Gonna use this thread as a place to post and showcase my characters. I have a lot of them but the ones I post here are ones I plan to use in RP on here and that way people can easily reference my characters when I bring them up.

Name: Tenzen & Orz
Age: Unknown
Species: Nue (Monster Boy)
A Nue living in the forests. A beast with the body of a tiger, the face of a monkey, and a snake for a tail, now with a more humanoid form. A nomad, a minstrel, and a bit of a doer-of-odd-jobs if it pays well

Personality: Tenzen is a prideful being at heart and a complete showman when it comes to talking with others, conversations with him can often feel like him putting on a show or trying to entertain his speaker; the times when he does break of this habit are during more serious times, so it isn't like he can't read the room. Often a man who tries to win people over with his sly nature; it isn't rare for him to crash in a person's house because he states he is a good luck spirit. Despite this, he is more of a forest nomad when it comes to living conditions. He has a fondness for raw fish, particularly eel.
However, the real mastermind behind Tenzen is within his tail. Often thought of as a mere snake or an extension of Tenzen's personality, Orz is actually his own being and the more intelligent of the two, speaking to Tenzen in a way only he can hear. He is the critic and the voice of reason for the more wild and reckless Tenzen.

Abilities:
-Electrokinesis: The ability to produce electricity from his body. Long ago, Tenzen's ancestors could call upon storms and create raging typhoons just by their mere presence. Today, he is limited to powerful shocks from his hands or torso. Can extend his range via a metal object like a staff. By this extent he is somewhat immune to powerful shocks, but can still be hurt by it if the shock is strong enough; think of it as overloading a capacitor.
-Poison: Orz is capable of creating poison either as a gas, liquid, or injecting it via a bite.
-Performance. Able to use his powers for more than just combat, he can also use it for entertainment. A showman at heart, he can gain a crowd
-Nuezuke Style: A martial art created by his species, intended as one that only they can use, due to their natural electrokinesis. One that revolves around fast punches, finger jabs, palm strikes, and the ultilization of both poison and electricity in order to debilitate or even kill the opponent.
-Linked immortality: Only applies to Orz. If he is severe or killed, he will regenerate in a number of days as long as Tenzen is alive.
-Bird calls: A rather niche skill of his, but he is rather skilled at bird calls.

Weaknesses:
-Apathy: He is a carefree individual. He must be properly pushed or convinced in order to be involved in conflict that doesn't involve him.
-Out of touch: As someone who lives in the forest all his life, the most experience he has with society is small hamlets, villages, and tribes. He has no idea how to operate in large cities.
-Purification: As a Youkai, he is very much vulnerable to anti-youkai magic employed by shamans. Magic that does little to humans but can severely hurt him.
-Pyrophobia: A fear of fire.

Name: Summer
Age: Claims to remember the 90s, exact age unknown
Species: Unknown
A strange girl. Acts like a normal girl, but that's the extent of how normal she is. Particularly, the first thing people tend to notice about her is her face... Or lack there of. No one knows where she came from or what she is, not even she knows the extent of her abilities. But, at the least, she has the heart of a kind young woman, despite her face being 90 percent mouth.
Personality: Kind, free spirited, and bubbly. Doesn't even seem to acknowledge her odd visage. Looks out for her friends or people she happens to have a crush on.
However, she does often creep people out and doesn't seem to notice until it is pointed out; she seems to not realize that people don't like being stalked or snuck up on. Basically has to be told that a girl with a toothy maw for a face crab walking towards someone up a flight of stairs is guaranteed to scare people.
Loves abandoned areas, as well as confined tight spaces, ones she can crawl into and stay there for hours on end.
Despite her horrifying appearance and sharing much in common with supernatural monsters, she actually doesn't like horror very much and is a fan of mystery movies more than anything.
Loves food or even eating the inedible. Thankfully, people aren't on her list of things she'd eat.

Abilities:
-Strong bite: Her bite strength is incredible. Able to chew through meat and bone with incredible ease. Even inedible substances like stone, plastic, or metal give way to her powerful bite. Even her teeth seem to be nigh unbreakable.
-Seemingly invulnerable: Summer can be hurt and looks to be just as durable as a normal human, however she doesn't respond to said injuries. Treating a broken bone or a severed limb like that of a papercut or a simple bruise.
-Teleportation: Seems to be able to teleport. Only does it when no one is looking because she's nervous about it. So will often be in one room and appear in the next.
-Contortionist: Unnaturally flexible, able to pose in ways that would leave a human's body snapped or even dead. Can fit in spaces as long as it can fit the volume of her body.
-Animal run: An odd very specific trait. She prefers to run on all fours and is shown to be incredibly fast when doing so.

Weaknesses:
-No combat drive: Many of her abilities would be good in that of an assassin; teleportation, a skill in hiding, a powerful bite, etc. However, she has zero will to fight or kill others.
-Teleportation limits: While she can teleport, she has to know where the location is in order to get there.
-"Unkillable" but not durable: While she is shown to shrug off wounds that would be fatal, her bite is the only strong trait of hers. If she were to get in a fight, someone with sufficient strength would easily be able to overwhelm her.
-Can't be photographed: whenever a photo is taken of her, she always appears blurry or off centered. Sort of both a strength and a weakness.

Name: Vespa Manuka
Age: 18
Species: Human/Insect Hybrid
Vespa's powers formed in her childhood. She was unmistakable for a human. Looked like one and acted like one, although she did have a fascination with insects and other arthropods. But, starting in her toddler years, she possessed the ability to control these small creatures, like some sort of puppetmaster. In time, these powers grew more and more precise, as well as able to control more at once. One day, Vespa went into a deep sleep, a cocoon forming over her as she slept. When she awoke, her body had changed in an extreme way; she had lost her human traits and now more more insect ones, like that of a bee. But not only that, but her body had become a living hive for insects of all kinds, nesting within her body, able to emerge on command
(if you've played Mortal Kombat, she is basically like D'vorah but not evil or ugly)

Personality: Kind and gentle. Friendly to all creatures, no matter how small. Has a great love for insects and arthropods, especially bees, due to having a great affinity with them. Has a distaste for people who abuse nature or torture animals, even attacking them with her army if pushed far enough. However, due to her kind nature, rarely ever resorts to violence. Despite her love for nature and dislike for people who harm animals, she doesn't hate people or animals who hunt for food or for survival; it is her belief that people are part of nature just as much, those who hunt to get by are contributing just as much as the animals they hunt. Same goes for animals.
Abilities:
-Insect control: She is able to control arthropods, be them insects, arachnids, or even decapods and isopods. The extent of this is unknown, but it becomes more mentally taxing the more she controls. As of now though, she can control a small swarm of them at once without any huge amount of effort.
-Insect physiology: Along with her telepathic control of insects, she also has abilities one would expect from a human insect hybrid; immense pain tolerance, ability to regrow limbs if severed, ability to hover with her wings. Compound eyes even give her eye sight beyond that of a normal human.
-Living hive: Vespa keeps most of her insect army inside of her own body, able to command them to emerge or return at will via small holes throughout her body. If attacked, they can automatically emerge and attack the aggressor. This symbiotic relationship also benefits the insects, as her body becomes shelter, even viewing her as their queen.
-Confectionery: She has knowledge in sweets and baking, especially chocolate and honey based desserts.

Weaknesses:
-Anti-Swarm methods: Vespa's strongest trait in a fight is that her insects attack in a swarm. However, methods such as fire, gas, or water can shut down such a method easily.
-Vulnerability to cold: While she doesn't mind heat, she doesn't like cold. Extreme low temperatures can kill her swarm and put her in a comatose state.
-Fragile: Despite having immense pain tolerance, she is physically less durable than a human.
-Naive: Her kind hearted and loving nature can lead her to be too naive or oblivious to the evil in the world. Both a positive trait and a negative trait in that she is quick to forgive and make friends, but at the same time one can easily take advantage of this trait.

Name: Princess ("Yes that's really my name")
Age: 20
Species: Human
Daughter of a pair of supervillains. Her conception was a part of what could be called a "breeding program," the organization that he parents were aligned to passing on their genes to a new generation of supervillains so that their criminal organization would stay strong and alive. However, said organization fell, leaving the 15 children born from his breeding program without parents. Among them, Princess had a rough and rebellious childhood. While considering herself a vigilante and a hero, she still maintains her parents violent personality and abilities.

Personality:
Reckless, violent, and impulsive. Quick to pick a fight or do something stupid on a whim. Doesn't think twice about the dangers or consequences for her actions. However, she isn't all that terrible of a person. Still looks out for those without powers and never hurts people who can't fight back. Simply put, she has heroic intentions and actions, but a more violent and almost villainous method.
Believes that anything goes in a fight. In a true fight there are no rules and restrictions. Even someone using a gun in a fist fight is allowed; she'll just call them cowardly and too weak to fight with their hands. A true fight can go down any time anywhere. The only thing that she doesn't like in a fight is getting innocent bystanders involved. She takes this creed even further by never dodging in a fight. All attacks she will take head on, refusing to budge unless forced to. Her superpowers make this tactic possible thankfully.
Very proud of her hair style. A big anime fan, in particular has a love for Baki and Hajime no Ippo.

Abilities:
-Superhuman physique: The typical superhuman strength, stamina, endurance, and durability. Although not able to shrug off bullets, she is still very much able to last far longer than even the toughest normals in a fight.
-Healing factor: A slow healing factor that mends any wounds received. Slow compared to most but still there. Bruises and flesh wounds heal in just a minute or two. Deeper wounds can take several more, while broken bones heal in a matter of days.
-Endorphin boost: Along with healing, her healing factor also induces pleasure. Meaning that she cannot be outlasted in a fight against someone of similar strength. Her all around moveset gives her a simple yet effective fighting style of simply bruteforcing every fight.
Weaknesses:
-Doesn't recognize wounds: The downside to her Endorphin Boost. Because it induces pleasure, she often cannot tell how wounded she is. Fighting with grievous injuries that she can't even tell she has until its too late.
-Her creed: She doesn't block with a weapon/object or dodge attacks, always taking them head on or blocking them with her arms. "Dodging is for people who can't take a hit," as she would put it. "If you can't take a hit, don't get in a fight."
-Simplicity: While her style makes her almost invincible in a fight with mooks and gives her monstrous endurance, that is all she has. Against more abstract or opponents with unorthodox methods that she can't brute force, she is at a loss.

Species: Oni (I also play her as a succubus)
A daughter of a powerful warlord. Now living in the human world. After years of being in the human world, she has put on a bit of weight, leading to her chubby appearance.

Personality
Despite her upbringing, she has a more meek personality than anything. More of a normal teenage girl with a demonic heritage. Despite this though, she and her father are on very good terms (he's retired from the whole killing business). Suffers from self esteem issues if her problems are presented to her, although thankfully she does get out of the house, mostly to buy food and clothes (and beer).

(I cannot for the life of me find the artist of this image. THey have since deleted their tumblr account and all I can find is the commission details leading to a dead email address :( I'd love to thank them for this old old piece.)

Name: Qatun Qeril
Age: 28
Species: Au Ra (Xaela)
The Warrior of Light. Hero of Eorzea. Qatun has born in the Azim Steppes, along with her sisters (they're triplets). Growing up was rough for young Qatun. While her sisters slowly learned how to handle money and show signs of becoming merchants, Qatun struggled with simple tasks. It was her father, a renown warrior in the tribe and Qatun's idol, who suggested the young girl try swordplay. It was here, Qatun demonstrated an innate skill with a blade even at a young age. After her father's death, when Qatun was in her early 20s, she had set out for Eorzea, leaving the Steppes. Here, she stayed for several years, doing miscellaneous tasks for coin and food, officially becoming a full fledged adventurer once she turned 27; while she loved her father, she was still living in his shadow, thus she wished to carve a path and name for herself. Uncertain of herself and uncertain of her future, what path she will lead, it was here, events transpired that lead her to becoming known as the renown figure, the Warrior of Light.
(Tl;dr: She's my FFXIV character)

Personality: Outside of combat and within combat, Qatun is completely different. Most of the time, she is a socially awkward and quiet mess of a woman, while she has many friends, she still has poor social skills, preferring others to do the talking. Often, her speech is described as slow and quiet, trailing off sometimes at the end. But in combat, she is completely stoic. Fearless and unwavering, a shield that defends all by her side. Never backing down from an opponent, never giving up, but caring more about the friends behind her than the opponent in front of her.
This unwavering nature is a bane just as much as it is a boon. While it means she will try to protect everyone, pushing herself to her limits to save as many as she can and never give up, it often causes her to push herself to the very brink of her physical limits. Often, if she fails to save people she could have, she falls into a depression.
Overall, a good way to describe her is a awkward savant. Expertly skilled in her field, but sorely lacking in almost all other areas.

Abilities:
Swordsmanship: Extremely skilled with a sword and shield. A powerful mixture of defense and offensive.
Insane durability and stamina: As a paladin, her endurance is beyond that of a normal mortal. Able to tough out situations that would get one killed.
Light magic: Inherit light magic, as a part of being a paladin
Melee weapons savant: Able to master melee weapons extremely quickly if they're given to her, even in the heat of combat
Not so great with range/magic: Ranged weapons and magic staves are beyond her skills. Even when she is able to master a spear in mere days, she has yet to gain skill in a bow, no matter how hard she tries.
