Ignis

After some more interactions with his NPCs and a strange ability that forcefully calmed him down, Ignis realised he was not crazy. He just got transported to another world and his Yiggdrasil avatar became his body. Yes, that makes sense.

"LIKE HELL IT DOES!"

And then he was calmed down by a mysterious force, again.

"I wonder why Lord Ignis is acting like that."
"I'm afraid our inferior intellects are incapable of comprehending a being such as Lord Ignis entirely."
"Isn't he just a wierdo whose only redeeming features are great fighting prowes and combat strategy?"
That's true but you didn't need to say it like that.
That is undoubtedly true, but you could have said it differently.

...
I can hear you, you know?

[Message]: Lord Ignis, it appears we have been transported to a different land.
[Ignis's reply]: Eh?

    Drevis
    Harvest Guild
    Throne Room; grandiose

    Interaction: Damafaud Damafaud
    Mention: Azure Sky Azure Sky
Standing by on Harvest Guild Hall was the figure of a devil. The devil, however, was in a predicament.

Originally, Drevis planned to see the throne room during the moment of the server shutdown. Not that it was possible since he had resigned from the guild. He stayed inside the guild hall instead, on the outer layer of the guild, unmanned by NPCs. The game... was fun. He wouldn't admit playing it to his client or to firm, but he enjoyed every moment playing it. Being a lawyer, his reputation and mannerism were deliberately immaculate. Perfect manners, sophisticated choice of words without sounding snobbish, elaborate actions. In the public eyes, he could be nothing but perfect.

    Stifling.

His wife was rarely home, spending the days more with her entourages than with him. His only son had been his solace but he too, left for his boarding school abroad. Was it a mistake to school him so far from his reach? At the end, it was his own fault for throwing himself into his work. Then he found YGGDRASIL. It was fun. He had done silly things as Drevis. Over the top villainous act like evil cackles, playing the role of evil mastermind during PvP against another players. Hi manners was still perfect. His choice of words was still sophisticated, but it was of his own choice. And he had fun. Satirizing his 'perfect' lawyer self was fun.

A pity it had to end... or so he thought until the server countdown passed midnight.

For some reason, he couldn't quit the game. The GM Call command didn't work. He couldn't Log Out. Then when he saw his friend list, something made his eyes lit up. Ignis, the Guild Leader of Harvest, was online. He was going to send him a message... but he didn't. What would he say? I apologise for leaving the guild but I was actually disappointed by the game ending so I concluded it was necessary for me to be on my lonesome? Never.

For said reason, Drevis found himself in front of the Throne Room.

From what he knew of Ignis, if he was to stay in the game until the very last moment, he would be in the throne room. Now how he should act? At that moment, how Ignis would react to his presence was more important than the fact he could not exit the game. Drevis had not notice it yet, but he was calm, too calm, at the fact that he was trapped in the game.

"Ah, I should just act as usual," he muttered to himself after thinking it through. And by usual, he meant grand.

Drevis calmed himself. He let his face relax and for his hands to stabilize. He walked up to the gate of the throne room and pushed them open with one hand. He was, at the occasion, dressed grandiosely in blood red jacket with dragon claw cape. A lazy, slightly condescending smirk decorated his face, as he stared into the throne... that was empty. Ignis was not there. Awkward. Now, what should he-

    "Daddy!"

His train of thought was disrupted when a white and red figure suddenly dashed forward and tackled him to the ground.

So much for a grand entrance.

Ignis

Before Dravis's arrival...

Let's calmly analyze my situation. I became my gaming avatar, and I, along with the whole guild, was transported to another land. I am not even sure I am in Yiggdrasil anymore. I have no idea how to get home, and may as well be stuck like this forever. Right...

...

Best situation...EVER! Maybe.

Ignis thought it over. Why was he so distressed in the first place? He did not enjoy life that much back in his home world. With the exception of Yiggdrasil. And he became his avatar. And after many tests he confirmed that he was not dreaming. But there was a problem. How dangerous was the world he was transported in? If he died in this world, would he ressurect or would it be game over? As a top PKer, he was more prudent than most. Was there a way to check his surroundings safely?

Ah, yes. Of course! Mirror of Remote Viewing.
_______________________________________________________

By using the mirror, Ignis could look over quite a vast area. At a certain point something caught his eye. A fortified medieval city attacked by a bunch of abominations. The guards where having trouble. If the abominations entered the city, many would probably die. And yet, he was unfazed. Was it because of his racials? Where they affecting his psyche?

Irrelevant. I'll save them anyway.

Indeed, he did not want to save them because he cared. He wanted to save them because he liked squashing those that prayed on the weak. Even as a PKer, Ignis always liked to challenge those that (to him) were equal, those that were stronger, or those that had potential. These creatures had the confidence to attack the weak. Pathetic. He just had to get rid of the pathetic sight in front of his e-...

Eh? Seriously?

Suddenly mighty warriors came forth, laying some of the spawnlings to waste. But that's not what surprised Ignis. He looked at some of his NPCs. He asked for the Floor Guardians, and other important NPCs to gather in the throne room beforehand.

"Paracelsus, Ergo, Juxe Box, Scarlett. We are going to this location. It's time to meet some old allies. Paracelsus, if you may."
"Understood, Lord Ignis."

Paracelsus (lvl 100) was an immortal human wizard. And Ignis basically asked him to open a portal near Amaz.

[Gate]

Thus a gate opened near the fortified city. Out of it came Ignis, Paracelsus, Ergo (lvl 100 slime, Ignis's creation), Juke Box (lvl 90 automaton musician NPC, gifted by the admins; can play any song), and Scarlett (lvl 100 Aasimar Bard).

[Helios]

Ignis summoned his powerful steed and mounted it.

"Juke Box, do the thing! Same patern as usual."
"As you wish."

The people of the New World would have definitely found the song and sounds very unusual and surreal, but Ignis did not care.

"Charge!"

[Slash Frenzy]

Ignis took out his scythe and used a 10th tier skill. He rotated his scythe left and right, generating multiple energy slashes towards the spawnlings.

"FABULOUS! Glad to see you're here! I have several questions." He said, referring to Fabian.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Message]: Uncle Ignis! Daddy is looking for you!

Daddy? Who is daddy?...wait. Dravis?

[Message to Dravis]: I'll listen to your explanations latter. Right now... Ignis began giving Dravis indications of how to use the mirror to find him, while he was strangling a spawnling and his horse was chewing on one. He was happy Dravis was there, but he needed to be concentrated on the situation in front of him.

The Hidden Shadow of Trost
"Hold! I said hold you daft fools!" the Gate Sergeant cried out as his men grasped their weapons and started to form up behind him. In addition, some shouts from the top of the wall means that their archers were ready to fire if needed. The vampire before him had made its points clear. It only wanted some answers. Could he trust it? This armoured vampire with hellish red eyes standing, no, looming before him. The Sergeant wondered, was this what true fear is like? At the very least, at least this vampire was polite. "Ancestors protect us..."

"Very well...." The Sergeant tossed his spear and shield onto the ground and bravely stepped forward, holding up a hand to silence the protests of his men. "I shall answer your questions and whatever inquires you may have. If I have your word that the town and its people be spared. The name of the humble town before you is Trost. There is naught but farmland in the surrounding fields but there is a port to the Northwest. In there yonder direction." The Sergeant pointed off to the distance behind Helnex.

Meanwhile within the town itself, a Kindly Guard was busy escorting/leading Jyeen towards where the response group was readying. To his credit, the giant lady was being rather cooperative and seemed eager to help. He simply smiled and did his best to answer her questions.

"Well... No one actually saw the thing yet. I think only the advance guard outside the North Gate has seen the thing. It must be really frightening to be out there, don't you think?" The Kind Guard said with a small smile as he looked up at Jyeen before tearing his gaze away, his cheeks now a light pink.

In another part of town, another commotion came forth. This time in the form of worms. Lots of it along with one rather large, man sized type worm appearing from where a man used to stand. There was minor panic as people rushed away before some weird girl stepped forward with a rake in her hands and hacking away at the swarm. Unbeknownst to the strange girl, her actions has unforeseen consequences.

"Grrhhhh..... No..... No no no.....!"

"Old Man Johan? You alright...?"

Hamilton Cipher
Of Elves and Men
"What was that, Alishia? ..... Oh my." Hamilton could only utter those two words as a torrent of worms burst forth from the ground nearby. The swarm soon formed a vague humanoid shape before the worms scattered to reveal the man Hamilton wanted to meet. There stood Hex, who simply showed mild surprise at the fact that Alishia and Hamilton was there. As for the elf, she was livid. Screaming bloody murder and threatening to unleash Hamilton upon the Humanoid PKer after buffing him to high heaven. ....... While cowering behind Hamilton himself. Wait did she just refer to him as Meat Shield?

"Uh.... Alishia? Its fine. Hex is... a friend of mine. Also Meat Shield? I'm both flattered, amused, and hurt." Hamilton chuckled, stepping forward to warmly pat Hex's shoulder, taking mind to avoid touching Omen. He stepped back and gestured towards Alishia.

"Anyway. Hex, Alishia. Alishia, Hex. Hex helped me out in recovering one of the rarer items we have in our collection so we kinda became friends following that little joint mission." Hamilton gave the short version of how they met. The version without how they almost killed each other upon meeting anyway before putting an arm around Alishia's shoulder and gently moving her to a comfortable distance from Hex. Which is to say about 5 meters. "And Alishia here.... Is like the Coven's Head Librarian of sorts. Not counting the NPCs of course. So. What have you been up to?"

Hamilton's joking attitude came to a sudden halt as his smile was replaced by an odd expression. He turned to face a particular direction of town and squinted. He wasn't sure if it was his Detection Skills but there suddenly seems to be a really odd vibe coming from that direction. Shortly after, there was a sudden loud shriek that seemed to echo across the whole town.

"Hex... Did you summon something earlier....?"

"No.... This place is mine.... M I N E!!" A rather gaunt and frail looking old man roughly pushed aside a young man who attempted to help him. His face contorted, twisting into insane expressions as he clawed at it. To the horror of those watching, the old man suddenly hunched over and in a flash was suddenly replaced by this grotesque being. A towering, scrawny, horned and vaguely rodent-like being. Its eyes gleamed with malice and hatred as it suddenly lunged forward with blinding speed. Its clawed hands burst into flame as it dove its flaming claws deep into Thing's midsection.

"You are not like the others, Child.... BEGONE!" It shrieked, violently ripping Thing's human form in half, setting the two parts ablaze with [Hellflame] before tossing the two halves aside. It glared at the smoldering remains, its eyes gleaming with sheer hatred as it let loose a primal howl. The sound was unworldly, being similar to a banshee's wail and the scraping of nails on a rough blackboard. It threw one last glance at Thing.

"If you know what is good for you, Child.... You will stay there or slither back to the place whence you came..." It spat out before leaping into the air and hopping from roof to roof, screeching bloody murder as it made its presence known.

"S-Someone get the Guards! A demon!"
"Ancestors help us! The demon has shown itself!"
"That poor girl.... That monster murdered her just like that...."

Meanwhile in a nearby part of town, the Kindly Guard froze as he heard the echoing howls of the Demon. His breathing became erratic as he glanced about. The poor man almost relieved himself when he heard the loud thumps as the Demon hopped from rooftop to rooftop. A group of Guards rushed past the pair and the Kindly Guard quickly hefted his shield and spear. "Oh Ancestors.... I-Its in the city...? Miss, head to the North Gate! Tell the Captain that I'll be with Sergeant Muller's squad! Go now!"

With that, the Kindly Guard rushed off. Leaving Jyeen with a task, not even realizing that he has yet to share his name.

As for the situation at the North Gate. The Gate Sergeant and his men were shocked to suddenly hear the howl coming from the other side of the Gate. "What in the world...?"

"Sergeant.... Isn't that howl supposed to be from out there?"
"Everyone inside is in danger!"
"By the Ancestor's Grace.... We've doomed them all...."

"How could.... I-I don't understand...." The Sergeant almost collapsed onto his knees. His daughter is inside the church inside!

JYEEN
Jyeen listens as the man speaks following alongside the man, nodding before turning to look down to him "It can be, though at the same time that fear can give the dangers more power over you or it can prevent unwise actions. A fine line either way" turning their head away from the blushing man she looks ahead down the road "But should i be able to locate this demon, i am confident i will be able to dispatch it. I stated before its an area i have a great deal of experience in so take heart in that fortune". The man while obvious lacking in skill and strength compared those she was useful was nevertheless being helpful in her cause out in this unknown world, he seemed unaware and prone to giving into the horror stories he had heard but the fact he was still willing to help spoke of his character nevertheless. It had honestly been some time since she had conversed with someone outside of the guild so it was somewhat refreshing, especially when it was one of the rare times there was no hostility or outward fear at her presence. The town overall seemed alive but peaceful, its people oblivious to the fragile state of things....and there in laid the problem.

The guild itself built strength through confronting the unknown and fears, taking joy in that surge of emotions when confronted with such things and for those that came to them trying to impress the same values. But this town? outside those outside arrivals she had encountered earlier she was fairly confident it would crumble should those things be encountered. On one hand they had the peace, on the other the vulnerability that brought, one of the guilds goals to show such things, and the other the delicate town that would crumble at such things. It made her consider the guilds overall purpose in this new world, thinking through what each of the craftsman would do in this situation and going between the conflicting opinions. Perhaps they could carry out that goal to strengthen some of the local settlements carefully while protecting them at the same time? Hmm if done right it would gain favor and influence...something Carnelian had quite a bit of in the old world with those they attracted with the performances....would the craftsman want her to do that?, it would ensure the name is known and remembered, raising its status.......perhaps that would suffice?. She shakes her head a little to focus once more, she could raise this with the guardians and see there thoughts too.....though that didnt mean they should not start this as a test run.

Sending a message off to Slinder she ensures everything's going to plan, it seemed the map was filling up quickly, the wall had already started and the area hidden with the various enchantments. Those should definitely be useful to avoid the simpler of the populace from discovering it, heading around the area or turning back should they get too close with thoughts of other matters to deal with....they can be removed at a later date once the reveal is ready and they choose to do so. Cenachomp was quickly cataloguing the various information sent from reports and everything was once again running. It was a good feeling to see the guild in motion once more after so long, the guardians likely feeling the same with the new purpose boosting moral significantly. However she could not help but feel something was off.

Looking around the area once more as they travel she reminds herself to stay alert, especially with the other high levels running around.

Thing
Thing kept the smile as she danced around the worms, eventually ending the performance once the citizens were out of sight with a clean swipe splattering the creature. She leans on the pole to observe her handiwork, the thing was weak sure but hey she will take the fun where she can get it, but really the fact Hexy chose a worm of all things did have a certain form of irony to it. She stops to consider the thought, wait was it Irony or just a funny coincidence? Cena was always going on about her missusing the word.....

The small girl is broken from her thoughts as she looks down and sees a claw coming through her midsection and then her bottom half flying across the street through the fire in complete confusion. Did something just attack her? Wait was she on fire? "Ahhh! Im on fire! bad fire! shoo shooe!" the upper half flailing for a moment before going still as thing regains her senses *Ok, Hellfires already active...cant put it out...oww oww think think, she really shouldnt have gotten distracted...she doesnt want to have to regenerate on her first mission in ages...think* the girls upper body seems to be nothing but a chared mess at this point though below the surface she is quickly at work to minimize the damage. Covering herself in a strange material with a pocket of air in between and through the material. Keeping the bubbles coming and the shell she should be fine from the damage for now, though best keep still and erase her presence so she appears dead. Man this was such a pain, she wasnt going to hear the end of this if the others found out. Best just let her little avatars keep a eye on the demond and send message to Jyeen.

JYEEN
Jyeen stops as the message from thing comes through spinning to the sound, nodding to the kindly guard before running to the assigned area to meet up with the captain "Keep the Citizens clear! Everyone get inside!, The creature is within the walls!....Its a Baphomet, one of the highest demon tiers" scanning those present "Do not attempt to fight it, just move people clear and if those other new commers arrive the priority is to get it out of the city. Spread the word, the one you sent for me headed to a Sergent Mullers team" giving a serious glance to the captain, confirming a understanding. "It is something i can handle, the other newcomers as well, but i need to know you understand what im telling you".

Hateful AngelHeleL

Helel sat on his bed, motionless as stone except for his fingers, which tapped a foreign tune against the linen sheet.

"There! Now you look even prettier!"

The angel created a large mirror before him, so that he may see what it was the human girl Ria had placed upon his head. It was a crown. A basic crown, little more than a band really, and made only of the vines and flowers he himself had created, but a crown nonetheless, a symbol of reverence from the humans to him. It was acceptable. The mirror fell back and shattered against the stone floor, breaking into smaller and smaller pieces until nothing of it remained.

"Than-" Helel's head snapped away, his eyes searching the far wall for something. He stood up from the bed. "There is a demon here," he said aloud, words which caused a wave of panic to spread like a disease. "I will cleanse it." There was a flash of golden light as Helel disappeared from inside of the church.

"He-Helel? ...Mister Angel?"

Helel burst into existence in the sky above the city, no longer in the form of a human child but rather in his true godly form, shining with radiant golden light with a dozen golden wings fanned out from his back. His entire being seemed to exude light, but especially his eyes that seemed to hold the sky itself within, eyes that saw every truth of the world but now only focused on the city of Trost. The name of this place was just one thing he'd learned from the human girl Ria. The things he witnessed within this city, the beings who walked its streets, they terrified Helel. He'd suspected as much after seeing the mists, but he hadn't wanted to look to be certain. This place was crawling with beings who stood above even gods, and plenty more lesser powerful existences on top of that. Helel slowed his mind and heart. First, the demon. Then he would eliminate the other threats. He would confront the problem of those who stood above gods only when it needed to be confronted, when ignoring and fleeing were no longer options. His searching eyes found the demon.

The space in front of the vile demon exploded with light that blinded and burned the creature's skin, light that gathered into the form of a radiant child. The demon recoiled at the sudden appearance of a divine being, but Helel wasn't looking at it. His eyes had spotted the shapeshifting creature that the demon had attacked. To his eyes the thing looked more like a writhing mass of maggots all bundled up and attached to one another, a vile sight, but no doubt to others it would simply appear to be an injured... more likely a dead, human. His inhuman eyes saw its struggling. A small white light, little more than a pinprick that would have looked right at home twinkling in the night sky, appeared in Helel's palm. He turned away from the monster and back to the demon.

[Golden Rule] Chains of glowing gold pulled against the demon's arm as it had slashed through the air towards the angel. Its glowing red eyes met the angel's radiant blue ones. The demon's were filled with hatred, the hatred shared between all angelic and demonic creatures. Then the hatred faded from Helel's eyes, and something new entered the demon's. It hesitated for a single moment. [Morning Star] The tiny white star made contact with the demon, and everything disappeared as the world was replaced by white light.

Reality managed to find its way back slowly as the white light finally began to fade, revealing a burnt husk and Helel facing away from it. "Your sins cannot be forgiven in this world, but perhaps you will find peace in a next life." He heard the sound of the demon's body breaking apart behind him. The angel walked away, his eyes and mind already moved onto the next thing he would deal with: the shapeshifting monster.

His eyes widened and he turned, his own movements feeling sluggish. The demon wasn't- He'd seen it too late. Helel barely moved enough that the demon's claws didn't tear him entirely in half, and his golden ichor spilled across the ground. He landed lightly after being thrown back the by attack, eyes staring at the very much still living demon. Helel looked at his body. His entire left shoulder and arm had been ripped away, as well as two of his wings on that side, with two more well shredded despite still being attached to him. It hurt, but physical pain was something he knew how to deal with. What angered him was that he'd been hurt by a demon. A sinful creature dared to attack and injure him, a god.

Helel stepped back towards the demon. [Ohr Ein Sof] [Greater Regenerate] [Golden Rule] The light that had been coming off of him before suddenly seemed dull as Helel's body lit up nearly as bright as his previous spell, but rather than harsh white light, this was a soft golden light. His body began to rapidly heal the wounds the demon had inflicted as golden chains again tried to ensnare the demon, though this time the demon knew what would happen and managed to fight against the pulling chains. That was fine, it was only to keep him in place for a second. Helel raised his intact arm and made a flat hand. [Hand of God] He brought his hand down, and an invisible force came down onto the demon and everything nearby, crushing it into the ground. This time he did not turn away. He stood, watching and waiting for the cockroach to emerge from the destroyed earth. "Playing in the dirt with the worms, a perfect place for a demon, if there was a place for them in this world." He pulled his destroyed arm to him and incinerated it with holy fire, taking the Holy Ring from it.

It was not too difficult for Drevis to learn how to operate the Mirror of Remote Viewing. While the control was not as instinctive as it was when it was still a game, the commands were simple enough to learn in a few minutes. Finding Ignis, however, took longer than learning how to control the mirror. The mirror's movement was too slow. However, finding his general direction was easier. Ignis was heading to a fortified city, attacked by demons.

...what for? They weren't humans anymore.

Speaking of humans, Drevis had determined that he was no longer one. The attack of the demons didn't faze him, nor was he surprised by the NPCs. He first dismissed it as a malfunction in the game, him being unable to log out, but once he saw the NPCs chattering away, there came a feeling that it wasn't the YGGDRASIL he knew. The city outside, too, was not any city he knew in YGGDRASIL. As improbable as it was, Drevis theorised that he had been transported into a new world as his game avatar. He, who was no longer humans, should have no obligation to care for humans.

"...so why am I still here?"

"Eh? Isn't it to find Uncle Ignis?" Candy tilted her head slightly to the right, confused.

"Hm, I will only interfere his fight. Besides," Drevis' attention shifted toward the city. "there is something else we can do."

The angel and devil were hovering on air, the angel in the devil's embrace. The two of them followed Ignis through the Gate spell casted by Jacqualine, an NPC of Harvest. While Ignis was killing the demons, the guards were still wary of him. Not a surprise given his appearance. The atmosphere inside the city, too, did not lose its tense with the appearance of Ignis. Is it impossible after all, for humans to trust demons?

"If only there is a Faust in there somewhere..."

"Hm?"

"Never mind. Do you remember the most important thing for an organisation, Candy?" Drevis descended slowly to a desolate part of the town.

"Trust!"

"And the most important thing for order?"

"Control of information!"

"Exactly. Now, let's ask our neighbours what do they know of our situation, shall we?" Another spell was thrown as soon as his feet touched the ground.

[Summon Temptation Devil Clique]

A pentagram lighted up on the ground. On each point of the star, a figure slowly raised up. The six of them looked different, but if there was one similarity between them, they were all beautiful and handsome beyond humans. Drevis clasped his hands and gathered their attention.

"Calm down the general mass and help with the evacuation. Aid any stagglers to reach a safe destination and try to lower the tension in the air. Do not abduct anyone just yet and when confronted any demons, prioritize escaping. Is my request clear?"

""""""Yes, my prince!""""""

The six men and women kneeled down in response. Drevis turned to Candy.

"Ah, Candy. Do you remember Harvest' symbol? Can you draw it on the incubus and succubus? Somewhere not too obvious but noticable."

"Leave it to me!" The angel spinned her finger, taking out a pen out of nowhere. The Quill of Forest Light was her equipment for casting sigil. "and after that? What about you, Dad?"

"Keep on helping the mass. A friendly first impression is crucial. As for me, well."

His place was never on the front line. Drevis was more comfortable at the back, processing information and giving out order. The guards could use some hope of survival. Maybe a strong figure of command that will bring salvation. Ha.

"Let's just say Daddy found a new toy, eh?"

With a flap of his wings, Drevis flew to the city wall. Something was coming and he couldn't stop it. It was alright not to stop, right?

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

This would be so much fun!

Rex

Amaz

As the horns sounded Rex shot a glance to the city's defenders, "you'll be free of these creatures soon enough, but remember my question. Will you be grateful?" Rex spoke in the chiding tone as he grabbed his weapon and teleported away.

The spell instantly moved him one kilometer above his previous position. As he began to plummet towards the earth he looked around, the others were moving to engage the horde. Suddenly, he saw a gate open and several beings emerge, many were standing by while some entered the city and a mounted warrior joined the fray. Rex observed as the mounted warrior unleashed a 10th tier spell. The move alone with the blaring music convinced him that some of them must be players, there actions and the fact that no one in the city mentioned them led him to believe that they also were new to this world.

"Regardless of their intentions I should use this to expand my forces," Rex picked an area between the walls and surging horde. Taking care to be far enough from the city walls to avoid collateral damage and distance himself from the newcomers.

Before Rex the mass of the Spawnling horde charged forward while behind he could hear the defenders clamoring at his sudden appearance. As the horde neared he could still hear the defenders shouting at him to retreat, facing away from them Rex slowly removed his mask and as he did he activated one of his aura's [Deathly Radiance].

A pale purple glow radiated from Rex, everything within 20 ft of him burst into churning purple flames and beings within 50 ft of Rex were taking constant damage. Within moments the bodies were mounting all around him, having put his mask away we waved his hand before the smoldering bodies nearest to him. A dark liquid consumed the flesh and began to swell before bursting open and releasing their contents. From each of the consumed corpses a flock of 30 crows flew up into the air. Only someone with keen eyesight would be able to make out that the crows where undead.

As the crows took to the skies Rex could feel them and with a thought he gave his orders and the great flock of 150 crows began to circle the city, should any Spawnling come to near the walls the Crows would set upon them, he also delegated a portion of the flock to keep an eye on happenings within the city. [Triple Maximize Magic, Undead Swordbearer] rivers of black ichor flowed from Rex and to three corpses, they began to shift as the black liquid reconstituted them into the fearsome undead. Even as this new figures rose that charred corpses around them were beginning to thrash violently.

"Woe to the living for the dead have risen," Rex spoke in a voice that carried beyond the shrieking of the Spawnlings, as he did he began to ascend into the air having silently cast the fly spell.

He stopped using his aura and put his mask back on, this Undead Swordbearers began to cleave through the horde with vicious delight their massive greatswords blazing with undead flames. Those Spawnlings that had been killed by his aura were falling upon their living counterparts. Stopping above the battle field Rex release his halbred and held his hand out [Greater Create Item] a black bow and quiver appeared in Rex's hands. Rex began to leisurely fire the bow into the mass of Spawnlings. Though he had no abilities with the bow or magics that increased it's power the fact remained that his great strength meant that any shot would kill, as he let each arrow fly we watched it impact and down its target and silently he cast one of his Necromancer spells, and soon his part of the battlefield was a scene of mayhem, a pitched battle between the living and the undead raged.

Donning the brown cloak that Acles gave, Iota pulled up its hood until the shadows cover her eyes and most of her facial features making her go incognito along with Acles, chuckling a little as she is reminded of the time when her creator had a similar idea.

"Nothing is True... Everything is permitted." Iota said to herself as she smirks a bit, referencing a certain video game that also uses YGGDRASIL's methods.

"ありがとう, Acles-san. I'll follow your lead... but I suggest we should take some supplies for ourselves and for the Guild... and Hope we bump into my Creator..." Iota smiled a little under the hood as she scans the surroundings for anything of importance to them, she found nothing but some barrels of salted pork and hardtack breads with some common peasantry affordable food, in other words, nothing of importance. Iota looked around a bit more while exploring the place with Acles but still found nothing of importance to them, utilizing the inventory she has, she grabbed the things that are deemed to be edible for anyone including themselves.

"But I don't... sense my creator nearby... thus our only hope is Hamilton-sama and the elven girl who threatened to destroy Trost." Iota shrouded herself with the brown cloak, hiding her maid outfit as well her special weaponry within. However, knowing the demon attack warned to them prior to their seperation, Iota thought Acles would have an Idea to regroup with the main Lake Coven Guild members at the meeting location as Trost is in chaos as the demon apparently is already in the town itself, causing havoc in the city.

"I also advise that we should be ready just in case of these monsters... attack us out of nowhere." Iota added, her weaponry primed and ready to rip and tear through anything that tries to harm them.

Hex

From Alishia's threats to Hamilton's greeting, Hex just had a few words to say. He could have said many things. How he was happy to see Hamilton, how he was curious of Alishia's animosity towards him, or asking about the little display from earllier. Did they have a reason to try and stand out? None of that mattered anymore. He just needed to say one thing.

"Mr. Cipher, I must say. Your elven companion is... ridiculously adorable." That's all that mattered. He said it on a solemn tone.

"Eh? Is that all that you wish to convey, Master Hex? After everything that happened?"
"Yes, Omen. That's all."

Omen was confused, but enquired no further. It was better that way. All that happened remained in the past. Hex could not change the past, but he could appreciate the present. His moment of relaxation was sweet...while it lasted.

Screams of terror filled the air, and Hex's "holidays" went as fast as they came, like summer rain.

"Hex... Did you summon something earlier....?"
"Yes, I did. I used [Emperor Worm] to get rid of that wierd girl that was followig you before. She seemed to be a doppelganger strong enough to imitate my high tier buffs. But she should have dealt with what I summoned by now. The strongest thing I summoned was a lvl 75, man-sized worm, of average power and a few skills. It's suited for stalling, not combat." Hex said, calmly. But he was a bit anxious on the inside. Something was off.

[Lesser summon: Flying Eye]
1544562164828.png
[Mental Link]

Flying Eye was a lvl 30 summon. It was fast, could turn invisible, analyze a creature's strength, and cast a flare to temporarily blind enemies (of course, certain races and those with magic resistance would not be affected by that). It was mainly used for scouting. If it went in an area and it deemed it safe, it would trasmit the message "safe" to Hex, and "dangerous" if viceversa, or if it died. But combined with [Mental Link], Hex could see through its eye.

The summon flew in the direction of the screams, in invisible mode. What it saw was...

"A demon!"

[Message]: Dangerous.

"A powerful demon." He corrected himself.

Nemo

"Nemo! Look to the west! What do you see?"

Nemo's conversation with Niiko was interrrupted by a message from Selvernas. As he shifted his attention, he could clearly see the column of smoke.

[Nexus: Ego]

Nemo soared through the sky going close to the direction of the smoke. When he arrived he saw...a giant creature, seemed to be a demon of sorts. Some of the lower level NPCs were initially trying to attack it, then they started hitting each other. The giant crushed a portion of the city's walls, and aftwerwads came a powerful outburst of flames. The giant was no longer. But from the firestorm came another figure. A humanoid bug. It used fire magic and harmed some NPCs. Nemo could feel his anger rising up, but he stood still. He gradually regained his composure. If certain Yiggdrasil mechanics where available, they could still revive their NPCs. Non only that, what if it they were being directed towards a trap. He was a Shielder and he was the one in charge of Hate Management, not the enemy.

"GREETINGS GOOD CITIZENS, AS OF TODAY, THIS CITY HAS COME UNDER THE RULE OF THE DEMON KING! PLEASE DO NOT PANIC! ONLY MOST OF YOU WILL PERISH AS A RESULT OF THIS CHANGE OF LEADERSHIP!"

Nemo's anxious face was replaced by a blank expression. Even after Cantabel summoned the wall of flames and the fire rain, his expression did not change.

[Message]: Selvernas. This is terrible. We are under attack by a high level Chūnibyō, or more. I only spotted two separate entities for now, but one of them disappeared.

[Mass Message]: Attention Sigvold. This is Nemo speaking. We are under attack. Assume offensive positions.

[Oyster-Only Message]: Pandemona, Demonbane, Mirtillo, Mercy. Do not move from your posts. Mirtillo, you may need to use <Judgement>. Await my signal.
[Mesage from Mirtillo]: Understood, Lord Nemo.

[Triple Summon: Gravity Ball]

Nemo summoned his three Gravity Balls (lvl 85, impervious to physical harm, but vulnerable to magic). He kept two near him and sent one Cantabel's way.

Nyx and Lumiere

The Demon Queen and Homunculus Angel where interrupted from their usual lazing around and flirting by an unforseen attack. Now, Nemo's two special NPCs where lazy, but not when they had a duty to fullfil. They got out of the bar, and flew towards Cantabel's position. But before any of them could do anything, Nemo's Gravity Ball, that came near Cantabel, casted [Greater Gravitational Increase] upon the Vermin Mage.

"Ah that's Lord Nemo's Gravity Ball."
"Let's assist."
"Indeed."

Thus they started with a part of the combo they used against the gigantic avian that attacked Naho Village some time ago...

[Heart Stomper] a powerful debuff by Nyx which stopped a creature from regenerating and/or healing for 30 seconds. Afterwards Nyx followed up with her unholy fire skill, [Hell Flame], while Lumiere used the opposite, [Holy Flame], followed by [Salvation Lance] which, apart from holy damage, also burned some mana from the enemy.

[Divine Blessing], a high tier buff that temporarily increased magical damage of the caster and those in close AoE by 30%, while also adding a holy damage attribute to their attacks regardless of nature. He did not buff himself, though. He buffed Nyx. It was possible because he was not a true angel.

"Triplet Maximize Magic: [Morning Star]!", three azure flame orbs appeared around Nyx and they grew exponentially until they looked akin to mini blue suns. She launched them all at Cantabel. Because of Lumiere's buff, they'd also deal some holy damage., apart from their greatly increased unholy damage. Meanwhile...

Creatures like Dominion Authority had Holy Smite, but Lumiere had...

"Triplet Maximize Magic: [Godly Smite]!" Three gigantic magic circles formed in the air and, one after another, three enormous beams of light fell towards the Vermin Mage.

Ball Breaker

"Hello there, handsome." A very cute young lady addressed herself to Jaxter.

1544567675216.png

"I've never seen you around here before. I guess you're an intruder. Tehe!" she spoke softly, yet energetically. "I didn't have something to punch in a long time. You being here makes me happy. But at the same time angry, you impudent fool." Her voice dropped on the last sentence, became deeper, rougher, and scarier. She took her dress off and her appearance gradually changed. Her sclerae became black, her irises yellow. Her hair changed color to red with some of it black, tied in a ponytail, and a pair of horns appeared on her head. She grew taller, very muscular, and her skin tone shifted to a darker one. With most of her skin exposed, one could see the large magical tattoos on her body.

1544568134486.png

Ah yes, I belive this young one quaifies as what my creator called... a shota.

"Hey, kid, wanna fight to the death?" It was a rethorical question. She'd kill him anyway. Slowly.

The soft tapping of fur can be heard to the side of Hex and the others as it appears a small cat is somehow trying to clap its paws before giving up and speaking "I mean its a Baphomet, really should be more specific Hexy and its even cuter you chose that other little thing for "stalling" the cat is somehow making quotations with the paws and can only be assumed the cat is somehow smileing "Though their is a Homocidal angel as well being very naughty, couldnt be a dear and help get the thing out the city could you? Big Sis is really firm on that" strolling past their leg rubbing against it "Really would have loved to keep playing, but those two are being party poopers" stopping to turn its head back at the end "Oh....and check not mate" a smug and amused look across the small creatures face.

Oh, it was like that. The famous PK was a friend of Milton and she just overreacted like usual. Now that the misunderstanding was cleared everything should be fine and they would be acquitted nicely and everything was forgiven... as if!

"You should have told me, you know! We could have this city encyclopedia if Acles didn't get seperated from us! Oh, nice to meet you- why do I feel everyone is belittling me!"

Alishia puffed her cheeks in annoyance. And it was cute, despite her loud complain and whatnot. She was determined to make Hex and Milton apologized, but her resolve didn't last too long. Soon, she also stared at the gigantic figure in the distance. A demon. And from Hex' words, a strong one. The talking cat was nothing compared to that.

Hex should be on the same level at her from what she knew of him. A demon strong enough for a level 100 to feel danger... a level 100 boss? For a support character like her, it would be impossible to fight him. Impossible, if she hadn't completed her latest grimoire!

"Time to use my ace weapon against demons! [Grimoire Switch: Holy Grimoire]!"

The Holy Grimoire was one of Alishia's best Grimoire. It was a grimoire of Legendary rank, containing even the 10th tier spell Holy Smite and Judgement, both offensive spell of divine magic. Her role was usually confined to support, but with Holy Grimoire, she could cause heavy damage as well! She had one problem, though.

Her grimoire. It didn't switch out. Strange. There shouldn't be any problem with-

"-ah! [Grimoire Switch] cooldown is 15 minutes!"

And she used it earlier to equip Spatial Grimoire.

"G-gate! I can cast Gate! Tell me where to cast it and I will do it!"

Gate could only be used on previously travelled area, but Alishia found a loophole in that rule. Acles' World Traveller allowed him to map area beyond his vision. The reason why she used a transmitter in place of Message spell was for the sake of this loophole. The transmitter could send mental images. She switched on the transmitter on her ear. Her line was on.

Acles, does your mapping cover the area outside of the city?

Yes, my lady.

Good. Milton wanted her to open a gate a bit away from the demon outside. Then...

Keep the line on. I will cast Gate to approach the demon. The city should be protected.

As you wish.

Alishia closed her eyes. The line was silent for a moment. It had a feeling of emptiness, knowing there was an empty corridor in your mind. The feeling didn't last long, however. A torrent of images soon entered the passage. Alishia could see it. The demon's body. The crack on the ground. The wilting grass. And most importantly, a strategic location to attack the demon. She didn't waste another second.

Her eyes snapped open.

"[GATE]!"

Helnex aura relaxed as the Sargent finally answered his question. "Good," Helnex said glad that he was getting an answer. Though they didn't help in much in the end since he had no idea where Trost was compared to his guild base. "Have you heard of the Lake Coven?" Helnex asked before things began kicking off in town. Helnex heard a demonic howl coming from in the town followed by feeling a large amount of holy power. Helnex didn't know what to make of the current serious of a problem as the guards before him became scared once more but this time from what in the city than out of it. Event he sergeant, the one to stand up to Helnex was on his knees.

"Get up," Helnex said softly before grabbing the sergeant by the collar of his shirt and lifted him off the ground. "You are the current highest ranked officer out here right? Then act like it!" Helnex said dropping the sergeant on his feet so he could stand. "Take hold of the situation and handle it! If you can stand up to me and not drop down in fear then you won't drop down from the anything less! Do I make myself clear?!" Helnex said doing his best to give a pep talk. "Open up that gate, let me in, and help me take care of the monster inside," Helnex demanded as he figured he wasn't going to get any more answer while the city was under attack.

Alyssa Morrow

So command the wake of dreams
To restore the world, cut 'way the seams....

Alyssa thought on the words of their hosts. With the center not having been reconned since the their war over three decades ago, things may have changed a great deal so the accuracy of the map could possibly be in question. More reason to check it out, she thought. She had kept her eyes on the map while the rest talked, and a few seconds after the horn had blasted, sounding the arrival of Spawnlings. Glancing around the room a moment later, she found Fabian, Drix and Rex all having left the room to combat the threat, with the first two keeping their subordinates in tow. It seemed a bit of overkill for her to join the fray as well, but that would hardly stop her... at least, when she actually joined. But what stuck with her was as her companions left, saying little to nothing.

"My, they're in quite a rush to prove their mettle," she giggled. Turning to Sigra and Indi, she smiled, "I apologize for them. I'm afraid our boys don't seem to know many manners." Honestly, asking them if they'd be grateful... that seemed tactless, but it was hardly Rex's fault. Being without emotions in a new world, where many of her companions still seemed to be playing the game, she supposed it was only natural. And honestly, it still felt like a good deal like Yggdrasil, especially back within the confines of Sigvold. Suddenly, it felt as though she was playing an ambassador rather than ranger or beast master. It felt rather irksome, but she figured someone had to play the part, and it would probably ease their guildmaster's concerns if someone did. "I hope you'll be open to answering a few questions of mine concerning the recorded events since your Great War and the Spawnlings' arrival up until now. Anything you'd be able to offer on the subject would be helpful. In the meantime, let's join the others and push them back," Alyssa requested of them warmly. "You'll be able to see what we can do and then judge our capabilities after, though.... perhaps not to them." She giggled again quite joyously, visualizing quite the scene of Sigra or Indi offering a compliment and either Fabian or Rex taking it in the wrong light. It was something she wished to avoid, between the crafts-master who would only accept the highest of praise or the humorless lich who.... well, who knew what he would do? Drix was by far the most reasonable of the three men she had traveled with.

Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she moved to the door and then headed toward the gate. She glanced about, noting the rushing to and fro, and discerned the proper gate to head to. It seemed like such chaos from the ground. And this is why I prefer an aerial view, she thought as she spread her wings. With a single thrust of them, she was able to get a higher vantage and soon landed on a guard tower to better survey the area. She arrived in time to see her companions doing the most carnage in the battle, and a surge of pride exuded from her. She would add her glory to their own. But then she noticed five others, and she soon recognized them. So, we didn't come to this new world alone, she thought warmly. It was good to know they hadn't been the only ones plopped here, and it seemed as though she miscounted. There were a couple more about too. "Such an interesting turn of events." Drawing her massive bow and notching several arrows, she aimed for a cluster that had yet to reach Rex's undead horde, or Drix and Fabian, or their underlings. She used [Draconic Mantle], a nice little skill that would give the arrows small burst of her own breath weapon, which was flame, a moment before sinking deep into their flesh, just before loosing them from the bowstring. She'd do this with her other fire type or augmenting skills, such as [Reign of Fire], until her renewed arrow supply ran out, after which, she glanced at the nice sized pouch of gold on her hip. She weighed a few pros and cons before deciding her course.

As a long range specialist, melee combat had the possibility of being very dangerous for her, but she felt safe enough with her comrades, and her own backup plan, should she actually be struck by the creatures. As she leapt down into the foray from her perch on the guard tower, she called out, "Best back up unless you want to be singed~"

She aimed to land a little past where the trades-master and master craftsman fought, hoping to keep out of Rex's way and avoid his undead, as well as the others who entered the fight. As soon as her feet touched ground she used [Glory] and took a seemingly impossible deep breath before expelling a dark gold flame. [Glory] didn't do anything to the base damage of her breath weapon... but it did extent the burning damage two-fold. Before, in Yggdrasil, it didn't change the color of her flame either, as it always remained a constant bonfire-type color. But this extra golden hue to it? She wondered if it had to do with the dragon race she chose as one of her avatar's "parents." This world brought nothing but more questions. With a sigh, she turned and buffeted some close standing spawnlings that were fortunate enough to not get hit with her flames. She'd have to see about playing with her aerial combats skills at some point, but it hardly seemed as if this world had anything worthy of entering that type of combat with. The only one, that she knew of, was the guild's mistress, Selvernas, and she didn't see that happening any time soon.

It was a veritable blood orgy, when Drix and the twins entered the fray, sending broken burning bodies across the field, a sadistic smile working it's way upon the Helmeted visage of the Frost. Fabian couldn't help but bark a laugh when his friend mentioned the slimes, making the carnage all the sweeter as the Spawnlings broke upon them like waves upon the cliffs. He was about to respond when a portal opened up not far from their location, and out of it someone he had thought to never see again.

"Gods Below! Ignis?! How the hell did you find us?! Never mind that, Join in on the fun, and I'll answer all the question you have!" Fabian cried out joyously, as his favorite PKer and his minions entered the battle. Fabian then began to fight with greater vigor, as the song of battle filled him. Not Man-o war mind you, but the visceral bloody music of steel, and the rending of bodies. It was then that Rex began to raise the somewhat whole and still burning corpses of their foe, when things began to get even more interesting. That was until Shizira dropped in and immolated a few score of the abominations. "Shizira, Message Selvernas, and alert her of our old friends showing up!" Fabian barked, cleaving a foe in twine. Nothing could dampen the Frosts mood at this point.

Amaz

Outside the walls of the city, a ways away, spawnlings of all sorts of forms rushed out from the northern treeline into the open fields in front of the walls. The large dog-like ones being the vanguard of the rush, followed by much larger forms, humanoid spawnlings with various extra limbs ending in a weapon of some sort. Behind those were behemoths almost four times larger than your average humanoid spawnling, their grotesque bodies being more abstract from whatever they were meant to be a mockery of. Like small Shoggoths they slowly made their way toward the quickly barricaded gates of the city, the other spawnlings were hammering themselves at the walls attempting to climb over one another to get up and above. The beleaguered defenders rushed to the walls with bows, slings and other ranged weapons, firing what they could down toward the monsters that have terrorized them for so long. Tenn, the minotaur from Naho, rushed to the gates where other people were reinforcing it with wooden beams taken from buildings, and a small cobblestone wall around the entrance of the gate should it fall.

"ich," Sigra commented when all of the newcomers left to go fight the spawnlings. "Well indi, lets go." She gestured to him and he hesitated to leave the safety of the town center but felt obligated to go. "Sigra!" A human man shouted her name and threw her her gleaming turquoise spear and handed her her similar looking rounded shield. "This one wasn't like the last one, they don't seem to be targeting the weaknesses in the defenses like last time." She looked at him in curiousity but then walked toward the walls eagar to see what was happening, if they weren't doing what was effective last time could it be they were experimenting? They did leave suddenly, and this attack was much faster than the last few times they have attacked, whatever it was it left a bitter taste in her mouth.

Getting up on the walls she looked down at the carnage below, from the arrows of the defenders that did little to add to the bloodshed, what caught her attention though were the newcomers abilities. Particularly the ones that came from the gate, one of them didnt look a tinge bit like anything she'd ever seen, and they even seemed to be raising dead which made her grip her spear tighter but then reasoned that they were from another world so, either the others were also undead, and somehow are hiding it rather well, or they were telling the truth of their origins. The new arrivals seemed to know the strangers from the caravan which made her slightly more relieved. At least they werent enemies.

While the forward spawnling attack happened , far beyond where the action was, one could see the very tips of trees toppling over one by one making its way toward Amaz. large thumps could be heard echoing, from far away, the spawnling horde only grew thicker as time went on. The defenders ontop of the walls were horrified at both the large amount of spawnlings and the carnage that the strangers drew. Sigra was reasoning that the spawnlings from the last attack regrouped with another group, making this horde the largest one that they've seen, it was a boon the strangers came when they did. But it seemed the growing horde wasnt letting down, she had second thoughts of joining them to help out, looking around at the walls which were full of beastmen raining down arrows and other defenders simply staring down.

However it didnt end there, massive Spawnlings bursted out of the treeline, toppling over anything in their path, curiously they ran straight at the strangers with their scythe-like claws, completely ignoring the walls of Amaz.

Sigvold

Selvernas was about half way down to the ground from the balcony all the way up top of Ioavollr when something caught her eye to the west, but before she could react the western wall exploded with debris of wall flying in every whichever direction. Seeing her guild damage in any which way let alone the damage spreading infuriated her, automatically [Aspect Of The Phoenix] activated and an explosion of holy fire shot out from her and she bolted to where the common happened leaving a long fiery streak. Using the flames as propulsion and flying her wings the guild leader made it there quickly, spotting that nemo was already responding to the attack she looked around at the situation, the lower leveled NPC's were fighting each other and a flame storm was heading toward her going to Ioavollr.

Casting "[Bless]!" a holy spell that removed most status effects from nearby allies she also casted "Triple Maximize Magic! [Radiant]!" which extended the range of bless. It stopped the NPC's from fighting each other. Now to deal with the flames, she flew directly into it knowing that her pheonix heritage means she was immune to all fire damage not to mention her aspect of the phoenix was on. "[Eater Of Flames]!" An ability unique to the phoenix race it lets her absorb any and all fire around her, that means any fire that was running on stoves, torches, the flame storm and even the hell and holy flames from Nyx and Lumiere. The fires that used to rage all around were all sucked up into Selvernas's aura and it gave a short buff to mana and power ability in which she used to cast "[Tyr's Armory]!" It was an ability from her weaponmancer and mobile armory classes. Normally the max amount of weapons a weaponmancer can use was ten, at least that was the max she heard of, the most she could hatch out was 8. But this time, along with the buff from [Eater Of Flames] she poured everything into this, the rage from seeing her beloved guild harmed.

The result was a sea of Divine and Legendary class weapons being buffed by her [Aspect Of The Phoenix] ability making them a lit with holy fire, appearing from small gates all above Sigvold blanketing the sky. If she wasnt so focused on the intruder(s) she would've looked in awe of the ridiculous scale that her ability was showing, it looked as if her entire treasury from down below was up here! Shining like a star Selvernas looked to the one intruder she could see, and pointed at him the weapons from above following her movements, pointing at him. "Cease your actions!"

Down in Ioavollr Akudez and Nerono had sensed that an intruder was near Ioavollr, knowing that Lady Selvernas was busy dealing with something else they both decided to go deal with this pest with the two of them. To their surprise however, Ball Breaker, Lord Liquid Snake's servant was already there when they past the gates. "Ho? Ball Breaker, why are you here?" Akudez commented but then shook her head shaking the thought away. "No matter, i am glad you are here." She then looked toward the intruder passively, he did not look very strong but she could sense that he was, why weren't the traps triggered? where are the rest of the servants? "I am Afraid we have to stop you here." She did a wave of motion with her body and her equipment was "equipped" and shown, and Nerono turned into a shade and disappeared from sight floating away into the skies.

Wastes

Coming from the mountain following the light from the luminark a contingent of at least 40 plate armored soldiers with shields and halberds stepped into the light showing themselves to the three suspicious figures in the darkness of the undead wastes. They didnt look undead, could it be they were with the golden warrior that had past by? They took a ready but a non threatening stance. "We are the eternal guard of the wall. Who, are you?" The, what looked like leader of the soldiers stepped forward. He wasnt very distinct from the others except for some coloration on his armor, he stood tall and unflinching while the others formed a defensive square should any undead attack. Up above a wyvern flew silently waiting to assist the soldiers should any complications happen, and back at the luminark the man who had been commandeering it stared, not blinking as to not miss anything that would happen.

"uhoh" the doll whispered while being motionless on the knights back. "It was a bad timing to end my disguise the way I did..."

"Serves you right, besides... what kind of idiot would fall for that kind of appearance in the middle of nowhere?"

The young girl sighed as the continued staring at the new party that was greeting them, surely a new way to get information but would they be open given the girls appearance of a beast girl?

" Oh don't be like that, my performance would have been splendid, I would have acted as the captive of Don, screaming and yelling of the terrible acts he made me do... maybe shed a tear or two after they rescue me, have a celebration party at night and then I would have murdered them all... probably... but now there is no point... " The puppet said that heartbroken, she was looking forward that adventure.

"... leaving that aside what do you plan to do" she directed her attention towards the dark knight "the doll can fool them until they get bored of her and throw her to the garbage but what about us... in YGGDRASIL not all NPCs were open about my racial traits...and I don't think they will not inspect what is inside that helmet of yours"

"Kukuku, regardless of the outcome I will fool them, but you raise a good point, what will you do Don? I wouldn't mind a little warm up before I take my main act"

The puppets face was facing the knights chest, but if her face could be seen, it would show a grin, with her doll like eyes staring the knights helmet, waiting for his answer

Amamiya / Ragare Lupus

Amamiya stood silent. A contingent of 40 plate armored soldiers are right in from of them, Outnumbered but never outgunned, Amamiya instead had to think about the possibilities on what would have happened if he did this and that, he played with the thought of unleashing his Berserker's Rage upon the 40 fools who confronted them but then he realized how heavy the weight of the consequences that would lay on the three of them. He then toyed thought of a diplomatic way, a way where he would talk to them rather than letting his Berserker state do the hacking and slashing but then he realized he has to stay in character as he doesn't want to show too much emotions.

"I count 40... No... 41..." He thought to himself as he felt the vibrations in the air made by a Rider that was above them, correcting his mistake, Amamiya appears standing there in silence, doing nothing but stare at the 41 defenders of the wall, but in reality he was thinking of the ways on how to deal with this situation right now that was presented on them while his two companions are waiting for his move, but he came to a conclusion.

"I see." Amamiya/Ragare broke the silence that started to surround them alongside the contingent of soldiers, his low brooding voice tells he's not the type who speaks for long.

"Doom Slayer." He added as a reply to the question that was that was asked to them earlier, after a long train of thought he decided to opt to a more diplomatic approach rather than violence as that path would endanger his companions more if he went all out. But then again he has another one in mind, a plan that would hopefully work and get them to safety to the settlement where the soldiers were posted.

"Reire. If it's possible, Raise undead and have them attack us. You, little girl. Assist in anyway possible, Do not Personally attack the soldiers. Let the undead that she raises do and we'll attack the undead to show that we're allies... For now." Amamiya whispered his plan to the two of them.

Hive Emperor| Cantabel & Jaxter |Demon King
Cantabel watched from on high as the ants scurried below, fleeing from the flames he'd made rain down upon them. But there were a handful of ants that thought themselves warrior ants. Not as many as he'd expected, but a few. Surely he'd caused enough of a scene to draw out more than this? Not that he was complaining, it made his job easier, but if his job was too easy his brother would likely run into trouble. He'd need to try a little harder to draw out any more warrior ants still hiding in the nest.

One of the ant's summons approached, but Cantabel recognized it from YGGDRASIL and decided it safe to ignore. When the summon got close, it cast [Greater Gravitational Increase]. So the AI seemed in-line with what he'd expected from the first game, he thought as he let himself fall down and out of the area of effect. [True Flight] His bat-like wings snapped open suddenly and he shot away parallel the ground that raced past only inches below. [Delay Widen Magic Animate Flame]

Now he only had to worry about attacks coming from above, the first of which was a lance of light that was altering its coarse as he did so. Well that was annoying. [Combustion Clone] Cantabel's body split into two, one continuing to fly away while the other turned and took the attack directly. The clone was run through by the lance, and then its form blurred by heat and flame as it exploded violently.

Cantabel made use of that momentary reprieve to return the favor. [Angeyastra] A single flaming arrow, showing none of the destructive power it held within, burst to life in his hand. He set it loose on the magic caster that was shooting off the holy magics. The arrow darted away under its own control as soon as it left his fingers. He could feel himself grinning. Now this was how you do a beta test! He'd have to leave feedback for the devs to flag this area as endgame content though, with the heavy fire he was taking here he doubted a low-level player would last very long.

Three blue-light stars converged on Cantabel as he alighted on the ground closer to the center of the city to look up. He let them get close. Directly above, a series of magic circles formed, glowing with holy light. [True Flight] [Afterburner] Cantabel shot like a rocket directly upward, and the blue suns rose in chase. But directly below, where he'd stood, a magic circle burned to life across the ground. [Delay Widen Magic Brahmastra] A pillar of flame rose up from below as a pillar of holy light came down from above. The blue suns and their target were lost in the river of flames as it met the light.

The light smashed into the fire and the rising column faltered, and then it swelled and burned up and around the light that quickly faded. The flames rushed higher, and the light fell again, and again the flames broke apart and faltered, and again they reformed. The third magic circle flashed in preparation of dropping its charge. The magic circle shattered apart before that happened, a smoldering black figure having cancelled the magic before it could fire. [Boost Magic Counterspell]

Cantabel wheezed with each breath, floating high up in the air, his body lit on one side by the column of flame that connected the ground and sky and burned both. His HP wasn't recovering. That was a problem, but not the biggest one. He still didn't know how to see his MP, but he knew he was burning through it and quickly. Stopping just that last spell had taken far too much MP. Unfortunately, being showy often meant being inefficient.

He turned suddenly as his fiery pillar swayed and bent, something he'd never before witnessed. The stream was being pulled by some force. Cantabel followed the pull to see a radiant figure flying towards him through the flames. Radiant? The figure was glowing, but it was less from some holy light and more from heat, their body seemingly draining the area around her of the flames Cantabel had put so much work into getting just right. Now that was hardly nice. He dismissed the column of flame with a gesture. [Discern Enemy]

[Message] "Hey Jaxter, not to bug you... heh, bug... but the ants out here are actually kind of annoying to deal with. No hurry, but yeah there's a bit of a hurry. If I keep the ones out here distracted much longer I might not have enough MP to get both of us out of here. Just break something noticeable when you're ready to go so I know where to pick you up. Cantabel out, click."

This enemy was strong. Of course Cantabel needn't have bothered with the magic to tell as much, for in the next second the figure spoke aloud and with a single cast spell filled the sky with pointed threats. "Cease your actions!"

The figure's voice spoke female, but that hardly mattered. He was more concerned with the magic she had used. The sight of it was enough to cause Cantabel to break character. "Whoa! That's huge! How many weapons is that? How much MP did you just use!?" He was looking all around excitedly. This was a magic he didn't know. Was it something new to this game, or was it something he hadn't known but that had existed in YGGDRASIL? His cruel red eyes shone like a child that had been shown a new kind of toy. "Amazing! You must tell me how that magic works. Is it racial, from a job? A hidden job maybe? Or is it learned?" He sincerely hoped it was learned, so that he might go about gaining it for himself.

A black veil fell over his mind, and Cantabel snapped back into character. He coughed once. "My apologies, we can speak of that at a later point. It's hardly an appropriate conversation to have while I'm supposed to be burning your city." He raised his hand, and a burning red sun quickly formed and grew there, larger even than him. But he'd allowed himself to drift within range of the enemy's aura, and the fiery orb began to become sucked in. [Pashupatastra] The sun was extinguished like a candle suddenly blown out, leaving a small round husk of cold cinders held in Cantabel's palm. "Are you certain that you chose the right form of attack?" Cantabel spoke to his enemy calmly. "All of those weapons, those powerful, deadly, flaming weapons... I suppose if you missed, those weapons raining down would cause as much destruction below as myself." Cantabel's body was engulfed in flames as he released [Crown of Flames], the burning price he had to pay sucked away by his enemy's aura. "Except if would be worse," his voice hissed like some evil wind speaking in her ear. "Instead of some foreign demon, the deaths would be on your hands. The ants below would have been killed by someone they trusted to keep them safe." He let out a bark of laughter. "In fact, loose your attack! The irony will be cruel and sweet!" Cantabel spread his arms wide as if to embrace her attack, one hand still holding the burnt-out husk of a cold sun, a daring grin on his face.

Jaxter stared blankly up at the woman. His even gaze held nothing of what he may have been thinking, even when she spoke and changed into a monstrous form. When she was done he simply bowed his head shallowly, either in greeting or affirmation to one of her questions there was no way of telling.

[Discern Enemy] A fighter, like himself. He weighed the options of what he would need, deciding that it would be best to move on quickly. Two more enemies came from within the tower, each as strong as the first. He could flee, or he could press forward. These new foes had shown him the way. He switched on a few of his many passives. [Despair Aura] [Demon King's Majesty] That would deal with trash mobs, and doubly deal with any other demons nearby. Other threats were more reinforcements, [Delay Teleportation], and falling into a trap or getting caught unawares [Detect Magic]. The most dangerous enemies didn't only use one way of fighting.

The auras all activated in one rush of evil energy pouring off of what appeared to be nothing more than a human child. He lowered his head, and was saddened to see that the ant he'd let pass has stopped moving. Jaxter leaned back and looked up at the tower. It was tall. [Black Virtue of Sloth] Yet another black aura joined the rest, but where the others fought the mind and soul, this one slowed the body. [Accelerate] [Maximize Legs] While the enemies' reactions were slowed, Jaxter shot towards them, but he didn't move to attack any of them, instead just slipping past without offense. His goal wasn't a fight, it was the door that would lead him inside the tower.

NEIRE & ZYMPHON

"Kuku kuku" the doll giggled after hearing the knights request "playing the pacifist right now Don? This is not the carnage I envi-"

"He is right you know" the small girl interrupted, holding tightly her staff "I don't like the idea of submitting to them right now but I have no clue of where I am... So playing this charade would definitely help us to get a clear picture of our situation"

"I guess you are right..." having lost that argument, Neire lost all her will to do anything and remained motionless "if everything goes well we will get to a village or the settlement from where they come from... and then..." she made sure to do a small gesture with one her hands to the knights armor, making sure to grab his attention "Don the Goblin Slayer, we will have fun together~" she said that without any trace of innocence, after she instructed her npc to release all the raised zombies toward their location, Neire went completely silent, to match her facade of a doll.

"just leave me out of this when we are done" Zymphon sighed as she prepared her staff " after we are done, toss me the puppet, it would be very strange for a knight of your size to be carrying a thing like that unless you were into that fetish" with a smirk on her face, Zymphon hit the floor with her staff, creating small spirits surrounding her.

An Awakening?!

Just as he was more then happy to walts out of this fortress, the sound of a horn was blown. Jimmy sulked as it could mean only one thing, that something terrifying has caught the elves attention. As much wanted to leave, he couldn't help but be curious on what was happening. Immediately he spotted what appeared to be a green aura and there appeared to be a few figures that stood out in the wasteland. Suddenly his attention was diverted back to the elf who accused his holy presence to have summoned something.
"Well I am a popular figure might I say, but regardless I'm sure whatever has appeared can easily be disposed of.......Tho if it's too much for you all to handle I could possibly lend you all a hand. Tho until then I shall watch from the sideline and see how this turns out." He crosses his arms and gives the elf a snarky look.

The Daemonic chapter

Pope Maximilian and Lord Adorable while awaiting for the Smurfs to return along with the Templar, had decided to take it upon themselves to indulge themselves into some culinary cooking. Maximilian is seen wearing his favorite apron in which captions *Kiss the holy pope ;)* and also wearing a chefs hat on top of his pointy pope hat. Lord Adorable is also seen wearing an apron which instead captions *Corn for the Corn gods*. The smell of a sweet aroma fills the kitchen and both couldn't help but sigh in utter relief.
"You know this actually the first time in a while that I've decided to cook a delicious pot of Holy soupey. I haven't cooked such a dish since the creators last battle with that one troll known as 'Chipotley' which is an odd name for a demon in my opinion." Adorable nods, "Yes, such a creature with a delicious sounding name should be allowed to live.........But anyways we should probably hurry with this soup before the others return. I fear that they will cause much of a mess and our lack of volume of Holy soup will more then likely stir them up."

"Hush! You can't rush perfection *plops in a whole onion into the pot*. Besides it'll be about ten minutes before its done. Also we still need to discuss how we will be able to locate our glorious creator! I'm sure that you know better then anyone that mere maps and little information of the world that we are living in will be little help in our search for the creator." A puff of yellow smoke emerges from the pot and the pope reacts with slicing up some carrots and dumping them into the pot. Adorable as if he knew what was the next ingredient, reaches over to what appeared to be skinned headless chicken. He pulls out his battleaxe and starts mincing it up into tinier pieces and allowing the pope to scoop them up and placing them into another bowl containing all sorts of mouth watering spices. "Honestly I gave them those orders so I could speak to you in private. The proposal in my opinion are the few choices that we have in locating the creator tho you may not like it."

Maximilian with both his pope hat and chef hat sulking, had indeed not liked the idea that this was going towards.
"Lord Adorable I respect and look up to you as a holy servant of the creator. Your judgement and decisions have helped this church on numerous occasions. Tho what you are about to propose will more then likely offend me like you've stated but do continue." Adorable pulls out a small drawing and shows it to the pope.

The pope just stares at the picture and sighs,
"You know I honestly to the holy creator don't like this idea. I don't think that summoning them is a good idea, but really I've given up. At this point I'll take whatever step to find the creator. Even if it means summoning our most hated chapter. You have my permission to do so Lord Adorable, but please make sure that the 'she who shall not be named' not be allowed to cause another great fire will you." Lord Adorable smiles and gives the pope a pat on the back before retiring the apron and heading out the kitchen. Suddenly a bright light shoots out of the cooking pot and slowly diminishes, it was finally done. "AHAAAA! At last my Holy soup is finally ready for consumption. Now let me just grab this bowl and-" Before he could grab the ladle the kitchen was suddenly flooded by the Ultra-smurfs and the unholy Templars, thus all hell broke loose in the kitchen. A battle for the soup had begun.

Sigvold

Selvernas sighed at the demons bluff the show of power was supposed to disarm the situation, but if he was talking about MP, Racials and jobs... that means he was player. Does he still think this is a game? She supposed that if someone only thought they were going to respawn they wouldnt surrender. Looks like he was going to learn the hard way, through pain. "I am afraid i have counter measures against that. [Greater Arena] [Randgrid's Shield]" All skills from the Shield Lord job, two things happened. A flash of light surrounded them only to show that they were now in a spherical arena that kept any enemies inside and the destruction of any aoe attacks to stay within. [Randgrid's Shield] forced any attacks from the targeted enemy to affect her and her only. Summoning a large shield to her side she pointed it at him and snaped her fingers. The weapons that blanketed the skies flew downward toward the sphere, passing it without effort.

The various blades, polearms, axes, and greatweapons did not hesitate as they flew at their target Selvernas controlling them directly and targetting at the demons limbs, to submit and incapacitate the man. Selvernas was casting various resistances to herself, drinking mana potions to help with the mana upkeep everything was taking which was making her mana drop fast. However if her mana were to actually drop to zero and she wasnt able to maintain her weapons she still wouldn't be in a very perilous predicament, the arena will still stay up as it was a skill, and not magic, as well as Randgrid's shield. The only thing that would take a hit was her dps potential with all her weapons being sicked on him, even then she supposed that she could take him on an a 1v1 duel, seeing how he had used so many spells coming into the city already.

The various NPC's down below were confused at what had just happened, the lower leveled npc's lost control of themselves and started attacking each other while the higher leveled ones were attempting to stop them from doing it, all the while a fire storm blew into the city. But in almost an instant they had stopped and all the fires that were once raging flew upward, following the fires they looked up in awe at their leader, Lady Selvernas, the lead lord of Insomnia and Sigvold shining brightly in the sky.

"Doomslayer?" The leader looked back to his men as they gave a glance toward him before looking back at the darkness beyond for any threats and the leader turned back to the pair. "Why are you here? what are you doing? And what about you?" He gestured to the child.

"Undead! To the south!" The leader looked off to the south, and indeed he saw slight silhouettes amidst the dark of the wasteland and the luminarks light. "Form a line!" Almost robotically the soldiers went from their square formation into a double line of sorts with one man behind the other, the front line was crouched and the back line stood, they pointed their halberds toward where the enemy should be. The light from the mountain shifted southward as if responding to the soldiers new formation, the leader looked back at the suspicious strangers wondering, and mildly fearing, what they were going to do.

Nyamiko
Not So Quiet on the Northern Front
"Pardon me?" Nyamiko could barely believe it, even as she appeared to simply be napping on Ichi's lap as they sat on a bench at the city's market. After making an excuse to stop playing with her new playmates in the form of 3 rather friendly children, she went to answer an urgent Message from Niiko. It seems that Sigvold came under attack from... Someone. They referred to themselves as a Demon King and Nyamiko could only internally groan from such an announcement. That and the fact that Nemo's interrogation will be put on hold as he seems to be leading the effort in repelling the invaders. As for what the Kitsune was doing, she had bolted back to Yoshiwara and was busy awaiting orders with the rest.

"What should we do, Mistress?! They broke the wall an-"
"THEY WHAT?!" Nyamiko almost bolted up from her position on Ichi's lap. To the NPC's credit, he was remaining calm on the whole ordeal by the slight wriggling he felt under Nyamiko's clothes meant only one thing. His Creator was literally rippling with rage. Taking that signal, he calmly carried her and made way to the closest alley. "I am on my way back now. To think I was in a good mood... As for you, I have orders for you to relay to the rest. Assist in damage control and ensuring the safety of the other NPCs. As for Go, have him support Lady Selvernas. I am certain she would be starting her counter-offensive. Ichi shall join you all once we have arrived."

"What about you, Mistress?" Niiko asked over the Message spell. As of that moment, Nyamiko had prepared the two [Greater Teleportation] scrolls and handed one over to Ichi, both already clad in their armour and ready for battle. As she opened the scrolls after Ichi gave her the all clear, her eyes narrowed and burned with spite.

"I'm going to defend Iovallr. And those invaders best hope they never step foot while I'm inside." In a flash, both of them vanished as they teleported back to Sigvold. Before they knew it, they were standing before Iovallr and they looked around in shock. So much chaos, a great hole in Sigvold's proud walls, and scorched streets and buildings. But that's not what has them shocked. They were staring up at awe as Selvernas showed her full might for all to see in the skies above.

"Is that...?" Ichi started as gazed upon the scene with awe. Nyamiko simply nodded, a small smile forming as she watched the woman she swore undying loyalty to after losing a duel to fight in defense of their new home. "Yes... That is our Illustrious Leader... Now go, Ichi! We have much to do!"

"Right! Best of luck, Aneue!" Ichi bode before he dashed off through the charred streets. As for Nyamiko, she simply used her Guild Mark and teleported into Iovallr's entrance hall. To her relief, the door was intact so she stood there, mentally preparing herself for battle. Her left hand grasping Senketsu's scabbard as she took measured breaths. For some reason, she started thinking about her own NPCs. Compared to the others who went nuts with making powerful minions, hers were relatively low leveled. Ichi, the strongest one, is merely level 60. While she initially didn't want to disturb the limited levels given for NPC creation, a part of her knew that her real reasoning was so that she didn't trust her own programming to ensure utmost loyalty.

"..... I'll have to apologize one day..." Nyamiko muttered as she heard voices coming in relatively close to the door along with an odd presence coming close. And fast. Her sword hand gripped the handle of her sword as she stood ready. "If we live... I'll apologize...."

Amamiya / Ragare Lupus
Argent Combat
Petroshka Petroshka , Asagi Asagi

"I See." Amamiya/Ragare said before Dropping off the Doll by Zymphon's side, He impales his sword of annihilation on the ground before walking towards the south with nothing but his fists. Hearing some of the protests from the soldiers, he did not heed their sayings for he did not care as it would ruin what he has planned to do. Earn their trust and build their reputation in order to find out where they are exactly. Fortunately for him, the companions he was with agreed with him.

"1...2...3...4..." Amamiya began to count how many undead that Reire raised to head towards them to attack and concluded that it was a size of a attack party, nothing compared to the heart of the undead swarm that he initially fought with the doll.

"..30. more than enough... let's go." Amamiya said to himself as he walks towards the advancing horde of the summoned undead.

He began to channel his Anger and frustrations into his fists as he left the Blade by Zymphon's side, showing off to the Wall Guardians that he can take them all on despite how outnumbered he is. Cracking his fists as he walked in front of their formation without any care, Amamiya had to brace himself from losing control temporarily as he knows he gets too much into slaughtering groups of targets.

[Quad Damage]
Power began to overwhelm him, channeling his rage, his fists tightened as a red aura began to envelope his arms, his eyes glowed red as the vengeance inside of him gets awakened, albeit powering his ability. It was not long until his fists smashed an undead into meaty chunks, old blood splattering all over the Abyssal Knight and on the ground, but before the eyes of the soldiers, the blood spilled onto the knight's armor suddenly disappears, little do they know that his armor absorbs the blood of his foes and heals him for a substantial amount of health. It was a symphony of carnage, Amamiya/Ragare slaughters the summoned undead with nothing but his fists and legs or their weapons to hit all at once. Limbs, organs, flesh and blood painted the area red, he was completely into it, flesh and bones met with a force of a heavy metal plate, splattering their decaying remains all over the battlefield as the wall guardians watch. It was nothing but disgusting glory kills with Amamiya/Ragare ripping them apart with only his bare hands.

Nearly 15 Seconds has passed, the carnage ended as Amamiya went back to a normal state with some assistance from Zymphon and from the shadows, Reire, his armor still black as the abyss as the blood spilled on it was absorbed by the armor's active effect, reinvigorating him which stops him from getting exhausted nor losing his hitpoints, that is if that system still exists in this new world. Ending the undead's resurrected life with a powerful stomp, crushing its skull and spilling out its insides with a heavy metallic thud before walking back towards the Wall guardians after showing a performance of barbaric cruelty, none of the undeath stood before The Dark Knight, The Doom Slayer and the monster that he is.

"This... is what I do." Ragare spoke as he walked back to where the Soldiers and his companions are, his tall sature and glowing red visor emitting an after image of a red flame was intimidating enough to see.

"All I do is kill those who are the slaves of doom." He Added. It was all quiet in the wasteland front, save for the heavy footsteps made by Amamiya/Ragare as he walks back to The Captain and the rest of his companions.

Upon hearing the broadcast message, Five of ten figures residing within the Great Forge's winked from existence. Without disturbing the air or even senses of the Supreme Being, the Five stepped forward, as if already having been there. "It seems someone is asking for death." Alexandru stated, behind Nemo, getting a sadistic giggle from his Sister Selena.

"Honestly Brother, Could you really complain. I've been so bored since coming to this world." Selena replied, twirling the wicked looking dagger that each of them bore, Itching to enter the fray. She knew Alexandru was as well, despite his well composed demeanor.

"And Look dear sister! Niiko Is Here to Play." The twins added with excitement, waltzing over to their partner in crime, only to be stopped by their brother Georg.

"You can play with your Friend After! We have people to hurt~" The Brutish of the five purred Drawing the large blade and dagger, both aglow with the fires of the forge. The others did so in response, although the twins seemed to pout for but a moment before cackling with malevolent intent.

"Lord Nemo, Where do you need us? Who's blood shall we spill for the Guild and out master?!" Alexandru asked, excitement tinging his tone at the prospect of combat.

Meanwhile, five other Legionaries charged in to Iovallir, stopping before Nyamiko. Wordlessly, they snapped a crisp salute then drew their masterfully crafted blades, forming a line before the mistress of Yoshiwara. Despite lacking their captain's skills, they made great time, ready for the carnage.
