Details about the mission ahead will be disclosed in person after arriving to our facility. Any questions that may arise will be answered there as well.We ask that you bring the identification number provided to you at the end of this letter. Do not loose this number as the trip to the facility is only covered via identification number.We ask that you only pack the bare necessities. Uniforms, food, and essential products will be provided by the U.S.P. for the duration of the mission, however we still ask that you bring up to three changes of basic clothing, and any personal choice in hygiene products, if any. Once you board the ship, there will be no care packages. Please keep your bags under 20 pounds. INTERNATIONAL UNION SPECIAL PROJECTS SUPERVISOR
The S.S. Horizon was built for one purpose, and one purpose only. To fly a crew lightyears into space to research Xenos and bring them home. The ship was granted the highest levels of technology mankind has to offer, from massive amounts of reserve power to incredible thrusters that pushed the craft along at lightyear speed.
The ship is equipped with loud sirens and strobes to help detour any local natives that may cause a threat. There are also several mounted guns on the exterior, located on the sides of the spacecraft in case there is hostile life the crew cannot handle with handheld weaponry. These are to be used in an absolute emergency and as a last case scenario. Only authorized personnel have access to bring the gun systems online, such as the commander and the head of security.
The crew has been granted several luxuries on the ship such as a fully automated kitchen and medical deck. There are still certain actions that the crew member's must still perform, such as food prep and specific medical attention that needs the human eye and intuition.

Super Terra Rover "Little Boy"
This is the multi terrain vehicle that had been affixed to the outside of the Horizon. On board is enough room to seat each crew member comfortably, cameras, radio, spare rations of food and water, spare weapons, instruments to gather intel on the local plant and animal life, everything they would need to go out for long distances.
Unfortunately, upon entry to Xenos's atmosphere, the Horizon's systems malfunctioned on its bumpy decent and deposited the rover. It crash landed separately from the main ship, some unknown miles out. The Horizons systems can still pick up the radio ping of Little Boy, but they will need to figure out how far and where it is at.

Need to know
International Union (I.U): The singular government in which rules Earth. It is made up of a group of ten, including the Head Councilman who makes the final decisions.
International Union Special Projects (U.S.P.): This is the section under the I.U that works on scientific projects. They control the funding for any projects nonmilitary.
Outer Galaxy Project (O.G.P) This is the I.U's space program.
Chips: The money currency.
The Earth has been dying for a long time and inhabitable conditions is drawing closer and closer. Wild vegetation has gone extinct, except for what has been saved and brought below ground for cultivation. Anything food bearing or highly medicinal was brought below, various trees and bushes, some grasses and flowering plants. Anything for decoration is costly. Trees are often planted throughout Divisions, each one having at least one small park.
Less need to know
High City is the capital of the International Union. Despite the name, this is a massive city that has been built beneath the surface. The main dome stretches for at least 50 miles with taller then sky scrapper ceilings, massive tunnels leading to other smaller domes known as Sectors, usually numbered in name. The entire place has artificial suns in each dome. However the tunnels, or highways, are left with basic lighting, if any. This is the "place to be". Protected from the dangers above ground and is home to many of the wealthier peoples. It is possibly the cleanest place on Earth, and has a thriving economy despite the rest of Earths condition. The High City Villas are home to the wealthiest, doctors, politicians, scientists, entertainers, anyone who has the money to afford the most expensive place to live on Earth.
Divisions are the equivalent of a massive city. Each Division has tunnels leading off to sectors, similar to what a county would be.
Most wild fauna have gone extinct except for a few smaller highly adaptable species such as, racoons, rats, dogs, cats, ect. Even rodents have even began dying off, however massive hordes of them can still be found in the slums of cities. It is best to steer clear of these as over half are often disease carriers.
Livestock and farming have their own Divisions dotted across the world. Each one has specific Divisions they distribute the food too, and the amounts are heavily monitored.
Not every rain shower is acidic, but acid rain often beats down on the Earths dusty surface and the air is nearly toxic most days, requiring filtration masks on high risk days. Ventures to the surface are rare and far in-between as the surface is dead.
Old Earth: Referring back to when Earth was still highly inhabitable, usually the years before 2255. Foliage and fauna still occupied the surface. Water and streams ran clean. Mankind had won the battle against global warming, and revived Earths natural state. Cities and towns had merged and became integrated with nature instead of against it. Slowly life began coming back, but it was a painfully slow process. Life remained peaceful for nearly 200 years, but came to an abrupt end over greed of resources. Bombs were dropped without warning. War broke out and after many disruptions to old nuclear plants and natural disasters, the planet was worse off then before. This did not stop the greed. It wasn't until the International Union completely took over in 2467 that the war ended, and man burrowed beneath the surface.
The I.U colonized Mars in hopes of terraforming it to be suitable for life. Four stations were set up across the surface, each populated with several hundred thousand people, the largest settlement, Delta-4, as a million while Delta-2, pushes close to a million in population. However it was soon realized that it was only possibly to sustain life within the biodomes, which were highly expensive to erect and even more difficult to build.
Earth often sends Mars care packages of supplies to keep the biodomes operational and tolerable. In return, Mars exports valuable ores mined near Delta-4.
