Please feel free to make suggestions or alter these positions, as long as there is some reasoning for being on an Alien planet.

Researcher
"It will be important to observe the geography of Xenos, and if possible, create a detailed map of explored areas. Observe and collect rock and minerals. Report back any special or unusual findings, especially if they could be valuable resources for civilization." Anything alive will also be under your jurisdiction. Plants, animals, bacteria, you might be the busiest on the team as I expect everything to be alien. I cannot expect you to cover every single leaf and blade of grass, however finding edible local foods and what is poisonous will be much more valuable information to gather."

Security (one or two)
"It is expected that we will run into some issues. If there is wildlife on Xenos, then it's possible there will be something trying to kill everyone, if not everything. The ship has been packed with some... heavy artillery, which I think you will find something to your liking. Keep everyone safe."

Doctor
"Despite the highly advanced medical room built into the ship, robot arms and readings cannot detect everything. We need human eyes on the team to ensure utmost health. Physically and mentally. We would like for you to see if any of the collected plant data has medicinal values. It would be ideal to work closely with the biologist. Don't worry, you will be in the field with the others and not stuck in the ship the entire time."

Pilot
"Guide the ship to Earths outer atmosphere, and make sure everyone is settled into their Cryogenic beds, engage the auto pilot and settle into a chamber bed yourself. The NOX System will automatically disengage yours and the Commanders sleep when you are close to Xenos. We have a targeted location in mind that seems ideal for gathering information for your crew. Please bear in mind that you are the one who will take everyone home, so be careful."

Commander <taken by me>
"The one barking the orders and responsible for keeping everyone safe. Get everyone there in one piece, and bring them back the same. No missing digits or limbs. The success of this mission rides on your shoulders, Commander."

Job: S.S Horizon Commander
Name: Xander "Star Chaser" Wolfe
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Origion: Earth
Sexuality: Bisexual
Psyche Evaluation:

1. Understanding with his crew
2. Level Headed in critical situations
3. Has a humorous side

1. Stern with orders
2. Private and reserved about himself
3. Reckless

Gear: A pack of cigarettes and a bottle of expensive whiskey seemed to somehow make it on board the S.S. Horizon.

Background: Xander Wolfe spent his younger years chasing what had been a fleeting dream at the time. He wanted to be the first one to travel to a planet outside of Earths solar system. This passion was so strong, he was given the nickname "Star Chaser" by the other kids, and even some very skeptical adults. At the time, the idea wasn't feasible and resulted in Xander doing the next best thing he could, work for space crafts traveling between Mars and Earth. The man started out with a large crew upwards of a hundred, working laboriously to move cargo between docks, securing the product and ensuring all was there. He was a grunt no one would miss if accidently left behind on Mars. When that happened, Xander decided there would be a change in course in his life. From Mars, he managed to weasel his way onto a private transport ship. The cargo this ship transported was often precious and expensive. Sometimes they would even taxi politicians back and forth.

Xander spent nearly 10 years aboard the freighter Star Hawk, gaining the trust and admiration of those around him. A few years into his service, he was seated next to the commander, acting as his second in command. The last four years, he was the commander as the one he had served under for so long, passed away suddenly. The small Star Hawk crew saw a hard shift in work flow after Commander Wolfe took over. The jobs came in at such a fast rate, Wolfe was finding himself turning them down. Not only was he running loads between Mars and Earth, it had gotten more personal. He made private transports of classified cargos local to either Earth or Mars, depending on who issued the orders. These jobs were never turned away as the crew always got to take a two week leave with overflowing wallets.

Xander had grown very accustomed to his mercenary life. He didn't have to live in the burrows on Earth or the biodomes of Mars. He was free to float in space, the ship was his home. However, he couldn't turn his head to the pleasures that the planets had to offer that the vastness of space and an empty space craft could not. During an extended leave after a classified transport, Xander received his nonnegotiable invitation to the I.U's Special Projects division. With a range of strongly mixed emotions, Xander handed command of the Star Hawk over to his second in command, and informed his crew that he would not be returning from leave, as he had been called for highly classified work with the I.U directly. He gave the signature "stars guide you home" farewell the crew had adapted when it was unsure if one would see another again.
