When we are presented with the challenge of disease or famine, our natural reaction is to cure or solve the presented problem at hand. In 541AD, we were faced with the Plague of Justinian then in the Mid-1300's, we face the notorious Black Plague. After that, the world faced more and more devastations from other plagues killing thousands. Around 1620, the "Plague Doctor" started which were public servants serving the poor and wealthy. However, the Plague Doctors were never able to actually cure the plague and essentially, took the money from anyone who believed in their tactics for a cure. Greed. It's a sin that will never die.
Now days, we live in a world where we have little worry about, like future plagues due to advanced medicine. A world full of honest people, free miracles and shared faith. Oh, if only that was true, but it isn't. Is it? The people trust the doctors presented on billboards and news articles who make thousands off of them who lie constantly through the grit of their teeth. Some never see the light of day after their visit to one of their trusted medical experts. Ever wonder why? "It was the mistake of a pre-existing condition.", "The patient hid critical information from us, resulting in error.", "There was nothing we could have done. I'm sorry." While some speak truth, many do not and among that "many" are hidden members of a dangerous society.
Worst of all...
You are one of them.
But among your secret society, there is a traitor.

[div class=fyuri04headerleft]The Game[/div]
[div class=fyuri04boxleft]You, the player, are an expert somewhere in the medical field. Researcher, Doctor, Surgeon, an Examiner, anything that you desire to be. However, you are also part of a secret organization that is fueled by greed (or psychotic motives) known as, Plague of the Sleepy Hollow. Ever wondered how much a head would fetch you in price? There are an X amount of cases to go through all while another player among you is the traitor who slowly begins to invite the detectives to your front door. Can you find the traitor before everyone loses the game?
Each player is assigned a messenger provided by the GM as sending electronic messages or calling is too risky, due to being able to be traced. Your messenger is secret to the other players and only reports to the Head of your organization! This messenger will have a Photo and 5 Keywords. It is the Player's job to try to describe their messenger little by little by giving highlighted hints throughout the cases (one messenger will lead you to the traitor). Each Highlighted Hint is based off of one keyword at a time, and at the end of the round/case, the remaining players can guess the keywords. (There will be a Book of Knowledge provided in OOC to remind players of the hints and correct answers.) Once the messenger has been revealed, that player will be considered "Revealed". Being "Revealed" means your character now has limited actions, like being unable to participate in the Black Market or making illegal procedures. Your bank accounts will be frozen as well, which will be explained later on. If the traitor has been revealed, the current chapter ends and starts over with counters on the players like "Paranoia", and the game gets harder with a new traitor.
**Not for the faint of heart. Cases include blood and gore.** [/div]

[div class=fyuri04headerright]Game Master Notes[/div]
[div class=fyuri04boxright]Thank you so much for reading through all of this. I know there are some confusing details in there as there are a few things that need worked on, but I hope there was enough in there to help you decide if you are interested or not. Remember, this is only an interest check. I hope to see a success out of this though. If there are any questions, please send them in the comments not PM! Others may have similar questions, this helps prevent repeated questions. I'm still working on some details if this gets enough of interested people. If not, well, another bites the dust. You're a criminal, but you're also a detective. Good luck! [/div][/div][/div][div class=fyuri04credit]code by Fable Fable [/div][/div]
