The different forward positions are just for where your character would be during a formation attack. Left forward on the left, right forward right, etc. There are no huge differences. Formations will be explained in the ic.

As it stands, all the starting members are reserved. But if you want, you can play a reserve player that will be rotated into games as needed. Your character should be able to play any of the positions this way.
