The Town of Demonia
Welcome to our town newcomer, if you are moving here, we hope that you have found yourself a nice place to stay in and enjoy what our town has to offer. This really is a wonderful place to live in, we have schools that provide a great education, a library with just about any book that you'd want to read in it, stores and shops that sell the best kind of objects and necessities, a beautiful park and woods with lots of trails to go hiking. And best of all, in our town we have a large community with the friendliest and nicest of people...
And ghosts...
Yes, to be honest, at first glance our town may look like just any normal place to live, but the people who come to live here soon realize that it holds a dark secret. For years, our town has been a hot spot for paranormal activity and ghosts. Ghosts roam these streets and live among us in our homes, some not even from this town, but from far away places. No one knows why it is like this here, but the people in our town have become used to it and learned to treat these spirits with respect so that they may not harm us or our families. Over the years it has worked and we have just simply grown accustomed to a life filled with spirits who follow us, entities who haunt our homes, and ghosts who walk the streets at night.
But for the people who choose to move here, like yourself, it's not quite the same. Normal people don't understand what ghosts and spirits are like and will either unknowingly or intentionally disturb them or disrespect them, which can lead to very bad things that will happen to them or their loved ones. Most who come here and find out the truth will leave immediately once they discover the truth about this town, but a few brave ones refuse to leave and want to stay, despite the fact that they may see ghosts just about everyday.
So, newcomer, now that you know that this town is haunted, do you still want to stay?
There will be two types of characters in this RP: People and Ghosts
Rules about role-playing and making characters:
- If you choose to be a person, you can either be a person who has just moved here, or you can be someone who is already living in the town.
- If you choose to be a ghost, I'd prefer if you are either haunting one of the character's homes, or haunting the person themselves, just so they can interact with the human characters a bit more but still feel free to make a ghost character that just wanders around town, that's fine too.
- Don't make your character's too perfect or have them with no flaws or weaknesses, but don't make them bad at everything either, make a balanced character or characters.
- Feel free to make your character's bio be as simple or detailed as you want.
- No killing another person's character without their permission.
And that's about it, we will begin role-playing once I think we have enough characters, though more people are welcome to join and jump in later if they want.
