BloodWolfRising

Dame of the Moon's Darkness
Roleplay Type(s)
Current Weather: A blizzard moved in overnight.

Ivan - 6yrs - Alpha - Telepathy

Ivan had noticed the shift in the weather in the middle of the night, he had gotten up and woken the pack moving wolves from their normal dens and cramming them together. A cold front was moving in, and there was no telling how bad this one was going to be. He had decided to sleep at the front of his den so that his larger body could possibly help block out more of the cold. He shivered slightly before opening his eyes, he already felt the snow touching his nose and paws. As his brown eyes opened he noticed that the snow had almost sealed off the opening to the den, only a small portion of the sun was breaking through the front of his den. He stood shaking his coat to try and warm his body further, before glancing back to those in his den. He hoped the others were okay and that their dens hadn't been fully sealed.

Jeena - 10yrs - Elder - Memory Projection
Jeena whined in her sleep, not only was the cold biting into her old bones, she was stuck in her nightmares once again. Her whines turned to growls as her body twisted to fight her enemy that wasn't there. To others, it probably looked like she was having some sort of seizure. Her eyes snapped open as she panted breaking free of the terrors of her past, her green eyes landed on her son who had been watching her for some time. There was a clear look of worry on his face, but he didn't bother asking what was wrong. "Are you okay now?" Jeena nodded slowly, "Cold, didn't sleep well...but alive." Zane nodded, "Okay..." Jeena felt bad for her son as he was often worried about her and since the moon fell her world had become more nightmare-filled. "When I am ready to talk I will, now you should get out of here with Todd and scout out the area since it has suddenly turned to winter." Zane nodded, doing as his mother suggested.

Zane - 4yrs - Scout - Water Manipulation
He stood stretching his muscles before walking over to the slightly covered entrance of the den. The snow was cold on his paws, but he didn't mind, in fact, he enjoyed the cold more than the heat. "I'll be back then mother if we are lucky we will be able to locate some prey for the hunters." Though as he went to knock the snow out of the way his newfound water powers decided it was the perfect time to form pools of water under his paws, turning the cold snow into an icy slush. He went sailing out of the den entrance probably waking up everyone as he yelped, why was this happening! In his panic more water formed under his paws sending him spinning past the other dens and into a nearby tree with another yelp.

Kovi - 4yrs - Hunter - Sensory Tracking
Kovi had left the dens just before the snow happened, he hadn't liked how stuffed it had felt sleeping with the others and didn't mind the cold. Though if he were to admit it, this cold front had seemed far colder than the last one that had swooped in. What woke him was a yelp that came from under the den he had been sleeping on top of, much to his surprise Zane came flying or should he say sliding out of the den. He began to chuckle slightly as the male wolf began to spin in circles, terror marring the poor wolf's face before he hit a tree. Kovi flinched slightly at the thunking noise before jumping down and padding over to Zane's side looking at the wolf as he shook his head. "You just wanted to start the morning out with a slam didn't you?" He asked with a slight smirk making Zane growl lightly, "I am not in the mood for your puns Kovi...It's these stupid powers..." Kovi chuckled, "Sorry, sorry, but you did hit that tree pretty hard you okay?" Zane stood, finally shaking the dizziness from his head, "Yeah, just my pride hurt that someone saw the full extent of that." Kovi nodded, "Well if you ever get full control over your water powers that could actually be fun." Zane frowned, "I highly doubt that."

Rima - 4yrs - Pack Mother - Silent Move
Rima rested in the den with a few others and the Alpha who was already up, she stood carefully, trying not to wake up Ivory. A yawn escaping her before padding towards the entrance of the den, "Good morning Alpha." She said staring at the snow that covered most of the den opening. "Morning Rima..." "Shall we venture out? See what damage was done?" Ivan nodded, but they both paused as a spinning furball flew past the entrance before Kovi's voice was heard talking to Zane. Rima chuckled slightly, "Already starting the morning in a lively manner." "Yes, hopefully, they will keep being in high spirits..." She helped Ivan knock the snow out of the way before turning to glance at Ivory who had still been sleeping but was probably awake now to Rima's warmth leaving her side.

Lili - 3yrs - Loner - Enhanced Touch
Lili shivered, curling her tail around her more firmly. The cold had moved in so fast that she hadn't been able to look for a better place to get out of the snow's reach. She was literally halfway crammed in the hollow of a tree. Her tail was thankfully long enough and fluffy enough to keep her face warm. She wanted to sleep more, but she knew staying out in the open like this was bad. Especially if there were any other predators in the area, she had already had a rough encounter with a fox a few days ago. Still had the bites to prove it, but she had won, then again before the snow had moved in it had been summer... Lili at least knew that the way the world was now, was wrong. Not that she could fix it, even if she wanted to. Even as she laid there she could feet movement from something about half a mile from her. Its movements were heavy, which made her think it was either a bear or some big form of prey she wouldn't be able to take down by herself. She groaned wanting to be able to remove her paws from the ground fully but knew there was no way she could just wiggle along the ground to get where she was going. "Why..." She growled looking up to the skies like they could answer her. She knew she was close to a pack, but she had simply been watching them. Now that the cold had moved in there was even less of a chance for her to possibly try and see if she could maybe join their pack.

Alpine
The moment the bright sun beamed into her face, Alpine huffed. So much for sleeping. Pushing up to her paws with a stretch, she glanced over at the entrance to see snow outside. Making her way over to the opening and poking her head outside. "So much snow." Disgust heard heavily in her tone. Alpine never really liked the snow. It was too cold and too wet for her liking. So with each paw, she lifted them up high in hopes she didn't get her fur wet but unfortunately it didn't help. The cold wind picked up and some light dusting coated her fur. A sharp shiver caused the ends of the fur to spike up. Ears flatten against her head. Shaking her fur, Alpine looked around. Seeing some dens having snow blocking the entrances, she carefully pawed over to one before turning her head over to Ivan. "There's a few dens over here blocked with snow." Calling out to him before trying to start digging away the snow.

Ivory
A sudden blast of cold air woke Ivory up with a shock. Looking around, Rima wasn't next to her like she was when Ivory went to sleep. Rushing to her paws, Ivory raced outside not realizing there's snow. The moment all four paws touched the snow, Ivory skipped to a spot only to take a tumble into a snow pile. She pushed her way out of the pile and looked around. Everything was covered in white. Being the very first time Ivory has seen such a thing, all she wanted to do is explore. Having fur black as night, she stood out against the white snow. But then a branch limb got too heavy with snow and dumped it all onto her catching her by surprise thinking something attacked her. "Rima! Ivan!" Ivory sprinted towards them just covered in snow, nose to tail. "Something just attacked me!" She whimpered.

Apex

The cold air tore into Apex's body, like an icy hand clawing in. The black wolf awoke with a snarl while stretching her paws out. Being a loner was tough but being a loner in freakishly cold weather made it worse. Her golden eyes scanned the area slowly to see if there was any new tracks to take for a hunt or if there was danger close. She gave a snort as another blast of cold wind ran across her face in a taunting way. "Already starting the day in that way are we?" she questioned to no one in particular, shaking off the snow that was now collecting along her back. Without any sense of direction or knowing Apex began her unknown journey to where she could smell what seemed to be small game. Perhaps rabbit or even a mole. Though her guard was up for run ins with other predators and even other packs. She wasn't too sure how friendly the packs would be now with loners after the moon fell but she wasn't going to find out.

'Though it might be time to start thinking of joining a pack if the opportunity arises.'

Todd
The sound of commotion slowly but surely stirred Todd from his sleep. Opening his eyes, he looked around the den and saw his breath coming out in large, frosty plumes; had it snowed overnight? Todd stood and gave himself a hearty stretch as he padded towards the mouth of his den. Before him, nearly packed to the top of the opening, was a dense wall of snow. Upon further investigation, there was a small space near the top, but as small as he was, Todd couldn't be certain he would fit through it. Not that he had much other choice, that is.

Todd backed up until his tail brushed the back wall of the den, bracing himself for cold, cold impact. With a deep breath aimed to steady himself, Todd took a running leap towards the wall of snow, aiming for the hole near the top. Sunlight bathed his face in an instant. He was free of his icy prison! Only he wasn't. At all. As the small, tawny colored wolf tried to stand up, he realized that his hind legs were still kicking up snow, inside the den. It seemed that for the moment, Todd was stuck. If only his water manipulation let him manipulate snow, too.

Moon
The cold was something that Moon had become accustomed to in the more recent days of her life. When the moon fell, she found herself with the new and unique ability to wield the power of ice. However, given the current weather, she was sure that her powers had no use to her packmates. Removing the small hump of snow from outside her den had been no trouble for her and the fair furred fighter found herself trotting through the snowy terrain with little trouble. Her blue eyes scanned the surroundings, her ears perked as she looked over the wolves who had pushed their way out of their dens by now. Her eyes landed on Ivory. The pup seemed frantic, tearing across the frozen ground towards the den mother. and what was that she had said? Something attacked her?

Pups were always getting into trouble and exaggerating, but Moon decided that it wouldn't do any harm to check out exactly what Ivory had experienced. She made her way delicately through the snow, closing the gap between herself and the pup.

"Excuse me, dear," her voice cold and level, an unnatural amount of breath billowing from her snout, "what was that you said about being attacked?"

▔▔▔▔▔▔▿▔▔▔▔▔▔
Pebble
Large grey paws pushed hard against the hill of snow that had piled itself up overnight. Pebble stood in the entrance of the den, smoke billowing out from his mouth and nose, mixing with his frozen breath. A wolf of few words, the lead hunter padded his way carefully over to the spanning ice trail that Zane had left behind. Bending his head, the great grey wolf parted his jaws and attempted to use his new fire breathing powers to melt the safety hazard, but only succeeded in a large mote of flame that melted the snow, singed his whiskers and blew him back a few inches.

Corvo

Standing at the entrance of his den, Corvo let his eyes scan his surroundings, as he watched the others slowly rise from the sleeping. He had a hard time falling asleep, and when he did it seemed even harder to stay asleep, as every noise felt unbearable loud.

Picking up a few words here and there, he focused on the brown wolf who looked like he had too much energy for a cold and icy morning like this one, and yet, he couldn’t help the small chuckle from passing his lips as the younger one collided with a tree, leaving behind an icy trace.

Some movement from the corner of his eye made Corvo turn his head to watch his Alpha. Maybe he should go and hear what he got to say? Not that there would be many new things, but Corvo started to shiver from sitting on the snow and so, he lifted himself up, gave his fur a shake, and pated over to Ivan.
Good morning Alpha.” His voice sounded rougher than anticipated.

Aphelios - 6yrs - Scout - Mind Games
Art by Kipine on DeviantArt
y.jpgAphelios had spent the entirety of the night burrowed in the deepest and farthest corner from the entrance of a den a tad too large for just one resident sleeper. His back faced the entrance as a pair of sleepless violet eyes stared at nothing. It was dark and quiet. Where Aphelios once reveled in solitude, he had now grown to despise it. Silence was just another louder level of noise for him. A noise of the mind. He refused to look around the room; a pang of guilt and shame churning in his stomach at the possibility of seeing her if he did. The night had felt eternal. He gave up trying to sleep hours ago and so he occupied his mind with other things one would think about in the darkest of hours; the things he said, the things he hadn’t said, things he wished he said.

The pack’s morning chorus did not fail to break his endless chains of thoughts. The early soft tendrils of dawn illuminated the gloomy den. Aphelios couldn’t be more relieved to hear live voices, snow shuffling and the paw steps of his pack mates commencing a chaotic routine to match the unwelcome discord that was their new home. The snow was indeed another unexpected surprise during the summer as was the blizzard he sensed that would eventually be underway. Now more than ever, Aphelios had felt useless in his role as scout. He had to drop his existing knowledge of weather patterns and the usual signs left by nature and learn almost from scratch. He was sure he wasn’t the only wolf in this predicament.

Luckily, the entrance to his den was only snowed in barely half-way. Sturdy paws steadily managed to dig himself out into the light, carrying some warmth to his currently dull features. The worn scout shifted into a tall readied stance, assessing the pack’s current situation. It was an understatement to say that the others were merely surprised at what they’ve awoken to. Small accidents were already unraveling as the wolves had to deal with their inner changes as much the external ones. Aphelios finally pinpointed his superior in distress; rump buried in snow as if his den were to comically swallow him in. He approached Todd with a drawn smirk. “Morning sir. You sure you want to go out? There’s quite the meltdown happening.” His head gestured towards a frantic child and a not so jolly Zane dashing through the snow. “Although I suppose you could use some of that too.” Humour was mostly Irina’s thing ( and she was much better at it ), but one cannot help but partially adopt part of their partner’s mannerisms or traits after so long. Aphelios quickly leaned in to dig Todd out of his sticky situation. Although he wouldn’t have minded watching his boss being a damsel in distress for a little longer. He didn’t feel particularly inclined to help straight away. It’s just he didn’t want him to notice the gloom in his gaze as he started to think about her, again.

RAVII/FIGHTER/CALMING

A howl rang out from a short distances away announcing Ravii's presences. He was still shaking the snow from his fur, his mood in no better condition than it always was. Like Kovi the brooding fighter wolf had left the den to avoid the snuggle of bodies. Ravii rang out a few more howls to stir the pack, as well as send a message to any loners within ear shot. The fighter wolf was not the welcoming type. With the scent of loners wandering closer to the territory it made him more hostile and alert. Things may have been easier if he could get Navarii to focus on something other than picking fights. Speaking of his pack mate, he spotted the trouble maker stalking behind Pebble. Ravii knew when the other was up to no good. It would be a lie if he claimed to say he avoided such things. The grey wolf gave a final stretch, then headed down hill to join his friend.

NAVARRI/FIGHTER/HYSTERIA

There was no need for any powers to make others feel trouble in the air, his presences was enough on his own. Today's target of intrest, the packs fearless lead fighter. "Wow." Navarii mocked amazement at Pebble's attempt to use his new mutation. It was a misplaced mockery, as Navarri had no control over his own power. The young fighter trotted alongside Pebble's purposely bumping into him. "So what's the game plan for today? Make our rounds or would you rather snuggle up all day practicing that terrible excuse of a power." Navarri always lacked tact, but he was never to serious with his jabs. "I'm sure Ravii wouldn't mind cuddling up." His teases now shifted away from the leader and to the other fighter of the pack.

Ravii was unfazed by Navarri's antics, greeting Pebble with a scowl, the same greeting he gave everyone.

Apex

The black wolf's head picked up as she heard a howl in the distance. A warning for loners like her to stay away from the territory. Her tongue licked her muzzle clean of the blood from the fresh hunt that she had just provided and soon Apex took a step closer to the sound. It was dangerous indeed to tread on a packs territory without permission and she knew it would be a death sentence. One half is telling Apex to steer clear of the pack and to move away from the sound to find land, while the other half wants to go investigate and just see what this pack was like. With a small snort she began to slowly make her way to where the howl was, but keeping a far distance away to not be spotted by any scouts or fighters. This was just a investigation, nothing more nothing less. It's not going to hurt to see what this pack was like and if she needed retreat quickly. Always know your surroundings, a rule she has been living by since she was a pup.

Ivory
Hearing Moon, the young pup slowed down to a stop causing some of the snow on her back to slide off. Only small bits clung to her black fur. It almost looked like a thing white layer of fur. Slightly tilting her snow covered head towards Moon, "Over by that tree," pointing with her tail, "I was standing where that pile of white stuff is when I got jumped on." Glancing back, there was a pile about a paw length taller than Ivory with an imprint of where she was in the middle. Looking back up at Moon, some of the snow dust trinkle onto her nose causing her to sneeze a little shaking her head allowing the snow on her head to fall. Being the first winter she is experiencing, Ivory really didn't understand all this white stuff. All she started to know was that it's cold, wet and it stuck to everything it touched. Despite the little of time she's been out in it so far today, Ivory wasn't sure what she thought of it.

Ivan - 6yrs - Alpha - Telepathy
Ivan chuckled as Ivory went running out of the den, she was excited as ever before she slid across the snow much like Zane had. "Be careful Ivory!" Rima said but it was already too late snow puffed into the air as the young pup hit a pile of it and the black pup vanished for a few seconds before appearing once more. Then much to the pup's horror snow fell from a lower hanging branch falling on top of her. Rima and Ivan both did their best not to laugh at the scared pup as she darted for the two of them saying something attacked her. Ivan shook his head slightly, before turning to look at the other dens. He turned his head when Corvo greeted him, "Good morning Corvo, did you sleep well?"
dailyrain dailyrain

Rima - 4yrs - Pack Mother - Silent Move
Rima padded over licking the rest of the snow away from Ivory's fur, "Oh a big bad monster attacked you? Did you defeat it ?" She asked jokingly until Moon came up asking what had attacked the pup. She held a rather serious expression on her face, "Good morning Moon also it was simply snow that attacked her from the trees. Nothing you have to worry about." Doing what she could reassure the fighter, "You know how pups can be...plus the stories Todd tells the pups can make their imaginations run even more wild than normal." She said sitting on her haunches with a small smile, "Besides, if there had been something of a threat that close we would have smelled it by now."

Zane - 4yrs - Scout - Water Manipulation
Zane was quick to his paws, when he saw the alpha, he hoped to the moon that Ivan hadn't just seen his tumble in the snow. Though when Ivory ended up doing something a tad similar to him he felt a bit better. Until Kovi opened his mouth, "Looky there...you just wanted to be a pup again didn't you Zane. Looks like you and Ivory have a lot in common, you going to freak out if snow falls on you too?" Zane growled, "Would you shut up Kovi...you make my life hell..." Kovi smirked as he sat down, his tail swaying behind him mischievously, "Well that is my job." Zane's frown grew, "Your job isn't to torment me..." Kovi chuckled, before standing and stretching, "Oh but it is because your reactions are fun!" He padded off before Zane could respond leaving Zane in a bit of a huff. "Why is he always like that..." His attention shifted to Pebble who attempted to use his power only for them to backfire quite literally. "Glad I'm not the only one suffering from these powers." He got up walking over to grey wolf sat, "You okay?"
ObitoPancake ObitoPancake

Kovi - 4yrs - Hunter - Sensory Tracking
Kovi headed to Corvo and Ivan, "GOOD MORNING!!!" He said in an ever cheery voice. Yes, he had to be the happiest wolf alive right about now, with the fresh snow, his powers of tracking things weren't overpowering him. It was almost like they didn't even exist at this point. Of course, it could mean that with snow his powers would be a tad useless, or at least until he got full control over them. Honestly, he did fine without using his tracking power, if anything it was getting in the way. After all, if he stepped on something left behind by multiple deer, then he got extremely mixed up. So, currently not having to worry about that was a much-welcomed feeling.

Lili - 3yrs - Loner - Enhanced Touch
"Oh...something else is nearby..." Whatever it was had lighter steps than the creature before, but still carried weight. Now it seemed there were smaller movements around as well and Lili groaned, "Is it even possible to get this kind of power under control?" She growled, each step she took made her wish she could fly instead. "Wings would have been so cool...well...maybe not if I couldn't control them. But...maybe they would have been easier to handle than this. This just messes with me...especially when hunting..." The snow at least dampened the feel of movements around her, but it was still there. She pressed her paws more firmly into the snow looking for the movement that had felt similar to another wolf or at least she hoped was another wolf. She honestly hadn't run into any other wolves so she didn't even know if they had gotten powers as well. Though she couldn't see any possible reason for her to be the only one to have gained powers, especially one's like hers, there had to be about a million more useful powers than hers. "It's time to take a chance though...maybe it is a wolf...or maybe it's something that I may have to fight to save my life from. I guess it could be both, I shouldn't expect another wolf to accept my company." She groaned again heading towards the movement she had felt, hoping it was friendly.

Alpine
After cleaning the few dens, Alpine shakes her fur to get rid of any snow that may have fallen. At least now everyone that she knows of is able to get in and out of the dens. From digging so much snow, her paws were compacted with snow. Alpine sighed looking down at them. She hated having chunks of ice and snow between her paw pads. It always felt uncomfortable to her. Closing her eyes, the female wolf took her mind off that and focused on more important matters. Pawing her way over to Ivan, she noticed that Todd was stuck trying to get out of his den. Alpine turns her full attention to him and his situation. Grinning, she couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "Looks like you could use some help there, friend." She slowly makes her way over to him.

Ivory
Looking up at Rima after the older female licked away the snow, Ivory grinned. "It may have gotten a surprise jump on me but I outran it!" Her tail curled a little in excitement. Her once scared face quickly turned into excitement. Hearing Rima say the word snow, she tried to repeat it. "S...Sn...ow. Snow? Is that what all this white stuff is?" Whatever this snow is, it was like nothing she ever witnessed before. Everywhere she looked was covered in white and also very bright with the sun shining. Her blue eyes wide with wonder and amazement. Lowering her muzzle to the snow, she sniffed it. While sniffing the snow, Ivory smelt something very faint. Curiosity took over and she slowly followed the scent. Maybe it was an animal that passed by late at night. Ears perked with her nose to the ground, Ivory made sure she stayed in sight of the adults. Or at least tried to.

Todd
Looking between Aphelios and Alpine, the lead fighter felt a warm embarrassment wash over his pelt, enough to make him flatten his ears. It wasn't really his fault that he was so small and prone to not being able to do things the same way the rest of his packmates were able to. Though it made him less physically inclined than his packmates, it did make him more lithe, which happened to be the exact reason why he was chosen as lead scout. If only that lean litheness could have kept him from getting stuck in the snow.

"Thank you both for the help," he huffed as he gave one last large push with his hind legs, sending him flying out of the snowdrift and out into the open air.

He stood and shook the snow off his fur before turning his attention to Aphelios.

"I don't think we really have a choice, "
the small tawny wolf's voice had a grave tinge to it, and for a moment his eyes seemed to darken with worry. "On the other paw, this is the perfect opportunity for us to stretch our legs and try these new powers out, right?"

Moon
Moon simply flicked her ear in response, seeming to think about what Rima had said. She was right, of course; if anything had been coming they would have smelled it well before the beast would have been able to get near Ivory or any of the other wolves. Perhaps she was more on edge than she had originally thought. The white wolf dipped her head respectfully to the Pack Mother.

"Of course, you're correct. I suppose that everything has simply put me much more on guard than I thought."

Pebble
By the gods did that sting. What use was a power that, without proper honing, could singe the fur right off his face? Pebble furrowed his brow and gave a small snarl to himself as he recovered from the fireball he had just unleashed on the snow. He was dazed, that was for sure, but Navarri's jeering was not helping him recover faster. The mighty grey wolf turned his head to his packmate with a small warning snarl.

"Watch your tongue, Nvarri."

He knew the young fighter was only joking; the not-so-malicious jabs from him were nothing new. But Pebble felt more than obligated to keep his authority and dignity in tact, even in the midst of the grandiose embarassment he had just undergone. His eyes were narrowed and his stance was firm, but ultimately non-threatening. He had been ready to continue his back and forth with the light grey fighter until Zane trotted up beside him.

"Good morning," he gave a curt nod to the scout, "these powers are more of a curse than a blessing. I'll be fine, I think my whiskers are still mostly in tact."

Apex - Earth Manipulation

The pack was further out than expected from Apex. She took a break while still making sure that she was away from giving her scent away with how the wind was blowing. Her front paw dug gently at the snow to leave a small mark for her to know where she had been. 'All this white makes things look the same. How I long for the snow to melt and the grass to grow. I prefer the land around me to be more lively than asleep.' The wind seemed to pick up as if it was offended by Apex's thought and she pushed her head into her shoulders to protect herself from the cold nip. How the black wolf wasn't fond of the cold nor how it had a nasty bite when it wanted to. It annoyed her and with her new powers it seemed to also make things a bit harder to manipulate due to things being covered under a blanket of snow. It would be something to keep in mind if she was to be in a fight, not that she really understood how her powers worked to begin with but something to keep note.

A crunch sound caught Apex ear, close and slightly heavy. A predator? Her body quickly turned around and she spread herself out in a defensive position. With how the world has changed since the fall of the moon she was not taking any chances with being snuck up on by a wild beast. Even those that she use to hunt were now aggressive and dangerous. With ears pinned back and teeth barred she gave out a low rumble growl warning whatever was coming up that she was alert and knew it was there. "Show yourself! Do not make this hard and you will not be harmed!" she announced. Apex liked to give whoever she would fight at least a chance to surrender first. Most of the time it worked but sometimes she would fight.

Corvo

Despite the howling wind, ringing in my ears, I managed to get a decent amount of sleep.” Corvo huffed out before he bowed his head in an apologetic way. He didn’t mean to rant to his Alpha, when he probably had to deal with things much worse than this. “I’m sorry. I hope you got some-“ His raspy voice got interrupted by one, far more cheerful than his, and as he turned to face the intruder, he gave the younger one a stern look. Not because he was being inappropriate, but because his voice sounded much louder than usual.

Corvo should be delighted by his powers and yet they only caused him headaches. For once, he wanted all the noises to stop. “Good morning.. Kovi.” Corvo raised his head a little, in an attempt to stretch his body. “Seems like we don’t need to worry about your well-being. It's good to see you doing just fine” His words were genuine.

Rima - 4yrs - Pack Mother - Silent Move
"Yes, snow is usually a really nice thing to have, but as of late I am not sure I welcome it as I used to." She watched as Ivory explored in curiosity, "Try not to go too far Ivory." She could easily track the pup down once she finished talking with Moon, "Also Moon, there is no need to bow your head to me, I think you are of much more value and deserve my respect instead. You and your brother work the hardest I have ever seen to keep the pack well guarded. I can barely fight against anyone..." She said returning a slight bow to Moon with a soft smile.

Zane - 4yrs - Scout - Water Manipulation
"Well, that's good at least." It partly made him glad his power was water and not fire. Then again there had been more than a couple of times he had almost drown himself last night while he had been sleeping. "There has to be some sort of way to make these blasted powers work properly that doesn't take long." He said with a slight frown, he honestly had barely even noticed that Navarri was there as well. If he were, to be honest, the wolf kind of scared him with his strange humor and pranks. Zane couldn't really understand Navarri, it was like watching something foreign walk among the pack members causing little, sometimes big problems. And don't even get him started on Ravii, that was simply a wolf he tried to stay out of the way of.

Kovi paused, "Oh, sorry, Corvo forgot your power increases your hearing...." He said lowering his voice having noticed the stern look. But he nodded when Corvo said he was well, "Yes, it seems with the snow my power is somewhat muted which is nice. With the snow, I should be at the top of my hunting game again! At least until I can get these tracking powers under control. Also sorry if I was being rude Alpha. I didn't mean to interrupt." "That's alright Kovi, at this point, I do believe any of us would be excited if our powers felt like they didn't exist." Kovi nodded, "They should have come with a book of guidance."

Ivan - 6yrs - Alpha - Telepathy
Ivan chuckled, "That would have been far too simple and you know it. And despite all the problems they are causing right now, I am sure once we get them under control we will have less to worry about when it comes to the more aggressive predators." He knew why it was so irritating to end up with all these random powers because he had already slipped into the minds of a few of the wolves as was. Sadly they had all been times when he had been talking to himself about some things that were bothering him. Now a few of the wolves knew about his full plan to head into human territory for possible better shelter. Those who knew before the rest of the pack were Corvo, Alpine, and Pebble, but he wasn't sure if they agreed with his line of thoughts. It was something he was still thinking about, but also something he planned to bring up in a discussion here soon.

Lili - 3yrs - Loner - Enhanced Touch
"I-I'm not a threat..." She honestly hadn't expected to come across the other so quickly but with the other movements, she was pretty sure she had lost track of her original target and was simply walking. "I had no wish to sneak up on you at all, simply wanted to see if it was another wolf I was sensing. It seems I was correct." She said stepping out from behind a couple of trees, "It's nice to meet you...or at least I hope it is. I didn't come looking to fight unless I must." Her silver and white coat shining against the snow as she moved closer to the other wolf, but not too close. "I have to say finally meeting another wolf face to face is a bit strange."

Jeena - 10yrs - Elder - Memory Projection
"I should go out as well and see how the others are handling the snow and their powers..." Not that she wanted to, she was still rather exhausted from having gotten little to no sleep. "But you are the elder if you can help then that is what you do. You do not want to become the burden of this pack when burdens are all that surrounds us as of now." She sighed, standing and limping out into the opening to see all the wolves who were up. The howl from earlier told her the Navarri was up, which was no surprise. She wouldn't have been surprised if he had stayed awake all night. She smiled slightly watching them and nodded to Ivan who nodded back before continuing his conversation with Kovi and Corvo. "Still lively as ever....makes me feel somewhat younger."

RAVII/FIGHTER/CALMING

Ravii could do little to control Navarri’s actions, but he could tell what set him off. The trouble making wolf was hostile but not usually violent without motive. Invasion of space or rudeness was all he needed to go off. Zane interrupting his conversation to start his own, was just the fuel needed to ignite that fire. Unlike Ravii, Navarri gave no warnings. A low growl turned it a snarl as the fighter wolf lunged at scout, snapping his jaws at the others throat. RAVII/FIGHTER/CALMING

NAVARRI/FIGHTER/HYSTERIA

Only Navarri could manage to start a fight so early in the morning. They hadn't even started their rounds and already his life long friend had locked jaws without another wolf of their pack. Ravii's current problem was not Navarri's antics, but rather there leaders reaction to them. It was no secret that Ravi was prone to challenging those above him. What may come as a surprise was how protective he was over Navarri. All eyes were now one Pebble. Ravii's low growl was given as a warning, he was watching him. Every step Pebble would make towards Navarii, Ravii would make towards Pebble. Obviously no one wanted a fight, and Ravii expected Pebble to put Navarri in his place, maybe even knock him around to teach him to not start fights. It didn't change the threatening growls escaping his snarl.

Apex - Earth Manipulation

The back of her fur relaxed and her body eased from a defensive position. She saw the other wolf come out, looked slightly younger than her and seemed a tad timid. She listened as the other spoke about how it was nice to meet another wolf, was she not part of a pack herself? Another loner like her? Apex's golden eyes watched the other wolf carefully as they moved closer, but not too close to her. Since this wolf did not wish to fight Apex would not attack them but instead walked over to them and brought her nose closer to get their scent. How long had she been away from her own kind? What was the proper edict to greet another wolf? She knew well enough not to lay down on her back and expose her belly from the get go, no no no, Apex did not show weakness nor surrender to the first wolf she sees. But what was the proper way to greet another without looking so damn scary or threatening? Perhaps speaking to the other was a good start.

"I'm sorry for coming off brash. The winds have changed and the lands are no longer safe for packless wolves. I've had to keep my guard up in order not to get spooked." she stated calmly before sitting down, tucking her tail in. She was trying to look less intimidating and was hoping it would work. Clearing her throat to gain the other wolf's attention Apex spoke again, "My name is Apex by the way. As you can see I don't have a pack and wonder the lands to wherever the wind takes me."

Apex tilted her head watching the silver wolf, that seemed to blend closely in with the snow, unlike herself who stuck out like a black dot on a white paper. But since this other wolf has yet to bare it's fangs and snap at her neck she was guessing things were going in the right direction. "I was just about to make my way over this hill. I heard a howl that sounded like a pack and was going to investigate. It has been too long since I've seen another pack. You are welcome to join, your name is by the way?"

How rude and foolish she was to continue speaking without asking their name. That's what happens when you've been a loner for so long. You loose your edict in speaking to other wolves and act like a feral. It caused Apex to squint her eyes in disgust that she had already acted like a fool. She was going to have to change that if she was to have any hopes of even speaking to this pack that she wants to scout. The would tear her apart for her manners and actions.

Corvo| Lead Hunter

With a simple nod, Corvo accepted the apology from the younger wolf. It wasn’t his fault that his ears had become so sensitive. “A book would have been incredible.” A small chuckle went past the Hunter's lips. He couldn’t wait for the day to come, where they slowly would get these weird powers under control. It would make their lives in these difficult times much easier and hopefully there would be less to worry about. Corvo liked a little spice in his daily routine, but the past few days had been quite a lot of action going on.

“Alpha I-“ He stopped himself as his ears perked back as they picked up the growl and snarls. Recognizing the sounds from pack members, he relaxed a little again and turned to look where the sounds came from. “How can they be at it this early in the morning?” He wasn’t particularly talking to anyone.

Zane jerked backward quickly when Navarri lunge for him, a growl rumbling from his throat, "Hey...I don't like being attacked Navarri, I may not be as strong as you but I will leave a mark..." Zane was smart when it came to keeping track of the land, but he badly lacked the ability to read the situation in front of him. Jeena's head turned towards the growls and much to her horror her son was facing off with Navarii of all the wolves Zane could piss off why had it been Navarii. She glanced between the two wanting to step up, but she feared she would only make things worse.

Ivan - 6yrs - Alpha - Telepathy
Ivan frowned, "Well if it revolves around Navarri or Ravii then that should explain well enough..." He padded over to where they were. "HEY!" He said with a louder growl than the others, His fur bristle tall making him look even larger than he was. His hazel eyes glaring at all of them, "It's far too early for stupidity, if someone wants a fight then they better start it with me. I don't like fights within the pack as you all know, even if some of you seem to want to ignore that. Navarri..." He said pointedly. Zane was quick to stop growling, he was never one to challenge what Ivan said unless it dealt with something the lead scout had mentioned. "Sorry..." Zane muttered. Ivan had expected Zane to back off immediately what he was waiting for was for Navarri or Ravii to step up and challenge him.

Kovi - 4yrs - Hunter - Sensory Tracking
Kovi watched from a distance as Ivan was quick to step in and challenge every single one of them that was trying to start up something. His tail wagged slightly wondering if there would be even more entertainment so early in the morning.

Lili - 3yrs - Loner - Enhanced Touch
"Oh, my name is Lili, sorry it seems I have forgotten the proper way to greet others." She got a bit excited when Apex mentioned heading towards a pack, "Is it the pack I have been keeping tabs on in a way? I was thinking about trying to join a pack as well...but..." She glanced to the she-wolf, "This may sound odd when the moon crashed down um...did anything strange happen to you?" She didn't want to straight out ask, hey do you have some strange power you are stuck dealing with. If Lili was some strange wolf then wouldn't it be better to keep her power a secret? She watched Apex to see how she would react to the question, for all she knew Apex could be asking herself the same question she had been.

Corvo| Lead Hunter

Corvo shook his head at the others, before stretching his body and sitting down in the snow, only to regret it a few moments afterward. He wasn’t a fan of wet and sticky fur and the snow between his paws was already enough for him, but what else was he supposed to do than to accept the white flakes falling and forming a blanket on the green grass he loved so much. “I wouldn’t expect too much..” He spoke up, noticing the slight excitement in Kovi. “Or that’s at least what I hope, A fight within the pack is useless and foolish.”
