Futuristic Paradise City Chronicles

Unpronounceable Chinese name admired the handwork of the blonde man. Low budget or not, the montage was an effective way of accomplishing large amounts of work in an ambiguous amount of time. But they were now presented with another issue. Or more like... Issues... First they need to sneak the flashy purple robot out of the castle and halfway across the city, to the docks where they would load it into Alex's yacht, or aircraft carrier, if we have to be correct. In all honesty Alex was definitely not compensating for anything with that huge yacht. Nope... Not a all...

But as luck would have it, an explosion triggered the alarms in the nearby casino, as a professional robbers were trying to sneak $2.8 million worth of currency from the vault, dressed in tuxedos, wearing horse masks. Not that it was important to the plot, but it would provide a nice diversion, and an introduction to the new resident superhero, Bob.

The spotlight however was on the purple robot, which, thanks to the storytelling knowledge in progress, otherwise known as SKIP, was on the boat, along with Seriously, I forgot the Chinese woman's name, Crow, and Brandon Darcy, the captain of the ship, who happens to be Australian.

One quick traveling montage, full of Titanic references, later, the captain announced on the speakers. "We are approaching our destination. There is an exclusion zone around the island, so this is as far as I can take ya." The 300 ft yacht stopped just a couple of miles away from the island, but due to the mysterious fog, which surrounded it, it was hard to pinpoint the exact location by eye, and they had to fly in using navigation equipment only.

Island X, off the coast of Brasil, Tower 1.

The man, dressed in long black coat with the logo on the shoulder was standing in the center of an empty dark room, surrounded by monitors with all sorts of techy looking data. There was a hologram of a bald man with a goatee right next to him, wearing the same black coat, again with the logo on the shoulder. The real man had a hood on, which conveniently covered his face, not that it was easy to see in the dark. His hands had black leather gloves on them, so the man's, or woman's, identity was very well hidden.

"A 300 ft Galaxy Aquarius Class Yacht has been anchored 2 nautical miles Northwest of the island. Shall I dispatch the Scorpions?" The hologram asked.
"It would be a waste of resources. Send Max and Susan." The man replied. His voice was calm and soothing, like a father, who was telling their child a bedtime story. "As you wish, sir!" The hologram turned around as if to walk away and disappeared. Soon, 2 Zodiac boats were headed towards the Yacht, one had Max and 2 soldiers with him, the other had a samurai looking guy on it, with again 2 soldiers. The soldiers' uniforms varied in type, but they kinda sorta looked like ghosts. Max's uniform was similar, but with metal covered arms, and the samurai looked like it was more of a creature than a human being.

And the samurai

Captain Darcy looked at the radar, and informed the crew they were about to have visitors.

Thank badness for convenience! It truly was a magical thing, even if it did come at the expense of a group of uninspired robbers who stole money without ANY delicious desert covering the are. Never the less, they were on the boat and were away to this island. Fortunately, Crow had never seen Titanic so he was spared the horrible references of such a horrible movie.

As the Captain told them to expect company, the blond began to activate his new mech suit which he was confident wouldn't explode, after all, it was basic physics, Max was the bad guy so he'd lose, therefore Crow would win and not explode or get beaten to death, or have obscene 18+ things done to him by the tentacle samurai. "Ok, I'll distract them while you save Alex then we can both hope this boat doesn't sink otherwise we're going to die!"

As Max and his little strike squad arrived, Crow sat on the top of his mech ready to jump in "Well hey there Max, how ya doing? It's been a while, so how about you hand over your brother and forget about how a screwed you other on multiple occasions, like when I made you fall from the top of the building... or the other time I made you fall from the top of a building, and we can just go on like nothing happened and you can continue to do whatever weird crap you like to do with Cthulhu over there *motions to the samurai* Then we'll both be peachy, what do you say?"

Max motioned to the soldiers to get back to their boats. After giving each other a nod, agreeing that robotic mech suits were a little over their pay grade, they decided to board one Zodiac and do like a banana and split. Everything was going according to plan, as Litchi, the Chinese Not Becky, had managed to sneak on the said boat. Gotta love Chinese people, they are like ninjas!

Back on the yacht, Max nodded at the samurai tentacle monster. "Alright, Susan, leave this to me." Mac slammed his fists together, causing sparks to come out. The samurai grumbled something indeterminable, which resembled a dog choking on a piece of bone, from behind a large metal fan, inside a cave with lots of echo. Thankfully bellow him subtitles appeared, translating his choking on a bone behind a metal fan from inside the cave with lots of echoes sound into comprehensible sentence, which read "My name is Susano'o!"

This time however he didn't blindly attack. He sidestepped, stopping on the left side of Crow, allowing Susano'o, Susan for convenience, to stay on the other side, with both having surrounded Crow in a 90 degree angle. Then Max jumped towards Crow, Fist first. Susan on the other hand charged, jumping mid air, drawing both his swords, and using them as crutches, he walked towards Crow and his robot. For more info, refer to the Video down bellow.

Crow frowned slightly at Max's lack of reaction before lumping into his mech. He surveyed the two men, was Susan a man? maybe. "You know Max, I understand why you wanted back up, there were times when your dad struggled to beat me, and your not even half the man he was! Mwahahahaha!" Crow smiled at the man before cracking his neck. It had been so long since he'd had a good ol' fashioned mech fight.

The villain was glad he made the mech with four arms and he struck out at both simultaneously, aiming a rocket-propelled punch at Max, and a mechanical bitch-slap at the samurai "You know Max, I can relate to you in some way. I'm the youngest of six siblings, I know what it's like to be looked upon of the lesser of them, but that shouldn't dictate to you how to live your life, be your own person!" Crow obviously meant none of this sincerely, but he remembered how in movies, an emotional speech sometimes slowed the opponent down by making them think back on their regrets or some sentimental rubbish like that, but Crow was willing to make the sacrifice to get more time.

Max placed his arms in front of his face to block the rocket punch. He had to admit it hurt, but not as much as he expected. The new carbo - titanium armor plating was strong. He had to remind himself to thank his brother for inventing it. It took a while for him to regain balance. "This isn't working, Su, we need another approach."

The samurai however dodged the attempted bitchslap. He was fast, like teleporting from spot to spot. But even he had issues dodging the extra hands. He ended up blocking with his sword, but the strength sent hem back. He slid down the deck of the yacht, much to Darcy's horror. "Oye, mind the wood! I just varnished it 2 days ago!" Just to receive a growl, which the subtitles translated to a request towards the captain to remain silent, comparing him to fecal matter, and then an agreement to Max's statement.

Another set of growls translating roughly to an incantation, followed by some sword spinning, sent a small tornado in Crow's way. Max then punched his fists into one another, sending a shockwave towards Crow. They realized they were the worst possible match to a melee oriented enemy.

In the meantime, Litchi had managed to sneak into the basement, finding Alex, and recovering him, without anyone noticing. And all she had to do was just show her face, and cough at the guards a couple of time, leaving the rest to the news. Too soon? Maybe! Insensitive? Most definitely. Hotel? Trivago! Her immediate problem was how to get back to the boat.

Crow turned to look in the general direction of the captain "Really? That's your biggest concern at the moment?" Admittedly, it was very nicely varnished, very high quality, 10 out of 10, 5 stars, 100% on rotten tomato.

Seeing the shock wave and tornado, Crow brought all four arms together to form a shield, and while it protected him, it did successfully scratch the paintwork and more of the deck "Oi! Watch the paintwork! Do you have any idea how hard it is to paint something like this by hand without minions? Answer: VERY!" In retaliation, the blond villain unleashed two more rocket punches at the not so dynamic duo, as well as revealing to miniguns on the mech's shoulders which began unloading on the two heroes... villains? whatever they were. "You know, I've been thinking. What exactly is this organisation exactly, your not good guys, and your certainly not certified villains. Are you trying to by one of those edgy groups which do bad things for good reasons? because if so that's REALLY cliche."

Max managed to dodge the rocket punch, sliding back he actually listened to Crow for a change. "What the hell do you mean we are bad and edgy? We are the good guys, you are the bad guys, it's that simple!" He then shot a quick message to the central. "You heard that, Boss?" Max asked, much for the irrigation to the tall man with the long coat in the dark room. "Prepare a Goshawk!" He mumbled as he turned around and headed for the door.

The tilt rotor aircraft was already on the helipad, when the large man with the coat. There were several soldiers with him, different from the ones in the boats. Those were dressed in black and they had a logo of a scorpion tail on their shoulders. It was evident hey were the elite ones. Their weapons looked like larger assault rifles, and no ammo visible anywhere on them.

"Scorpion 1, Thunder, leader is inbound, disengage and clear an LZ!" Max was quick to reply to the radio chatter. "Affirmative!" He then nodded to Susan, who was engaged in a close hand to hand combat with the mech, using his swords to alternate a block and an attack. Despite his best efforts, he had 2 hands, as opposed to 4 from the mech. Whoever was under that tentacles was sure a tenacious one.

In the meantime Litchi was already nearing the yacht, when she saw the fight. "Ah, great, those knuckleheads gonna ruin my yacht!" Alex mumbled, while he was holding his chest. His arms densed up, he was ready to join the fight as soon as they were near the boat. Thankfully it didn't take long.

Alex jumped from the zodiac and kicked Max in the heels, throwing him off balance and onto the ground. All bets were off now. "Er, Brandon, you would want to get us out of here!" He yelled as he saw the incoming Tilt rotor, accompanied by 2 attack helicopters.

V-25_Goshawk.png.AH-80_Blackfoot.png

"In formation, approaching objective, 30 seconds!" The transport plane pilot announced on the radio. "All units, engage targets at will, Blackfoot helicopters provide air support, danger close. Be careful, there are 2 friendlies and 2 civilians onboard." The leader ordered. He seemed to be the serious one in this situation. "And please don't ruin the $9 million yacht!" He added in the end, obviously concerned about collateral.

Alex densed up his whole body, mimicking Max's gear, only on organic level. "So it comes down to this, brother! Mechanical versus organic!" His hands were covered in crocodile scales, armadillo shell, turtle shell, and pretty much every type of naturally occurring armor. His eyes were like the eyes on a snake, seeing Max in thermal. He was ready to fight. "You are not my brother, you allied yourself with that villain!" Max yelled back. He was angry again. He threw a punch at Alex, who blocked and punched him back. Max quickly recovered and attacked again, this time fainting an attack, causing Alex to counter, but Max blocked his counter and knocked Alex back. This went on for a while, alternating between Alex getting knocked down and Max getting knocked down.

Crow scoffed at Max "I know good guys, you are not one of them. Hell, I have issues with my siblings, but you don't see me beating the shit out of them and kidnapping them. All due respects Maxxie, you need therapy. What would dear old dad say?"

The blond villain did lose his cockiness a little when reinforcements showed up, even with Alex now joining him things didn't look great. As he listened to the two siblings argue he did feel he need to interject, raising a finger with one of his mech's four mechanical arms "In his defence, neither of us really knew who the other was. I was just a good hire. And as I said earlier, he wasn't the one which did a bunch of evil crap like attempted murder, face it Max, your just as dark and sinister as me." A look of realisation then crossed his face and he looked to the better Mercer brother "By the way, we probably need to talk about this if we get out of this alive... Oh, and your company is kinda screwed up at the moment, definitely Max's fault, not mine in the least. Evil brother, very bad."

After that amazing piece of acting, Crow decided to leave the family bonding to the brothers and focus on the embodiment of everything wrong with anime, namely Susan. Now with only one target, the attacks came harder, better, faster and stronger much like the song, as a surprisingly fast flurry of blows attacked the samurai.

And right on queue, the song started on the ship's speaker system. It was a party yacht after all, and one would expect it having nice sound system. "Sorry about that!" Darcy's voice echoed after the music stopped. "This thing has a mind of it's own!"

"ENOUGH!" A voice echoed! The circus was interrupted as hail of 20 mm bullets fired from the triple machine guns on the AH80 Blackfoot gunships tore the fighting pairs apart. Neither weapon seemed to be aimed at anyone in particular, they just fired a wall of bullets, breaking the fight apart. The V-25 Goshawk was hovering with an open cargo bay over the yacht, as several bodies jumped off, no parachutes whatsoever. They hit the yacht deck full force, but none of them appeared hurt, or even flinch at that matter. Each of the fighters, Max, Crow, Alex and Susan had a machine gun pointed at them, with 2 pointing at Crow and Alex. The man with the black coat slowly descended down in the middle of them all, with yellow lightnings running across his body.

"I expected more from you, Maximilian!"
He growled at Max, while he walked towards Crow. "You are supposed to be the voice of reason, Susano'o!" He spoke to Mr Hentai Superstar, who just raised his shoulders. "But back to you. Why don't you listen? Why do you answer everything with violence? Have you heard of a little something called diplomacy?" He asked Max again. "Now, I am gonna say this once and only once! SOCOM has no quarrel with you, Crow! Surrender Helix!" He reached for his belt, but there was nothing there. Seemingly out of nowhere he pulled a black steel sword with his right hand. The eerie silence was broken by his black leather coat flapping in the sea wind. "What is it going to be?" He asked again. Max stood down and powered down his mechanical exosuit, and walked back behind his leader, allowing he soldier to aim at Alex. Susano'o growled something and sheathed his sword. The subtitles translated into an expression of displeasure that he was having his fun times interrupted. He did the same, allowing the third soldier to aim at Litchi, as by that time she had assumed a battle stance with a bo staff in her hands, ready to kick ass...

Crow stopped himself mid punch as the bullets came flying in and backed off a bit, looking to the source of the shout. They certainly liked to make an impactful entrance, that's for sure. He was certainly shocked by this man's talk of diplomacy, not unwelcome, but the blond had definitely been expecting more crazy justice fanatics and not this. It did give him an idea though "You know, it's so nice to see someone willing to talk, though you'll have to forgive me if I don't entirely believe you when you say you have nothing against me, especially when Max has tried to kill me multiple times." Crow then began pacing back and forth in his mech suits, both sets of arms behind his back "Now let's say I was willing to hand Alex over, what guaranty would I have that you wouldn't come after me again, being the champions of justice Max proclaims you to be. And more to the point: Why do you even want him? Max made it sound like you wanted him because he was unknowingly affiliated with me, but I'm sensing a few conflicting interests here."

The man in black kept holding the sword, thought he didn't feel as tense as he was moments ago. At least there was a beginnings of a negotiation happening. "Alright, you sure raise valid points." The sword retracted back into the man's sleeve, as if it was part of his body. "Let's try this again from the start. I don't know what personal vendetta Agent Mercer has with you. But believe me when I say that his mission was to apprehend Helix. I am aware of his short fuse, but am willing to go with it, because of his connections. Your involvement was unfortunate, and yet I am willing to ignore it. You see, Mr Crow, you were a threat, but then you have been defeated. Your ultimate weapon - destroyed, your empire - gone. That's why Crusader retired. And that's when the new villain had risen. Or you haven't noticed how Helix has been helping you all along? If you haven't realized that, you really are unfit for a villain!" He crossed his arms behind his back and walked towards the mech. "He appeared just as the only person, who was successful at defeating you over and over and over and over again retired. And what did he do? He let you off with enough money to restart your schemes after all your life's work had been destroyed. Coincidence? If so, tell me, is it a coincidence that you end up living right across the hall? Was it coincidence you got hired in his company? Was it a coincidence that you were given access to the only weapon which successfully defeated you over and over and over and over again? It is not you, who is the villain in this story. You are his minion! And he has been playing you like a game of cards!"

Crow listened to the may spin his web, wondering to himself whether this commander guy genuinely thought he was that stupid "Hmm, an interesting point, however, I have a few counter-arguments. firstly, my empire isn't gone it was just an airship I didn't really lose much. Secondly, while it was A ultimate weapon, being a supervillain I have a new one of those every week so meh to that. Thirdly, even if all that stuff was true and Alex was manipulating me the whole time then it was a waste, as gained nothing from it. He already had access to the crusader suits and apart from getting one to work so we could have a mech fight, I did literally nothing except release a killer Roomba into his apartment... However, you are right about one thing, I am a villain and I have interests I need to protect, and since you won't tell me what you want Alex for I can only assume it's to further your own goal, which if Max is to be believed is some mad hunt for justice or heroism of whatever, which will no doubt put me at risk in the future, so the question we must ask is this: What are you willing to give me now that will make it worth dealing with you all again in the future?" All he needed was time, time to work out some way out of this, though at the same time, how much was Alex really worth to him now, he had most of what he needed, so what did he need Alex for?"

Crow did present some valid counter points, and, if the commander didn't know better, he would have to agree with Crow. The guy wasn't stupid, he was misinformed, but the commander couldn't really give him all of his intel. "You may think it was a waste, but I do believe that only he knows what exactly his intentions are. But the fact that he keeps quiet and hasn't spoken up against anything I said should mean something, no?" The man in the black coat walked towards Max. "As for our organization goals, it is much more complicated than what Agent Mercer may have said. But you are absolutely correct about one thing. We will come for you in the future. As for what are we willing to give you now, to make it worth dealing with us in the future... Is just that. A chance to turn around, walk away..." The sword extended from his arm again. "And live to fight another day"

The Helicopters turned to face Alex and Crow. And their guns spooled up, ready to fire. All guns were aimed their ways. The commander raised his hand with the sword as to prepare for an open fire command. "Halt!" He yelled at his forces. "I got this!" From under the hood, his eyes glowed bright yellow for a second, before the light faded away and the yellow lightning started crackling all around his body, and going towards the sword, which started to glow in the same shade. His features, although hidden in the hood melted into solid black, resembling a computer wireframe model, without the texture.

IMG_20200126_050450_342.jpg

Ok, this was all super insane, like so insane it made Max look like he didn't need to get laid, yeah, that insane. Neither the less, he needed a plan to get them out of this, for his sake in the future obviously not for Alex who totally wasn't his friend of anything, and then it struck him, old habits died hard. Crow began to make a look of contemplation as if considering the man's offer while he was actually going into one of the panels in the cockpit in an attempt to find where he installed it... There it was! The self-destruct button, for once such a device came in handy for a villain and not a hero!

The blond villain swiftly pressed the button and jumped out of the mech suit "You know what? You've convinced me, no honour among thieves and all that. Max, I look forward to the next time you try to kill me so I can knock you off a building again. Oh yeah. You guys can keep the mech, too hard to transport back, consider it a freebie." He then turned and patted Alex on the back "Well, it's been a BLAST, Alex, I hope this betrayal with TOUGHEN you up a bit, I think you'll need it for what they have planned. But for what it's worth, you have a really skilled secretary." Fortunately thanks to the design of his armour, Crow would be able to withstand the blast, he just hoped that Alex understood his message.

Alex didn't understand the message, but understood the countdown coming from the mech, remember, animal DNA and better senses and all that. He would survive the blast, but neither Litchi, nor Brandon or the boat would. Crow's plan was solid... But it didn't take the collateral into account. "You know what, fuck it!" He turned into something resembling a turtle, with the toughest skin he could muster and rolled into a ball. Thankfully Litchi got the message and made her way to the deck, preparing Brandon for the blast. Fortunately the attention was on Alex, when the mech was about to explode.

The explosion split the yacht in two, throwing the soldiers, Max, The offspring of Kraken and Cthulhu and their boss into the water. The moment Alex hit the water he turned into a whale and swallowed Crow, Litchi and Brandon, blowing the water off the blowhole, so they wouldn't drown. He took advantage of the situation and swam towards the nearest coast, where they would make their escape.

Meanwhile the Blackfoot pilots had difficult time maintaining control, as the blast shook the rotors of the helicopters, which caused some uncontrollable spinning. Fortunately the Goshawk tilt rotor was nearby and hovered over the sinking yacht, recovering the soldiers. The man in black had his coat torn from the explosion, however his mask was still on, and his com link was still working. "Regroup back to the island. We are going to to take the fight to them."

It didn't take Alex long to get to Paradise city, thanks to its ambiguous location, as he did like all suicidal whales and swam right on the beach. He spit the people out and then turned back to normal. "You owe me a boat" he told Crow, as he laid on his back, clutching his chest, breathing heavily. "I think I speak from all of us when I say we should never speak of this escape ever again." Litchi added.

Crow dragged his way out onto the beach, laughing like an insane man. One of his plans worked! Success tasted so so sweet, he felt like he could take on the world! He then turned to Alex and shrugged "Well if we're on this topic, your dad owes me a new airship but you don't see me going to him complaining, mostly because he'd beat the crap out of me. Besides, I'd be more concerned about your company, seeing as how it's been crippled."

The villain proceeded to wipe his armour in an attempt to remove the whale saliva, trying desperately to forget that he was technically covered in Alex's saliva and nodded in agreement with not Becky "Agreed." and that was his high gone. "So. What now? They're almost definitely going to come for you and likely all of us, so we need to mount a defence... god we're screwed, aren't we?"

"Hold up... As far as I remember you kinda blew yourself up, so if we gotta be technical... But if you must insist... wait, hold up... what do you mean crippled?" He turned to Litchi. "Well, technically you still have your assets and connections, but officially your company is gone, like..." She snapped her fingers.

Alex figured this was a good thing. This way it will be easier to go underground and it will be harder for this organization to track them down. "Listen, I have friends in a town called Steelport. They are kinda weird, in a cool way. They are gonna help, hey owe me big time, so they can give us all the money and manpower we need. And they will be happy to expand their influence to Paradise..."

It was a long shot, but Alex had nothing to lose. His brother was going up against him, and he could do a lot of damage. "But we have a teeny weeny little problem to solve first. If Max goes to James first, we are done. We need to talk to the crusader!"

Crow shook his head in mock disappointment "Truely, does Max's evil know no bounds?" He then listened to Alex's plan and looked at him incredulously "I mean what we have here is an incredibly handsome and smart supervillain, a kung-fu Asian secretary, a yacht captain, and an ex-CEO who also happens to be a superhero that can mimic animals, we're already far beyond the boundary of weird at this point."

The blond villain then began pacing in thought "Ok, well if we can get me to a secure phone line I can call up Becky and see what we have available, plus Euphemia may be able to get us some funding being a princess... Oh! And all the stuff from my lab like the crusader suits are all currently in my apartment."

The colour immediately left Crow's face when Alex mentioned the Crusader "As in your Dad? The armour Crusader? The man who spent his career kicking by me and my Dad's ass? The man who will likely immediately beat the crap out of me when he sees me? Why do we need him?"

"We don't!" Alex replied. "But we need him off our backs, and if Max goes to him first, he will be on us like a angry old bodybuilder on steroids..." "Thanks a lot for putting this image into my head..." Litchi spoke over him, trying to clean her head of the unclean image... "But you got a point there." She added. "One less enemy to worry about. Alright, here is what we gonna do. I'm gonna take on my father with Brandon, I mean he is a neutral trustworthy person. My secretary will help you get ahold of your secretary. Our main priority is to get a plane, or a boat to Steelport, so we can meet my "friends"!"

With that said, the group split up, with Alex and Brandon on their way to the mansion and Crow and Litchi to their apartment complex, where they would have to get to a secure line and call Becky, who would arrange transport for them and what is left of Alex's assets...

Meanwhile at the island...
"Well, that didn't go according to plan!" Max squeezed the water off his barrette, before putting it on. "That's a polite way of saying we got our asses kicked by the way if you didn't notice!" He told the boss, who frowned. He had already changed during the flight home. Some growls from Cthulhu translating to agreement with Max made the boss' eye twitch. "If what Crow said was correct, they have nowhere to go. I'll make sure of that." He quickly pulled out his cell phone, in an attempt to dial his father, but the phone was too wet to say the least, to make a call. "Yeah, I should probably get on that!" He made his leave. Some other growls translated to a generic excuse for Susan to leave as well.

The boss just facepalmed and headed for the office space upstairs. Office was a strong word for a room full of monitors and nothing else. But let's go with that. "All units, prepare for assault. We have 2 villains, unarmed and on the run, consider them extremely dangerous. We need them Alive! I am authorizing the use of any means necessary, as log as they are not lethal. Big Boss out!"

Suddenly the whole island turned into a beehive, where people with different uniforms, from formal military officers, through soldiers and engineers in their overalls, it seemed like hundreds of thousands of people, doing various jobs from checking weapons and equipment to running diagnostics on the mechanized vehicles... They were preparing for war.

Crow let out an exasperated sigh while throwing his hands in the air like the annoying child he mentally was "Fine! But if he comes to beat the crap out of me I swear to evil god that I'll switch sides.. ok, that probably won't work, but you get what I mean!" The villain then trudged off back to his apartment.

He casually walked in and slumped onto his sofa, grabbing the TV remote and pressing the ever convenient Call Becky button "What do you need Boss? Things are rather hectic here." "The organisation Max works for id probably coming to kill us so we're going on the run and I need transport for a massive amount of heavy-duty equipment quicky and minions, a lot of minions at Steelport ASAP." "What about your siblings?" Crow immediately jolted "NO! I'd rather die." Becky gave the blond an unamused look which, to be fair, was her look most of the time, but this time it was extra unamused "Given the circumstances, you may actually die." "Then I can die happy knowing there isn't any more family drama being thrown into this." Becky sighed and shook her head whilst looking through some notes "How about the train?" Crow paused in thought before turning you Litchi "How useful will a train be?" Wow! Having to secretaries was great! Everything was so much easier.

Litchi fixed her glasses. "Considering the speed at which train travels... We are better off staying here and facing the music!" She thought about it for a minute. "But since it is unlikely to be useful, we might be better with a slow and steady approach, so that plan might work. But if the enemy thinks like us, so they will plan around our plan. However this gives us an opportunity to plan around the plan they plan around our plan!" She then thought about it for a bit. "Why don't we just call Alex's friends here? Can I see that remote?"

She thought about it for a while and figured a way to use Alex's contacts with the TV. And viola! The screen turned on to several people, 5 of them to be precise. All of them dressed in a different way, sitting around a table, as if they conveniently expected to be called. The one in the middle was a young good looking male, not older than 19 by the looks of it. He was dressed in a black suit with a purple shirt and a purple tie. He was wearing black sunglasses and his hair was styled in little spikes. On the left - a beautiful, stunning even, woman, dressed in purple yoga shiny yoga pants, purple tank top and a black short leather jacket. She had brown hair in a tight pony. On the right - a black guy in a white suit, but the shirt was purple as well. He was wearing a white hat as an accessory, his shirt was unbuttoned at the top, exposing a thick gold chain. Next to that man - a textbook blonde bookworm with what appears to be the recognizable navy blue FBI jacket. She was also wearing a purple T-SHIRT under the jacket, along with bleached jeans, which belonged to the 80s. And on the other side - an abomination. A bald man, who seemed as big as the other 4 combined. He was wearing a white suit with purple shirt and black pants.

"Shut up, shut up, Alex is calling!" The young one, obviously the leader, tried to control the others. "Hey, where's Alex?" He expressed his displeasure when he saw Crow and Litchi on the screen. "Although I kinda like the small one, he has a sense of style..." The beautiful woman mumbled... "Who are you, what do you want and where is Alex!" The leader asked, crossing his arms.

Speak of the devil, Alex was already with James, not sparing the details on what was going on, conveniently leaving the part where he allied himself with Crow. "Well, Alex, sounds to me like you two are in deep shit... Well, be sure to call me when it's over to tell me how it went." And then the door slammed right in Alex's face. "That went... Well!" Brandon mumbled. "Well, at least now he knows.

James went to his desk and sat down on the chair. "I had to have twins..." He mumbled to himself, his thoughts interrupted by the phone ringing. "Who could it be now?" He picked up. It was Max, who in turn provided his end of the story. "Well, Max, it sounds like you two are in deep shit... Well, be sure to call me when it's over, to tell !e how it went!" Then he hung up. "I should buy a boat and go fishing!" He mumbled as he slammed the retro phone on his desk. Susan looked at Max, who put his phone away, letting out a growl, that the subtitles translated to "That went well (sarcastically)!"

They certainly were an interesting bunch, nice style though, anything purple was good. For a minute Crow didn't say anything, expecting Litchi to do the talking since she knew something about these people... Ok, apparently it was his job, what was this? some kind of RP between two people where both had to contribute? God, what a pain.

Sighing, Crow stood forward "Firstly, thank you for the compliment, your sense of style is also quite nice. Secondly, my name is Crow! You may have heard of me. Anyway, certain situations have resulted in the need for me and Alex to work together. You see his insane brother Max and the organisation he works for, SOCOM, kidnapped him. While we were able to rescue him, we believe that they will likely come after us, and it's no lie to say we're expecting a full-blown war. We're attempting to pull our resources together and Alex thought you guys may be interested in helping in return for expanding your influence to Paradies City. Though before we get down to that, I'd very much like to know who you are exactly. You don't exactly seem like the kind of people Alex would associate with." Blatantly ignoring the fact that he was also not the kind of person Alex would associate with.

"So you basically say Alex is in trouble, is that it?" The federal looking girl asked, but it went unanswered. The connection cut out. "Well, that went well!"

The TV turned on. "We interrupt this broadcast to bring you the latest news. Unidentified flying aircraft carrier !" As the news showed an aircraft carrier flying in to the city, and just hovering there, on top of what used to be Mercer Tower. Conveniently Alex entered Crow's apartment at the very moment. "You seeing this?" Litchi asked. "I am seeing this, still working on believing..." He replied. The aircraft carrier looked cutting edge, as if something Alex and Crow would build if they actually worked together.

Alex looked at it, it was armed to the teeth. On it - fighter jets, helicopters, armored vehicles, Tanks, everything one would need to take over a country.
"🇺🇲They aren't paying me enough for this shit!" (I don't know how else to give him a Texan accent but to put the American flag next to his speech, I am gonna bold it, cause he fat) Bob mumbled as he was walking down the street with a bag of chips, cotton candy, a 2L coke bottle, 10 chimichangas and a tripple whooper in his hands, somehow eating from everything at the same time. He just turned around and headed towards the city limits.

Crow looked up to the sky, his mouth slight agape, that was way nicer than the Sovereign, and he simultaneously loved and hated it like a family and marmite. "Ok, so that's either help for us, in which case, good, I want that ship. Alternatively, it belongs to SOCOM in which case, shit we're all going to die... though I still want that ship." He then turned to look at Alex "So how did that talk with you dad go, and when do I need to start running?"
