The Avengers team was put together by Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel and Captain America. Their base of operations is called The Watchtower and is in space. There is a teleport pad in the Hall of Justice and a few private teleportation pads scattered across the globe that only members of Avengers know about.

The Avengers Dark team was put together by Batman and Wonder Woman to combat magical threats.

The X-Men are a team of meta-humans and mutants that are currently attending or have attended Xavier's School for the Gifted and work together to stop meta-human and mutant threats. They are led by Professor Xavier and work out of the School. Most members become teachers or continue to live at the school but it is not mandatory.
Current Leader: Emma Frost
Active Members: Grace Wayne.

A team of female super-heroes that go on special missions across the world. They were created by computer expert Oracle and martial artist Black Canary, although their membership has greatly expanded over the years. Originally based in Gotham City's Clock Tower, they are funded by Batman as an extension to the Batman Family.
Current Leader: Oracle.
Active Members: Jadzia Stark.

A small business licensed by the state of New York which offered a full line of professional investigation and protection services. Heroes For Hire was owned by Luke Cage and Daniel Rand. It had offices on Park Avenue and two paid employees, secretary Jennie Royce and lawyer/business representative, Jeryn Hogarth. Heroes For Hire would not accept jobs involving extralegal activities.
