born with a soul too kind for the world, his life thus-far is a song sung many times. his dreams were always much too large for his hardworking parents and their quaint home nestled within the bustle of the city, and jun-seo spent much of his life ignoring the ache of a childishness hope die away. one day however, as he sat in the lecture hall of another business class, jun-seo decided he'd had enough of playing pretend, and as he left the room he cut all the strings tying him to his parents' nimble fingers. from then on it was just jun-seo. he scrambled together any available job offerings and hopped on the train with his life packed into four bags. eventually it seemed life would give the boy an inch of stable ground to stand upon as he found a reasonably priced apartment, with the promise of roommates, an acceptance letter to the University of Arts as a dance major, and on top of it all an opportunity to work in a cafe surrounded by rescued kittens! perhaps the good souls do indeed find their luck. jun-seo still has many troubles laid ahead for him, and larger shadows from the past hoping to snuff out the light he'd managed to find.
.... but are there truly any good souls left in this world?

▹ what do they provide?

• kittens ~ jun-seo's inability to not fall in love with & then adopt the rescues he works with means he brings home quite a few of the cats. for the most part they're quiet, cuddly, and well-behaved. and offer definitely-needed cuddles at the end of long days.
• loud arguments with landlord ~ yeahhh so, understandably, the landlords wouldn't be too ecstatic about a bunch of cats, but jun-seo defends them to no end and has no trouble yelling down the phone with reasons as to why they should be allowed to stay. his stubborness is rather persistent. there are days he'd even swear there were no cats, he has no clue what you're talking about?
• fun drinking buddy ~ the lightweight in him can't seem to stay away from alcohol, and after just a few drinks jun-seo will let loose and babble away, or if you're lucky you might get calmer jun-seo who sits with a dazed smile and glassy eyes. whichever drunken side of him appears, it's always guaranteed to be an amusing time.
• partner in crime ~ a child at heart, and maybe much more rebellious than he seems, jun-seo is easily a great partner to any crime. his stubborn will and almost absolute belief in his twisted lies makes him your perfect alibi, no one would suspect the two of you. that is, of course, if jun-seo doesn't rat you out himself.
• daily dose of gossip ~ somehow seeming to know everyone residing within the building, it's not a big surprise he happens to know of a few not so very well hidden secrets of a few of the tenants. it's a little confusing he knows as much as he does given how much time he spends away from home, but if you were to ask he'd simply tell you the cats told him. seems perfectly plausible.
• confusion & parental worry ~ if it's not already obvious, jun-seo is massively confused by life. he has no clue what he's doing, where he's going, or what he's having for lunch, he's just taking life as it comes and dealing with the hurdles as they present themselves. due to his adult-confusion, it wouldn't be hard to believe that a few of his roommates, even those younger than he, feel slight concern wherever jun-seo is concerned. he appreciates the worry, and honestly probably needs it.
• search of comfort ~ despite everything about him, the one un-questionable thing about jun-seo is his ability to provide comfort. the usual almost chaotic energy he exudes vanishes the instant you come to him in search of solace, and he has a very weird ability to just provide an air of acceptance and quiet reassurance. whether you come to him for a rant, some advice, or a simple silent companion, jun-seo will do what he can to give what's needed to the best of his ability.

originated originally from canada but when he was eight they moved to south-korea to live a comfortable and easy life. as a kid he was often alone and now living in his own apartment he makes sure he mostly always got people over, to fill up the silence. his father being a 90s sitcom star who still lives off that money until this day; he has always known how to live his socialite life up to a maximum. mark loved his parents and was quite a spoiled kid, being the only child most of his flaws were well hidden and he didn't even notice he had them until he started dating. elijah can be somewhat self-centered and loves discussing, well.... himself. His good qualities may take a little digging but he's very supportive and can get you to do all the things you ever even dared to only dream about. he loves to socialize and surely is a smooth chatter; so it's not a problem if someone does not know what to talk about because he'll ask about your great-great-great grandfathers and mothers. though he can be somewhat self-centered at times; he puts his focus a little too much towards of what others think of him resulting in quite a fragile ego. criticism can be heartbreaking for him and so he likes to keep people on some distance so they never get to see his wrong doings. overall mark is trying to live his best life but misses a few good friendships in his life, often he gets hung up with the wrong crowd especially since he likes to fill up his own voids.
elijah has no understanding of what you have to do to earn money and never wants to find out, he loves a luxurious lifestyle maybe a little too much.


what do they bring to the table
- as elijah mostly got his mess cleaned up for him he became a very messy person. he hates cleaning and will do anything to not have to do it at all. so, he will bring a lot of trash to the table for sure.
- entertainment. mark will sing, dance and make up an entire show for a good night of fun. he loves a good party and it shows by him arranging an open-bar and throwing cash money over the counter.
- snoring. a difficult sleeper and also a very loud one.
- a man cave. elijah is an alpha male around other guys and especially when there are girls he's fancying around, he loves playing games and drinking beer preferably all night long.

- loves drawing and is really talented at it too, he doesn't tell everyone but he made most of his own tattoo designs.
