Multiple Settings Platonic Buttkicking Duo

So I'm kind of new to 1x1 but I've always wanted to try this idea of doing this sort of classic buddy cop duo thing, where the characters are partners in some sort of cool profession, like being slick crime-solving Detectives, Secret Agents, or maybe even something like Vampire Hunters. Basically, I'm not too picky on what the setting or story is so long as it retains that core dynamic of a platonic pair of awesome cool people doing cool things.
