description: At first glance Jeannine appears to be a distiguished higher class woman with excellent manners and an air of nobility around her. Though your view of her can quickly change once you notice your wallet is gone.
height/build: Jeannine is a comfortable 5'6 tall and rather slender in built. She is stronger than she may appear and quite well in shape, however not to the point of insane muscle definition.
distinguishing features: While being somebody you will likely keep in mind when seeing her on any event, she has no distinguishing features such as scars or body mods. She does however have a thick french accent.

personality: Jeannine can be described with many words. She is very action-based and quite good at improvising. She has the necessary patience for her job, even if that may be hard to believe watching her bounce around the room in her free time like a well thrown rubber ball. She has an incredible sense of situational awareness and while she is somebody that can very easily make her presence known and is very extroverted in interactions, she is just as good at flying below radar and being basically invisible.

But among all those things, smart is not a word one would use to describe the french master thief. Of course a certain amount of street smarts and experience are present, but that does not change the fact that Jeannine is simply not the quickest to connect dots or grasp new concepts. In addition, coincidentally with her profession, the woman is a severe cleptomaniac. While financially she has long surpassed the need to pickpocket, she has a simple urge to nib something of anybody she spends more than a minute around. She can supress this urge in certain occasions, but not for too long.

Something that Jeannine loves almost as much as stealing is food. She can often be bribed or calmed with simple snacks and inviting her to dinner or even cooking for her will certainly make her look at you more favorably. She is not too complicated to understand, though that does not mean she is shallow in personality. Anybody that does invite her to dinner must however be aware that hunger is no the only thing they will be relieved off on that occasion.

history: Jeannine is not too oversharing of her past, especially her childhood. It is clear she originates from France and that her current name is not the one she was born with. Other than that, people only know about her professionally.

Clef is quite infamous in the underworld for being one of the best at what she offers. If anybody needs something acquired from a secure place, she is your gal. By now, her prices are quite expensive, limiting her clients to the more financially stable. She is known to have worked for quite a few big names in the organised crime across the entirety of the globe. How many jobs she exactly completed and what those were is of course only known to her and the according clients, since none of her work can really be traced back to her. Though people in possession of unspeakably valuable things falling victim to sudden item disappearances with no signs of an intruder do tend to assume it might have been her.

However, this time Clef is working under less favorable conditions. After all it would be quite dangerous if a certain mobster were to find out where exactly his three rings he presumed lost disappeared to. In the end, a cleptomaniac stays a cleptomaniac, no matter how professional.

Role: Mechanical and electrical interpreter; social navigator.


Height and Build: Accel is on the shorter side, and only 5'5", but he makes up for it in raw force, raw strength, raw power. The life of a mechanical engineer/technician is a life of constant gains. Though, he still isn't quite buff, just buff adjacent.
Distinguishing Features: Accel can be easily identified by two things: a brilliant, dark-brown coiff featuring a bright copper racing stripe just off-center running down the right side of his head; and a pair of deep-set, hooded eyes that can be extremely intimidating, especially considering the distinct lack of sleep they seem to hold. In addition, his hands are large, rough, and hold 'S'-shaped callouses in his palms in line with his outer fingers.

Personality: Axel can--upon visual observation--be misinterpreted as an unhappy, deeply distrusting man; no doubt rash, brazen, and abrasive. However, he's actually a well-spoken social butterfly, and it can actually be surprising to find how quickly you'll be in the palm of his hand and--depending on who you are--out of your clothes. Of course, he handles work... differently. Accel absolutely does not fuck around on the job, no matter how much he likes you.

History: Accel has never worked a day outside of the mechanical industry, especially industrial level applications. He's picked up a number of trades that've set him up for life, he would never have to look for work or worry about having to make it from month to month in his life. Still, somehow he wanted more, all the running around and climbing the miscellaneous corporate ladders earning him his nickname. Despite it all, he found himself taking a ludicrous amount of money to work as a R&D Engineer for a third-party experimental weapons contractor: Overcurrent Industries, as contracted by the US government itself. This would ultimately be the worst mistake of his life, and even after spending the next five years trying to escape the consequences, he just can't seem to get away. After all he'd been though, he thought he was done until he was approached for a job; only forcing himself to accept when he learned the parties involved would have his head if they learned he was still alive.

Headcanons: Always seems to have some kind of food or miscellaneous snacks on his person. No one knows where they come from, where he keeps them, and how he manages to pull them out and put them away without anyone noticing. More than anything though, no one knows why he constantly has to eat.

description : Somewhere between sophisticated and entirely unassuming in appearance. With nice clothing that still avoids being conspicuous enough for too much attention, along with a genuine air of being unremarkable, he escapes under the radar in most situations.
height/build : Standing at only 5'3'', with a petite build and no real hidden strength, it's unlikely that Jude will be moving a bookcase by himself, let alone do any heavy lifting.
distinguishing features : While it's a habit he tries to avoid now, he still has a tendency to be obsessive about his nails; He often examines them for issues, and always carries a travel manicure set, stealing away moments for nailcare when he's particularly stressed or trying to focus and think. Due to this, his nails are always in perfect shape, to the point where it's almost the most notable thing about his appearance.

personality : Jude has put quite a bit of effort into appearing as collected, mature, and sociable as possible. Of course, this means that at heart he is an anxious mess. Surprisingly, constant worry about any possible outcome has actually made him a bit better at his job, since he tends to prepare for the worst in every situation, at least mentally. Though he's gotten very good at presenting himself to clients a certain way in the last 4 years, it's a difficult mask to maintain outside of work situations. At this point, it's turned into a kind of compartmentalization; Mr. Popovik the event planner always knows the right thing to say, while Jude the everyday person is allowed as much awkward laughter and fidgeting with his nails as he pleases. In either case, he's hardly notable, though in the latter he may be vaguely remembered for some kind of minor social faux pas.
history : As an event planner, many people would probably have some kind of biased idea of Jude's upbringing; Likely coming from a family of WASPs, he was given the best education and supported in any frivolous endeavor, including that of starting an event planning business. For all intents and purposes, those people would be right. Jude's family wasn't glamorous in the same way his clients are, but they certainly weren't struggling for money. What they couldn't earn through legitimate means, they would buy; This happened many times for Jude's sake without his knowing, such as when he miraculously made it onto every sports team he tried out for despite having zero skills, or when he got into a prestigious boarding school with lackluster scores. There was one decision, however, that he was perfectly aware involved deceit--his membership in the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners, despite not meeting the qualifications.
To be clear, this wasn't a necessary part of joining the business. It did, however, make his work look much better from the get-go. The numbers were fudged on how long he had been in the line of work, to make the certification seem legitimate, and in the process his whole business was almost mythologized. In fact, he was quite gifted in the field from the beginning, but he likely wouldn't have been able to attract as many highbrow clients if he had started out legitimately.
Unfortunately, it seems someone wasn't too tightlipped about this family secret, because now it's being held over Jude's head. Somewhat unsurprisingly for someone of his social class, Jude would do just about anything to avoid bringing shame to both himself and his family name; Including, apparently, running a heist and being implicit in even more criminal activity. No one said the shortcut would be completely risk free!

+ as mentioned, his focus shifts to his fingers when he needs to do quick thinking. he'll often pop into the bathroom when a problem arises and come out a few moments later with even more perfectly trimmed nails and a solution
+ additionally with his nails; he absolutely refuses to bite them, under any circumstances. in fact, he finds it completely barbaric when other people do so
+ though he doesn't seem especially conspicuous about his wealth at first, only wearing non-descript but preppy clothing, he has a few items that can betray his situation. a wristwatch and engraved pen, both of which have been handed down in the family, are probably a little more than he should be showing off in a group created specifically for those who would be good at theft.
+ another reason he was likely contacted is because his upper-crust history, both in name and clientele, makes it easy for him to cover for others as a friend or colleague when they otherwise may not be welcomed. he also has many connections, though most are through friends-of-friends, that make it easier to get into things he technically shouldn't be allowed in. (of course, a large part of that may include a bribe, if not of money then of a good word or piece of information)

history: Little is known about Anastasia, she came into prominence a couple of years back in several social media sites performing magic tricks. She first began performing in a small apartment before her popularity grew due to her amazing illusions and tricks as well as disbelief she was not using editing or other trickery.

She took to the streets, her charms and flirtatious manner drawing many people to her for her tricks. She walked across rivers in a bikini, put phones into solid beer bottles, escaped from water filled containers hang from train and more. She had deals for TV and theater performances, she always refused preferring to be a nomad constantly on the move.

This was until she was approached by somebody claiming to now who she really was and where she had run away from. If she didn't want certain people to know she would have to help them.
