Character Sheet: Tazkul Aphid's Character Sheet
Backstory:

To those who do not know of Dragonborn clans would think of the Aphid clan as an unusual lot. This silver brood can be seen across the land with books and scrolls alike, scouring for the answers to unanswerable questions and collecting the lore of all cultures and, in a few cases, being both its record keeper and its enactor. They tend not to travel in large groups, normally only traversing in a group of about three or four, and that typically comes with the caveat that some of those traveling with them are children.

Tazkul at one time was one such child, traveling alongside his mother and father recording his own notes on the world as he assisted his parents with theirs and beginning to learn the path he would take when he ventured out on his own. In his studies, Tazkul found himself adept at his father's study of the arcane arts while his mother's strength gave him the martial prowess to be able to defend himself better than most mages could. It was clear, however, that Tazkul took to the study of magics very easily, especially finding great interest in the research of artifacts of magical power.

Around 15, his coming of age, Tazkul's family encountered another small group of traveling Aphid, and a cousin who was also reaching an age to take to his own research. His name was Baltrun, and coincidentally, he and Baltrun were seeking information on the same thing; an artifact said to hold great power. Between their collective notes, they had come to the conclusion that the artifact in question was a ring with an emerald stone set in it, and that it seemed to radiate with power, almost hypnotically to draw in those that sought it. This allure is what made the power of the ring dangerous; namely, the ring was said to be able to drain the life force of others, but with the caveat that it would take its bearer's life if it was not fed. Of course, one question both of them had yet to answer was how to resist the allure of such a ring to be able to properly study its capabilities instead of putting it on without full understanding or attentiveness to the consequences.

The two of them inevitably found themselves navigating a cavern that supposedly held information on the ring's whereabouts and purpose, and as they traversed, the earth rumbled around them and the floor split beneath them. He tried to save him. Tazkul had been able to pull himself to the cliffside where the walkway once stood, but he reached for Baltrum, unable to catch him before he plummeted down into the depths below, never to be seen again.

Tazkul left that cavern with less than he had entered with; no new information on the ring, no new leads on where next to look, and no research partner to continue the search alongside him. However, Tazkul left with one thing still very much intact; the will to ensure that his cousin's death did not go in vain. He would continue their research and, with luck, conclude it if it was the last thing he did.

Hullo!

Character Sheet:

Please mark that you have 2 slots at 1st level (not just the maximum amount).

You can also roll 1d10 for extra starting gold on top of your background gold.

Your AC is 10 (since it's 10 + DEX).

Please list your weapons under attacks as well -- your quarterstaff would be a +6 for attack bonus (+4 STR +2 PROF), and then 1d6+4 bludgeon OR 1d8+4 if you use it with two hands.

Character Backstory:

I see nothing here that catches my eye as needing to be changed.

Please make your edits to the google sheet and tag me ( Abrahms Abrahms ) in the Discord when ready for me to look it over once more, or answer any questions you have!
