Carmen

Carmen stayed silent. Even at the kids glare and suggestion that they feed her to the plants. The kid was stupid anyway. She tensed her muscles and smiled a bit. Then chuckled. These adults were so.... stupid. Especially the adult that ”dismantled” her gun. The kids were harmless, annoying but harmless. She might just shoot at the boy again, purposely missing of course, just to watch him piss his pants. She was just about to break free from the Ninja’s grip, and flip him over (she can do that, her creator was a child who knew nothing of how the world worked so he unintentionally made her absurdly strong) when a voice whispered in her head. No, you need them to get out of here. Wait for the right moment. She was just about to activate her electric gloves and shock the poor water ninja - she knew that because of the cliche color scheme - but decided against it. Just then her glasses got a signal. And Carmen’s heart leapt. Hermione! She was here too. But very far away and as usual she didn't have her glasses on, so they couldn't communicate.

Within the abyss of greens, there he lays. His body, with a chain mail latched onto it, rests upon a great tree, whilst he sits. Chain mail starting to show weariness from the countless battles. His clothing, similar to that of a commoner's from his land, visible under the nooks and crannies of the iron armor. Beside, a backpack laying upon the rich grass, seemingly blessed with equipment of all sorts, with a shovel hanging at its outside. His left hand holds a hand crossbow, loaded. His right holds a great sword, with a blade so blackened, possibly from every creation it had cut down. His both hands, even if it had taken the lives of others, hold both weapons with gentleness. Face, despite the dirt and scars from cuts, breathed tranquility as he sleeps. Escaping for a short while from all the burden he carries. His sleep certainly displays a humane side. After all, a sleeping beast is not all too different from a sleeping person. Within the abyss of greens, there he lays. Accompanied not by a single soul, but the relaxing breezes, and the melodious dancing of the greens.

Dr. W.D. Gaster
Location: Beach

This... was the surface... right? Standing among the sandy dunes and watching the water lap the shore, he squinted with his good eye socket and raised a hand, as if it would do any good to shield his vision from the sun. Y'know, since he had a huge hole cut through the palm and all. He had taken a quick inventory of himself upon landing here - not a bone broken, his HP no lower than it had been before he'd landed. He was missing his labcoat, however, which made the scientist moderately upset. Rolling the sleeves of his turtleneck sweater up past his elbows, he adjusted the glasses tapped to the sides of his face, and took in his surroundings more thoroughly.

Palm trees, vibrant green ferns and other shrubs. This place was clearly tropical in nature, and if the convex curve of the beach as well as the lack of land extending to the sides was anything to go on, more than likely an island. At least he could see the sun again, the sun and the ocean and the-

His thoughts stopped dead in his tracks. He was alone. On the surface. Where the humans are. Of course, at his age and LV, he wasn't afraid of a couple humans. He could take care of a small scouting party with relative ease. Rather, he was somewhat miffed about it, honestly. He didn't trust humans in the slightest. In fact, unless there were only monsters on the island, he was not going to stay here. He had to get back to the underground, back to his lab...

A heavier sinking feeling settled in his non-existent gut. Alphys had let 1-S and 2-P out. Likely she'd take them to King Asgore. Gaster's plans and experiments were ruined from here on out, his data meaningless now. Knowing the king, he'd take them on as his sons and probably sentence Gaster to jail for his actions. Or worse. It had been a possibility Gaster had taken into account before starting his experimentation, but now that the threat or death loomed over him... he was starting to think perhaps living on an island full of humans wouldn't be so bad. At the very least he could kill one or two and harvest their SOULs, if only to keep himself safe from the rest of them.

First things first, though, he'd need a shelter and a food source. Turning from the crystal clear waters, he entered the foliage of the island, beginning his search for a suitable space to set up camp.

Delta wasn’t going to fall for anything. He could TELL she was thinking of escaping. It was obvious. He had dealt with COUNTLESS hostages, and Carmen was no different. When she didn’t try though, the ice only began to spread across her body, covering her hands, most of her legs, and her ankles. All that was left uncovered, were her feet, neck, and head. The ninja actually leaned on her, as if leaning on a wall.

“So, thinkin bout escapin?? I know you are. That look in you’re eyes, it’s familiar and all... Xander, keep an extra eye on her. I don’t trust the ice will hold... even if it IS MY ice....”

The ninja brushed his hair back with his hand and then scruffed it up. If anything went wrong, Carmen would most likely be covered in scorching hot water. So, Delta didn’t worry too much.

The "drunk" Russian kept his EPC WN up at his shoulders, aiming it right where he heard the noise. Nikolai's finger was twitching on his gun's trigger, ready to go when a girl popped up from the woods, apparently calm enough to smile through the shoulder wound she'd sustained. The Soviet glanced behind Kira, pointing the rifle's barrel at the foliage with a scowl on his old wrinkled face.

"If attacker is stupid enough to use medieval weaponry, then Nikolai has win sure as he has vodka in flask!" The Belinski declared, though after a few moments it became apparent that absolutely nobody was coming around to get a burst of Element 115 to the face. That said, a smoke cloud began to waft over the jungle trees- visible even to a drunkard, such as the Communist. He slung the WN over his shoulders, the wooden-futuristic weapon clinking against the upgraded HK-21 and Ray Gun.

"Well, fire is always sign of something. Maybe is good sign and not bad sign, da?" Nikolai commented, glancing over the giant teddy bear and Cassandra before walking off into the jungle, obviously going to investigate the source of the smoke wafts.

Shilo watched as the adults talked, wishing they weren’t here. Sure, maybe she and the boy would be a little bit safer, maybe not, but she was hearing her parents’ voices again and all their warnings about strangers. Those voices stopped, however, when the older woman took off her shirt. Her skin was so pretty...She was so pretty. It took Kade yelling about throwing Carmen to the plants to pull the little girl from her trance like stare. The child turned her attention on the boy as he stepped away from everyone. She couldn’t blame him, she didn’t want to be around them either. Now that they were here though, there was nothing to be done about it. Besides, they were talking about punishing the girl that had shot at them. Now that she thought about it, the first shot on the Island had probably been a punishment as well, against the red-headed woman. Shilo turned back to Special Agent Xander, then Delta and Carmen, finally landing on Aixa again for a moment longer than the others.

As the group started walking again, the little girl stepped in next to the older woman, looking up at her from time to time when she didn't feel like she needed to focus on the plants. She was too shy to say anything, but something about this person made her think she was the safest to be around. Though, she did make Shilo's tummy flutter a little bit, and she didn't know why, being next to her just felt safer than being next to anyone else.

Alpha
By the time Nikolai found Alpha, she was humming to herself, cooking a rabbit she had caught, skinned, and then cleaned the innards out of (which were buried next to a tree). She had even found a few herbs to spice it up, so it wasn't drab. She didn't mind that Nikolai found her, she had been waiting so long she was, for once, craving interaction. She waved, and gestured to the fire

"Want some?"

She asked, since she figured after a while of cooking, the browned rabbit would be safe to eat. She'd even managed enough fire magic to boil a small amount of pond water next to her to make it fairly safe to drink (she didn't feel the best despite it, and figured she hadn't boiled it long enough), which was stored in a small bowl made of wood held together by hardened sap she'd formed with said fire magic.

"I've been here the better part of the day, so I've just set up camp here."

KADE

Kade realized that he obviously wasn't being listened to anymore and took to kicking the plants at his feet, scowling and muttering. Even if they were "safer" around the adults, he didn't necessarily feel that way, and everything had been better when it was just himself and Shilo. Maybe not more fun, because none of this was fun, but it had certainly felt freer. He could be a jerk, Shilo could be a jerk, and his dad couldn't hit him later for doing something he didn't like. Kade didn't know if any of these adults would do that.
Also he was still mad about being flipped off.

AIXA

Aixa hadn't seemed to notice when Xander realized she wasn't his Aixa, but for now, that didn't matter. She scanned the plants around them, looking for landmarks (this would be so much easier with Teya) and trying her best to quell the urge to itch or rub at her shoulder. She tried to stay near Xander, telling herself that it was practical (he was the only person here she could communicate with, after all), but actually... she would never admit she still cared for him, even though this was an alternate version of him that didn't actually know her and obviously hadn't cared enough about past-alternate-Aixa not to leave her.
She winced and slowed down a bit with another headache--and wave of deja vu. The deja vu was her own doing. The headache was one of the other Aixa's. Damn it, was she going to be stuck with this the rest of her life?
Aixa snagged Xander's sleeve to get his attention and signed, 'Go right. There should be another cave beneath a large plant's roots. The plant is either dangerous or it isn't. I don't know.'

It happened like a blink of an eye, just as before. Though, this time she hadn’t been in the closet, hiding from her mother. She’d been in the kitchen, reading through one of the books her father had told her to finish before he got home. Her mother was cooking dinner, asking Shilo to join her on the floor so they could dance until the food burned. “Mamai, I can’t-,” the five year old’s words were cut short as she entered the dream world once again. Or, what she thought had been a dream world. Her mother had told her that she’d probably just fallen asleep in the closet and gotten herself wrapped up on something scratchy, which explained the scratches on her legs. It had been a far more logical explanation than an island that the child had just appeared on. But, here she was again.

Teal eyes scanned the forest as she froze, holding her hands close to her chest as her teeth sank into the inside of her bottom lip. A pink bow tied her hair back, she wore a plain, blue dress and no shoes or socks. She remained still, keeping away from any of the plants that would attack her. Where had everyone else gone?

Zira

Zira soon grew ... uninterested in current affairs and in a matter akin to acute jadement, she cast her eyes around, scanning the trees and everything around her. It did not take long for her to detect the column of smoke raising above the trees and immediately her matrix started downloading the coordinates. She looked down and spotted Carmen walking into the trees. With something akin to curosity, though her matrix would recongize that as error to her coding, she began to follow Carmen. She had caculated that due to her extreme senses, she would most likely hear her following. That did not matter for she did not intend to be stealthy. Her Matrix also warned that if her senses were that acute there is a high probability that she might already know her function as a machine, just by listening to her servos as they worked their motor functions. Nevertheless she still followed and soon came upon her designation.

Two more lifeforms bleeped on her radar, an goat woman of some sort and an old man nestled by a fire. She watched as Carmen extended a greeting toward them all.

Then walked toward them. But keeping her speech modules silent.

Aixa was surprised when she blinked away, mostly because she thought she'd seen the end of the cave, but she wasn't surprised when she blinked back, now with a shirt on (but at least she'd managed to bandage her shoulder). She hadn't told anyone back in her world. They'd believe her, of course, but she didn't really need to tell them, did she? She didn't know where this was going... yet. If it became a problem, she'd address it.
She didn't hear Xander, partially from readjusting to the situation, but mostly just because her ears were shit. But she followed him anyway, still not quite aware that he didn't know she wasn't his Aixa.
His Aixa was doing better than he'd left her, at least if the social media she posted was any indicator. The last post had been her with another girl, holding hands on the beach, the other girl kissing a paint stain on her cheek.

KADE

Kade had reappeared in the closet and come to the conclusion that it was all a drug trip (he hadn't found any drugs in the closet, though, so that weakened his theory, but not his delusion). When he blinked back into the cave--he'd been in the backyard this time, so he definitely hadn't taken drugs there--his legs hadn't quite had the time to heal over. He'd been picking at his scabs to avoid poking the days-old green and purple bruise on his cheek.
He looked around at everyone, huffing when he realized he was back wherever-this-was. And there was the fucking idiot girl. Kade folded his arms and huffed and turned his face from everyone there. The bruise was new to them, and they didn't need to see it.
(He was still as hungry as the last time he'd blinked in.)

Carmen

When Carmen disappeared, she had, of course, returned to the glorious hands of her Creator and through his power was able to cleanse her of her humiliation. Quietly she told him of what had happened, the mysterious island, the strange, much stronger adults. He had listened to it all, nodding along as he recounted his tail. It helped that her sister Hermione had apparently found herself on the same island, before she reappeared her in her own world. And then just like that, it was forgotten. The boy warlord continued his warpath against the Dominion and all their assets and Carmen continued to be well Carmen. Weeks passed until it happened again. She was fighting a bunch of flimsy adults with her weapons on strength when suddenly she was back in the forest again, with the rest. She would have cursed if it hadn't been for the fact that at this time, she didn't know any curse words.

She turned and noticed all the same adults. She wouldn't have changed that much, the same lightweight black armour she had always worn, the same black glasses, she looked very much like how a spy-kid would work. There was only one difference: one considerable difference. There was another girl with her. Same suit but this time with blue strips, with long wavy brown hair and bangs that cast a huge shadow over her eyes, she also bore semblance to the actress Emma Watson in her younger years, though that resemblance quickly fell away once you looked into her face with more detail. She looked a little menacing, then again, she is a child and everyone is either a hardened adult or a really fucked up kid, so she may not actually be that menacing - but she does give off that vibe at first. The other girl had a gun out, aimed at noone in particular, and when she realized that there were no enemies to shoot at, she quickly hosiltered it. Carmen turned her eyes to the two kids. The ones she had shot at. After getting a massive talking to from Hermione, she felt a little ashamed. But she was glad Hermione was there. She was free now so she glared at Delta as the group continued onward past the weird looking plants. Hermione followed. They were both silent as they trekked along with the group. Carmen couldn't help but notice that Kristine was awake now and was stumbling along with the rest of the group.

[[ Arlo || Open ]]

When Arlo appeared she was sleeping under a tree, but that didn't last for long. Almost immediately the young woman sensed some sort of change in her surroundings and opened her mismatched eyes. They darted from side to side, narrowing in confusion before she finally sat up to get a better view of her surroundings, her pale blonde hair falling over her scarred eye.

"What..." she murmured as she stood and took a couple steps from the tree. The place she was in looked almost the same as where she'd fallen asleep, but... it wasn't quite right. The more she looked around, the more things seemed off. The trees, the plants, even the feel of the place. Something wasn't right. Could it be the House? Was she finally going back? But what was the chance that the current room would look just like the world she'd been pulled from? Was the something in the forest screwing with her head again? That seemed... unfortunately possible.

But where was Jasper? Arlo's eyes widened as she scanned her surroundings again. She saw no one, but stranger than that was the fact that there were no signs of either of them being there, aside from her own boot tracks leading back to the tree. The satchel she'd taken from the shack on the beach was gone too. It was as if she'd just appeared there... It had to be the House. About time. Where were the others? "Hello?" she called.

Just in case, she slipped off one of her gloves and stuffed it into the pocket of her long, tattered coat. You never knew what you'd run into in House-generated forests... or the one she'd just come from.

Ermes had been walking through this humid jungle for some time now, all the while wondering where the hell she was. The last thing she could remember before she woke up here was having lunch with Jolyne and F.F., just minding their own business. So just how was it she ended up in this place? It could've been an enemy Stand user sent by Whitesnake, but it had happened much too fast and as far as she knew there was no such thing as a Stand that could just whisk you away to anywhere in the world. No Stand was that powerful, right? Either way, it was just so damn humid. She knew that Florida could get this hot, but it never seemed to bother her there. After having walked for a bit, Ermes had taken off her prison shirt and her sleeveless turtleneck, hanging them over her shoulder and leaving nothing but her bra to cover her chest. Ermes thought to herself as she trudged along, 'If this is some kind of Stand ability, then that means Jolyne and F.F. must be around here somewhere, right? I just have to find them! Before Whitesnake's lackey does!'

After some time, she came across some blonde hair pretty boy, holding a huge glowing axe like it was nothing. Though she had never seen a Stand shaped like a weapon before, she kept a fair distance out of caution. If it was a Stand he was carrying, chances were it had a short-range and that he'd have to come running if he wanted to cut her. If not, then she could just beat the crap out of him without any problems. "Hey, goldilocks. You mind waking up and telling me where I am? If you do, I promise not to smash your fucking nuts." Nothing beats a good old fashioned threat, Ermes thought smugly to herself. Not that it ever worked on any of Whitesnake's goons before. They were all usually cocky little freaks, so damn sure of themselves and their Stands. Either way, Ermes was kind of hoping this guy was the same. She was itching for a fight and proud jerks who liked to measure their dicks were always fun to hit.

Wide, teal eyes flitted between the others, noting the girl that had shot at her and the boy, as well as another girl. Shilo tensed when she saw that she had a gun in her hands, and relaxed only slightly when it was holstered. If this girl was hanging out with the jerk, then she couldn’t have been too much better… but at least she wasn’t trying to shoot at them, also. Finally, her gaze landed on Aixa. A small smile tugged at Shilo’s lips as she lifted a hand to wave but then dropped it again quickly before anyone could notice. Her heartbeat picked up the pace a little bit as she felt a little awkward in her movements now. Had the pretty girl noticed? Her attention wasn’t on the older female for long as she caught sight of the little boy from before. He was just as grumpy. She didn’t try to wave at him.

The older male, Xander, had started moving and Shilo followed along. She avoided the plants just like he did, mimicking his movements when she needed to. Though, being smaller than he was, she didn’t have to dodge much. When he stopped, she stopped as well, looking up at him with her wide eyes as he explained his plan. Her brow furrowed and she followed his gaze to Aixa, more checking to see if she agreed with it than anything else.

Xander really shouldn't have trusted Aixa to do what he said; she wasn't as meek as the Aixa Xander knew, and she was still upset at her-Xander and this-Xander for leaving her and other-her. When Xander's gaze finally landed on hers, she huffed and rolled her eyes, stepping past him towards the tree. What made him leader of the group? What even was this group? She couldn't believe she missed Vincent right now, or adult-Kade and his snarky comments. Actually, she didn't really miss Kade, since most of those comments were directed at her, and child-Kade was already too much to handle.

This-Xander didn't have powers, though. He just had a gun. Aixa had seen enough futures to know that she didn't die in this one.

She kicked the root of the tree and squinted up at the branches. Like most trees, this didn't look like one that could move.

KADE

Kade glanced between the remaining people, trying to get reoriented. They were still in the same evil-plant place; he started feeling a phantom itch on his legs, as if to confirm it. And the same evil-girl was there, but now free, and with another weird freak with her. He didn't like that. He didn't like that they had guns. He didn't like that he was here. If he had to pop off to some fantasy-land every so often, then why couldn't it have been a decent one without carnivorous plants and psychos?

He stayed closest to Shilo, even though he didn't know her that well either and she'd pushed him earlier. She was just the one he knew best.

  • She was sleeping for at least an hour in the Jungle. Whatever possessed her to do so was unknown, but she woke up in a start after the end of her dream ended with a nightmare of her losing her Teddy Bear: The only attachment she had to the one she loved the most. To say the least the young girl was not surprised to see herself once again in a lush green jungle. The face of pure surprise flourished Frankie's features as she got up to dust herself off. "Uhmm.... Is this... that place ? " . Her instincts confirmed it, making her eyes shrink in terror. The, she realized she never really left, and a soft sigh escaped her lips. "I hope he's doing okay...."

Holding tightly to her teddy bear the little child, barely a preteen, proceeded to head deeper into the jungle. She held herself tightly, as if somehow that would make a difference to her situation and make the scenario better than it was currently. She wasn't sure exactly how she returned, but it was safe to say she returned for all the wrong reasons. She was skittish, afraid, and overall nervous being in this environment, as despite the niceties of the people involved she wasn't exactly fond of the place at least.

However, all of a sudden her teddy bear broke free of her, as if it moved on it's own. She sort of panicked but it continued to avoid her as she hurriedly tried to get it back, as it was special to her in ways most wouldn't understand... Why was the teddy bear doing this out of the blue ? The teddy knew the importance of what was going to go down, so it was best to be with those whom she was with when it all began. And since this exact teddy bear knew this, it was acting as a spirit guide and leading her where she needed to be.

She continued to follow it as they avoided some of the greater dangers of the jungle thanks to the bear's unnatural sense of direction and sensing the superhuman forces around the vicinity. Eventually they came across a peculiar cave and got a chance to see at least a few people she recognized, specifically the water ninja Birb Birb , alongside a few others she vaguely remembered.

She continued to follow them silently as the teddy bear had finally went back into her arms. She didn't want to interrupt whatever they were doing because she didn't think she was going to have enough importance to make a contribution as of now. As she continued to follow them a loud voice, but whispy in texture rang in her inner ears. At first she didn't think so but it was pretty clear she recognized the voice. " Hello, Twerpette. Did that fool forget my promise already ?!?! " . She turned around and saw the ghostly specture of yours truly, Vicky.

"M... Miss Vicky ?" . Frankie stuttered softly, as she looked over the spectre. Vicky would sigh and tilt her head in confusion. "Yes it's me.... Who else would it be ? Last thing I remember was falling into a flaming abyss, the next I wake up here again... But not really alive... But not fully dead either". Vicky told the child, who looked a bit uneasy at her sudden return. She went to try to touch her, and to both of their surprise she was able to touch her earning her a slight yelp which might've been heard and Vicky was shell shocked. A random kid can interact with ghosts ? Well, if her instincts told her when she was alive the kid was special, now was a confirmation of this as fact.

Vicky hushed her. " I don't know if they can see ghosts... But I'd rather not explain to them how I'm essentially haunting a little girl. But, do you have any idea what they'd do to me if they realize I'm haunting a child ? I could be banished or who knows what ? So, until they find out or something please don't tell them " . All Frankie did was nod, although it was clear she wasn't sure about this. Vicky thanked her with a nod as she continued to follow Delta for now until he reached the group.

That was, until the ninja she recognized was conversing with the girl who apparently did something she shouldn't have. She knew she shouldn't interfere, but she didn't really like anyone being hurt. She softly stated, which due to most of the area being silent could likely be heard, however the stutter is plain due to the fact talking to those she doesn't really know or social interaction in general can get her flustered really quickly. "Uhmm... M-Mister ? I... Is there anyway to diminish the punishment... Like m-maybe an alternative ?". She asked, fidgetting as it was clear she wasn't confident in what she said as she didn't know all the details, plus of who the other person even was.

Then Frankie's eyes met Xander's [ Nightwisher Nightwisher ] after finally meeting up with the others , and she shivered. They were about as cold as when she first met him days ago, and it didn't seem as if anything changed. Vicky smirked. "I could tell from the moment I met him he was one who only thought about two things: Himself and others... He hides the 'self' part very well though. I would've loved to have seen his capabilities first hand, but whatever. Now that Im a gost at least he can't shoot me again ". Frankie just sighed as she recalled what happened, tears flowing from her face at a life lost. Vicky sighed and just knelt down. "He was in the right, Frankie. Being tormented for a few days has taught me that much. However, that can't ever be changed and I doubt he'd be willing to listen to me even if he could interact with ghosts ". This made Frankie feel better, but not by much. She wasn't aware she was the reason Vicky was back, but obviously it would be revealed in due time.

She continued to silently follow Xander as it was clear she needed to follow either him , Alpha, Shilo, or Delta... and since she couldn't track the other 3 as they left to their own devices Xander was the only other option left. She pleaed " I hope he doesn't mind me doing this... " . She mumurred as then they came across a cave with plants within clearly. Of course she was able to mimick his movements to avoid the plants as she was quick to adapt despite her lack of combat awareness like Shilo or really any other notable tenant of this weird island. As he explained his plan, she didn't like the implication that if some were to be left, it was essentially do or die without assisting. She was about to cry when a weird light eminanted from her teddy bear.

Then, the teddy bear returned, the same giant teddy bear she knew and loved. She was carried by him and they embraced each other... Missing the other for the longest time The teddy bear responded in the familiar voice those who knew it from before would recognize. "With all due respect Xander... I'll be joining you. It's better for two to actively confront a potential threat than one, regardless of combat experience. Frankie.... ". She looked up at him as he put her down, making her worry and tense up a bit, but his eyes gave her comfort and she relaxed a bit more. "... Sweet Frankie... Be as close to them as possible when he is executing this plan and follow what he says . I'll stay behind and hold off the plants if they get too close to the ones who cannot defend themselves properly for the time being. If I don't make it back do not come back to look for me " . He said firmly, and Frankie nodded, trying to hold back the tears for her sake.

He then shockingly enough looked back at Vicky, who realized he could see her. If one would notice Vicky flickered in and out of ghost form as he stared, as if letting the others know she was there before returning to ghost form ".... You used to be a babysitter, correct Vicky ? Act like one and protect her with your life, or I'll be forced to return you to the hell where you belong... and I'll make sure to visit and make your hell a living nightmare" . The sincerity in those eyes and wrath honestly made her shutter, as if all the truth in what she said was obvious in that stare, as if she was staring at all the collective bloodlust of a person who didn't have anything in their soul besides caring for one individual , but she nodded slowly before he nodded in response.

Nightwisher Nightwisher (Felix)

Ermes blinked as the man responded casually to her questions and threat. Where did this guy get off acting all cool, like nothing was wrong? She already had her suspicions about him, but that only seemed to cement her beliefs. "Paradox Isle? What kids show did you steal that name from? And who's we? I've been walking through this place for a while now and so far you're the only other person I've seen." She thought she'd heard him mumbling, but she didn't know what he had said. What she did know, however, is when she was being mocked as he gave a prissy little bow and a sarcastic 'how do you do.'

Ermes gave him a tough smile in return. "So, you're a smartass, huh? I eat cocky bastards like you for breakfast. Do you understand? I don't know what comic convention you just came from, but your get up and your fancy ax aren't impressing me." At this point, Ermes was ready to just write him off as some idiot who got lost in the woods with his friends, but when he mentioned that his axe 'isn't what she thinks it is,' that made her tense up a bit. "So, it isn't, huh? And just how do you expect me to believe that when it seems like you're reading my mind like a book? Do you really think I'm stupid enough to fall for a trick like that?"

[[ Arlo || Nightwisher Nightwisher ]]

Arlo turned in the direction of the voice, raising an eyebrow. It was coming from somewhere behind her but she couldn't see who was speaking from where she was standing. She started toward the sound as she answered. “If I was hiding I wouldn't be talking,” she replied, a slight hint of irritation in her voice.

She was a bit disappointed too. She’d hoped that after so long away from the House she would see someone she knew, but she hadn’t recognized the voice, and since she couldn’t hear anyone else talking she doubted that anyone else was nearby. Either it was pretty much empty or it was a very large room, neither of which would be particularly unusual.

It didn’t take too long for the young woman to locate the person, or creature, who’d been talking to her. Arlo titled her head slightly, reminded a bit of a fox-like creature she'd recently encountered in the world she and Jasper had traveled to. It seemed like it had been a long time since she'd seen a blinker who wasn't humanoid. This one reminded her a bit of some she'd met before, but that had been years ago.

"Sorry," she said suddenly, realizing her inquisitive stare had probably seemed a bit weird, if not rude. "I haven't met a lot of non-humans recently." It seemed less likely to bring up more questions than her looking familiar. She couldn’t really remember a lot about the world those other blinkers had been from, and they didn’t look quite the same anyway. "My name's Arlo."

    Condition: Healthy
Shilo noticed that the boy stayed closest to her, but said nothing about it. She could understand why, and she didn’t really mind. The little girl nodded as the man gave orders, but merely watched as the woman ignored them. She stiffened when the older female kicked the roots, but relaxed when nothing happened. With slight hesitation, she followed after the others into the cave and back out onto the island. Well, it was better than the cave but it still wasn’t home. The male adult said something about regrouping. Did he assume there were still others on the island? Shilo didn’t know, and in all honesty, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to find out. Her gaze shifted to the young boy, then the two girls with guns, and the third that had joined them. The one that had the stuffed bear. There were more children than adults, and that didn’t really sit well with the five year old. Especially since the boy was annoying and mean, one of the girls with guns they knew was a jerk, and the other girl was a bit odd. Shilo’s gaze shifted back onto the adults before she sighed. “We...should probably try to find food and drinking water,” she stated, equally not wanting to call attention to herself but also feeling like it needed to be said.[/div][/div]

Kristine Giovanni
Kaya Scodelario is beautiful

Kristine awoke on the ground, blinking away something in her eyes, holding onto a bottle. She gasped awake, and looked wearily around. She was still in the cave, filled with large plants. She can vaguely hear some people and slowly got up. Did she black out again? Man, this drink must be strong! Then she remembered. The little girl with the gun, the pain of being shot and .... then what?? She couldn't remember anything after that. But amensia was a common thing for her to experience. She looked around at the group of people around her. They appeared to have completely ignored, there was no concern about her, no sense of shock or horror at what happened to her. Whatever, Kristine didn't much care. She took another chug of the alochol and then walked with the group, ignoring everyone else, not out of spite but more out of simply just not caring, what's the point of caring about others if they don't care about her? So she walked a little away from the others.

Eventually they came out of the bloody cave and she blinked at the sudden sunlight. It stabbed at her eyes.

She stumbled forward toward Xander.

"Okay. What are we to do now?" She said. "I would recommend we get some water. We need water. After all, we only have three days to live without it!" Why did she fucking say that?? Ugh! "Then food. Yep food. Then shelter --- and then.... why am I fucking telling you this!? You already know that! I'm being stupid, god damnit! Go ahead and tune me out, I will just be right here, drinking until I'm too drunk to move." With that, she chugged at least half the bottle and giggled a bit at the sudden buzz. "Damn that's good!"

Nightwisher Nightwisher @Cavegang

KADE

Kade crawled through the cave behind Shilo, nervous that one of the people behind him would hurt him. He rushed Shilo a bit, grumbling mostly to himself, and stepped to the side when everybody else left the cave. It was odd, to be back where they started, but at least there were no carnivorous plants... maybe. They hadn't been out here long before he and Shilo had rushed into the cave, and that was because all the adults were fighting, and someone had been shot. Kade was still wary of the guns some of these other people had."How big does an island have to be for food to be there?" He asked. "I don't like fish. They smell bad. What food even is there? Are bananas an island food? I like those." He hugged his stomach, trying to ignore its emptiness.

AIXA

Aixa was about to sign, but Shilo beat her to the suggestion. She pointed to Shilo and nodded, and then pointed in another direction. 'Fresh water that way first,' she signed to Xander, fairly confident that no one else understood her, finding it ironic that this Xander was more fluent in sign than her own Xander. 'And then we need to talk.' If he hadn't already noticed that Aixa was different, he needed to be told. The adults at least needed to know what she could do so they would trust her.

Derpinstion

Walking along the island, Derpinstion would express his thoughts loudly.
"For something like this to exist, what hides here must be impressive. Like a melting pot of beings from different universes, I believe this might be the center of the multiverse."
Due to his pondering, some nearby might have heard what Derpinstion have said.

Mainframe Victoria
Status: All Systems at Full Integrity!
Actions: Reconning the Area

Somehwere else on the island, a giant FWOOSH was heard as a pink anomaly materialized.
The anomaly slowly faded to reveal the giant form of Mainframe Victoria.
Victoria's systems instantly went into disarray when the anomaly cleared. Victoria instantly realized something was wrong. It was supposed to be at the U.S. to search for suspicious activity, not this island.
The only rational thing to do was to recon the area. Victoria had zero idea where the hell it was.
And for that, the Drone would be an optimal choice.
The familiar soft "ping" and the whir as Victoria kicked its Warfare (Robot Summoning) subsystem into gear.
CLICK. CLICK. CLICK.
(Drone selected, Tankbot and Droid summoned by RNG)
Drone. Perfect for the job. The small robot shot right into the air and hovered forwards, searching for what was wrong with the island.
Two more small pink portals came forth as a Droid and Tankbot were summoned. Victoria took note of that-they could be very useful.
For now, the Drone flew overhead the island, taking in the sights.

Shilo’s gaze shifted to the older, drunk woman when she stated doing the exact things the child had just said. The five year old said nothing, but the annoyance was clear on her face as she continued looking at Kristine for a good fifteen seconds before finally tearing her gaze away and turning it on Kade as he started talking. Despite her annoyance with the boy for rushing her through the cave exit, and just being kind of annoying in general, her features softened. “Um...I don’t know,” she admitted. Maybe she would ask her father if she ever returned home, or maybe she would just ask for books on island survival. Either way, Shilo would try to find as many answers as possible. “Bananas might be here, and different kinds of berries. And maybe even animals that aren’t fish,” teal eyes turned on the forest, peering into it as if she could see the many different kinds of animals that might inhabit the island for them to hunt. “There might be edible barks,” she offered, turning her attention back to the boy and then the adults. Edible plants she knew, but without being able to see them she couldn’t say for sure that the island had them. [/div][/div]
