Iota Dailiren OmegaThe Wandering Automaton
Iota waited and waited for her creator to come back. even as the world has changed around her, she still waited for her return. Soon Iota began to show signs of sentience, she began to react on her surroundings by moving the dirt on the dirt road from which she on, and watching the little rodent-like creature play in the trees nearby as she keep on waiting for her creator to return. Eventually she stood up and walk down the dirty road, which was the only road that the automaton knew even though she herself doesn't know where it leads. She eventually deduced that she is gone forever and that she will take on her creator's mantle and become like her. A Lone wanderer.

Iota wandered a bit through the unfamilliar land of the New World, encountering many things as keeps wandering despite the recent quiet shut down of YGGDRASIL, she has no objectives and no goals other than being like that of her creator. For just a few hours she spent wandering, she is intrigued to see a sea of trees. a thick forest which have yet to be explored by the wandering automaton. Decided that curiosity is to be fulfilled, she step foot into the entrance of the forest and before long, the automaton found herself lost in the thick forest.

Selvernas was questioning how this area of the guild got vaporized and was coming up with a way to explain it away to the npc's coming to see what had happened, maybe she could announce that Greer left and took his district with him? No that would mean they could leave whenever they want and she didn't have control as a leader. Perhaps she could say that she sent him and his district off to colonize and scout another part of this world and he bravely complied? It was a sketchy excuse at best but she could make it believable with more detail later, she'd just have to roll with it. That is... Until Nemo came flying down announcing that he had killed them. Taking it slowly she started to look up at nemo, trying to process it through her head to make sure she didn't miss hear him, she could feel her body heat up before she could face him.

"what?" Killing them in cold blood was one thing, but to announce it to all around was another. Had he not announced it to everyone around she would have been willing to over look it but now he had all but forced her to confront him. "do you, still think, this is a game?" She whispered angrily faced him fully now, her hands clinched in fists, she could feel the metal grinding on metal in her palms. "We cant just kill on a whim without discussing the consequences let alone our own!" She watched the other members who had barely come to the site only to hear what nemo had said, this was bad, the entirety of Sigvold will have to know now.

She listened to them give their concerns that is until Fabian broke down into a rage, sighing at his fit she started to talk again, "Nemo, you will answer for these actions against sigvold soon, we will have to rebuild on top of what was destroyed." she looked back down at the blackened surface wondering what would be needed to be built. Attempting to throw her mind off the rage that was building within her. A shrine? living quarters? Closing her eyes she turned around to Nemo with angry eyes. "we will caste a vote within the great lords to see what your punishment will be." It was at this time did Rex message her that he is leaving which frustrated her even more. "dont run away."

Selvernas teleported herself back to the top of Ioavollr. "Damnit!" She punched the wall nearest to her leaving a hole, everything was falling apart so quickly, was she truely a terrible leader? A death, followed by infighting, and silent players. Her body soon lit aflame as her [Aspect of the Phoenix] came on accidentally, taking note of it she turned it off. it seemed some of the abilities they had from Yggdrasil weren't entirely in their control. Worryingly she wondered how this would effect everyone else.

As Pade4utoday approached the great wall that lined the mountain range various figures started to be seen in his peripherals what first numbered in the tens became hundreds and soon became thousands, they seemed to heed Pade4utoday no mind as they all seemed to run toward the walls. As he got closer roars of thunder could be heard and flashes of light seen from ontop the walls and the mountains above. The figures that were running toward the walls all surrounded Pade4utoday but now they seemed to run toward him, when one got close enough it was very apparent that this man did not seem natural, his movements were wild as if in panic. Soon his figure and all of its disgusting glory, his skin was decayed and falling off and his eye sockets were empty, he made no noise other than the tapping of his feet as he ran at Pade4utoday.

Pade4utoday's reaction was delayed as it slowly dawned on him what was running toward him the features comming into view, he panicked and casted [Holy Might] which radiated a quick burst of burning light that vaporized the low tier undead around him in a 20ft radius. After which he summoned his sword, "Faith Keeper" to his side and prepared a few defensive spells relating to the undead. As the first undead not vaporized by [Holy Might] came within striking distance of his sword he slew it down with ease, as with the second, and the third and so on and so forth. what was most curious however was that the bodies of the undead stayed where they were when they were struck down, in Yggdrasil they would disappear into data.

Slaying the undead rather easily Pade4utoday made his way towards the walls and as he got closer the undead horde started to thicken ever so more the roars coming from the mountainside grew louder and louder. They made him worried and confused, it was apparent that he wasn't in Yggdrasil anymore but what kind of world was he in? it was obvious that undead are definitely a thing here if not quite weak from what he had seen so far. Getting closer and closer he could see fireballs rage throughout the horde and it dawned on him that what were roars before were explosions and the flashes of light from the walls were fire. However as more of the hellspawn noticed him they started wandering away from the wall and towards him and soon he was fighting not hundreds but thousands, if they werent going to kill him they will bury him soon. Before he could think about doing anything explosions rang out all around him doing minimal damage but damage nonetheless on his form.

CountrySide Farms
As Acles walked through the woods and mapping out what was within his vicinity he quickly found a field of what would look like a tall wheat that seemingly caked the land in front of him and all around beyond the small woods that he had just left. Walking out on these hilly plains he could spot only about five humans walking in a line through the land just over the hill, they carried with them sickles, scythes, and bags, and seemed to smile as they walked through. Acles was confused at the situation, the forest that the guild was in was much larger forest than what was presented to him, and there certainly weren't many human populations around to warrant a farm. As the Farmers walked by they noticed Acles, paying him a wandering suspicion they waved at him as they passed by, what he wore looked unusual but no so much so that it alarmed them.

What had alarmed them though was a feminine figure walking in the same dirt road approaching them, this woman was in a maids garment of all things. Making them wonder who she was, they stopped in their tracks, they hadn't seen anyone like her and the outfit she wore looked different than the maids from the ones that served nobles. "hello?" they asked confused and slightly afraid.

Naho Village

Sall and Tenn were waiting behind the gate for what felt like an hour, watching the villagers try to drain the village out from the water that was melted, and they hear a somewhat familiar voice from beyond the gate. "Open the gates!" slowly the wooden gate opened and the goat beast-man and the Minotaur emerge from the village "welcome back." Sall didnt realize this but he hadn't had a name for this person, nor did he know how to call the strangers. "will you go to the northern towns?" Tenn interrupted Salls thoughts. Reminding him of why they were waiting and what needed to be done. "yes, the northern towns."

"There is a town to the north, you can find it by following the river that flows north to south, it is the main connection of all of our southern villages." Before he continued it didn't occur to the two that this stranger was by himself. "Where are the others?" The two looked at each other confusingly. "just, how many of you are there?" Tenn decided to ask cautiously, wondering if they were in over their heads for staying around near these people.

The villagers slowly came out from their homes and stopped or slowed down what they were doing to see what the commotion was about, there was a lack of men in the village presumably because they were out farming for the day. "Spawnlings" the major nodded with a grim face. "what village are you from? we'll have to tell the federation about this." The guard captain eyed the two mysteriously. "Now now Alaric, these two must be tired and starving! we should help them first." The captain looked at the major with annoyance and rolled his eyes "fine, but i will have them guarded"

The major gave the captain a stinkeye then went back to a bright smile, after all not many visited the village "please follow me to the inn! we'll get you two something to eat." he beckoned for the two to follow him to a three story building. inside seemed to be your run of the mill restaurant with a bartender who was previously outside to see all the commotion back behind the counter. "what will you two have?" he gave a smile, eager to strike up a conversation. The restaurant was quite empty during this time of day.

Purgatory or Hell? 2

It had happened so fast, first thing jimmy knew he was shouting out threats to those who may hear him on the wall. The next he was thrown into a bloodbath of a battle, hacking, slashing, stomping on the undead hordes that had been brought upon him. Like a raft bracing itself through a hellish storm, Jimmy fought for his dear life and occasionally came close to embracing death. But it would seem that he teased death with the close calls. Not putting much thought at first of escape, but rather overjoyed by the adrenaline of this fight. He could never believe that he would be transported to a world where he was truly living as his character. A world in which he himself felt like a godly man, to fight fantasy creatures that the real world never had. Yet this was now his real world, a world that is yet to be ventured. Suddenly a hail of fire had rained around him, exploding on impact and sending bodies flying and tearing everywhere. It was a sight to behold.

When the dust cleared and the bodies that laid around him began to move, Jimmy looked upon to the sky and raised his Faith keeper. Yelling out, "MULTI-ELEMENTAL TORNADO!! FIRE, THUNDER, AIR!" Suddenly the dark clouds abobe had appeared to swirl towards him, thunder cracking louder and louder as it drew closer to his sword. Fire then began to burst from this brutish tornado, and eventually as the tornado began to draw closer Jimmy had to grab the sword with both his hands to keep control. The undead couldn't get anywhere near him, some managed to by latching to the ground and slowly making their way towards him. The tornado had now stood at the tip of the swords point, and with that he shouted, "FALL TO THE MIGHT OF MAN!" With that he brought down a wrath that he could not believe he could summon. The tornado swiftly moved along the tip of the sword and began to swallow the creatures, burning, ripping, or simply turning them into ash. He began to twirl around, bringing an end to the creatures around him. After a full minute, the elemental tornado began to dissipate. The surrounding area was engulfed in a dust cloud, Jimmy stood where he was. Drawing deep breaths and wrapping head on what had just occured, "I........I actually did it.....I FUCKIN SURVIVED AN UNDEAD HORDE AHAHAHAHAHHA! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE!" His excitement however was cut short when suddenly the familiar sound of hundreds of feets stumbling towards him had began to rupture. With a face of shock he looked up and slowly the dust cloud had started to clear up, and in front of him was yet another large horde heading towards him. Only except they seemed to have grown even larger then the last group.

"God dammit you have to be fuckin joking!" At this point Jimmy knew that he couldn't continue fighting this endless horde of undead, he quickly turns his attention to the wall and makes a break for it. Trying to recollect all the spells and abilities he knew. There was that temporary wing spell that he knew that enabled him to fly but he hadn't used it in so long. The only recollection of the spell was that it had a custom voice activation, ".......Oh that's right, WINGS EZEKIEL!" Within moments a holy sprout of wings had appeared on his back and with a good leap into the air, his wings began to flutter up above. It was difficult at first to maintain a steady flight, but over time he got the hang of it. Eventually he flew past the top of the wall, hovering over it and then deactivating his wings and descended upon the wall.

The three chapter captains
"A destruction to behold"

Leaving the church and being put onto a job was very satisfying to the chapter captains. It had felt like a eternity since the last time they had been called up to arms. Yet it wasn't the same as last time, to Piper it was rather uncomfortable to be ordered around by a demonic creature. Even if it was an ally/servant of another creator within the guild. Yet ironically he and his brothers and sisters in arms of the Black Templar were also over the border of being considered unholy warriors. Yet not as much as the Chaos chapter, those were warriors of another magnitude of unholy. Nonetheless Pipers father Adorable had ordered him to represent the church and be put to use. He looks to his brothers and sisters, his personal warriors who marched in columns along side the other chapter warriors. He smiled, a rare thing that he did. "Brother....Are you smiling?" In which Peter said so with a bit of concern. Pipers face abruptly turned angry and turned to his brother, "IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH SHOWING A BIT OF ENJOYMENT!?!?" Peter waved his hands around in protest, "Uhhhh of-of course not dear brother, I was just a bit curious on why you smiling is all."

A small snicker could be heard behind the two, which of course was coming from Krinjo Macarius. "My oh my, Captain Piper smiling??? That is quite an amusing thought to I Krinjo Macarius. A steaming potato head like Piper smiling? Ahohohohohohoho." Celestael punches Krinjo on the back of the head, nearly having him trip forward and landing flat on his face. Yet he managed to keep stability on his balance and looked at his sister with fury glowing from his helmet, "HOW DARE YOU SMACK THE GLORIOUS HEAD OF I KRINJO MACARIUS!" Following behind them of course was both Yong and Hanja. Yong quickly wraps both his arms around Celestael and Krinjo in an effort to stop the sibling rivalry with friendship and hugs. "BRUDAHS AND SISTERS! Can't we all just enjoy the mere presence of one another without such childish outlash. We are here to bring order and protection to those who need it. So please be nice to one another." Hanja also chimes in, being a bit reluctant to speak but wanting to show that he can also aid in the situation. "Yes, we must put forth our priorities first. If you both wish to duke it out then do it on your own time of accord." The two smurf captains look at each other with no sign of agreement. However they were sudden to change when they had noticed Yong glaring at them with his devilish krimson eye's along with his smile. They both chimed in sequence, "OF COURSE! YOUR RIGHT BROTHER YONG! PLEASE JUST LET US GO!" Yong laughs in delight and releases the two. Happy to hear that the two had accepted his request for peace and cooperation with one another. Peter and Piper keep silence as to not be a target for Yong's hugs.

Eventually the column stopped and Ebony had finally issued her orders. This had excited the Komodo dragon and Black Templar chapters in this quest to purge the spawnlings. However both Krinjo and Celestael both seemed rather uninterested. When they were dismissed and both the other chapters and Ebony were out of ear shot, they both began to state their grievances. "Seriously this is what we were called out for? A simple purging of weak creatures that are weak to fire..........THIS IS STUPID!" One of the Smurf warriors in the colum shouted, "Yeah what she said! This is nothing more then cleaning duty! We should be going out and purging damons or something!" Another shouted, "You mean demons battle brother?" With another reply of, "NO YOU FUCKIN HERITIC! I MEAN DAMON." Krinjo silences the colum with a swipe of his hand and turns his attention back to his sister. "I Krinjo Macarius do find this mission a bit tedious, but surely this is nothing but a holy mission to keep the city safe. If you'd like I will for once allow thee sister to take comma-" Before he could finish Celestael punches a nearby wall, catching Krinjo by suprise. He doesn't say anything nor move, but understands that she was blowing steam off do to her want of shoing off her skills in a more glorious mission then this. She takes a big sigh and looks forward, "Lets just get this over with." Krinjo understands and orders the troops to begin splitting themselves into small groups. "Alright my pretty little smurf warriors, I Krinjo Macarius will now assign you all each a district in which you shall purge in behalf of I Krin- I mean behalf of the glorious chapter." While Krinjo continued to assign the squads, Celestael heard a familiar voice off in the distance. The voice was coming from her right, in which laid ahead an alleyway. She decides to investigate and go through the alleyway. Eventually she made it to the other side only to be morbidly horrified at the disappearance of the once Carnival of Cruelty. She was speechless, who in the world could've done this? She then spots Nendo being confronted by the glorious guild leader Selvernas. It was obvious that she was very upset, to the point that it led Celestael to believe that Creator Nendo had committed the destruction. She slowly steps back and had bumped into something behind her, in a panic she swings out her sword only to stop at the edge of her brother Krinjos neck. "WHAT IN HOLY PADE ARE YOU-" He is quickly silenced by the clasp of Celestaels hand over his communicator. "Silence brother.....There is something terrible that has occured." Krinjo cocked his head to the side in confusion but immediately understood as he gazed over her body and saw the disappearance of the district.

"Oh.........Oh dear...That is something of concern....But Celestael this is something that the guild leader is already taking care of. WEEE don't need to be concerning over this." Yet Celestael paid no attention to him, her fist were shaking in fear and Krinjo took notice. "Mmmmmmmmmm OH alright. I suppose we can go back to the church and report this to father. Maybe he can bestow us some idea of what to do."

A Wandering helpful Automaton?

A few mere moments of wandering through the woods, Iota found herself back on the roads following it as if nothing happend when she got lost. From where she's at, she could see what appears to be bits of civilization, Farmers walking by the same path as she is. She observed them as they were going to their placed so they would work hard for their harvest to be bountiful. The Automaton decided to keep walking forward, looking around the beautiful place and taking her mind off the approaching farmers until she heard a voice calling to her, in a whim, she looked at the source of the voice and in-front of her was the farmers that she saw. She waved back them before giving a bow.

"Hello." She spoke with a respectful and serene tone, projecting herself to be a friendly entity that is walking on the same roads as they are.

"Do you require services from me?" The Automaton followed up, she was indifferent to the farmers and perceives them as nothing more as civilians working hard to survive in the lands they tend.

Iota looked at them in a respectful manner as she stood there waiting for their responses.

      ??? Forest Outskirt
      ??? Forest ==> Wheat (?) Field

      Interaction: -
      Mention: Kokurai Gaisgeach Kokurai Gaisgeach

Since the dawn of time, intelligent creatures have taken what could be called as a leap of faith into the darkness in search of new knowledge. Acles exploration was backed with a similar intention. To explore uncharted area and to put light of guidance in what was nothingness. A walking beacon of light to unearth the unknown.

In contrast to his expectation, his exploration only gave fruits to more questions.

The forest was different. At the beginning, Acles was baffled by the lack of magical beings and thick mana in the atmosphere, but soon it was clear that the forest itself was not Lady Lake Forest. The trees, although similar, were of a different species from what he was familiar with. The little bugs and critters were not those of local species. When he compare the known ecosystem of the Lady Lake Forest from his database to the ecosystem of the forest where he was, his calculation showed that there was 84% chance that it was not the same forest. More surprisingly, when he took a broader view and take soil composition, topography, climate, and several environmental factors into account, the difference was large enough for him to draw a conclusion:

The Witch Garden of Lake Coven was not in any forest in his database.

One might wonder how Acles possessed such extensive knowledge regarding plants and animals. When one think from a game perspective, mundane organisms that could not affect the players have no significance and as such could only be regarded as not important. The answer to this was Alishia's Scribe Job. The Scribe Job allows for one to write books in YGGDRASIL, as well as the collection of information from his surrounding. Acles, who had been following Alishia around, gathered pieces of information Alishia collected through his Apprentice Job, as well as the books Alishia gave to him. While he could not show the full extent of his ability in game, when they moved to the new world, the advantage of his database became clear.

"Acles reporting," he operated his artifact communicator and contacted Avena "after a brief observation and research, I have concluded that the Witch Garden is no longer in Lady Lake Forest, nor is it in any location we have known before."

"...how is such thing possible?" Acles had expected Avena's voice of disbelief. His respond was instantaneous.

"I have no sufficient resources to draw a theory. Would you like for a report to be written?"

"It will be more desirable for the report to be presented directly to Lord Hamilton and Lady Alishia. I will inform them of this complication for the time being."

      "Affirmative. Acles disconnecting."

As he cut the connection, his eyes felt an increase in light intensity around him. The forest had ended. Beyond the sparse trees laid a spacious field of wheat-like plants, and a horizon covered by low hills and plains. Humans could be seen about, reaping the wheat. The view only made him more bewildered. Humans? So near to the Witch Garden? It only served to enforce his theory that the guild was not in its original location.

His confusion didn't end. As he started to formulate his path of travel, a strange woman walked by. The woman wore a maid uniform, looking extremely composed as she greeted the farmers politely. Acles was not sure if the woman was a resident of the foreign surrounding, but the farmers were clearly as bewildered as he was. He observed the woman in more details, his eyes zooming in on her figure, until it rested on her eyes. Eyes.

      Her eyes were not natural.

He only had a split second to find a reason to intervene and broke into her conversation with the farmer, but that was enough.

The highly independent NPC made his move.

Another Wandering Automaton?

The Maid Automaton was caught off guard, another wandering automaton like her just rushed to her side interrupting her and the farmers.

"Cousin...?" she asked in confusion but still maintaining her composure for the farmers to mistake it as a confirmation.

She looked at the man beside her before he reveals himself as a fellow automaton to her in a cheeky, yet subtle way, away from the prying eyes of the peasant farmers that were alarmed at them, but nevertheless she lets it slide for he isn't a hostile entity that wished harm and reckoning on these civilians or herself.

Iota couldn't bring up a single word from her mouth, she herself was wondering why this man hastily rushed to her side. Was it to solicit a response? Or was she simply being used for his hubris to impress them? nevertheless. his actions surprised the maid automaton but she fully recognized that he has no ill intent but it left her guessing why he called him cousin of all things, A Cover up? or is it because they're automatons made for service? her confusion left her with a lot of questions in mind but she kept her voice down for now as the man keep talking to the farmers about information about the land. Which she herself never thought of first considering that was what her creator would have done first upon exploring a new land.

"Cousin...?" This time her voice is in undertone, softly asking the fellow automaton beside her to inquire about the reason behind calling her his cousin despite fully knowing that they don't know each other as they just met in a span of a few minutes.

Rex nodded to Sall in acknowledgement of his greeting. Rex's interest was piqued at the mention of the northern villages, he remembered the feeling of stepping into the unknown that had driven him to walk the width and breadth of of the nine realms of Yggdrasil. He knew that expanding their knowledge of this new world may be the single most important factor in the success of the guild.

"Yes I intend to travel north to establish contact with those villages and scout those lands," Rex answered.

As Sall asked about the whereabouts of the others that had visited the village, Rex looked back towards the great tower Ioavollr, "tch." He briefly wondered how a skeleton could click his tongue, but quickly moved on.

"They are preoccupied at the moment, however I do believe Drix, the lizard man, will be returning eventually." He then turned his attention to regard Tenn who had asked a very complicated question.

He pondered how best to answer for a brief moment, "there are thousands living in the grand fortress city of Sigvold. It is a place beyond easy description, I will tell you this it is a place of great danger and of great wonder."

Rex reached into a pouch and pulled out a large craved gem that radiated a dim light, the craving on the gem showed the tower of Sigvold as well as Rex's personal mark. He offered the peerless gem to them.

"Go see for yourself, show that stone and they will know that I have guaranteed your safety, go and see the new power that has risen in this land, and then you will see with your own eyes."

He offered them the stone as a test, a test of their meddle and of his allies, how much was the word of Rex to them?

Alyssa Morrow

So command the wake of dreams
To restore the world, cut 'way the seams..
..

Alyssa had finished lecturing Opal thoroughly on using her magic to entertain herself. It had gone on for longer than an hour when reverberations shook the whole of the Lair. Frowning, she waved the small dragon away with a short command, "Defensive positions." Then she left the Lair to take stock of the situation, receiving Kafka's wide message as she exited. A potential attack? Well, that was interesting. This new world was anything but boring, it would seem. Looking about, she noted the smoke and took to a higher vantage point. It appeared that Greer's district had been obliterated. Arching a brow, she was quite curious as to how that had come about. She approached and landed on a nearby building that wasn't too high in time to hear Nemo admit to nuking the lich's district. She pinched the bridge of her nose.

Drix, Fabian, and Selvernas went about admonishing the doppleganger. They all made valid points on their own, and feeling no need to add anything, Alyssa could only look at him with a very disappointed and disapproving expression. Taking a look at the smoldering earth, she thought of moving forward. They could give this to Kafka and let her turn this into farmland, and that might solve the food problem. She'd bring this up to Selvernas soon enough. For now, she figured all guild members present will make a verdict on Nemo's actions. As for the moment, with the other NPCs gathering about the obliterated district, there was a need for some control. Selvernas, however, left in a quick teleport. That left the others present to deal with the situation. Sighing, Alyssa jumped down from the rooftop she stood upon.

Strangely, she only just now took notice of Nemo's odd garb. A tutu? Really? Something akin to a mix of amusement and disgust played in her amber eyes. Inwardly, she found it almost abhorrent. Was he incapable of realizing the gravity of his actions? Scoffing, she turned to her self-appointed task. "Go on about your business," she directed the NPCs who had been gathering firmly but gently. They soon began to disperse, and with a final look toward the others, Alyssa walked off to find her guildmaster all while thinking about what she had seen and heard. She shook her head, several thoughts running through her head. Things here were permanent, so far as any of them could know, and acting rashly, without talking with the others... that worried her. How many other aspects of their personalities would change was a result of the 'game' having become real? They'd-- no, Selvernas would need to take better control and for that, she'd need support. Alyssa had no problem doing that, and she felt she wouldn't be the only one to truly be behind their leader. With her her own machinations forming, she knew she'd be able to do everything she would need at the upcoming meeting.

Hearing the Maid Automaton's confused tone, Acles couldn't reply. The farmer's eyes were trained on him. His focus, at the time, was on the farmer.

"...who are you, really? Why are you lost in this... field?" the farmer asked. Although he tried to hide it, Acles could see him taking a step back. Not a good sign.

"Ah, how rude of me. This traveler's name is Heracles. Travelling about is fun, see. Exploring places you haven't gone to is fun," he answered with a smile. The farmer only turned more wary. Did he mess up?

"It's dangerous to travel about in this time."

"How so? Forgive me for my ignorance, but I am not from this region."

"What Region?"

"Lake Verity." Acles mentioned a name that came to mind. Lady Alishia mentioned the name before, saying something along the line of 'Mess Spirit in Lake Verity is so hard to catch' and as he had no information regarding Lake Verity, he assumed that it was somewhere unreachable by his power, not to mention a mere farmer.

The farmer fell silent. He approached another farmer that had been staring at them, and started whispering among themselves. When they finished,

"I understand. Let us escort you to town."

His air of ease sent a jolt of shock throughout Acles' body. Could it be that Lake Verity existed nearby? No, that was highly improbable. The cause of their relief should be something else altogether. Should he make a run for it? As Alishia's trusted companion, Acles held numerous scrolls in his inventory. If he felt the need to escape, using the 3rd tier spell Teleportation should suffice. Carrying the Maid Automaton wouldn't be a problem either if he use Mass Teleportation or the precious 9th Tier Spell Scroll Gate. However,

This is a perfect chance to gather more information.

"Many thanks, good farmer," he answered with a smile "ah, Cousin, you drop your earring."

Acles leaned it toward the Maid Automaton and took out a silver earring from his inventory. Using the Automaton's face to cover his mouth, Acles whispered into her ear, "this is an artifact that allows telepathy at a short distance."

He proceed to put it on as if nothing had happened. If the Maid Automaton observed him in more detail, she would notice that Acles wore a similar earring. However, his gave off a black metallic lustre instead of silver. Acles turned to the farmer again with an apologetic look.

"Pardon me for the wait. Let us go."

The farmers nodded and led the way.

As they walked on the dirt road, a breeze of wind blew softly, making a mess of Acles' hair. The scenery was pretty interesting with windmills and large houses in the distance, peppering the field with sight of civilisation. Acles continued to expand his map as he walked, mapping even large stumps an small windmills along the way. As if to admire the breath-taking sight, the group traveled in silence. Or appeared to be. With the farmers in front of him, he activated his artifact and sent a message to the Maid Automaton.

I apologise for my willful intrusion in your travel. My name is Acles. I am a traveler of the world.

Apology accepted. But I inquire about calling me your cousin?

It is to allow myself to interrupt the farmer’s line of inquiry earlier. If it is possible, may I ask where have you resided previously? From your attire and the reaction of the farmer, you are a stranger in this part of the region as well.

I see… very well… I don’t have a permanent residence, I was made by my Creator to accompany her in our travels together, I sleep where she sleeps and service her if she needs one. My name is Iota Dailiren Omega.

A Creator!

Acles’ eyes went wide as he let off a sharp breath. One of the farmer turned his head to see what he said, but Acles just smiled to say nothing happened. Even so, his mind was in turmoil. Another being created by a supreme Creator! Could it be that the Witch Garden was not alone? Have other Creators been subjected to this forceful transfer as well?

I too, was created by my Creator. Is it correct to assume that you have been subjected to a forceful transfer as well?

That I do not know. I kept waiting for my creator to come back even as I noticed the world changed all around me. I waited until I decided to inherit my creator’s mantle of being an adventurer, or to be exact, a Wanderer.

I see. I have came here to explore, yet I am not a wanderer. Lady Alishia awaits my return in the Witch Garden. I could not travel for too long. If your schedule allows so, would you like to meet with my Creator? Her wisdom may be able show the whereabout of your Creator.

Very well. I shall accompany you and perhaps service you in our travels together, though. I don’t need to know my Creator’s whereabout as I deduced she won’t return. But nevertheless I would be happy to know if its possible.

I am merely an assistant of my Creator. Do not lower yourself beneath me, as your Creator has created you to serve more than just a humble assistant, Iota.

What would he do if Lady Alishia was the one to be missing? Acles couldn’t imagine himself accepting it as easy as Iota did. He would pledge himself to Lord Hamilton if she was gone. Or another Lord if Lord Hamilton was gone. Then what would he do if all of the Lake Coven Supreme Being disappear?

He shuddered.

The thought was too horrible to think of.

Very well. Sir Acles. I shall join you and act as your lost cousin, even if it disturbs me a little.

Iota gave a nod of approval toward his Idea as the farmer led them to the nearby town. But at least Iota was in a company of a friendly face and a fellow automaton.

The rest of the journey was spent in silence, both in the air and between the mind transmission. After a an hour and a half of walking the group saw the view of a town in the distance. It was a large walled town with walls of stone, decorated with flags adorned with symbols foreign to the two Automatons. The architecture was that of a medieval europe, but there were quite a few smoke stacks coming from the town, with more buildings outside of the wall where a lot of people went to and fro.

Nemo

He wasn't surprised at the reactions of his guildmates. He tanked their rage and harsh words without saying anything. They where right, actually. But that did not make Nemo's actions wrong. At least from his point of view. He would of proposed it and it could have become a dragged out discussion about whether or not they should have dealt with Greer's NPCs. Nemo knew the lich's NPC settings, and so did the rest. It wasn't logic, or emotion. It was programming. Nemo simply dealt with the weeds before they spread. He didn't choose the right method, and was not professional about it. Yet, he had no remorse.

"I will accept the consequences of my actions." Was all that he said.

Changing back to his usual appearance, Nemo went near the darkened area where the Carnival of Cruelty once stood and took out an item from his inventory. It was a hourglass with a stange sphere inside of it, which had a hammer and a screwdriver drawn on it. I can't belive I'm gonna use this item on Greer's district of all things.

It was a consumable gacha item called <Echoes of Time>. If an area was destroyed, or damaged beyond repair, this item could be used to bring back 80% of the materials used for that structure, in their raw form. And he used it. He threw the hourglass on the dark ground and it shattered. Aferwards a blue clock formed above and engulfed the area in a blinding light. Shortyly after, the raw materials would appear on the ground, organized nicely, based on type. It was the only item of this type that Nemo had, and would likely never obtain again.

He would at least slightly diminish Fabian's anger with this. Maybe. Nemo once again looked at all the remaining guild mates in the eye, before simply walking back to the outpost.

Supreme Being Lord Marx
Witch Garden Courtyard

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.

Heavy footsteps came to an earthshaking halt behind the librarian npc Avena. Standing a couple of feet behind her and quite a few feet taller, a towering 10ft tall set of giant great armour stood imposingly, 4ft wide from the shoulders and probably weighing at a ridiculous amount. A low rumble reverberated from the winged helmet and two almost-glowing white dots appeared in the eye sockets, boring into the other Supreme Beings unwaveringly.

"Hmmm..."

The Supreme Being, Bastion of the Ethereal, Lord Marx had finally awoken from his accidental nap to be greeted with the strangest feeling since initially experiencing VRMMOs for the first time. He had planned on logging off earlier in the day and skipping Yggdrasil's final moments, but he'd accidentally used too many cash shop beers and fell asleep after all. Usually that wouldn't matter, the game would log him out anyway. But this time he was still here, and so was everyone else apparently. His scorchingly white pupils moved from the other Supreme Beings to the npcs, noting Alabaster's presence with a twinge of relief. Something was very wrong with Lake Coven but at least the guild's main defences were all intact, that being he and his creation.

"Alisha, Hamilton. What's the status? Something about the earth disturbs me, I believe it has somehow been altered," His voice was a deep rumble akin to the sound of stone grinding on stone and it echoed out from his armour stoically, "Are we under attack?" As unlikely as it would seem, the friendly merchant guild of Lake Coven had been assaulted before; the first attempt resulting in the loss of their entire guild's treasury. The second had been successfully repelled thanks to the efforts of Marx acting as the defensive commander, their new library and the rest of the guild members. The idea that the third was potentially underway was daunting enough, but to the extent that Marx could feel it in tangible effect before it had even begun? Something was definitely wrong and if this was indeed an attack, Marx definitely shouldn't have gotten drunk right before it.

Sounds began to fill the silent place. However, Alabaster remained true to in his own way. He was told to guard the people deemed worthy for protection by his creator. Even as Avena arrived he remained still and silent. However, something was beginning to bother him. Due to his powers of manipulation when it comes to the emotions, his wise creator deemed it necessary that he be an empath. People's emotions were easy to read for him unless they had some sort of mental block to ensure that no one could read their emotions. It seemed all to him that both Lord Hamilton and Lady Alishia were both experiencing fear and confusion why would such powerful people be so afraid? Is it because the people of this new region are powerful? So many questions filled his head, but the question remained why the Supreme Beings were afraid.

However, he was not allowed to stay in confusion for long. Suddenly he heard the large footsteps stomp their way down the hall behind Avena. Alabaster didn't dare to move. He stayed on his one knee. That was until he heard his creators voice. Once his creator was finished speaking he stood turned around and bowed to his creator "My Lord, thank all that is Holy that you are okay. I was beginning to worry." He stood straight up and looked at his creator. He decided he would be the one to bring his Lord up to speed "It appears that Witch's Garden has been teleported to a land unknown. The status of the people here are unknown for the most part. Acles is out right now collecting that information. If you like, I would have fortify our defenses around the courtyard. I believe that would be a good idea. To protect the lake and precious herbs at the bottom. Not to mention our farming in the back."

All of the NPC's knew. Possibly even Marx knew. Alabaster was the best front line guard anyone could ask for. Since most things were not exempt from emotions, he always knew the best way to handle an intruder. He had a plan on top of a plan to keep the courtyard from being crossed. That is simply how he was created. Like his master, he was a tank. He just fought on the front lines in a different way. Now he stood in front of his creator, waiting for his creators decision.

Odenta Ichi & Nyamiko
Clever Plan, Clever Opposition
"Yes... Those things..." Ichi almost snarled, his grip on Nyamiko's shoulder tightening slightly as she whimpered softly. He then sighed as the Guard Captain started his own line of questions but to his surprise, the Guard Major interjected and told the Captain to let them rest. He had expected to face more resistance but it seems the humans in these lands were kinder than the ones he has seen. Then again, those people would regularly try to kill Insomnia's Great Lords so perhaps he was simply jaded by those times. Still, this is a new development. "I cannot thank you enough, Kind Sir..."

"Don't let your guard down, Ichi. I have a feeling the other one is properly wary." Nyamiko's telepathic message suddenly came through as they followed the Guards to the village inn. Her message was in her usual cold and analytical tone. An odd difference to the shivering, sniveling child that clung onto him. The dissonance both awed and feared Ichi. What he sees is a shivering and weak child but what he just heard was the voice of Insomnia's Spymaster in her best element of information gathering. To be frank, he felt a cold sweat start to break out, How does she do it? How can his Creator and Mistress be so... perfect?

"P-Papa... The nice man j-just offered us food..." Nyamiko softly muttered, tugging at Ichi's cloak. Snapping out of his stupor, he caught the slightest look of annoyance flit across Nyamiko's expression before it went back to the dewy eyed, nervous expression she was faking. Ichi gently ruffled Nyamiko's 'hair' before chuckling.

"S-Sorry friend, I guess I was more exhausted than I thought. Well... Anything nice and warm will do. Its nice to see that empathy to strangers is still strong here." Ichi joked as he and Nyamiko settled into a table closest to the counter. Nyamiko nervously glanced around the whole inn, slumping into her seat while being careful not to overdo it and give away her true form. To most people, she'll look like a spooked child but she's really studying her surroundings, potential entry and exit points, things that can be used for cover, the other people inside the building that she could use as hostages if needed. That sort of thing. Slowly turning to stare at Ichi, she subtly ordered him through a slight shift in her eyes to start a small convo with the innkeeper. Ichi gave a slight nod and pretended to work a knot out of his shoulder.

"Any news around these parts, friend? I'm afraid that my daughter and I have never been this far South before."

"I'm here...' Hamilton gently cooed as he hugged Alishia, feeling her tension slowly fade away. It was during this embrace that he realized that she smelt rather good. Like a mix of fresh parchment and something flowery. A calming smell that made him internally chuckle at the idea that someone who was panicking just a moment ago could have a calm smell. Wait... How can someone sme-

"Wha-?!" Hamilton gasped as Alishia suddenly shoved him away while demanding to know how can he feel warm. He could only blankly stare at his fellow Guildmate as he numbly adjusted his coat. That was a good question indeed, how CAN he be warm? Much like how Alishia smelled good, that sort of thing is impossible with current VR technology. He should know, he saw the little project the Canadian branch was up to after all, and that is barely in the damned alpha stage. He was about to ask Alishia something when someone barged in. He turned to see Alabaster come in, kneel, and apologize? Wait, wait, wait. The NPC... talked? Hamilton slowly reached up and adjusted his mask, a nervous tic he developed through his time in the game. Questions raced through his head, joining the initial torrent that was there.

"T-That's nice Alabaster but c-" Hamilton started when he barely heard a soft sigh nearby. He looked towards the source to see his own NPC, Avena, walk in and politely greet them. Not only that, but also bringing in a report that finally confirmed Hamilton's own initial suspicions. A different area? So we're not by the Lake anymore? Hamilton started to muse when he heard loud, booming footsteps coming towards their little group before stopping. He looked up to stare at the newcomer in the... well, maybe the eye lights?

"So you're here too, Marx? I thought you logged out after the little party we had earlier but this is good. This is good indeed...." Hamilton took a moment to take a deep breath to compose himself. Its not good for a leader to falter at situations like this. Time to act.

"Alright then. Avena, I'll need you to fetch the detailed map of the area surrounding the Witch's Garden from the archives and bring it to my study. Alabastor, bolster the defences around the Garden. Walls, trenches, anything will do. Keep it simple enough so we can set up proper ones once we have a good idea of what our surroundings are like. Alishia, Marx, come with me. We'll need to discuss this more in my study. The Mirror of Remote Viewing should prove useful in times like this. We mustn't stand around and act like lost cockatrice in times like this." Hamilton ordered before motioning for Alishia and Marx to follow. His steps were rushed, giving away how worried he felt at the moment. He didn't stop or glance over at his fellow Guildmates until he reached his study.

"Inside." He motioned for the two to enter, waiting for them to do so before he himself slipped in, shutting the door behind him and locking it for good measure. Sighing, he took off his mask and tossed it onto his desk before sinking into his chair.

"I don't think this is a game anymore...."

"As you command, Lord Hamilton."

Another bow was made by the Librarian NPC before she left for the Secret Library. While Alabaster started to work on increasing the Witch Garden's defence, Alishia went on Milton's trail and followed him to his study. While her anxiety had not disappeared, an unexpected feeling also popped up in her heart; curiosity.

When the three remaining players of Lake Coven had gathered in the study, it was as if they had released themselves from pressure. Right. The loyalty of the NPCs had forced Alishia to keep up the pretense of calm, even when all she wanted was to crouch in a corner and hide. They were alone. While her feelings were in turmoil, Alishia started slowly to deliver her theory,

"It's that, right? Isekai... I read a lot of light novels, but to really move to another world is-"

frightening. There was no words more fitting.

In light novels that Alisha had read, isekai, or another world, was quite a popular genre where the protagonist got involved in an adventure on another world.
In those stories, the high schooler protagonists adapted just fine into the new world. However, novels could easily dismissed the mental pressure of knowing that one was away from everything familiar. Furthermore,

"...we don't keep our original body, too. If we follow the usual plot of an isekai story, our souls are either moved into this new vessel, or we were reincarnated into... this," she continued, pointing at her body, Milton, and Marx.

Right. From the tens of isekai novels she had read, most protagonists moved into another world either as an reincarnated person, or transferred into a new world in a new body containing a special skill. The Lake Coven, moving into a foreign location, could be counted as a similar case to these stories. However, the reason Alishia did not like this conclusion is because,

"It's rare for reincarnated vessel to be able to return to their original world in novels," she added dejectedly "what should we do now...?"

Drix and his wonderful NPCs

"Using an item to get back some of the resources aren't going to be the end of your punishment. You got that." Drix said still very angrier. " We can't do things anymore. We are not in a game and the NPCs are now alive. So when it comes time for your trial I will be making sure you tried for full-blown murder." Drix said before turning around and beginning walking away. "I heading back to my district and getting ready to check out the some more of the area and it's villages. If you guys or the big boss need to contact me with a message spell" Drix said before headed back to his district.

On his way, Drix used a message spell to contact Ebony. "Ebony, we have to the problem under control," Drix said beginning to calm down.

"I see. What caused the..." Ebony began asking before Drix interrupted her.

"Not now Ebony. We are still... Figuring things out..." Drix said sighing deeply. "Just please get things ready for me to head out as soon as I get back" Drix ordered.

"As you wish," Ebony said as the message spell ended. Once it did Ebony used a mass message spell to contact the chapters. "This is Ebony. Mr.Drake has stated the problem has been taken care of. You are free to do as you wish for the time, except for the Komodo Dragon chapter. My master will be needing your help his exploration of the area. Please head to Brawlers Street." Ebony stated before ending the spell. Ebony now went on to focus on getting everything ready, making sure the twin was ready to accompany Drix, the knight armor golems were tip-top shape, and all the trading product were ready to go.

Meanwhile, Pearl walked around Brawler Street yawning looking for a proper place to take a nap. She decides to do so on a crate outside a wagon. As she fell asleep two golems came by, picked up the crate and place into a wagon, with Pearl still laying on top.

IInteractions- Avena
Alabaster was thoroughly confused. What was going on? Why were the Supreme Beings, the creators of him and his companions, afraid? Being an empath made it quite easy for him to tell emotions. All he got when he looked at the creators was fear and confusion. This made no sense. How could people of such great power be so afraid? It was something he would have to investigate.

Once everyone had left the courtyard he knew he needed to make sure few things were properly guarded. He walked to the edge of the courtyard. Once at the edge he took a deep breath. His magic was mainly emotional manipulation, but he knew his way around a few other spells. He held out his hand and spoke "Wall of Stone." He slammed his hand on the ground and watched as a wall of stone grew around the entirety of the Witches Garden. Once he was sure that was in place he stepped outside of the wall. He looked around and thought for a moment. He then took a deep breath and gripped his spear like he was about to throw it. Then he did. However, he threw it extremely low to the ground. The spears wings spread and wind blew from it. The sprear flew around the wall at such a speed the ground tore up around it. It circled the wall and finally came back around. He grabbed the spear again. The spear had created a trench of jagged rocks around the wall. Leaving only one path in. Alabaster was confident enough in himself to leave the one exit alone. However he did leave a small bird on bird bath next to the entrace. This bird was the alarm for when he was elsewhere.

As it stood, the most important part of The Witch's Garden was the lake. As an added bonus of the quest that released this land for buying, at the bottom of the lake was a field of aquatic herbs. These herbs were the absolute best for creating healing potions. So, he knew that his main focus of protection should be here. However, he did not have the magical capability of creating a barrier around it. He would have to talk to Avena.

Alabaster made his way into the Guild Hall. After a few minutes of traveling he made it to the library. He searched for Avena. Upon finding her he looked at her "Avena, I need a few scrolls with a spell that will keep out those who seek to harm whats within the barrier. Six should do."

He was hesitant to bring up in the next subject. However, he was sure she would understand his concern. As the emotional magic user, it seemed only natural that he be the guardian over the emotional state of the guild. So, he looked at his friend "Also, do you think the Supreme Beings are going to be okay? You know I can sense emotion. The Supreme Beings are powerful, I know, but today in the courtyard they were........scared and confused. Do you understand why people as powerful as them would be confused and scared? Should this not be easy or exciting for them?" He had hoped his friend Avena could help him figure this out. Alabaster was created to worry about things like this. He was not just the guardian of the courtyard. He was the guardian of emotions as well, even if that title was never intended to be his. It was just how things were.

No one in the guild was more familiar than Avena with the library. As such, it only took her several minutes to look for the resources Lord Hamilton asked her of. Information, as a strategist would know, is a weapon as lethal as poison in the right hand. The Secret Library, chokeful of information Lake Coven had gathered for several years was akin to a treasure cove. The map Avena found was one in the form of a book. The Travel Map. It was a copy of Travel Map, a book possessed by Acles. Lady Alishia had made several copy of important books just in case, and it was one of such copy.

With the book in hand, Avena made her way toward the study. It was on the entrance, she passed upon Alabaster, the Court Guardian. The Guardian asked for the use of several scrolls to increase the security of the guild. Several scrolls flew passed her mind before she made a decision.

"Very well. Lady Alishia had stocked several dozens of scrolls a few weeks ago. Greater Detect Magic Barrier, Greater Detect Evil, Barrier, Conceal Traces, Conceal Fortress, and Ally Barrier should be enough. Although, some of the lower servant may got caught in the Ally Barrier defense system."

Alishia, knowing that the game will shut down soon, had went on a scroll-buying spree. Players that planned to quit, special offers, and crafting numerous scrolls that had became easier to retrieve with the low value of scrolls. As such, the number of scrolls in the library was more than enough. Alabaster, who was tasked to protect the Witch Garden, would be able to use even more than six if he had asked for it.

Despite his important job, when Avena heard of his concern, her eyes turned into a thin line.

"Remember, Alabaster, the Supreme Beings have power and wisdom beyond our imagination. There are things we could not fathom that they should understand," she said slowly with a low voice. She stopped herself before she became outright hostile to her comrade. Calming down her emotion, Avena continued to clarify matters.

"Tell me, Alabaster. Have you ever heard of a spell that could transfer an entire building -- a building protected with wards -- into a land so far away the residents don't recognise their surrounding anymore?"

Alabaster was not incredibly shocked when his companion showed a bit of hostility. He knew that his position and his abilities put him in a bit of a spot when it came to the other Guardians. He had to constantly evaluate the mental state of everyone in Witches Garden. As such he often had to judge one's capability of carrying out their duties in the position they were in. If one did not know him, they would assume that he was thinking of betraying someone. Luckily, most people here knew that and calmed themselves before starting a fight. Alabaster was pretty confident in his ability to fight, but he did have his doubts whether or not he could stand up to his friend Avena.

After being asked the question he thought for a moment. He walked over to the history section of the library and pulled out a book. He set it on the table between them and opened it. He began to read "Magic is a very tricky business. The ability to use magic to transport a place to an entirely different world is yet undiscovered. The only case of this type of magic bean diploid is when a great wizard tried to move an entire city out of the way of a volcano. While this was not used to move the city to another world, the city was moved to another continent. Magic of even that level is considered high grade Magic." Alabaster close the book and looked up at Avena "It would take an incredible amount of magic to move the entirety of the witch's Garden to a new world. The problem being is not even the Supreme Beings have that sort of power. I will not deny that they have the power to change the world, but do they have the power to change worlds? Maybe that is why they are so fearful? They know that not even they have the power to move our base to a new world, so who has the power to do so?" Alabaster knew that what he was saying almost sounded like betrayal or doubt in the Supreme Beings. However, if someone knew him well enough, they would know this was just him doing his best to make sure the people he was created to protect were guarded against any possible threat.

Through her comrade series of questions, Avena remained silent. As the Head Librarian of the Secret Library, her knowledge surpassed that of other guardians by a wide margin. However, she did not have an answer to Alabaster's question. The Supreme Beings that could beat gods and create miracle; who -- or what-- could possibly surpass their might?

"This is only a speculation without any basis to support it,"
she said deliberately at a low voice "but I do not think any beings, Gods and transcendent beings alike, could perform a miracle of this level."

The rest went unsaid. Ignorance is a blessing, and for Avena, who had swam into the depth of magic, the saying was more than words on a golden plaque. If Alabaster was to reach the same conclusion as she did, the responsibility of sharing the knowledge would not be on her. Even she only reached this conclusion after seeing Lady Alishia's reaction. The reason she hadn't mentioned the speculation to the rest of the group would be... indeed.

If the secret was spread, a hysteria could occur, even among the dwellers of Witch Garden.

"Let us stop treading on this sensitive topic. The library golem will guide you to the location of the scrolls."

With a wave of her hand, a humanoid metallic construct, as tall as a grown up man, stepped out of the wall. Its eyes gave off a blue light as it activated and received her command.

"The Supreme Creators should be waiting for the information I have been asked to gather. If you will excuse me,"
she made a small bow of acknowledgement to Alabaster before she exited the Secret Library and headed for the Study.

Upon seeing the use of the cash item, Fabian's fury abated slightly, allowing him to form sentences despite the feral look in his eyes. Turning away to head back to the forge, the Frost heard a high pitched and very annoying voice that he recognized. That he hated with every fiber of his being. "KkRrriinnnjooo~" He growled, his head snapping in the direction of the abhorrent marine, a feral smile spread across his visage. Ice rapidly spread and formed an extra layer on his armoured form, as Fabian took off towards Marcarius as a dead run, his purpose now clear. The only evidence he was even there being a small icy formation in the place he once stood.
Granuaile sighed as she saw her master take off like a bat out of hell, knowing there was going to be a body. Shaking her head, the sprite made her way back to the forge to try and avoid the fallout.

"Oh.........Oh dear...That is something of concern....But Celestael this is something that the guild leader is already taking care of. WEEE don't need to be concerning over this." The annoying marine said, his voice echoing off the ally walls as Fabian closed in. "Mmmmmmmmmm OH alright. I suppose we can go back to the church and report this to father. Maybe he can bestow us some idea of what to do."

Suddenly Fabian let loose a feral roar that filled the ally, as Fabian somehow flew towards the Smurf Marine from the roof tops "I. CAST. FIST!!!" he cried, as his icy gauntlet covered fist impacted Krinjo's faceplate, the engraved runes of the armoured fist glowing with intensity sending the boisterous and annoy marine flying back 15ft, his faceplate impacted and dented over. His pained scream sending a shiver of pleasure down the Frost's spine before nodding to the marine captain.

Sall and Tenn were curious and looked at each other before Sall quickly refused the idea he supposed to was better for him to not know anymore about these strangers. They were powerful from what they had seen and they were dangerous, the villagers are still shocked from the show of power they had seen yesterday. And this man that was with them right now said that were there supposed thousands?! Sall wondered if they were in the safest place in the world, or the most dangerous. Sall raised his palm, "No need, friend. We will see your kind in time." Needless to say they were quite uneasy with their new neighbors, they seemed to have the power of the former high queen at their finger tips and now this one is saying that there are thousands of them? Sall was starting to reconsider staying around.

"Well either way, the river should lead you to the city of Amaz. It is a walled city, much larger than Naho." Tenn gestured to the village as Sall watched. "i used to be a guard there until Naho requested assistance." He looked at Sall not really conveying much emotion as he didnt really have a thought to the matter, although there was slightly more implied. "And that assistance is very much appreciated Tenn, you and your guards have helped this village very much, we wouldnt have survived without you all." Tenn nodded before looking back at the stranger. "you said your pack will come after you soon, good luck on your journey."

The Wall

As Pade4utoday made it onto the heavily fortified wall the soldiers that he could see there were wearing full plate armor and had halberds cutting down undead that make it up on the wall after climbing over their fallen comrades. Four soldiers pointed their halberds at Pade, their armor was decorated in various engravings but the most obvious one that he could see was a Bird with 3 tails on their chest armor and shields. Their Shields were long tower shields, and their halberds resembled that of a a traditional one however the axe head was much larger doubling as the spike as there was no spear like spike sticking out, the back of the halberd had a smaller slightly hooked spike, and pade can distinctly see that the tip of the staff was metal and hollow. "Who are you?!" they shouted at the golden plated man, they were confused and slightly afraid as something that didn't appear undead came from the wastes. As four asked the golden man the other countless soldiers on the walls continued to hack away at the foul undead and pade could see that the halberds they used occasionally fired a puff of fire.

Before Pade could answer a Wyvern came down from the skies and landed right next to him, The soldiers didn't flinch as they knew who, or what it was. "you!" Looking up Pade could see theres someone on the neck of the wyvern. "follow me!" The man looked at the soldiers who kept the golden man busy. "You soldiers can go back to your duties, i'll take care of him." With a pull on the Wyverns lead the wyvern jumped back into the air, still focused on the shiny golden man. "You can fly, cant you?"

The inn looked like your average restaurant, it was kept alit by the outside and there were quite a few candle lights that were not on to be kept for night time, the seats and tables were made of wood and there was clearly a kitchen in the back. "Something nice and warm eh? names Tribigild by the way." The bartender walked around the counter and towards the kitchen. "Amalia! make some porridge for our guests!" He then walked back to the pair. "Its nothing fancy but its warm, and will fill you up! Fast to make too, and wont get stuck in your gullet if you eat too much!" he chuckled to himself. The bartender had quite the belly but it wasn't disgustingly large, and his breath had a lingering scent of citrus with a small hint of alcohol.

"...You havent been this far south?" his unusually friendly demeanor switched to confusing and curiousness. "Where in the north are you from?" He sat down on something behind the counter and listened intently as the porridge was being made.

Unnamed City

The farmers lead the strangers into the town via the main road, people were out and about mostly going to and fro from the place rarely would a person be standing still, individual horses and cattle were being herded into the city either to be sold off or pulling something along with them. Quickly the group made it to the gates and one of the farmers went back to the two. "Listen, the guards here are looking for anyone suspicious and, no offense but you two are very suspicious." Indeed he was right, looking around there would be many people giving you passing glances. "Follow me to a less crowded area. He lead the two near the gate off to the side of the walls as the 3 other farmers went to go talk to the guards.

In about 5 minutes the farmers were approaching the group of three with the guards, one waving and the farmer that was with them waved back. once they were there however, the guards quickly swung their spears, pointing them at the suspicious two as the farmers ran around to surround them, pointing their tools at the two using them as weapons. "Don't move! we'll escort you to the barracks and question you there! if you resist we will kill you!" One of the Guards said. The guards wore a metal chestplate and had a heat shield to go with their spears. the rest of their armor were made of brightly colored gambeson and their helmets were also made of metal.

It was bad. Both him and Iota were certainly not the suspicious people the guards were looking for. How could they be, when he had just arrived in this world while Iota -- if she was the one they were after -- wouldn't return to town with him if that was the case. What should he do…?

Acles hesitated; it was a completely unknown world, and taking attention to himself wouldn't be any good if he was still grasping in the dark. He sent Iota a message, before raising his hands into the air slowly, as not to alert the guards.

I… I think I will comply with their demand for now.

Acles glanced at Iota, waiting for her her reaction. Iota was completely unamused at the actions of the Farmers and the Guards, their weapon drawn and pointed out toward them gave enough reason for Iota to consider them as dangerous entities.

“I suggest you lower your weapons…”

Her serene look changed into a feeling of displeasure, her straight face harboured an annoyed expression at the Farmers and at the Guards, She appeared to be hiding something in her Maid-like skirt, something that could easily take them down if she uses it, but due to her neutral nature, she was only able to use it if one displays hostile intent towards her.

“I'm warning you… “

Iota’s hostile expression only spurred Acles into further concern. What would be the right course of action? To resist? To comply? To talk their way out? Acles showed a worried face as he whispered in an audible tone toward Iota, tugging at her sleeve while shooting off worried smile at the guards.

“Cousin, surely…”

Run. I will transcribe the location of my Creator through the transmitter. Please tell her of my situation.

Will Iota agree to this? Although to others, Acles worried expression came from the fact he was captured, his worries stemmed from fear that Iota would murder everyone there if he didn't do anything.

Acles, is it? I’m afraid I must disobey your order to run.

Iota was visibly displeased, her serene looks changed into a seething anger, something that she hadn’t displayed in a long time.

I’m standing my ground. We have been deceived.

She couldn’t help but stare at the farmers and Guards without batting an eye. Her eye gave off a faint of glow that only Acles could see.

“Lower your weapons and we will comply. If you don’t then I have no choice.”

Those words would only increase their hostility!

And it did. The guards scowled at her words and only gripped their weapons tighter.

“Move it.”

Acles’ mind was going wild. If he didn't do something, the scene would turn into a massacre. Even worse, if they left witnesses alive, it would only spread the news about them. That means if it came to a battle, he would need to eliminate every single witness. Not a good train of thought!

“Cousin, we better follow what the nice guards say, please?” Acles smiled weakly, begging while also knowing his action was futile.

Iota, I beg you. Revealing our powers to lowly guards will only disadvantage us in the low run, especially if it caught the attention of a hostile Creator. Run, incapacitate the guards, do what you want, but don't draw unnecessary attention!

Iota looked at Acles, she could see in his mechanical eyes that he did not want violence to erupt right now. His constant begging changed her expression from a seething rage to a frown of sadness within her, she has never experienced this before but somehow her building rage against the farmers and the guards dies down the moment she saw Acles begging for her not to do it.

She sighs at defeat before lowering herself to Acles.

Alright… I… I'm sorry about having my temper flare up… I was designed to be protective against any hostile movements made against me or my partner… and you were looking rather cute and for once I’ll comply with your order of non-hostility.

“Fine… but if they dare poke you or me with their weapon. Then I will have no choice but to cut them all down.”

“Thank you!”

Despite knowing he would probably be interrogated later, Acles grinned. Questions were nothing compared to performing a massacre, or blocking the flow of information. He turned to the guards, giving them a bow.

“I apologise for my cousin's words. She… had a bad experience with being questioned.” He gripped Iota's hand tightly as if to calm her down.

I will alert my Creator of our situation. Have no fear.

Alright… but don’t blame me if something were to happen to our interrogators.

Her words worried Acles, but Iota showed no further reaction. Her normal and serene posture returned as if she was standing down, but in reality, her weapons under her skirt were ready and primed should it come to it. Nevertheless, she decided that Acles’ idea was the best for now.

She followed the guards while her hand was being held by Acles, strengthening the proof of the two Automatons being cousins, but she herself only allowed it for now.

You were quick to hold my hand. But I’ll let it be. Next time... just no.

...alright.

While the Automatons were lead away by the guards, Acles activated his communicator, sending another message to the Witch Garden. He did not address Avena this time, however. He directed his data to the one he trusted most; Lady Alishia.

Purgatory or Hell? 3

As Jimmy took in the scene, he was alarmed by the sudden aggression of the four soldiers that were pointing their rather large halberds at him. Frankly he was offended but then again he was a eight foot Human wearing the best holy armor money could buy in which he took countless hours of dedication to create and gather the materials to build it. Suddenly one of the soldiers yelled out a demand for his identity and soon quick conservation in his mind ensued, "(Aaaaaaah crap they wanna know who I am. Ummmm calm down Jimmy your one of the most badass looking mother fuckers there are......Wait I am the most badass mother fucker that is currently alive, in fact these guys have no idea who they are witnessing. I literally obliterated like maybe a thousand of those undead creeps. I need to make an impression and come up with a cool name.............OOOOOO I GOT IT)". Jimmy quickly raises his golden claw fist up into the air, summoning upon his claws palm a growing ball of light. exponentially growing over time, "My name is of no concern, however my title is. I.....Am the guardian of mankind, and I have traveled through the wasteland to bring order." With that he clenches his claws together, which the now large ball of light had suddenly condensed itself into his clenching claw. He then points it towards the four soldiers which they of course felt threaten. "HOLY RAY!" Jimmy releases his clenched claws and released a bursting beam of holy energy out. Moving it left and right, harming only the undead creatures while also surprisingly not blinding the men. But rather offering a feeling of warmth from his attack. Eventually the holy ray attack had died out, and the wall was now secured for now, allowing these men some breathing space.

As he finished feeling a bit hubris over his attack. He had finally turned his attention to the mysterious figure who was currently riding a Wyvern. He makes a smile and claims, "Of course I can fly, if I may be led to somewhere more comforting. Then lead the way."

Rex closed his hand around the around the gem and slipped it into his pocket, "very well," was his only reply to the old goat. He turned and mounted his horse one a single flowing motion. Offering the two the slightest of nods he urged the horse forward, it moved at a slow trot until he was 5 meters away from the two then, as his command, the horse bolted at an incredible speed. Within seconds the horse and rider were out so sight, disappearing into the dense forest.

Rex brief considered reporting in, but decided that Selvernas already had her hands full. He would report once he had something to report, he thought as his horse galloped through the forest with no signs of slowing. He had chosen this mount for its speed and endurance and soon he was reaching speeds in excess of 200 kph. Given that he needed no rest nor food or water, and the prodigious stamina of his mount he could keep moving throughout the night to reach the walled city of Amaz.

Supreme Being Lord Marx
Witch Garden Courtyard

. . .

Marx stood there for a moment, staring at his npc with complete and utter confusion, and it would have shown on his real face were it not currently a metal-cast helmet. Alabaster was... Marx wasn't quite sure how it put it into words: different? Humanlike? He spoke by himself and was showing actual initiative. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it downright disturbed the giant set of armour with a sense of uneasiness. This was no attack of any conventional sorts, this was an alteration of reality within the game as they knew it. A world item? An update? Perhaps the announcement that YGGDRASIL was shutting down had been fake, just to hype people over when the update finally rolled through.

And then he realised to what the 'npc' had actually said. 'Teleported to a land unknown' sounded way beyond the capability of any world items he knew about, so perhaps the idea of a game update wasn't too far-fetched. Then another realisation hit him, prompting Marx to raise a gauntlet to swipe for his menu. No log off, no GM support function, nothing. Were they stuck here now?

Too stunned to really react yet, Marx simply followed the other Supreme Beings up the stairs to Hamilton's study. Once they were there he let out a rattling metallic sigh that seemed to reverberate around his helmet. All the talk about moving souls and vessels went over his head and he raised a hand to stem the flow of words. He needed a moment to think: if they were in some new lands then they definitely were not safe from harm. For all their time spent on diplomacy and ensuring other factions didn't attack them; it meant nothing if they were truly knew to the territory. And that meant a state of emergency, in order to secure themselves they needed to secure their neighbours. Marx had never been fond of the pacifist attitude Lake Coven had towards the combat side of the game, not that he wanted to go out and start fights, but it was more of a 'get them before they get us' ideology that he supported. Of course, he had been proven right twice when their guild was raided, but still they had refrained from expanding any military influence. Perhaps now would be the opportune time.

"We should focus our discussion on how we should move forward. The defences Alabaster is setting up will make use as a temporary measure, I may be able to assist there, but we should consider any potential threats in the surrounding lands."

If many other guilds had also been teleported to this land, then any agreements they had may be turned null out of convenience. Or, if the game was truly a new update, it was possible that powerful npc factions could rise up to take advantage of their weakness. Information and countermeasures were necessary at this stage. Marx shifted uneasily, his body creaking as he did so. This was too unexpected, too sudden. Had the devs really done this, was this truly all part of some scheme? Trapping players in a hyper-realistic VRMMO? Uncertain plans and assumptions raced through his mind, flitting between possibilities and second guessing like a flock of birds panicking from danger. Marx took a simulated breath, which was more of a body movement as no actual breath came out, and calmed himself.

"I can create some sentinels and stronger fortifications, but we cannot rely on just Acles to gather our information. A further exploration group must be sent to ascertain the severity of our situation."
