Do the mortals have to be from a specific time period like within ~100 years of so? I have a few ideas and one of them means that the character will probably be from the 1800s-ish. Also, can the get stuck in some type of limbo for a while before arriving at the Casino or is it instant?

thank you! can you give me some more information on what sort of memories you'd like an angel to have and what kind of character you'd like an angel to be? you can PM me if that's easier.

Angels have memories of God creating them, of other angels and their interactions with them, and, most specifically, memories of looking down at particular humans from the heavens to earth. Usually they are watching someone who they have been designated to oversee. Maybe you could take a look at Once's character and see if you want your angel to be a watcher of them!

Is it okay if someone comes along to give an "everyone was created equal speech" or can I just have an NPC give Shawn some advice?

There is no coded sheet, there's just the sheet provided at the bottom of the initial post. Sorry if that was unclear!

And you can have an NPC come along or Lotus can do it, it's up to you. I recommend Lotus does it since she's sort of the head of operations, and she explains moral and physical boundaries in the casino to the others.

To those who expressed interest but have not finished character sheets, I just wanted to let you know that we just started roleplaying, but there is more than enough room for extra folks to hop in! Feel free to post in the "characters" thread if you want, or let me know if you're no longer interested/have too much on your plate. The character planning stage for this RP is slightly more rigorous than most due to character connections, so it's good for me to know who might be entering and who won't be.
