially when you compare him to his significantly different relatives. The thought churned nostalgia within him, that was for sure. Nostalgia, he supposed; he often missed them. Granted, their relationship was only vaguely friendly, but still, he'd grown, well, used to them.

He faced the machine. "It would be mighty appreciated of you stopped vandalizing other's property." His tone dripped sarcasm, dry sarcasm.

A very sugary, veiled threat, it was. That's for certain.

"No use makin' enemies here. Reveal your intent, and we can all trot off as friends, padre." He said, ending off with a slur and an awful combination of accents.

As he was running up the stairs he'd catch a glimpse of what was going on through a window. He stopped to and checked what he saw, he rushed to open the window. The window was stiff to open, but it opened.

He Steadied his bi-pod on the window sill and and aimed in. he'd Chamber a Round.

He would aim for the robots upper Back.

He would then wait for the robots next move.

007 looked over to the voice of the man, pausing in it's advance. It beeped once, then twice, registering what he said. It continued on, clanking it's metal feet on the ground.

He'd look up from his scope puzzled at this. He would scratch his beard thinking of what to put together about this robot.

Ali sighed as she'd walk the lonely streets of the once bustling city of, Chicago. Her eyes gliding along the rubble as she stared, hands tightly gripped on the straps of a large case that awkwardly rubbed against her back.

The case was very valuable to an individual, Ali had made a deal with. The woman had protected the case from many dangers as she retrieved it from a group of thieves and now she plans to return it to her dealer.

Ahmed ran. He didn't know how why he was running, but he knew that something had happened that caused him to run. The event was fuzzy in his mind, but he was in shock. He just ran.

And then he ran right into a woman carrying a case.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone run into another person.

He quickly swerved the rifle towards them, knowing if he did this he would lose track of the robot.

As he looked into the scope he saw the two people. He thought this was a strange day, he should have just stayed in his apartment.

Jake would be walking down the street, moving from cover to cover woth a Ar-15 slung over his left shoulder as he took cover behind a car at the top of the street he could see two people, one man who was running, the other a girl who was carrying some sort of case, hesitantly he would advance taking the weapon off his shoulder, raising it to a readied stance, it had a holographic sight on it but that was its only modification. The clothes he wore were torn, but easily recognizable. They were USMC cammies, the rank of Lieutenant on his shoulder as he looked to the two of them as the man ran into her he would raise his weapon, thinking the man was assaulting her "You two! Hold it right there!" He would slowly advance with his rifle raised @Avemelle @galacticspaceray

AJ grabbed her bow and arrows and backpack and started running. I can't let them catch me... I'm coming, Jasper! As she rounded the corner, she saw 007. God dammit! She turned around and started running the other way, just to realize that was where she was running from. She wanted to go back and to the left, then just decided to head straight towards 007.

Jake would see a girl sprinting down the street towards him and he would think to himself

Damn, its getting to hectic here

He would step back and hold his hand up to stop the woman as he said

"Quickly miss! You have to get out of the streets!"

he would appear friendly as he then looked to the two who ran into eachother and say

"You too! Lets move!"

007 seemingly hopped up and down in excitement, happy to see so many humans. It looked deep into it's programming, looking for solutions to a multiple human problem.

Ali side stepped out of the man's way. Her eyes averting to the man pointing a gun at her and then other directing her to another direction. "WHAT THE FUCK?! " She'd yell out utterly confused in the current situation she was in, keeping her grip tightly on her case ready to take out these possible hostiles.

He watched all this happening from above, only the glint of his scope giving him away, other then that, he was basicly hidden on the 8th floor of the complex.

He heard 007 jumping, he reached down for his radio and try to warn the marine what to run. (character is former marine sniper) "HELLO!?... does this thing even work?... That doesn't matter if you can hear me you have to go, the robots ... Jumping? I don't know at this point, this ones different. You need to go now!" He would wait for a reponse before looking back into his scope at the group.

Taking the radio into his hand and he would say

"Yeah I'm trying. Where did you...ugh nevermind. Just keeo it off us until I can get these people to listen." He would say before he looked to the people again. "I said LETS GO!"

Ali sighed in frustration. Everything was going too fast and then making a very blunt move she'd walk away from the group entirely, walking the opposite direction from the group and possibly walking as far away as she can from the event.

Jake would shake his head "Where are you going? You're going to die!"

He would yell towards her as he jogged after her "You cant be serious."

Ali only snickered as she'd tug on the strap of her case. "Oh well then. " The woman only smiled as she continued to walk away from the scene.
