Personality: Ciara is a full on nutball, as her past experience had broken her mind. She is often in her own world, having tea parties with her Pokemon and the ghosts that possess her, she is also quite friendly, willingly to put up with anyone that puts up with her craziness. Her world sometimes intersects with the normal world and that comes across especially in pokemon battles, while she still has that trademark craziness of hers, she is actually able to focus on the battle thinking up strategy’s on the fly. Despite how young she is, she is the go to person when it comes to anything ghost.

History: Ciara was born in Wheldrake and was the daughter of the owner of the mine. She grew up quite lonely only having Minna for company. However all that changed when she turned 8, ya see Ciara was very closely connected to ghosts and so she was often possessed by ghosts, at night being creepy stealing people’s stuff, damaging property, eventually the towns people started getting fed up by all of it, started rumours about her calling her a cursed child and that her parents were evil for even having her, which in turn made her pull her away from people and stay in the mansion more often. Eventually after a few more weeks of possession from Ciara, the townsfolk stormed the mansion, took her parents while she hid and burned them alive, trying to cleanse the town of evil and please Arceus. A few days later after the burning, they heard her crying from the mansion and so a few of the townspeople found her, dragged her out towards the middle of the town, as her Gardelure followed after them and as she was tied up ready to be burned, Minna unleashed all her fire to save Ciara, the fire spread everywhere, burning everything houses, toys, and the souls of everyone there, leaving shrivelled husks of people and burning buildings. For the next 13 years, she travelled the region with only Minna and eventually Amy and Jadis, going around the region learning all she can about ghost pokemon, as well as learning about all she could about the gym leader, elite four and the champion, although there wasn’t much information on the Champion, just that it was a woman. Eventually she found a note on a post about helping fight an Abomination of a pokemon, so she took the note and decided to go where they were asked to go

Legion is very affectionate towards everyone that he meets. He has a personal fondness for his trainer and loves to follow her around. They share a close personal bond, and Hazel loves carrying him within her arms. Legion is a tad bit naive and is always getting himself into trouble. He would much rather explore than battle but becomes fiercely loyal of his trainer whenever she's in danger. Unlike most Doomy Legion enjoys sunbathing and seems to hate water. He's also naturally curious and will slime any person that he likes.

Backstory:

Hazel found Legion more dead than alive after he was abandoned and left to die being deemed "Too weak" by his previous owners. The young girl took the injured Pokemon to her parents, and together they nursed him back to full health. When it was time to release Legion back into the wild he refused to leave the family, and they were unsure what to do with him. He physically attached himself to Hazel, and their bond was clear from that point onward. He was officially Hazel's first and only partner Pokemon, and they've been together ever since.

Despite this, deep down, he's still the same old Pokemon and cares deeply for his trainer.

Scar earned his nickname because of a large gash that took out his left eye. He's mean to everyone that isn't his trainer and viciously snaps at people despite his small size. He has a rugged appearance that suggests he's been through some rough things and never smiles. For some reason, he's overly protective of Hazel and dislikes people getting close to her. Although Scar does have an affectionate side, he only shows it in the comfort of his trainer. The Vendour doesn't seem to have any problems with his other party members, however.

Backstory:

Hazel met Scar after she found him mourning at an abandoned graveyard. He was severely discouraged and refused to leave the graveside that held his now deceased trainer. Every day the young girl brought the Vendour food and worked on befriending him so that she could coax him out of his depressed shell. Unfortunately, one day the town that was near the graveyard went up in flames and Hazel was forced to rescue the pup seeing how he refused to leave his owner's side. Both made it out alive, but Hazel was gravely burned, leaving Scar to feel guilty for his past actions. The two eventually became great friends, and he swore to protect his new trainer with his life.

She rarely shows any sympathy and is extremely rude, showing little to no trust or respect for other people. Early in the story, she appears rather composed on the surface, but she is actually quite emotionally unstable. However, Jadis is actually extremely insecure, mostly because she's afraid that everyone around her will betray her. In order to avoid being betrayed, she keeps people at a distance by treating them like garbage. She takes advantage of people not knowing her Champion Status, not knowing she is the champion, she is rude and merciless. Jadis can be known to be antagonistic and mean. She'll insult others, make them feel insecure in place to cover up her insecurity. Though through the thick skin and rude words, she has a kinder and softer side. She loves Pokemon dearly, and takes pride in her team and status of Champion. She focuses on being a trainer as much as she can, and protecting the Region that she holds Championship over, and though the people she cares for are very little, she tries to be as civil and as kind as possible towards them though nobody is free from her malicious nature.
History:
Jadis was abused in her household as a child being raised from a single father, as her mother died in childbirth. Suffering from Emotional, Verbal and Physical abuse, this is the cause as to why she acts like she does now. Being raised around Pokemon, she had her first fusion Pokemon at the age of 11. Her and this Pokemon bonded heavily, and on the night that everything went wrong, her Pokemon protected her from her abusive father. At the end of the night, Jadis was an Orphan and taken in by other family members. She almost completely erased the memories of the night from her brain while she became a PokeFusion trainer. She lived in the big city with her distant relatives, usually always on her own with just her Pokemon. After all, they just had to house Jadis until she was 18, they didn't need to give her any love or support. By the time she was 18 she moved out and became the regions Champion through intense Pokemon training and battling, though she kept her identity hidden from the public. She now presents herself as the Champion's assistant, one that speaks for Champion though she is right in front of everyone. While the identity of the Champion is hidden from the Public, it is not hidden from the Elite 4 and there is a rumor circulating that the Champion is rude and mean to her underlings, at one point abusing an Elite 4 member for insulting her Pokemon.
The Champion of the Region is known for having the ability to summon a Legendary in times of need, harboring the stone of Summonry to do such a thing.

Personality: While sarcasm does have a tendency to seep into his responses to others, overall it’s obvious that Vincent is an upstanding guy. While his profession may leave a few questions on his morality, he tends to go after those he deems have deserved it and is pleasant to others. Make no mistake, he’s in it for himself.

Vincent tends to sound a lot like a cowboy sort as he speaks, which is no surprise as that is how he models himself. He is polite to women, removing his hat when he greets him. He often teases men though or stares them down. There is certainly something to be said about a man on the back of a demonic horse flanked by massive wolf like creatures. His soft side comes out when he deals with stolen Pokemon or recently hatched Pokemon.


History:

If you know his name, you either hired him before or you fear that he’s after you. It’s said that once there’s a target on your back the last thing you hear is the howls of his hounds. No one escapes when Vincent Rei targets you. Of course these are all just stories told by terrified criminals.

While unlikely to talk about his past Vince has made a reputation for being a bounty hunter and debt collector, occasionally he will go into mercenary work for certain people. He mostly deals with those who steal purebred eggs or take out loans for purebred pokemon but can't pay.

Vincent's patents we're breeders of purebreds, specializing in Ponytas and Vulpix. One day they denied selling a purebred egg to a man and the result came in the form of an attack. This attacked killed his father and destroyed their home. Their Pokemon went missing it ran off during the attack after being let out. Vincent is convinced many were stolen but during the event it was impossible to tell. With what money they had from selling Pokemon, what remained of his family moved. Vincent kept replaying the night over and over. He decided he would be what men like that fear.

As a general rule, no one but his family calls him Virgil. Doing so will end badly.

Caitlyn is an extroverted young woman, and is very assertive and confident in her decision making. She’s opinionated, and not afraid to speak her mind in the slightest. Especially if she feels like something is wrong. She tends to stand by her choices, even if they land her in hot water. Her friendly and eager personality makes her popular among friend groups and certain social circles. She enjoys supporting others, especially loved ones, and making them happy with social outings or small intimate gatherings. Caitlyn is easily bored with discussions of theories or politics; she would rather discuss trends, or gossip. She can always be spotted at a party finding time to chat and laugh with everyone! Her devotion goes further than just breezing through because she has to though. Caitlyn truly enjoys hearing about her friends’ relationships and activities, remembering little details, and always standing ready to talk things out with warmth and sensitivity. If things aren’t going right, or there’s tension in the room, Caitlyn is usually the first to pick up on it and to try to restore harmony and stability to the group. She’s a pretty altruistic person, and takes her responsibility to help and do the right thing seriously. She loves to be of service to people, enjoying any role that allows her to participate in a meaningful way, so long as she knows that she is valued and appreciated. However her moral compass is founded in what is traditional, prefering to uphold clearly established rules.


Unfortunately due to some development issues, Caitlyn has a hard time handling her emotions. She was often ignored by her family growing up, which eventually forced her to resort to drastic measures to get their attention. Due to this, Caitlyn tends to be more of a problem then she realizes, especially with her mischievous nature. While she tends to tease and joke around with others, she forgets that sometimes it’s unwanted. More sensitive people might misunderstand her playfulness, and this often causes fights. Conflict is not well received by her. She might act tough, and talk a big game, but she’s actually very reactive. She has the tendency to act without thinking, especially if she’s being challenged for her ways. Due to being prideful, attacks on her character and appearance makes her irate. She also has trouble realizing when she might have crossed a line, and is not quick to apologize for heated exchanges or ill met decisions. Attacks on her friends and loved ones makes her extremely volatile, and sometimes physically violent. In the end her behavior becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, and she ends up scaring people away with her intense personality. In the end making her feel lonely, unwanted, unloved, and often misunderstood. Due to this, she often latches onto the few friends she manages to keep. Developing an irrational fear of being abandoned by them, and thus makes Caitlyn possessive and clingy. It’s an unflattering trait to have, usually only making her fears come true as she suffocates her friends to the point that they leave her. Additionally, Caitlyn struggles with her body image since she was often bullied in school for her boyish appearance as a child.


She likes stargazing, candy, sweets, spicy foods, pink, festivals, amusement parks, malls, shopping centers, pools, water parks, trying new things, boba tea, soda, bubblegum, fashion, night walks, camping, the beach, and many other things. She dislikes crying in front of others, being challenged, storms, pokemon abuse, excessive breeding, bitter foods, bland foods, disloyalty, and many other things.


History
Cailtyn grew up in a full house with not enough money and love to go around. She has seven other siblings, three parents (a dead beat dad, a mother that’s too tired to spend time with her kids due to overworking herself, and a step-dad who was always on leave in the military), and a senile grandmother who can barely take care of herself. Her eldest sibling moved out early in her childhood, the other two eldest siblings were often too busy trying to keep the house together and taking care of their grandmother to really spend time with the younger siblings, the one closest to her age was never home, and the other two were too young to follow Caitlyn’s more mature hobbies. This lead to Caitlyn being left to her own devices growing up with a lack of affection one would normally receive as a child. She was expected to take of herself and entertain herself, and despite sharing similar interests with the children at her school, she was often bullied due to her patchwork hand me downs and boyish looks. She was constantly teased and made fun of early in life, and sadly adopted the same behaviour while she was at home. She started acting out by bullying her other siblings, and while that gave her attention it sure as hell didn’t give her the affection and love that she craved. In the end she became more and more estranged from her family. Things escalated over time, with Caitlyn becoming physical with the girls that bullied her in school, especially when they picked on the few friends she had. Eventually she was expelled for her behaviour, but it didn’t really matter. Her parents were too busy to care. Things didn’t start getting better for Caitlyn until she met Kiki, her Lickisuar. The pokemon had been injured during a bad storm, so Caitlyn decided to nurse it back to health. Feeling a kinship with this lost Lickisuar, she decided to keep it as a companion. When it was finally time for her to become a trainer, she got a chanchop as a starter pokemon and left home. Caitlyn never liked battling, seeing her companions get hurt bothered her a lot, so she had to find a different way to raise and train them. She struggled to get by due to this, but eventually found work at a daycare center. Provided with a steady income and a space to safely train her pokemon, Caitlyn settled down at the closest town of the daycare center. Over time she developed a bond with her co-workers, and became an active part in the community. Her hard-work and kindness eventually earned her a best friend, River.

History:
Graduating top of her class, valedictorian in highschool, she has her life set ahead of her. Countless scholarships, from regular schools to trainer schools. Though none of it excited her. She turned them all away and left home looking for adventure and excitement. She never found it. But in an attempt to find it, she joined Team Chaos. She viewed their morals and ideals somewhat aligning with hers. To rid the region of fake trainers and purify the region. At least, that's what she thought. After being in Team Chaos for a while, and gaining the role of admin, she saw what Team Chaos really was. An abomination of an organization. The cruelty to Pokemon was something she couldn't stand, and since she was an admin, she learned of what they were cooking up in that lab of theirs. Believing that was too much for her to handle, she heard the Champion's Messenger Press conference. That's when she left, believing she could help the Champion take down team Chaos.

Personality: Orion is a friendly guy, gets along with most people he comes across and is always polite. He tends to look on the bright side of things and is generally at his happiest when digging in the dirt. He certainly loves pokemon and the fusions that have been created to the point that he is almost obsessive and absolutely adores talking about all the things he's studying. You'll typically find Orion with a smile on his face and dirt covered hands.


History: Son of a professor, who became well known for being disheveled constantly and absent minded, he had been praised for his brilliant mind but no one ever wanted to work with him because of how out there he was. Any insane story you can think of, his father likely did, and that reputation stuck with him until the day he passed. Near the end of his life Orion's father had locked anyone but his son out. Rumors circled that he had done something he shouldn't have but it had been hidden for a long time. Orion often had to apologize for the actions of his father but there was no doubt he cared deeply for the man. As such while insults about his father annoy him, he does his best to hide them knowing people didn't know the man he was behind the crazy.

After the passing of his father, Orion took the one pokemon his father had, a creature his father created to act as an assistant in the lab in moving heavy things. His father called it a Wereserker after legends of berserkers who would wear cloaks of animals when they entered combat. Orion just called him James, because that was what he always called him. The creature helps move large rocks during digs and helps to get down quickly towards fossils, which have become a true passion of Orion. His interests in study are all tied to bones, and how fossil pokemon affect fusions when introduced into the DNA line. This is partly the reason why he took a liken to one of his other pokemon, a Persrein, a creature that looks ancient but is modern. His newest pokemon is the Growlbone.

His life long goal is to see if there will ever be a fusion that causes a Tyrantrum to fly, which may make him sound almost as insane as his father was.

Personality: Boisterous and charismatic, Earl tackles problems head on with a good attitude, and a partner pokemon at his side. At least, that's how he used to be; nowadays, he's much more distracted and prone to stare into the distance.

History: Earl is a freelance archaeologist, traveling to many regions to take part in excavations, expeditions, and exciting finds. While not being one of the eggheads responsible for knowing the gritty science of it all, he's rather knowledgeable in many ancient cultures of the world. His most recent trip brought him to the Alolan region, whereupon he took part in discovering new rooms underneath the Temple of the Moon. Surprisingly, many artifacts were well preserved here, and hidden passageways connected to the other islands. Needless to say, the grant money wasn't wasted this time. This trip even allowed a chance encounter with an Ultra Beast, a Xurkitree; which the team scrambled to fend off. Earl managed to be lucky enough to catch it, thanks to help from Aether Foundation employees involved with the expedition.

After returning back to his home region, Earl and his team were tasked to put together a report based on what they found. His old partner, Porygon2, made the research and data compilation a cinch. Surprisingly, the ruins of Alola managed to connect with the ruins of his region, with many markings matching up and seeming to direct him toward something. With the grant money used up, Earl was on his own to explore the ruins. Hours of sifting through dusty rooms, and old scrap on the ground, he uncovered a mural of sorts; it depicted a strange fusion pokemon. A Sigilyph combined with Unown; a creature such as that was bound to be interesting. It was his Porygon2 that discovered it actually existed in the ruins; a discovery which Earl didn't hesitate to catch.

And that brings us to today, with things looking not so good now. Turns out the Sigilown is a creepy thing; it's obedient and isn't malevolent at all, thankfully. However, every time Earl has it out of it's ball, people around, including himself, hear whispering in their ears. He succeeded in acquiring a dubious disc to upgrade his Porygon2 to a Porygon-Z, yet the corrupted code has made it spaz and go haywire consistently. His remaining partner, Xurkitree, is ambivalent at best, and doesn't necessarily care much about it's surroundings. At least it seems to understand how Earl is feeling at the moment.

Coming to the Aster region, he's part of a small scouting team searching for links between pokemon fusions back in the ancient past, and all of the ones available today. He's happy to have taken the job, though it's more of a therapeutic getaway to figure out how to help his partner Porygon-Z, whilst keeping himself sane.

Zappina Surge is largely a grounded, practical person. She has an energetic and straightforward personality. She is aware of her height and is rather self-conscious about it. Her family is known for their military fortitude, but she throws herself into stereotypical feminine pursuits such as cooking, sewing and dancing in an effort to affirm her femininity. Having been something of an outcast most of her life, due to her intimidating height. Zappina tends to be a bit explosive and outspoken, when angered or passionate about something. Surge has a slightly rough way of speaking, particularly when irritated. While not exactly “book-smart”, she’s smart enough to have practically raised herself. She has a “big sister” personality that makes her good at giving advice.
As for personality flaws, she has a tendency to be highly impulsive, charging into danger when others hesitate. This had led her to take some rather drastic actions. She also occasionally forgets her own strength. She has a habit of falling for older, handsome men. When these crushes inevitably end, she bounces back fairly quickly. She has a problem when battling she overly uses electric puns, it’s a form or annoyance, she tries to throw the opponent off. While they are agitated at her puns, it takes their attention away from the battle at hand.
History:
The surges are known for not only their electric Pokémon but the military tactics they employ. In her family there is an expectation and duty to serve in the armed forces. She was expected to join the military from birth, but before she was at an age that she could join the forces she was a hyperactive excited child. She loved the electric pokemon she grew up around and soon she was given her first pokemon when she was around five years old. It was a Magicamo (magickarp/Tynamo), which only knew splash. Zappina loved her pokemon and would play with it every day, carrying his bowl around with her.
When she turned ten, she followed in family tradition and was enlisted into a military academy. When she would return home on holiday’s she would play and spoil her pokemon. after she graduated the academy she worked in the military, and soon was climbing ranks. Zappina was able to reach the rank of Major. She left the military when she was first given the chance, while she did love the command her heart was with her pokemon and she wanted to explore the world. When she returned home her parents were not very happy with her but, at least her father understood. With his blessing she began her late adventure into the world. During their first battle on their own her magicamo evolved into a Gyaratross.
Zappina made sure to stay in contact with her father and check in with him every now and then. She was soon met with the fact that her parents were old and her mother wanted her to come home and run the gym. She was a little crushed that her world adventure had to come to an end so soon, but she knew that she needed to go back. She road back into town on her Gyaratross and well, that very much left a lasting impression on the townsfolk. Her father thought it was a delight and soon after their reunion her parents left for a cruise.
She has learned a new love for her childhood home in the gym However, she does sneak off sometimes even when on duty. For a breath of freedom and exploration, that she longed for, for so long. She has recently reinvented the badge she gives to truly grounded trainers that battle her gym for it. It’s called the Storm Badge, it was a major pain for her to get everything changed over to the new badge and she did have to wait a year for the paperwork to get processed. Zappina is extremely satisfied with the result. Crafting every badge herself, with the aid of her loyal pokemon beside her.

When you can see past the external exterior of her ice and recognize her fear of vulnerability, she will try and avoid you like the plague. Don’t run after her saying you understand, unless you want to energize her inner demons. When she likes you, she will go out of her way to support you, even if it’s only for a while. She hates the heat and doesn’t like the tropics, but she has heard of the alolan ninetails and wishes to see one.
History: She wants to be an Elite Four Member, an Ice Master, she has been working hard for it her whole life. She was raised on a snowy mountain and loves the fresh white powder on the mountain top. She has been exploring around the artic circle and her travels have led her back here, to her home region. When she was younger, she loves playing in the snow but disliked other children her own age, they played stupid little games.
