I’d be quite happy to do several posts a day, but I also wouldn’t mind something slower.
Backstory:

If you ever see Ina returning to town you probably don’t look twice: an elf of average height with deep brown eyes, snorting with laughter at a joke her companion just made. Her long, dirty blonde hair is pulled back into a style that probably looked quite fancy when it was first done - however many days ago that might’ve been, judging by the loose hairs that stick to the cut on her cheek. She wears well-fitting leathers, now half-covered in mud and something darker. Blood or oil, perhaps? Neither would surprise those who knew her. Neither would it surprise them to see her a few days later, hair flowing silkily over her handsome blouse and trouser ensemble as she negotiates a deal with an upper market trader for some trinkets she found, smiling to herself as she comes away with a new pouch full of coin. A hungry street child watches greedily, sensing an easy target as she wanders absentmindedly down a side alley. He hurries around the corner - only to find himself alone. A few coins sit on the floor weighing down a note that says "try not to stare so much".

Despite her street smarts, Ina - full name Inawenys - is the youngest daughter of Llewelyn and Astrid Hanali, once noble elves who ran Hanali House - an auction house that specialised in imported antiques and reclaimed treasures, catering primarily to museums and curators "who understand the value of acquiring such unique items". Ina, ever critical, viewed it as selling them at exorbitant prices to other well-off individuals who wanted something to show off to their "friends" for a few months, or until they inevitably became bored again. However you see it, she grew up in a life of comfort, her educational, spiritual and developmental needs met and often surpassed. Like many in this lifestyle, however, she felt a need for something more.

Ina loved studying the myriad objects that passed through the auction house, and grew just as fascinated with the tales about the objects and their owners. Insatiable, she would spend hours in the back of the auction halls, listening to how the items had been found, their histories, hoping for tales of adventure. Her normal studies of religion and history (the dull bits, at least) became of less and less interest to her; after lessons she began sneaking around the estates (and occasionally the city proper) listening to what people said when they thought nobody else was around. It didn't hurt that the odd coin or piece of jewellery occasionally found their way into her pockets, either. She fancied herself an adventurer of sorts, pretending that she was hiding in a dragon's lair or facing down some other horror, avoiding obstacles and enemies alike. These adventures had a range of outcomes, from stealing flowers to cheer up a sad baker who made her favourite cookies to hiding a dead rat in the bedroom of a girl who had mocked her in lessons.

After it was discovered that Ina was behind the rat incident (through process of elimination - Ina had been very careful to leave no proof) her parents sat her down with a "diplomatic advisor" of theirs - if she liked snooping so much, they said, she may as well put it to good use. And so from that day, Ina was taught the subtleties of court and nobility. She attended meetings, parties, negotiations, all of the events and formalities expected of her.

Dealing in information and learning to read people face-to-face seemed to scratch the itch (she still lifted the odd trinket here and there…some habits are hard to break) and she was somewhat enjoying herself until the scandal hit. Over the years there had been an ever-increasing feud with another auction house that reached boiling point when it transpired that the Hanali house had been dealing unlicensed goods and had knowingly sold stolen items behind closed doors. It was brought to light by none other than Caerin Hanali - the eldest child - who felt scorned when he learned that middle child, Tamalis, would be inheriting more of the business than he would.

It took merely a few weeks for the family to be shunned and stripped of the vast majority of their assets. Apart from Caerin, who secured a place at the rival auctioneers - how convenient. For a few months they made their way in another district, Ina’s parents choosing to pin all the blame on Caerin for his dishonour. After a heated argument amongst the remaining family members, it was brought up that Ina was the one who had inadvertently told Caerin about the inheritance. She was thrown out in fury and told to never return, and for the second time in under a year found herself without a home.

Ina had, however, been somewhat prepared for this eventuality and had stashed some money away. She bought herself some equipment and a one-way trip on a caravan to a city far from her family where she could start afresh and begin the adventure she’d always dreamed of as a child. After a few months of small jobs she decided she needed to join a real adventuring party and take on some real challenges…

Hullo!

Character Sheet:

As mentioned before, please write in your feat from the Noble background. It may not come up much in the campaign, but still worth having it listed.

As being a high elf, you get access to a wizard cantrip. I didn't see any picked -- please pick one, and know your DC or spellcasting modifier is based off your INT. (Current DC = 13 / spellcasting modifier = +5)

Otherwise, since it was done through D&D Beyond, there's nothing else that sticks out to me.

Character Biography:

Nicely written! I see nothing here that sticks out or needs to be corrected.

Please make the changes to the sheet and reupload it to your original post, when ready for another lookover or have questions, feel free to tag me ( Abrahms Abrahms ) in the Discord!

Thank you ☺️

I’ve added the noble feature as a special action so you should be able to see that via D&D Beyond now, And I’ve chosen Message for my cantrip. I also forgot to choose an additional language for my race so I have Draconic now.

Hope that’s all good!
