Hey everyone! This is your least favorite hydra/inumimi/trap/identity crisis,

With my spring break having arrived, and people starting to ask me for 1x1s I decided it was about time to update my search thread. Due to technical issues with the previous version, I decided to split this thread into various parts.
In this particular one, you will find information regarding myself, my expectations and rules and some other things that make me extra happy to RP with you.
Do keep in mind, however, that I am being extra picky this time, because of a constraint in terms of time and efficiency. While I won´t make you give me a writing sample since I object to that pratice, I will have more intense and specific requirements.
If I didn´t turn you away yet, just you wait. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the read!

I think it stands to reason that I first tell you about myself. I am an eighteen year old straight male from Portugal, at the end of highschool, aiming to become an economics journalist. I am a Roman Catholic, and have been roleplaying for the past 4 years.
Aside from roleplaying, my hobbies include watching anime (Who would have guessed?), reading both manga and regular books, philosophy, arguing, blogging, gif making, writing, playing magic the gathering, and playing some blizzard games, such as starcraft and hearthstone.
I am a somewhat forgetful and VERY critical and opinionated person. I hold the belief that reality is objective, that writing is something that can be better or worse moreso than this style or that, and that if one sees a flaw in reasoning, they should point it out in an effort to better the view of all involved, including the self, and criticizing is an expression of taking someone seriously.
I consider myself a detailed roleplayer and have a deep need for order and structure in the roleplays I am on. I prefer to plan things ahead rather than come up with them at the moment. And while my hectic schedule and difficulty in stress management make me somewhat unreliable in terms of posting frequency, when I am around I will pour every ounce of dedication I can into the RP and I will not just quit the RP unless I think we don´t match at a level were we would always be disagreeing about far too important things (and even then I will be sure to tell you) or if you don´t want to RP anymore.
If you ever require anything or need someone to openly talk to or express your feelings or let off some steam about your problems, though, just come to me and I will lend an ear.
Now I will answer my own staple questions. These are a series of questions that I would like you to please answer as well. Please don´t answer any question with "it depends", try to be firm about your preferences
1.What are your favorite genres?
My favorite genres are battle and comedy. I am also quite a fan of fantasy, mystery, slice of life and superheroes. Oh and romance.
I have recently started to enjoy science fiction, science fantasy and even realistic. Highschool is an ok genre with me as well and fandoms depend on the fandom obviously.
I dont´want horror, post-apocalytpic, or any punks.
2. What are your favorite time periods?
My honest favorites are mixes of different time periods. However, if I had to pick one, I´d say futuristic or modern.
3. What are you favorite themes (ideas or concepts that are heavily explored by the plot, world, characters or narrative)?
I like to explore very philosophical themes and some different character dynamics, transformations, curses and anything that lets me worldbuild
4. What are your favorite pairings?
Hard to say, but if I had to choose, I´d say things along the pet x owner and father x daughter
5. What is your preferred gender and gender pairing?
I like MxF and FxF. I can play either gender.
6. Do you prefer lighter or darker moods?
Generally speaking, I prefer lighter ones
7. Are there any (anime) fandoms you enjoy?
You will see below
8. What is your stance on romance? (please give a detailed answer if yours is as generic as "I just like romance i the characters have chemistry" or "just not love at first sight"... )
Romance is a tool for character development and to compliment another plot. If it is focused in isolation, then it´s about knowing your pacing. I like to incorporate some, but I don´t want it forced.
9. What is your stance on comedy?
I adore comedy and wish I could do it more and better, but it extremely hard to do in writing
10. What is your stance on world building?
I have a deep passion for worldbuilding and feel sorry to know how often it is left aside
11. What is your stance on the battle genre?.
It is a genre that is not often recognized in it´s proper dignity but one of the most awesome ones if done correctly
12. What is your average post-length?
depending on my partner it can vary, but about 10 lines
13. What kind of maturity are you comfortable with?
any that doesn´t turn our RP into a porno

15. Do you have any limits?
Yes, I do have limits.
*Taking up religious elements that I did explicitly agree to have in our roleplay- I am quite baffled by how many times people take religious elements, of my religion in particular, and make a huge dumb difamation that isn´t even aware of what the concepts they are stealing mean. This pisses me to no end, so I won´t have it.
*Disrespecting the rules- especially when it comes to making pornos out of our rp, if you break my rules or the site´s, we can´t RP
*lying to me or bullying someone- I shouldn´t have to say this, even more than the rules rule, this should be human common sense, but it wasn´t once or twice that I had some of my partners break down because someone is bullying them on site. I can´t do much to stop them, unfortunately, but I better not hear of anyone who is working with me having been bullying someone or actively tricking me.

17. Are you a first person or third person roleplayer?

18. Do you prefer a faster, more energetic pace for the RP or a slower, more build-up pace?
While I tend to have both, I generally prefer it slow

Now that is settled, it´s time to talk about what I expect out of you.
*Please have a anime girl as a profile pic- I realize how weird and pointless this request may seem but I have come to realize that I just like looking at them more, thus making me more eager to be more active. It also gives me at least some guarantee that the person I am talking to also enjoys anime, which makes it less likely that they will push away my image requirements or alienate with notions or fandoms that I know crap about.
*Please invest in the roleplay and contribute to it in an independent fashion- I don´t want to be carrying the horse here, and much less do I want to carry it in vain. If you are gonna be signing up to RP with me, you should be aware that it´s not always gonna be fun and games, sometimes we need to compromise in some things and sometimes things take time to be done right. I don´t want just simple minded fun, I want quality writing to be in the roleplay too, and thus do not want a mindless zombie or sheep for a partner. Speak for yourself, contribute and collaborate.

1. RPing is to be done on threads
2. Have basic roleplay common sense, unless we agree on some aspect that we will skip for a particular roleplay
3. Don´t lie to me.
4. No vagueness and no "we´ll figure it out as we go along" in posts or CS
5. Write 3+ paragraphs and respect the content minimum
6. Respect my limits and inform me of yours
7. I reserve the right to add or modify any rule at any time
The content minimum is a concept that establishes what elements needs to en oresent in a post in order for it to be acceptable for a given roleplay. The content minimum is irrespective of size: if you can pull off all it needs in just one paragraph, good for you.
For this thread, the content minimum will be as follows:
•Any and all character thoughts, emotions, reactions and actions- I don't think I need to be explain these
•All appropriate mentions and interactions- if anyone is or should be interacting with you, if there Is someone your character noticed but won't go interact with
•All changes in position in time or space- time skips and any motion your character does: I want to know when and where they start and when and where they finish.
•Descriptions of relative positioning- if you're in a room, I want to know where in the room
•setting description upon transition- if you go into a new place describe how it looks and feels
•setting interaction- if anything in the setting, be it the breeze, the heat, the toys in the ground, whatever, if there is interaction with you - I dived into radioactive material to gain superpowers. I am now cancer-man! (Bonuses)

That is certainly an unnusual mutuation...
So, these are a few non-mandatory things, which I won´t demand off anyone, but I really appreciate them in my partner and they definitely win some points with me.
*Make me feel- perhaps the greatest of all bonuses, making me feel is precisely the thing I seek in a roleplay. This isn´t feeling angry at my partner, what I want to feel is the posts, the scenes. I want each scene and each post to make me feel what it is suppose to: I want laugh at comedy, I want to cry at sad scenes, have my heart pumping in action sequences. However, this is extremely difficult, and few actually manage to do it, and even then, it´s rare. As such, it is a bonus, not a mandatory thing.
*being an artist- I am one of those dreamers that gets super envious everytime someone suggests drawing something for them for free or working in a graphic novel together and I miss the chance because I wasn´t the first poster (understandanbly, artists are awesome!). I suck at anything of the drawing sort, but and hence roleplaying with someone who CAN draw makes me want to impress them, in the fantasy that one day one of them will suggest drawing the characters or even the story itself. xD
*being open- this isn´t just being open regarding your feelings, ideas and opinions, but being understanding and willing to give a shot to whacky and unconventional ideas. I have a lot of those, all the time, and they tend to be among my favorites, so someone who can roll with it or even better, enjoy it like I do is definitely appreciated.
*know your philosophy- I am a sucker for philosophy and I love a good argument. The search for the truth of things is one of my biggest passions and so, anyone who has a decent understanding of the basic terms or even someone who can simply make a proper argument/discussion with me are highly valued, if nothing else, for their rarity.
*feed my ego- I have a GIANT ego, and while I do think of myself as someone who is willing to help and try not to be too cocky, I sometimes gotta show off just cause I can. But even if I don´t, I like feeling important, and more importantly, I like feeling appreciated. A little praising can work wonders with getting on friendly terms with me!
*Read my blog- I started a blog called "The Pun Tyrant Times" and needless to say, it´s no facebook. Without much attention, I don´t have readers or feedback and I would love to garner some, even if so far there is only one entry.

And thus, we reach the end. I am sorry if I was rude at any point, and I imagine I hurt some sensitivities for sure along the way, even if they bared to read through everything here. This is, however, the groundwork, and I had to be assertive about what I wanted, less someone think I was overly flexible which at this point I cannot afford to be.
