The Eterna Forest was quiet this time of year. In the mists of fall the leaves were already turning into vibrant colors, littering the ground. The various Pokemon who lived there were preparing for winter to arrive so they may go into hibernation. The various bug Pokemon were becoming less and less active as time went on. Even the Budew that were commonly found were starting to hide. The only activity that could be obviously seen was from the occasional Murkrow cawing in the distance or a Buneary hopping though the crunchy leaves looking for vegetation to feed upon. One such Pokemon was a Loppuny walking through the forest. However they weren't looking for food. Her worried expression showed that much. Even more so when she called out some names. "Emlas! Alhamos!" She yelled before mumbling to herself. "Darn it... where did those two go?" She continued to make her way around the fast forest, trying to find the two in question.

------------------------------

Meanwhile at the edge of the forest, a red dragon was watching from out beyond the trees. Outside the borders lay the City of Eterna, humans moving about their days, and still the Red dragon watched. "You know you're not supposed to be here right." Said a black dragon from behind her.

The Latias turned around to see the Black Latios. "Come on. Why can't I go see them? It's so boring here in the forest, the humans have all kinds of neat things there. I could disguise myself with illusions and they would never know the difference." She said, clearly yearning to enter the city.

"Emlas, we've talked about this. The humans are dangerous. They have ways of seeing through the disguises. If they took you or even worse, I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I let them take you. Not to mention Lulu would be heart broken. I imagine that she's looking for us now." The Black Eon Pokemon explained to her.

Emlas sighed. She knew her brother was right. "Fine." She said now disappointed. "But... when do you think we can check it out?"

"I'd like it if we never did." He said begrudgingly. "But... maybe when you're older. We'll both go when your much more experienced and can defend yourself better."

On the road to Eterna Forest an old man was walking, in his right hand he held a walking stick in his right hand to keep him upright. His face was obscured by a blanket draped across his back. The man seemed focused on the ground as he made his way into Eterna. In reality this was no old man, but Maximus the Zoroark who had disguised himself so that he could move through the city and to the forest without being hassled. Why was Maximus heading to the forest? No real reason to be honest, he was just looking for places to travel and this forest seemed as good a place as any to stop for some rest before he made his way along the road that never ended. He'd just have to make his way into the forest and then he could ditch the illusion and find somewhere to get some food, water and sleep. He wasn't aware of anyone around though he kept a sharp eye out for any hint that he wasn't alone.
He slipped into the cool darkness of the forest. With a shimmer the old man disappeared and was replaced by the slender form of Maximus's true self, he threw what was now obviously a random branch on the ground and he made his way into a tree where he rested on a branch in the canopy. Maximus reclined on the perch, he looked to his left and saw a blue berry hanging there. He reached out and grabbed it, taking a bit of a snack break while he watched the path to see if he'd been followed by any curious humans. Hopefully his old man disguise had worked well enough to keep anyone from being interested enough to follow him. He supposed it wouldn't be the end of the world if someone did, he'd just have to head for the hills quicker than he'd planned to.

Charles yawned as he stepped out of the café, holding a rather sizeable bag of bread. A few of the poffins were for him- well, he kind of knew that he'd snack on most of them. But the rest of them were for a rather.. casual experiment: getting more data on what food tastes pokemon have. One thing was for certain for him at least- he enjoyed the treats more than he probably should. Unaware of the two pokemon watching over him, he was walking slowly back to his house out of the City of Eterna. He didn't mind the isolation- For one, it helped him make sure no white noise would lessen the accuracy of his tests. But also allowed him to meet more pokemon, out in the wild- he had no real team to speak of, but he was confident in his running away abilities if things got too dire. Not that he was assaulted especially often, either.

Bonnabelle

Bonnabelle’s stomach growled. See picked up another berry only to throw it down to the floor when she realised it was another sour Wiki berry. For the past half an hour she’d checked five different trees and had only found that type of berry. Bonnabelle could feel her forehead getting hotter as stared at the damn thing on the ground, she slammed her foot down onto the disappointing flora with a growl.

First she’d been chased out of the city by the irritatingly strong trainers there; then she’d had what apparently was the last damn Oran berry in the entire damn forest stolen from her by the most cowardly Aipom she’d ever met and now she was stuck finding nothing but what she deemed to be inedible trash. Bonnabelle had worked herself up so much that she hadn’t even realised that she’d been continuously stomping the berry into nothing but pulp. It was kind of disgusting. She started to take a deep breath, moving her foot away from the berry stained floor and trying to relax the scowl on her face- but she couldn’t quite finish said deep breath. During the inhale she’d noticed something in the air- a scent. The same scent that drew her into Eterna City in the first place.

Poffins.

The scent of poffins was always slightly in the air, what with the part of the forest she was in being so close to the cafe and all. But this was different. It was so much more prominent. They had to be close. Bonnabelle’s legs were moving before she could even think about what she was going to do- following the scent all the way to the outskirts of the city. Hidden behind the shrubs at the side of the path, the crouching Bisharp’s hungry eyes scowered the area in search of what her nostrils had picked up. It didn’t take long for her to find the source of the smell on such an empty path, some carefree looking human with a big bag in his hands was obviously the cause. Bonnabelle took a slightly closer look at the human- as much as she wanted what he had she was in no mood to lose to another trainer today. Thankfully he didn’t seem to have any pokeballs on him.

With a fire in her belly and the desire to fill it with anything else in her heart, Bonnabelle leapt forward from the bushes the moment this foolishly relaxed human had crossed her path- aiming to cut straight through the handles of the bag with a Night Slash.

That bag was kind of heavy, thanks the dozen of Poffins inside. Not only that, but some of the treats were filled- perhaps a strange decision, but the cashier didn't seem to mind that much, and sweet jam inside the bready treat was even better to Charle's tastes. But while he was distracted and drooling at the thought, he took a few seconds to realise that his bag was... strangely lighter. He looked down, afraid that the handles had snapped.. but what he saw was arguably worse. A pokemon, right infront of him, having just severed his bag in half. His pupils dilated as adrealine flooded his body, letting out a surprised shout. His body itself didn't seem to hurt- and the blade attack didn't seem to be fire nor electric type, so his nerves were intact. His body relaxed slightly as he realised he was safe, at least for now. His mind then rushing to what the pokemon was doing- The poffins! Of course.. all in all, ten seconds were wasted just thinking about the situation as his eyes darted back down to the pokemon, trying to figure out what they had done in that time.

The kubfu let out an exerted grunt as he threw a Spinarak over his shoulder by one of the legs, sending it barreling against a tree. After standing still for a few seconds to make sure he had won, he bowed and reached in his chest's fur, pulling out the poison needle the arachnid had shot there. "Keep training and get stronger... I'll always be one step ahead of you, though! " He spoke with a little smile as he pulled on his leg, breaking off the strands of the spider's web off his leg. Catching his breath as he stumbled out of the small clearing and into the thick woods, satisfied by the fight. His belly growled, though, and the poffin smell in the air wasn't helping... nevertheless, he had to content himself with what he picked up on his own. Going from bush to bush, eating the sour berries he found along the way- before seeing a puddle of what appeared to be juice in the middle of a path. Perhaps a pokemon crushed the berry without seeing it. He shook his head and kept going straight through the the forest for more sustenance.

Another day, another opportunity to make people smile! He did not find an audience today, though. But that didn't matter to him. Today's forcast went sunshine, after all! At least, according to the holes in the thicket's roof. He started to play with his scales, scratching them with a flat rock he had found on the ground to play his music- The radio in his other arm playing a human tune that he sung over.
"Sun is shinin' in the sky ,There ain't a cloud in sight, It's stopped rainin' everybody's in the play, And don't you know, It's a beautiful new day, hey hey! Runnin' down the avenue, See in the forest how the sun shines brightly , On the trees where once was pity, Mr. Blue Sky is living here today, hey hey!"
He kept walking as he performed, looking around. Pokemon didn't crowd around him or really reveal themselves, but he paid it no mind, continuing to play. If someone was listening to his song out there and it made them happy, he did not need them to show themselves. The music ringing through the trees- although the thick foliage quickly muffled his music, it was still loud enough to make the leaves around Maximus' hiding spot rustle while he strolled right under him, too absorbed by his music to notice the pokemon in hiding- Or that he was headed right towards the city.

( Yahhah Yahhah / open for interaction if Maximus ignores him)

Maximus suddenly stood stock straight, there was noise down below. That had to mean there was some pokemon passing below, or perhaps a human was just running around the woods making some loud noise. He pushed his nose through a bush and watched a purple and yellow shape passing down below him. It was singing, now that there wasn't a buffer of leaves in the way he could tell easily. It wasn't bad either, not that Maximus was some kind of critic. His eyes looked down the path where the pokemon was heading, that lead to Eterna City. Surely the pokemon was planning on heading down to the city. The humans weren't all too welcoming about big pokemon just walking through there, and this one didn't look too small. Oh well, it was none of Maximus's business if this guy wanted to head into the city and put himself at risk... But. Maximus didn't want to just let it walk over there and get hurt or worse. Maximus sighed, and he surrounded himself in another solution, if there was one thing he'd picked up from traveling it was, do not reveal yourself unless you're absolutely sure it's safe, better safe than sorry. He made himself look like a Luxio and made his way down the tree. Maximus jumped down in front of the singer. "Hey, you should... Uh... Be careful. There's a human city this way. NIce singing by the way" Maximus told the Toxtricity. He probably should've thought out what he was going to say before he hopped down but too late now.

“Come on. Let’s head back.” Said the older Lati. However when Ahlamos turned he caught something in the corner of his eye. He immediately tensed up, quickly moving close to Emlas, shielding her. He took a sniff out of the air as he looked closer. The smell of human confections along with the white coat moving through the trees sent him into defensive mode.

“What’s wrong?” Emlas said, clearly not having seen the object of his attention.

“Humans.” He said quickly. Ahlamos moved forward, ushering for Emlas to stay close. He kept an eye on the man as he walked. “What the hell is a human doing in the forest.” He muttered to himself. The road Floaroma town was closer to the edge of the forest but this one was heading deeper in. ‘This could be bad...’ he thought. ‘If he find out nest it won’t be good.’ The Black Eon pokemon was prepared to kill the human immediately if he came to close to their home.

While watching the human however something surprised him. A Bisharp, a Pokémon he knew didn’t normally live in Sinnoh, attacked the man. ‘Maybe I won’t have to kill him after all.’ He thought.

Emlas watched curiously. She never usually got to see humans. Every time they showed up Ahlamos would chase them away. So this was a chance to observe one up close. At lest until Ahlamos stepped in to get rid of him. Her attention was also pretty focused on the bag. What was that smell? It was like berries, but with a warm sweetness to it. Nothing in the forest ever smelled like that. what was he carrying? She kinda hoped the human would forget about the bag when he would be chased away so she could investigate.

Meanwhile farther into the forest. The Lopunny from before was getting more and more frantic as time went on. “Those two are going to be in so much trouble when I find them.” She grumbled. “Making me worry this long.” She scratches at her long fluffy ears, some of the fur being pulled out. Seeing this only made her more angry. “Dang it, I’m going to go bald from all the stress those two cause me.” She took a deep breath. “Alright, they’ve got to be around here some... where...” She was stopped in her tracks upon seeing a small white Pokémon. It kinda looked like a Teddiursa. But the markings were wrong. Just what was that Pokémon. Did it perhaps come from the eastern side of Sinnoh? Lulu has never gone to the Eastern shore so it was a possibility.

Bonnabelle
1596534874938.png

It worked. The human had been startled to such a degree that he seemed rooted to the ground. Unable to hold back a smirk, Bonnabelle thought about the two options she had: outright kill her victim there and then or just make a run for it. Instinct kicked in and she almost readied another attack, but the aroma that drew her here made her remember the whole reason she'd mugged him: the poffins. There was no way she'd be able to slice him up while also not getting him all over the unnatural tasty goodness. Bloody poffins didn't sound good at all. Instead, Bonnabelle settled for just shoving him on the chest with all the poffin-induced strength she could muster before scooping as many poffins as she could into her arms- inadvertently puncturing some of them with her torso blades.

She was just about to take off when her eyes caught something else on the ground. Sitting there in all of its unmatchable glory, somehow untainted and intact amongst all of the chaos, was a single red poffin. Bonnabelle knew exactly what that was- a sweet, smooth poffin made entirely out of Unovian Custap Berries. It was all she could see now; all she could smell; all she could think about. She needed it. Dropping some of the lesser snacks, Bonnabelle picked up the treat from the heavens, pupils dilated wider than the poffin's diameter, and made a break for it. She mumbled something about how humans didn't deserve poffins on her way back into the forest, leaving a trail of crumbs and filling in her wake.

Bonnabelle didn't waste any time upon reaching a place where she could sit down, the Custap poffin she'd carried so delicately was snarfed down in mere moments. While it was easily worth dropping a bunch of the other ones for that one, the moment of bliss was over in just that- a moment. The small smile the treat had managed to bring to her face dissipated into its usual frown as Bonnabelle raised another poffin to her mouth and surveyed the area for threats. There were none, just a Lopunny and her weird non-sick-Cubchoo-child-thing. They didn't look scary at all but Bonnabelle kept a steely eye on them as she chewed on a third poffin.

Charles flinched as he saw the pokemon glare at him, taking a step back. Before continuing to stare at her as she grabbed his favourite kind of poffin and ran off. He let out a deep sigh, looking down at the mess the sharp pokemon had made. There was no way to really catch up to them, after all they had the advantage in the forest, and even if he did find them again, he would probably get harmed. That pokemon didn't belong in this region... maybe they were raised by a trainer and abandonned? They weren't looking for affection, anyways. He had no choice but to get on his knees, grabbing the intact poffins and putting them back in the bag, before looking at the severed ones. They would have some dirt inside them, and some of the filling had oozed out, but they may still be useful for the pokemon. As he turned around to grab one the poffins that had rolled behind him, his gaze was directed towards the two legendary pokemon. He swore he heard something out there... and he wasn't about to just let the remaining of his poffins get stolen again. The sooner he could take them to his house just nearby, the better...

The musician pokemon looked down at the relatively small pokemon, ending his music with a little flourish after checking no one else was listening to the music. "Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it." He said, looking down and flashing a big smile at the Luxio, giving him a thumbs up. His eyes diverting towards the path- seeing some of the taller buildings in the distance. "Oh, you're right, the city is that way." As he speaks, he still taps his feet on the ground rythmically. "What's so wrong with humans, anyways? I'm sure they would enjoy my music. After all, it's inspired from theirs." He points at the radio on his shoulder, before lifting his head in thought, like he was trying to find an excuse. "Team Galaxy isn't around anymore. We should thank them for that, yeah? Why not sing to them to thank them?" He said, smiling, satisfied by his words. Slowly skipping around the Luxios to go straight for the city, if he isn't stopped.

The Kubfu scanned his surroundings, his body still sore and scratched after his last battle and his belly filled with the sour berries. As his gaze crossed Bonabelle's, a smirk drew on his face and he quickly strolled closer. Giving a small look to the lopunny- they seemed to be having trouble with something. Maybe he could help them once he was done- or if they asked him. But for now, there was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. He planted his feet infront of the intimidating pokemon, bowing infront of them before getting in a battle stance. "Hey, uhm... ma'am?" He tilted his head, not sure from their appearance alone. "Uhm, hello, warrior. I want to fight you, right now. I beleive it'll make both of us stronger!" he says eagerly, already hopping from one leg to the other- Obviously ready to tussle, even though he was much smaller than Bonnabelle and still not fully recovered from his last fight.

After walking out of the Pokemart to grab some items to tend to wounds, Alistair stood in front of the entrance and took a look around. He saw the beauty of Eterna city in its full glory. "I heard so much of this region, but this city takes the cake compared to some of the other cities in Unova!" He then let Venin, Serenity, and Genesis out of their pokeballs for a nice stretch and a breath of fresh air. He looked at his partners with a smile. "Alright everyone, take this time to stretch out and breathe in some fresh air! I cannot stand having you cooped up in your pokeballs for a while y'know." The mighty Tyrantrum known as Venin shook his fur as Serenity stretched. Genesis looked around, the massive mechanical insect looked at the sky and then at the environment. This was certainly a view to enjoy. "Master, where are we?" The genesect asked as Alistair chuckled. "We are in Eterna City, Genny! Though I guess we do a lot of travelling, so it is kinda hard to keep track for ya, huh?" "Hell yeah it is! First minute we are in alola, then next we are here! What gives!?" Venin roared in a frustrated tone as Alistair scratched the fossil's chin. "Easy big guy. Let's not get rowdy already now." Serenity chuckled at the two, her trainer had always been a kind soul, both to humans and pokemon. (Open for interaction at any time)

Ahlamos tensed up when the human looked up in their general direction. As far as he knew, the thick canopy of the trees hid the two of them from sight. Did he know? Ahlamos readied himself from above the trees, his eyes locked on the human in a predator fashion. The only reason why he haven’t sprang from the trees was because Ahlamos knew there was a chance it was a coincidence. He didn’t want to attack the human if he didn’t have to. Humans that tend to go missing usually bring more humans to investigate. Emlas stayed behind Ahlamos. It was one thing to observe a human, but now it seemed like the human knew they were there.

Lulu shook her head. This was no time to dwell on the bear Pokémon. Beside, it seemed like it was confronting another Pokémon she had never seen before. A Pokémon the stood tall like her and was covered in blades. Definitely didn’t want to get mixed up in that if she didn’t have to. Beside, she had more important things to do then to get into a tussle. Heading closer to the edge of the forest however she froze in her tracks when she saw a human in a white coat. She quickly hopped out of sight behind the trees to avoid drawling attention. “Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap.” She stammered, looking around for a way out without drawing attention. However while looking she saw a small glint in the trees. Lulu tilted her head in confusion. She looked back behind her to see what the human was doing. He seemed to be picking up some stuff off the ground. Now was her chance. Using the powerful legs her species was known for, she jumped up into the tree canopy, landing on a branch. Now at an even level to the glint she saw what was cussing her anxiety this entire morning. Two young dragons. Lulu wanted to scream out ‘Where have you two been!?’ But the fact there was a human directing below them stopped her. There was also the fact that the black one was very focused right now. Looking back down at the human she knew exactly what was going on. She hoped this human knew what was good for him and left the forest. Any deeper in and Ahlamos would most likely jump him. She was ready to high jump kick his face into the ground to knock him out before Ahlamos killed him if she had to.

The human kept staring for a split second, before shaking his head and turning back towards his home. He was still unaware of the two legendaries's presence, having filled his bag full of the salvageable poffins- leaving crumbs and a few whole that were too cut up or dirty for him to want to salvage. As he held the bag from the bottom with one hand, he took out his phone with the other, taking a sharp right into a little path, only needing to go forward a couple dozen meters before being infront of his home's door. He quickly checked the contacts he had on his phone, before calling a certain trainer. They were in the city currently, but he had not spoken to them yet. Hopefully they could help him with his experiment- or at worse, act as a bodyguard so incidents like this did not happen again.

Maximus looked at the Toxtricity in confusion. This pokemon was arguing that humans weren't all that bad, sure Maximus knew not all humans were bad. He was raised by one after all but to walk into a city full of pokemon trainers seemed like this Toxtricity was asking to be caught by some trainer. The Toxtricity just sort of completely ignored his words and kept on going. Maximus wasn't really sure what he should do at that point. If the Toxtricity really wanted to head into the city it wasn't really any of his business to stop him. Warning him was really the only thing he could do. Maximus pawed at the ground in thought, all the distraction of the situation caused his illusion to dissipate. Although unfortunately to Maximus he didn't notice that he no longer looked like a mid-sized electric feline and instead was his normal black and red vulpine self. "Good luck on not getting caught" Maximus called out to the musical pokemon before he just sort of turned around and began to walk away still not realizing his illusion was gone.

"Alright everyone, let's look around town, see what's what." Alistair said as he gestured for his pokemon to follow him. They walked around Eterna city, with him chatting with the locals after they asked about his pokemon. "They have been in my life ever since I was a kid, they are family to me." He would often reply as he kept walking. He had talked to a friend of his from Hoenn. "He did say he was going to be in this city, but I do not see him anywhere..." He thought as his phone went off, and took it out. He recognized the name. "Hello, This is Alistair Beale." He said as he looked over at Venin, who seemed to be sniffing the air for something as Serenity shook her head. Genesis seemed to be interested in the forest nearby, as he just stared into the green sea of trees.

Lulu and the Lati siblings carefully followed the human from up in the trees, the Lopunny making things easier on herself by hitching a ride with Ahlamos which the older Eon obliged. The three floated up in the canopy out of sight. When the human approached a shabby looking house the trio was surprised. "There is a human living in the forest?" Lulu whispered in shock as the man disappeared inside the house.

"Apparently..." The black Eon grumbled, clearly not happy with this development. "This had to have been recent. There is no way we've missed him living him over the past years."

"No doubt about that." Said Lulu as she climbed off of the dragon. From there she used the branches to make her way down to the ground. The two Lati following behind her. Emlas was quite during this exchange, she wasn't quite sure what to make of this. On one hand it was kind a scary, they were approaching a real human's home. From all the stories she had been told by her older brother and Lulu, humans were scary beings that could do a great deal of harm. On the other, humans had been a point of curiosity for Emlas due to the miraculous things they could do. From technology to even food. She never got to see any of it up close of course, Lulu and her brother made sure of that. But it still intrigued her.

Back with the Group they slowly approached the house, making sure to stay low to avoid being seen through the windows. Ahlamos's body shimmered as his feathers turned clear, making him vanish from sight as he rose up to look inside. "From what I can tell he's talking on one of those communication devices." He explained to the two not looking inside from a lack of invisibility. "He's not talking about us. At lest not yet."

"It could be that he didn't see us." Emlas suggested.

"I for one agree, he didn't really express seeing anything out of the ordinary upon leaving."

"That may be True, but I want to make absolutely sure." Weather or not the human had seen them, Ahlamos was prepared to take preparations to make sure this human didn't get comfortable here in the forest. He himself wasn't comfortable with the idea. The knowledge of what this human knew about them so far would tell Ahlamos just how much time he had to make plans. Weather he had to storm the house right now, or if they could head back to the nest and make plans to deal with this possible threat.

Charles
the human looked at his house with a little sigh. A week and it was already a mess. "Hey, Alistair. I might want your help. I wanted to use poffins in experiments but I think they're proven more effective than I thought...I might need your protection." he said with a sigh. He had a feeling in his gut, something still didn't quite feel right. "..who knows, i've seen some pokemon that do not belong here. Maybe one's been abandonned and you could add them to your team, I don't know." he sighed, grabbing one of the poffins in the bag and chewing on it as he waited for a response. His eyes landed towards the spray can that was laid half hasardly in a corner of the room. A repel.. it may be useful, if pokemons kept being insistant.

Leostar
The musical pokemon turned around as he heard Maximus speak. His eyes widening as he saw that the pokemon's form had completely changed! "Woah, what was *that*? That looks so cool!" He said, a big smile on his head. "Wait, you... you look like a shadow type now! What kind of technique is that? It's super cool! Do you think I could learn it?" He says, now completely disinterested from the city and focused on that swell technique. "Wait a second, are you a Zoroark or a Luxio? Or are you both?"

"Pokemon that don't belong, eh? Well I got three strong pokemon just stretching out right now. And as far as adding them to my team... They would need to get used to Venin first, while he loves young ones, he scares the daylights out of them. Anyways, got any extra poffins?" Alistair half joked as he started to walk while on the phone, with Serenity, Venin and Genesis following him. Genesis stared at the phone curiously. He had seen the device many times before in the hands of others, and Alistair had pulled it out a few times, but it left the mechanical bug to wonder what it does besides communicating and taking pictures of scenes with its lens.
"Are you home? Maybe I can swing by and we can get to the bottom of this." He stopped, and looked around as the people began to stare at Genesis, having never seen a pokemon like him before. Venin growled, forcing the people to hurry back to their business, while also receiving a glare from Alistair. SadSnake SadSnake

Maximus's eyes widened when he saw the look on the other pokemon's face. He looked down at himself and sighed, he really needed to keep his head on his shoulders better when it came to keeping up disguises. Sure he was always great at keeping it up when it came to humans, he wasn't so great at keeping it up with other pokemon and it often got him into lots of dangerous trouble. "Well, I am Dark type. Thanks for the praise on the disguise but if I'd been really good it wouldn't have just disappeared". Maximus was a little surprised when the Toxtricity asked if he could learn how to form illusions. "I don't think you could learn. Forming an illusion is an ability that all Zoroark just sort of have, I've heard that some other pokemon can do it but I've never seen another do it before. I personally just use disguises to try and keep from causing trouble. Pokemon aren't quick to fight when they're dealing with something a lot smaller or larger than they are, that and there aren't many pokemon like me around here" Maximus tried to explain why he'd hidden his identity. In truth he just liked felt more comfortable hiding. "I'm uh... I'm just a Zoroark". Maximus almost forgot the electric pokemon's last question.

Within the barriers of travel that she was able to achieve with her team, even though she had only two gym badges to her name, Kimber could go anywhere she would please with her Hydreigon. It was likely to contest with most of the pokemon in the area; any threats that she'd be attacked by or need backup from her hydriegon Yuri would keep its three heads on her. However, even though Eterna City is showing its age along with the forest it accompanies, that's half the reason why she stays there. Unlike many other cities and towns around her, let alone in sinnoh, it felt like it carried a weight, and a history to it. This feeling was complimented by the massive Eterna forest outside of the city grounds and the statue of both the rulers of space and time, Dialga and Palkia respectively. It's not every day when Kimber passes by these statues, but every time she does it fills her and her pokemon with this great feeling of wonder and and atmospheric distance from the rest of the world.

Kimber was currently carrying a pile of logs along with her flying hydreigon Yuri, who was carrying just as much, and her smaller but still sweet Mio, who could only carry one branch at a time. These pieces of wood were coming from the Eterna forest, where trees marked to be cut down due to being too far out of city limits (or directly harming the ecosystem) were chopped down and offered as construction wood. Sure Timburr helped here and there carry the wood too, but their numbers weren't as great. Kimber's blue winter jacket kept her warm during the winter and cool for the summer; it seems like part of her look at this point, but it was rather annoying; the wood grains and sap pushing against her coat. Under her coat she had a blank tank top and jeans on; she didn't have a wide selection of clothes for her to choose from... one of the downsides of being a wandering rogue attempting to find
peace and happiness.

While Alistair was on the phone, Venin had picked up a strange scent. He perked his head up and took a big whiff of the air. He smelled a scent he was unsure of, and decided to check it out. When the others weren't looking, he followed the trail, which eventually led to Kimber and Yuri. "So that Pokemon is what was smellin' funny... Haven't seen a species like that one before." The Tyrantrum scoped them out, before moving slowly closer to get a closer look. It was no doubt he was acting like a predator, but this time he had no intention of killing the two in front of him. He lowly growled, trying to get their attention.

Alistair was chatting with Charles, and began to look around, and noticed that Venin was missing. "Oh for the love of...! Charles, I will have to call you again later, Venin ran off somewhere and I gotta find him before all hell breaks loose!" He promptly hung up, and began to sprint around town, looking for a massive tyrantrum that some how was able to sneak away. Genesis and Serenity were able to keep up easily, but it looked to the citizens of Eterna that Alistair was being chased by the Genesect and Drampa.

"VENIN!! VENIN!! WHERE DID YOU RUN OFF TO!?!" He called out, with no avail. TranCalamity TranCalamity SadSnake SadSnake

(I realized with the exclusivity of where deino can be in a region I've restricted my character's island of origin to be from kalos, thus making it odd for me to suddenly go to sinnoh, but I'm not going to worry too much about location inconsistencies, as I'm sure it isn't supplemental material to keep track of)

Even though Kimber was Yuri's rightful owner, it was barely a responsibility she could hold by herself; Yuri's brute force and spurts of anger being a major problem. Yuri, in her protective self, quickly gets the attention of the low intimidating growl, with the instant thought that danger was afoot despite their location. Kimber, however, was well used to these false threats because she's rarely actually encountered a pokemon that would actively attack her. If you leave them alone, they leave you alone, ya know?

Kimber, turning towards Yuri as she stops and looks towards the growling: "Yuri, there shouldn't be anything over there. Come on, we're almost at the drop-off site." But Yuri wouldn't budge. It was if a trigger in Yuri's head instantly sets her off into this hyper-aware state. Yuri snarls lowly and gobs her jaw, waiting there for a couple of seconds, ensuring the coast be clear. Mio, on the other hand, froze up and stared blindly at where Yuri was staring, a hard stance of concern at least leaving him hard to push down if a surprise attack were to approach them

Charles
The scientist sighed as the pokemon trainer abruptly ended the call. "Do what you need to do." He shrugged and shook his head as he hung up. Well, he probably wouldn't swing around for a while... so he decided to set up his experiment first. Hopefully Alistair would get his problem sorted quickly. Charles grabbed two poffins from the bag, opening his window and setting one on the edge. Then, he went back to his bed in the same room, laying down in it and nibbling on his personal poffin. He didn't expect any pokemon to snatch the treat while he was looking directly at it- but he had another plan incase this one didn't give results. Looking up at the automatic camera on the inside of his home that would photograph any adventurous pokemon that enter his home by the window.
Leostar
Leostar tilted his head as he listened to the pokemon's explanations. Oh, that was such a shame...he could probably give so much of a better show if he could change his appearance at will. "Oh well. Too bad! No use spending my time complaining about it, though. I'll keep an eye out if there's an opportuinity to learn it." The pokemon looked at the zoroark's face and smiled. "Well, alright. Anything I could do for you...?" He didn't really understand why that pokemon was in so much danger, but.. meh. It's not like he was especially safe, just sleeping and wandering around on his own. Best he could do is help him, or just stay out of his way.

Venin took notice of Yuri's attentiveness and alertness, and advanced cautiously. He has their attention now, and slowly walked toward them, with a submissive demeanor. He did not want to start a fight, and clearly did not know this pokemon or what it could do, all that he knew is that is was stronger than he was, and way more aggressive. "You sure look different... What are ya?" He asked the pokemon, though incomprehensible to any humans listening. He stopped right where he was, in plain sight with his head and tail low in a submissive stance.

"VENIN!! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Alistair called out, his voice hitting Venin's ears. Alistair was getting worried that his Tyrantrum may be trying to pick a fight, or maybe just picked up a new scent and wondered off after it. Maybe. But one thing is for sure, Alistair needed to catch up before something bad happens.

Yuri's glance at the huge beast suddenly revealing himself and taking the element of surprise away allowed her to properly give him a snarky grin. Her voice (to Venin, again) would sound very cocky and protective to herself

Yuri: "What kind of first question is THAT to ask to someone?"

she turns her side towards him as if she was about to invest more of her time back on the task at hand rather than continuing the conversation, however one of her arms (specifically her right arm) had a different tone to the submissive dino

Kora: "We're from the Unova region, and we're a hydriegon!" she says to him with such excitement despite it sounding like she was tired from carrying the wood. It was a completely different tone and voice compared to Yuri... and that is why Yuri and her left arm give her a deathly stare.

Meanwhile Kimber, not quite being able to read this new pokemon's feelings, froze up wondering if this "submissive demeanor" was just him starting a charging attack. If the tyrantrum was to attack, she knew Yuri would start to go crazy... but did she have to attack the tyrantrum was the ultimate question she couldn't decipher

And Mio, the small little shrimp he is compared to everyone else in the conflict, almost hides himself from the interaction, inching himself somewhat behind Kimber's left leg. His voice was surely not powerful enough to be heard in the giant's ear lobes
