Hellos to the people that happen to wander onto this workshop, in this area I will be putting down codes I am attempting to do as well those I have already completed. This is to help me improve my basic skill when it comes to BBcoding. I will be posting random things from simple coding to CS I'm working on and coding I'm trying to fix ^^ This thread is open to those that either have questions for me (though I'm an amateur so don't expect the most advance of responses) or have suggestions on how to improve what I already know~ As time goes on I'm pretty sure I will edit my into cause with all the BBcoding I intend to work out, this does look rather drap doesn't it?

As I go on I will start leaving the coding for my BBcodes in the post with the code. If you wish to use them feel free to, though I do ask that you credit me ^^ I know these are nothing advanced or anything, but I just get a happy squishy feeling knowing someone actually chose to use my codes without me threatening them.

  With this ability he can travel from one tree to another, coming into contact with a tree, if he visualizes where he wants to go he will sink into the tree only to come out at his destination. With his travel he can get to parts of the underworld if he truly wants to (namely his mothers garden). This works even with plants he makes.

  This ability allows him to control the black mist that is in the underworld. He can bring it to attack or defend in combat though it is weak, unless he actually goes to the underworld then then that is a different story.

  Capable of controlling darkness both physically and mentally. He is capable of having darkness take a physical form what is can be manipulated by him be it a weapon, a animals and such.

  He can corrupt animals and people with his darkness. When corrupted purple lines form around their bodies. For humans to be corrupted they need to have a weak will or he must have filled their hearts with a lot of darkness. The longer they are the corrupt the less will they have and the less obvious it is. The lines start to disappearing, but hey remain corrupt. If one is corrupt long enough they will get a seal on the back of their neck, one which makes their corruption forever and almost unbreakable. When they are corrupt their free will is almost non existent, they have to listen to Jackson or they will suffer greatly. While corrupted they gain a portion of his powers, not much, nothing that rivals his but enough to do damage to an enemy. The more things he has corrupted the more powerful he is. He can even gain some of the life force of what he corrupts to extend his own life.

  Using his darkness he can rot things, from weapons to organisms as long as he touches them. Things he rot can eventually be turned to dust. If he doesn't' fully rot something he is capable of turning it back to what it was before completely intact.

  He is capable of seeing the darkness in one's hearts, or their worst emotion. Able to read it like a book even if one hides it he can work with this and push to fill their hearts with even more darkness, so he could possibly corrupt them.

  Not really a power as it has more to do with his attitude. Charmspeak, emotion reading/manipulation has practically no effect on him. Due to being apathetic and incapable of emotion, powers that affect emotions simply have no affect. He isn't capable of feeling love, so trying to make him fall in love is pointless, nothing short of cupids arrow could make him even consider it. If one were to try and read his emotion, they would have nothing but a blank slate, they couldn't see his anger, fear or anything of the sort, cause once again he simply doesn't have it. As for manipulating emotion, this can affect him, but just barely and if he is aware he is being manipulated he could stop if using his darkness to surround his heart/emotions off from anyone so they can't be touched.

  He is learning this on his own, but he has gotten interested into making poisons and kinds of bombs, though he hides his true intention so it doesn't look odd. Because of his interest in these he is rather good at making them, and finds it to be a hobby of his.

  Though not really a power due to the fact he wasn't blessed by anyone with it. This skill of his is not something to scoff act. He has learned to mimic emotions and is capable of giving off a sense that he cares. This skill is shown well when he has to be happy and smile or show emotion that seems true. It can fool many people, as it is basically second nature to him.

  Pathological liar

  He lies without skipping a beat, there could be no reason to lie and he would still do it. He has avoided for the most part his lies being found out, and when its learned he is lying he simply plays it off. This is a habit of his and he can lie without feeling even a shred of emotion as he does it.

  Always having to fake it

  Any emotion he uses, happiness, saddness etc is faked, he copies what he sees others do and acts out like he can feel. Doing this is exhausting for him as he has to constantly remind himself how to act and there has been times he slips up and makes him look weird.

  Hiding his power

  When it comes to his main powers of corruption and darkness he hides them, he hasn't' shown anyone it and doesn't intend to. This means when people he knows are around he won't use his darker powers, for he doesn't want people to know if he is strong or not. Simply because it is easier for him if people think he is weak and lucky rather than strong and cunning.

  Overuse

  Like anyone overuse of powers can result in him getting weak and even ill, till the point he faints.

  Lack of fear

  Due to being an emotionless buddle, he lacks fear, this has and will result in what seems like reckless choices, that can be life threatening. Fear is often used to protect people, however without a sense of fear, he lacks that protection.

  Hand to hand

  
  He may be good with fencing, however when it comes to actually fighting with fist to fist he lacks greatly in this category. He doesnt' like to be the one that has to get in confrontations, and if he must he wants his blade. Any fight that deals hand to hand he will refuse to do and avoid, after all he has no interest in participating in a challenge he knows he will lose.

  Prone to headaches

  
  It isn't easy for him to remember everything he does, from how he acts to how people view him. Along with the fountain of information he tries to keep in his head. This results in headaches that at times can get intense rather suddenly, especially if he is suddenly loaded with new information or has to recall something from some time ago.   If Jackson isn't using his powers, then his main way of fighting is using his fencing sword that is always by his side. Though not a roman weapon like many in the camp use, he is very proficient with this style, having learned this style since he was young. He has gone through many swords as they do break if overused, but recently he has stuck with one sword that was made by a child of Hephaestus. It is a beautiful sword made with celestial bronze and has a gorgeous design on it. This weapon is always by his side ready to be drawn when needed.
  
  Along with fencing another weapon he has come to enjoy using is throwing knives. He has great aim with these weapons and can throw them at impressive speeds with great accuracy. He has several celestial bronze knives in his coat that he can use if endangered. If he is alone and endangered then he can use his shadows/darkness to create durable and deadly knives for him to use as well.
  
  Poisons, something he is learning at this time. He uses poisons to coat his dagger or rapier to inflict more damage on his enemy. Each monster reacts to poisons differently so he is still experimenting with this. Also unknown to other campers he is making poisons that affect humans as well.
  
  Bombs/grenades: He can't make anything like C4 or even your classic army grenade. Rather he is learning how make smaller things. Such as smoke bombs, small Molotov's, and grendaes that shoot out metal pellets. These are still in their testing stage as he tries to work out the kinks. Sometime he works alone on these other times he get helps from children of Hephaestus.

  When you meet and interact with him he is all smiles, sunshine and kindness. He seems to utterly adore talking to people and listening to all of their problems no matter how minuscule they are. He is even willing to talk about darker things many would prefer to stray away from. He seems to love and greet new campers with a smile. Happy to assist the new campers in showing them around and the ropes of the place he is without a doubt someone that everyone would know.
  
  When he talks to people he seems to get engaged and have empathy for others, and seems like he would never hurt a fly. He comes off as curious, always wanting to give a helping hand, always wanting to be that person who you lean on. He never seems to mind doing chores for anyone and even is known for taking other kids punishments, simply to be nice. He comes off as a yes man quite a bit. Though he hasn't shown any mind to this. He is a caring individual who believes in the value of teamwork and such. Comes off as the perfect being at times.

  In truth however, he is almost utterly apathetic. He is a psychopath, one that is a genius at hiding his true intent to anyone. No one is capable of finding out his real personality unless he shows it as he can use his powers to lock away people that try to read his mind or feelings. In truth most of the time he doesn't care about anyone and everything he does is for himself and to help himself in the future. Every smile, every nice thing he says in truth sickness him quite a bit. He does what he must to survive but he doesn't enjoy what he has to do most of the time.
  
  He is a messed up individual, for when he is not at camp he is at home with his father. It could be noted even his father has shown he is afraid of his son, but has never told anyone why. Not only is it because of his true powers he hasn't shown really anyone. But mainly due to the fact of the art he loves to look at. Being one like him, he in truth loves seeing corpses and gruesome sights. He sees killers as artist and the more messed up the scene the more beautiful it is, and if there is a story that goes behind it, a messed up story... Well he will be enthralled. He hasn't given people at the camp reason to suspect this side of his personality but its there, and its the main one that he sticks with.

  My history? I don't mind talking about it, but you have to share yours as well okay? Though admittedly nothing exciting has happened in my life Jackson Z. Talon

  Jackson didn't learn of his mother till a late age, he was told his mother was dead, having died in the ever so classic car accident. Ever since he was young there was something wrong with him. He didn't cry like a normal baby, he didn't react to many things nor did he fall in love with every TV show out there. For a time his father worried he was autistic, this wasn't' the case as it soon proved. He was born a psychopath, which his father didn't learn till he went to preschool. On the second day he was called up because Jackson had stolen a kids juice box. Though that wasn't all of it, when the kid tried to get it back Jackson had hi the other kid several times with his metal lunch box. Resulting in a cut on the other kid but nothing too major. The more concerning thing was, that when the child cried Jackson just watched as he drank the juice box showing no hint of pity of care.
  
  His father wanted to ignore this but another incident happened and he was kicked out of the preschool. Just to check he took the young Jackson to a special doctor, so he could see if there was anything wrong with him. For the first few sessions Jackson had completely fooled the doctor into making her believe there was nothing wrong with him. However near the end of one session, she had taken a toy he was playing with away and he reacted very violently. After this and several others, it was learned that Jackson was in fact psychopath.
  
  As shocking as this news was the father was able to handle it well and started to do his best to keep his emotions under control, despite his vast lack of them. He was homeschooled for most his life, and to help out with any anger issues he may have had she had him take up fencing. A sport he deemed to be something that would help him control his anger. He was intelligent as a child and did his lessons with what seemed like pure ease, all so he could get on the computer for the end of the day.
  
  Using this as a reward he had Jackson learn everything he would have learned in public school and more. Despite the lack of social interaction he seemed to learn enough from the internet and from his mother to handle crowds and act like he cared about others. Even though he truly didn't care much. Life was good for him and his father for the most part. That is until one day, for an art project he was suppose to find something for inspiration and paint it. What he gave his father was a horrible mess of reds brows and white. Confused by the painting the mother had asked what was his inspiration, and that was when he showed him a picture on the internet that made his father gag, though of course he gave no reaction.
  
  After this his father didn't let him go on the internet unless there was heavy restrictions. However doing this made his become violent and easy to anger, he had broken more than a few glasses in his rage that was triggered by the smallest of thing. Why he almost got kicked out of fencing class for his behavior. Not knowing what to do, he lift the ban that was on his computer and almost immediately he calmed down and went back to acting like he cared and loved people.
  
  Time went on and nothing strange happened, it was at the age of 13 however when that changed. For years, Jackson could swear he always heard something in the shadows, and in the darkness but he never investigated it further. That is however on the day after his 13th birthday, when the shadows formed and made a woman like figure. A sight that would shock anyone...if they could really feel. This shadow was of his mother, something that had been around him since the moment he was born but was only now fully showed itself. That was because he was endanger.
  
  The shadow warned of an approaching threat and told Jackson where to go with his father. In an ever so calm manner Jackson told his father of the situation and she immediately knew what was up. Taking Jackson out of the house without hesitation, and by guidance of the shadow the two made it to the camp safely.
  
  There Jackson spends most of time even though he doesnt' stay there all summer long. He goes home during the time the camp is closed, and it is here he mainly learns his powers rather than at the camp which he hides them from everyone. He hasn't shown anyone his power yet, and doesn't plan to unless they are about to meet an untimely fate.
  
  When the was 15 he went on a quest with two others. And was successful however his two comrades died, how they died is only known to him though he has told of how they supposedly died heroicly.
  
  As the years gone by he remains as he is happy and bubbily, but completely secretive and deadly. Still with no god to claim him, and only gossip to go around. He never cared about what people thought..as he long since knew who his mother is.

POWERS ​

Force manipulation:
capable of blasting enemies down that are in front of him. When he uses this power a loud thunder sound leaves his hands after doing this.

Enchantments: Using words of law he is capable of writing on something and giving that something the property of the word. If he takes an arrow and writes fire on it and then shoots said arrow, once the arrow hit something it would burst into flames. These enchantments can have a wide range. Yet he can't do anything on the power of the gods like make absolute rules, write the word death and it works or things of that nature.

Lightning absorption: Though currently unable to produce and manipulate lightning he can absorb lightning which increases his speed, power, and thought process greatly giving him a major boost if given enough. He also happens to be a human lightning rod, as any electricity has the habit of jumping to him and getting absorbed by him. He can even accidently absorb his sister lightning.

Air manipulation: Capable of controlling the air. He increase air pressure, using this to crush and wound enemies if he tries hard enough. Along with that he is capable of making strong gust of wind to sweep enemies off their feet.

Flight

WEAPON ​

Vi is a very versatile fighter, who is good both close quarters and medium range. Now he isn't the best at long range, but he doesn't need to be close up to get some enemies down. His main weapons are his tomahawks, his spear and lastly his fist. These weapons suit his style of combat perfectly. With precision he can land deadly blows with his Clestial bronze tomahawks if he throws them hard enough, same goes with his spear.

If close range is a must then again he can use his tomahawks, landing swift blows though they may not be deap, as his style is more focused on speed than anything. He can also use his fist, putting on a pair of gaunlets to protect himself and deal extra damage he can land powerful blows, if he is boosted with his sisters lightning or any lightning, then he can literally punch the heads off of some enemies.

He duel wields his Tomahawks when in close range. He can use his spear close range, fighting with it like one would a pole, and its honestly his most defensive weapon. However he would prefer to throw that than to use it close up.

His spear is a spear, tomahawk and gauntlet when not used take the shape of a lighter. To use one of these weapons, he has to flick the lighter. Upon doing so rather than a fire coming out a spark of electricity does, and depending how many times he flicks it equals to which weapon he will get. Once is his spear, twice his tomahawk, and thrice his gauntlet. It should be noted it is only one lighter, meaning that only one of his tomahawks and gauntlets are magical, the other half isn't. When he throws the weapon that belongs to the lighter, the lighter will turn up back in his pocket after only a few seconds. If he throws a weapon that isn't part of the light...welp...he has to go get that weapon back.

Personality

I'm mister charming, handsome, fun loving, agreeable, did I mention charming? Sarcastic just a buddle of joy~ Honestly I don't know how I grew to be so perfect, I just am~ Vi Kratos

When it comes to Vi, some people have a hard time believing he's Alexa brother, yet at the same time its not all surprising. Vi can't go a sentence without being sarcastic or joking to some degree has bad/small as it may be. He is a relaxed person who can seem to chill out in almost any non combat situation. To him its fun first everything else later. He enjoys playing his video games just as much as he loves playing pranks, namely on the other children of the big three. Enjoys spending time along playing his violin, something he is basically a master at. Having practiced it since he was young he loves the music it bring and it relaxes him greatly when highly stressed. You could think he was blessed by Apollo with his skill even though he hasn't been. He doesn't let many know he plays the violin, as its more of his private thing, that being said his sister of course knows.

He does seem to be a bit of a narcissist, due to how he tends to compliment himself. Though this is more of an act then anything...kinda, okay not really. He can be rude to people who just meet him, though he namely is rude to people he dislikes. In his defense however, he wasn't taught to lie politely to people he dislikes.

Though he is the son of Zeus, he is easy to approach and just as easy to converse with. Unlike his sister he doesn't have much of a presence, if anything at times he seems to lack one. He could be in a room steal all the sweets and be gone and you would have no idea he was there in the first place. Because of this he does have the habit of seemingly popping out of no where. He knows he lacks a presence when he isn't being loud or joking around and he uses to play even more pranks on people or just uses this to eavesdrop on other peoples conversation.

He tends to avoid work as much as possible however, and he utterly detest being given responsibly over anything. That's his sister role, she's the responsible one, hes the fun loving not so responsible one. Though he doesn't show it to many he is a hardworker, even if he tends to avoid it. Whenever his sister is training Vi will be there with her, more likely than not her training partner. He is always working out and keeping on his toes just incase. He's very active and at times can seem to have ADHD due to his habit of moving from subject to subject in a blink of an eye.

Along with all of this, Vi is protective, mainly to his sister Alexa. Any quest she goes on he goes as well, anyone picks a fight with her? Well they just picked a fight with him. He knows damn well his sister can hold off an army on her own, but that doenst' stop him from worrying and wanting to be by her side. He knows Alexa better than anyone else out there, even if it seems like he goes out of his way to annoy her, he truly does have her best interest at heart and rarely to never goes past the line.

Won't deny my life wasn't the best, but hell I had my sister and she had me, so in my eyes I think it has been pretty damn good so far Vi Kratos

Likes: His sister, himself, lightning, coffee, strawberries, pranking others (namely Hades, Ares and Poseidon kids, playing on his violin, napping, racing, competing in capture the flag, playing on his computer or any gaming system.

Dislikes: People who can't take a joke, anyone that messes with his sister in a hostile way, pickles, snow, having to be responsible or being put in a position to make a tough call, horses.

Hates: Poseidon and at times himself

Fears: Losing his sister due to being incompetent, large bodies of water

Relationships: His relationship with horses is on the worst level that anything can be. He is completely incapable of riding one, whether it be one from the ocean or the air he simply cant. Every horse seems to hate his guts, as they always try to bite him. If he attempts to ride one he will be thrown off. Once when he was just walking by the stalk a horse broke free and chased him all the way to the Zeus cabin. Even in life or death situation, horses still refuse for him to ride.... He really hates horses. N/A

I simply upload a file and add it into the post itself. If you are talking about using the image URL you have to go to the image take the URL from the top of the screen of that site, and paste it here to use.

Now for resizing you use this code

[heightrestrict=400]  Image here [/heightrestrict]

Original size >

Height restrict >

By changing the numbers in the heightrestrict you can change the size. Using this you can make you images very small, however I do not believe you can make the image larger than the original image that you apply onto the post.
