Let's Talk About Life on YouTube

You sat in the corner of your cell wrapped in a straitjacket with a furious grin on your face. You growled through the metal face mask you had clamped on to you and struggled against your bindings. Sweat poured down your brow and your chest have from your efforts. Being in this godforsaken room had taken it's toll on you. Barnatio had finally had enough of your taunting and had you stuck here. He'd made a huge mistake and you would make him realize that.

You'd begun to have a feeling that you were due to be let out soon. There was a larger guard presence outside your cell and lots of talking. This made you give up your efforts to escape and focus on the door. They would be coming in to give you the shot of suppressor. It wouldn't wear off for at least 8 hours so your plan would have to be vanilla. No useful abilities for you. Which left you three options when you got out of here are #111 (A) (the Beast) a monster of a man who's power could not be fully controlled no matter how much suppressor they shot him up with, #32 (B) an arsonist who had been given the power of pyrokinesis who could cause a fire in the kitchen given the opportunity to use his powers without interruption, and finally #59 (C) the disturbed little girl of the ward who you'd made friends with. All three were feared by the guards and you could understand why for each.
You raised your hand up to your eyes and try to conjure a bit of your power. You'd been involved in three separate trials: Clone Creation (D), Teleportation (E), and Muscle Hardening (F). Out of the three (choice) was the only one that succeeded for you. You had been here for four years and had your powers for three. Still being here was rather frustrating beyond belief and you were beyond ready to get your escape started. The sound of the door opening caught your attention and you watched as Dr. Barnatio himself stepped through the door.

"Well hello 105." Barnatio said pleased with himself. "I see you've taken to the white room. It's the perfect place for someone who's nothing like you. That aside, it's time for you to join all the other subjects for lunch. Then, your trials will continue."

You flinched as only the slightest blur of your fingers hinted at your teleportation (E) abilities. You clenched your fist tightly and looked up at the man before you. Barnatio, the person most responsible for you paining and suffering these past few years. You choose to ignore his presence (2) and instead focus on analyzing the guards at the door. There were four of them, but only one really od out. He was bigger than the others and looked like he worked out regularly. This man was probably a higher up guard. He certainly fit the insufferable try-hard image that the higher ups had. Hm? It appeared that Barnatio had been rambling on about something. You look up with a bland look, but say nothing.

Dr. Barnatio's face is caught between a mix of pleasure and displeasure as you ignore him, which quickly turns to just displeasure.

"Get him up." Barnatio hissed through grit teeth and stepped out of the room.

You were tugged roughly to your feet and forcibly walked out of the room. You'd finally escaped that white dimension of hell. Barnatio said nothing as he led the way through the halls of the facility. You shifted your arms slightly in the confines of your straitjacket to get the slightest bit more comfortable.

"So, #105, you ready for a hardy lunch? I asked the kitchen to add a little something special just for you." Barnatio said with a smile that hinted at the cruelest of intentions. You decided in that moment that there was no way in hell you would be eating your lunch. It didn't take much longer for your small group to reach the cafeteria. Barnatio stopped inside the door and motioned for them to remove your mask.

You moved your jaw around slowly to sooth some of the soreness from how long you'd had it on. Damn did it feel good to have it off. You scanned the lunch room looking for your target. There were only sixteen tables in the room yet #59 had his own because very few wanted to be near him for when his suppressor wore off. #111 was still in his cage and would be for as long as they could hold him. #59 was surrounded by many of the other #'s. That wasn't good. You needed to have a word with her in private even though it wouldn't make much difference either way. You'd almost managed to completely forgot Barnatio's presence until he cleared his throat sharply.

You turned to face him and...
