Traveling Mushi-Shi
Roleplay Type(s)
A letter in the mail about 2 weeks prior came in, adressed to you and your family. An invitation for you, whether you were a high-class, supernatual teen or, a scoundrel who couldn't quite fit in. Osiria Academy.
Renewed and having its grand re-opening.
The sealed invitation had a greeting in the front, at first.
"The grand renewal of Osiria Academy is here! Pack your bags new students, because you've been invitied to the most amazing Academy of your life!"

- Over 100 student dorms are available, complete with a bathroom and two beds.
- Luxurious cafeteria, 3 star restaurant style food at your beck and call!
- Wide campus area, allowing free-range for students to enjoy.
- Loads of activities and sports strewn across Academy grounds!
- Multiple electives and classes for learning!

Osiria Academy was founded during the early 1980's. A necessary means to help integrate supernatural beings into society and blend in with mortal human beings! Most supernatural students enrolled into Osiria Academy have been supernatural young adults that have been unable to easily integrate themselves in human society, and find it difficult to adjust to their lifestyle without causing dangerous incidents or reckless actions with their powers. Here at Osiria Academy, we hope to help your child adjust easily into the world they will soon be taking the reigns of when they become full-fledged adults. As they say, the next generation is the ones that lead the future~!

Here at Osiria Academy, we ensure your children leave us after their 4 years with newfound control of their powers, confidence in themselves, and respect for their daily mortal human, and supernatural alike.

P.S. - Don't forget to pack a sweater!
Sincerely, Mr. Vincent Valdez.
~Osiria Academy Principal~
Disclaimer: -In the tiniest print possible, nigh impossible to see with the naked eye.-

- Apocalyptic threats unleashed during the 4 year career of Osiria Academy
- Getting into fights with students that result in massive damage or, death.
- Leaving Academy grounds unauthorized.

Shipped off to the Academy, a week after that invitiation arrived at your doorstep. You stand at the front gates. Probably tired, annoyed, upset. Or maybe hopeful for something more? New friends, new possibilities, a new beginning? Who knew.
Orientation was a drag, but Mr. Valdez kept it short. Go to the Front Office, grab your dorm key and a map. Settle in, then go explore. Could you do it? It's hard starting up a new life, that will slowly consume you for 4 whole years of your life. Still, could you make friends?

(This is a revival of an Academy RP my friend made that was then handed off to me, I hope you are interested in joining! Here are the OOC and CS threads!)

Luxu finished placing his bags and equipment in a dorm room, his arrival to Osiria Academy and observation of the Orientation painted quite an easy picture to him. Osiria Academy was no paradise for Supernatural students. It may paint itself as such, and maybe it did have everything a socially awkward teenager might need to get better with themselves and the world they would soon be taking on. For Luxu, it was just 4 years of having to stay away from breaking a few arms, or legs...Maybe both.
Tossing his Dorm key a few inches up into the air and then letting it land into his palm. Luxu walked out of the room, locking the door for his eventual roommate to discover. Adjusting his sunglasses lightly, Luxu began walking. Time to take a trip around the Academy itself, search for certain electives and classes he would partake in, and then take the rest of the day off for himself. As he walked, his mind would wander back to the days where he was "The King".

Bloody knuckles, bruised bodies and roaring voices. Luxu's time spent in the Underground, An area dedicated to Fight Clubs involving Supernatural Beings; making bids, hauling cash, spending it all, then returning for more. That was the cycle of it, and perhaps the beauty of it as well. A cesspit of lawless brigands willing to ruin other people's lives for the entertainment. Luxu was the undisputed, The King. No challenger could beat him, he was always as ruthless as could be. But there was one thing different about Luxu as compared to your all natural champ in the Underground. He would never kill his opponents, he saw it cowardly. Let them leave with broken bones and shattered ego's. He would wait for them to return stronger than before, and then do it all the same. Not only that, if he killed his subjects how could he ever rule?

A sigh broke the memories of the Underground from within, and Luxu rubbed his hands softly. Years of Muay Thai training changed the once gentle hands he owned as a child, the ones he wielded now could simply be referred to as weapons. With but a whole day left to spare, Luxu was in no hurry to find classes he was interested in. By default he could pick out most of them on the list from the pamphlet, but it didn't hurt to check things out despite it all.

605915Tsukino walked onto the academy's campus grounds quietly, cautiously observing the other students around her through her sunglasses. She felt very self conscious as some of them gawked at her animalistic features. 'They always stare at me as if I'm a damn sideshow attraction. Judgmental ass humans don't know how to mind their own goddamn motherfucking business' she thought bitterly, even though she wore an emotionless expression. She had just gotten her dorm room key and thought it would be a good time to unpack. She needed something to take her mind off of her unavoidable future mental breakdown. "Four years in a dorm room. Surrounded by strangers. Most of it is shared space, so midnight emotional eating and insomnia fueled walks in the dark won't be a thing anymore" she said to herself as she set up her inversion table. Sure, she could just fly away, considering she had wings, but her sharp eyes didn't miss the part of the letter that said that they aren't responsible for anything that happens to anyone outside of school grounds.

It took a few hours to completely unpack and put everything in its rightful place, and most people would want to get out of their rooms to explore or socialize, but not Tsukino. Instead, she tried to sleep the day away so she wouldn't have to interact with anyone...especially humans. She somehow had gotten to sleep, but only for about twenty minutes, which is when a group of boys decided to play a very rambunctious game of rugby. "I swear to every fucking god in existence, if they don't shut up, I'm going to fucking blast their eardrums until they bleed" she growled under her breath.

Shiyam Rosa
Shiyam arrived with armor on, with a suitcase in hand. She had packed in a hurry to get to the place, to open her horizons and not be stuck being a submissive doll the rest of her life. And now that she is in a place where she can become more human, she can finally learn what the world is truly about instead of being horrid and depressing. She left her medium at home to not let anyone be able to find her easily. So most of her powers were under lock and key.
Seeing everyone act abnormal had her tilting her head to the left, she didn't seem to understand if this was normal behavior or not. She needed to know if it was or not. She gained her dorm key and now was vastly confused on where to go.

No matter how hard she tried to ignore the rowdy teens, they just couldn't stop irritating her sensitive ears. "Okay. Fuck this" she growled as she flipped right side up and the got off of the inversion table. She opened her window and glared at the group before clearing her throat, preparing her attack. She took a deep breath before letting out chirps that were at such a high frequency that everyone withing hearing distance stopped what they were doing to cover their ringing, aching ears. "Now stay quiet! Or I'll do it again! Fucking try me!" she hissed once they had all stopped playing. She huffed before slamming her window shut and closing the blinds. It only took a minute for the drawback to kick in. "That was a bad idea" she said to herself with an extremely sore throat. Her voice was very quiet and scratchy.

"So this is it, huh?" Rowan gazed about the room, backpack loosely in his good arm. He could already see the readings in his retina, humidity, air temperature, flow, everything. It was... decent. He didn't have a quarrel with having a dorm room, but he had always been used to something more advanced. And larger. He casually tossed his backpack onto his bed and sat down. Immediately, his PDA began filling with notes about what to change. He didn't know what the rules were around here, but he figured his dorm could at least use a small touchup. Maybe he could put his little drone on the nightstand.

"This is it, Rowan. Two years. You get two years to be out of the house. Make it count." He hadn't really taken any mementos from home, he wasn't allowed to. All he had were the little toys he had built over the years and any tools he'd need to keep with him to keep making more. All of it was technically his, but he still felt a little depressed that his family wouldn't even send him a going away gift. Not even his estranged family was happy that he was doing this. He took a deep breath and let it all out in one large sigh. After some moments of quiet insight, he sat up and made his way outside. He didn't expect to find much, but he figured it'd be better to stretch his legs a little than sit inside his dorm room waiting for something to happen. Plus, he needed to figure out what his classes were.

He made his way down the halls and around courtyards, studying people as he went past. It didn't take much looking, generally, a glance was enough for his lens to record everything he needed to know. His eyes eventually fell on a mystery woman with full armor. Funny enough, the lens was able to read her student file just as easily as it had read the others, but Rowan had a hard time not staring. She was dressed very strangely, and he could feel himself questioning why she decided to wear armor on a warm day in the middle of a school.

Professor Callous,
Upper Mathematics Class

Callous finished organizing his books. He took a deep breath and sat back against his desk, enjoying the quiet room and the fruits of his labor. A clean classroom. Soon, he knew it would be filled with new, curious students who would use his help to learn about the world and themselves. He was excited, just as he was every year. Every new set of students brought in new challenges and adventures, and he was prepared for just about anything.

He looked at his watch. Soon, the school would be hosting a little event to help the students get to know each other and the staff. He was never a fan of these forced interactions, he didn't think they impressed well on the students, but he was ready for them all the same.

605922Tsukino sighed with irritation at how reckless she had been. 'So much for laying low and controlling myself' she thought as she reluctantly walked to the shared kitchen for a glass of water, hoping to find some relief for her sore throat. She tried her hardest avoid any contact or conversation with the other students who were passing her in the halls. 'Will I actually survive four years of isolation and axiety?...Probably' she continued to speak within her head.

When she got to her destination, she sighed in relief that no one else was there. She quickly looked through the cupboards in search of a glass. When she found where they were, she realized that she was too short to reach them. 'Fuck it. Not like anyone is here to see me' she said to herself as she flapped her wings a few times, allowing her to fly high enough to grab what she needed.

The Academy was a lot bigger than Noah would've thought; he didn't reckon there was that many supernatural teens running around, much less that many that had been caught by the academy. Noah was scared shitless when he first dashed and his power was, in comparison to others, he watched a girl trying to extinguish the plant which she had just enflamed, very mild, to say the least. He pondered if his lack of power was better or worse in a place like this, before instantaneously getting thrown directly into the wall of long hallway that led to the dorms, accidentally knocking down the graduate picture of 1996. As he picked up the somehow still intact framed memory palace, he examined the wall, as it had hurt more than a usual wall-dash*, and proceeded to find solid steel, albeit in a mint-green-ish color. He hadn't exactly thought about the need for robust materials, but it seemed natural that a high-school filled with superpowered teenagers, some which shot lasers, would require it. He wondered if the picture frame had been steel too, but let the curiosity go.

Noah managed to find his dorm despite being surrounded by people with questionable physical quirks, fairy wings among them, but that came along with having a general disinterest in people, at least in real-life. Having to work with a fire-breathing receptionist also hadn't added to the dream experience he envisioned when he read the letter his parents had produced for him last year. He placed his bags beside what he now thought of as his designated bed and started packing out his laptop. He wanted a look at his schedule. He navigated onto the academy's "top-secret" website, one that was unlockable through the personal code he had been given along with his dorm number. "We're playing volleyball?"

*A term which he had dubbed his involuntary dashes into walls and other objects.

Luxu made his way into the Upper Mathamatics class-room, observed it very lightly. One of the electives he found an interest in from the pamphlet. It would do, he'd probably only come around and grab home-work every day. With a slight adjustment of his sun-glasses, he stepped inside now. He saw the Professor in the front, most likely to introduce himself to any student willing to test their mettle with high-end equations. Luxu's prominent frown stayed as he turned his head both ways to look at how wide it was. Wide enough to sit at least 30 kids. Lucky for one other student who would take this elective, Luxu wouldn't be arriving to class particularly. So a free seat for them.

It was about time to put his name on the list for the class. Walking over to a clip-board close by the Professor, Luxu wrote his first name in cursive. Leaving his last name blank. Osiria already gained what little files they could on Luxu, he would allow them no more than what was allotted; his life in the underground was one of the things Luxu kept secret. Though his father was probably the only other person out there who knew of what he did in secret..It still irritated him that it was the truth. That life, at least for now was in a deep slumber.

Just then, a voice on the loud-speaker came through. Mr. Valdez, from the Orientation. - "Hello new students! So glad we could have you all attend our Academy. We have a little custom here where we get students to participate and engage in activities together! Tonight will be Volleyball night, 7:00 PM! All cafeteria staff will be grilling outside for the night too! Let's have some FUN!" The voice cut out after a good-bye.
Luxu listened in, a volleyball game? Perhaps he would attend, to view it most like. His strength wouldn't really be considered "safe" to be a team-mate. Luxu returned to his pamphlet, reading off any electives he might find interesting...There was one in particular that caught his eye, not an elective...But a wide area on the Map titled "Training Arena". Closing up his pamphlet and map, he was getting ready to leave. Slinging his sword bag over his shoulder once more.

James Sanderson

  • A hallway in the main building.

Safe.
That's what they were calling it, these days. James wasn't even sure what time it was, but he only just checked in... and he had already seen things. Things he had only seen in books before. The organization went through great lengths to make sure he arrived on orientation day. Did they know how manic it would be?
The young man was walking unsteadily through the halls, still covered protectively by his gray hoodie as he dragged his suitcase behind him with one hand, and clenched the school map and pamphlet in the other. He could already tell that he wasn't meant to be there. The sheer amount of people alone was enough to make his spine rigid.
It was suffocating.

If the people alone weren't enough, as James was desperately trying to make sense of the school's map and figure out how he could get to the dorms, a familiar voice came on the intercom. It mentioned something about doing activities together and volleyball before shutting off again. Volleyball. With the kind of students that he was seeing around, volleyball had the potential to be quite a dangerous game.

Rowan Carter

  • Main Courtyard

Rowan had pit-stopped by her dorm right after orientation, getting a little bit of unpacking out of the way before venturing out to go meet her fellow students. All the different types of unique beings completely amazed her, and she had a hard time not fawning over a few that seemed particularly interesting. Seeing such diversity all in one place was a lot to take in, but she was much too excited to be intimidated by it.
The curious werewolf had managed to find her way out to one of the more open and grassy courtyards, greeting people as the opportunity arose, and initiating short conversations as people figured out where they needed to go.
Rowan was plagued with less than calmed nerves on her way to the school, she was so uncertain of such a new experience; Even mere hours later, while she embraced the hectic aura of the first day, she couldn't be happier that she came.

Shiyam Rosa
Shiyam heard the overcome announce volleyball at 7pm and only stared at where the sound came from before tilting her head a tad to the left. She began thinking before lightly sighing. She needed help. Her advanced hearing had caught someone behind her and she turned her body enough for her to look either her shoulder or straight at them. They looked odd, she tilted her head to the right a tad before raising her hand in hello but not waving at him. Her face was in a perpetual passive expression, so it was hard to say what she thought.

"What's with the getup?" He asked. After a few seconds, he mentally smacked himself. Shit, that was probably rude. Too late now. He turned off the lens, allowing him to actually view her with normal vision. He had hoped to come down here and meet someone, but he may have just insulted a person's outfit right in the first ten seconds of talking. He gulped, waiting quietly for a reply.

Lugh was nervous. Very very very nervous. New people, new places, and most of all, no more hiding. He just couldn't get used to the idea. But he soon found himself surprised by how... ordinary the academy seemed. Yes, there were obvious signs of the unordinary bits, such as students lighting things on fire or having nonhuman body parts, but if you overlooked those, it was all so familiar. There was a group of loud students playing rugby, others wandering around the campus, and even more hanging out with their friends. Normal.

Feeling much less nervous, Lugh departed from the orientation and picked up his dorm keys. He'd have to share with a roommate, a fact that he was dreading. He had no doubt that it would be awkward to live in such close proximity with a stranger. Besides, what if they didn't get along at all? Lugh suppressed his regrowing anxiety and set off. He walked slowly as he headed to the dorms, taking the time to examine his surroundings and fellow students.

As he neared the dorm, a voice blared out from the mounted speakers. The speaker, Mr. Valdez Lugh recognized, made an announcement: "Hello new students! So glad we could have you all attend our Academy. We have a little custom here where we get students to participate and engage in activities together! Tonight will be Volleyball night, 7:00 PM! All cafeteria staff will be grilling outside for the night too! Let's have some FUN!"

Lugh paused and hung his head with a sigh. Volleyball was not his best sport. Nor were any of them, really. He had never really excelled at any physical activities, though he'd also never been below average. Well, no matter. Best to leave that problem for later. First, Lugh had to deal with the one at hand. He headed down the mint-green hallway and stopped in front of the door to his dorm room. He took a deep breath and opened the door.

There was already someone inside the room - his roommate, Lugh assumed - that had chosen a bed and was on a laptop. Lugh stepped over the threshold and entered the room, intent on making a good impression.

"Uh... hey, I'm Lugh Heath. Your roommate, I guess," he muttered restlessly, proffering his right hand to shake.

606110Name: Tsukino Koumori
Race: Hybrid
Health Status: Sore throat; can't talk very loud without pain.

Tsukino heard the announcement and highly considered staying in her dorm room to avoid social interaction, but she knew that she would most likely get reprimanded for ignoring a school-wide event. 'Why must I do this on the first day? Why can't I just sleep and avoid everyone?' she mentally asked herself as she walked to the field where the 'fun event' would be held.

She stayed quiet as she looked at all of the students around her. She wasn't one to start or hold a conversation very well, considering her past experiences, so she opted out of doing either all together. 'I seriously should have brought earplugs. Everyone is too damn loud' she complained in her head. She decided to get something to eat to pass the time. As she looked through the food that was offered, she saw fruit cocktail and a man grilling steak. She could feel drool filling her mouth as her eyes sparkled and her stomach growled loudly. 'I have found my heaven. Once I eat, I will be able to die happy' she thought as she made a beeline to the food.

Robin was excited and terrified for his first day at the academy, mostly excited. Once after orientation finished he walked to his Dorm Room and placed his bags on his bed and headed off. There would be time for unpacking later. Right now, though, he wanted to look around the school and see what it was all about. While walking, he saw many different supernatural beings, sometimes he recognized them, other times they were completely new. Either way, he loved seeing all the different people. He did try his best as to not stare at anyone as to not to offend them. Eventually, he made his way to one of the courtyards which were mostly empty except for a few passersby and people lounging around. Robin decided to just sit on one of the benches and relax. It was nice, he thought. There weren't as many people in the hallways, which had started to get crowded, and left him alone with his thoughts.

He had noticed a girl who was also out at the courtyard greeting people who would come near her. She seemed very excited to be here and, surprisingly, wasn't anxious. Robin thought to himself that he couldn't just sit on a bench the entire day so he decided to walk up to her. "Hey, how's your first day here been? It's pretty exciting to be here, huh."

Tsukino quickly got her food and found a secluded, shaded area where she could eat in peace. She savored every bite of her meal, a rare smile gracing her features. "Wow...this might be as good as mom's cooking" she whispered to herself, licking her lips clean of the fruit juice that had slightly dribbled from her mouth. 'Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea. The food is amazing, I found a quiet, shady spot, and the air is fresh and warm. I...I'm actually enjoying myself' she thought as she relaxed.

She was in her own little bubble of peace, so she was able to shut out most of the noise that came from the other students. This was the first time in quite a while that she was happy to be outside. It felt like nothing could ruin this moment for her.

A closed door seemingly couldn't keep Mr. Valdez voice away from scratching Noah's ears. The message blared "Hello new students! So glad we could have you all attend our Academy. We have a little custom here where we get students to participate and engage in activities together! Tonight will be Volleyball night, 7:00 PM! All cafeteria staff will be grilling outside for the night too! Let's have some FUN!" .Fun, right. At least it was something his power would be of use in, and not, like, golf or something. Would've been a weird high-school sport anyway. As Noah closed his Facebook tab, a tab that hadn't been open for very long, someone opened the door. Right, look normal. He consequently opened up another facebook tag, scrolling down obessessively, to make it seem that he had a lot of friends he needed to know about. As soon as the person, now recognized as a young male, probably Noah's age, walked in, Noah was calmed. He looked like a nerd, thank god. He came over, muttered some words, and offered a handshake, and Noah awkwardly answered it while laying on his stomach, face into his laptop. He tilted his face upwards. "Oh hi, yeah, I'm your roommate as well" Noah stammered. Great going you idiot. He quickly realized his fault and said "I mean, I'm Noah Walker as well, if you wanted to know". Fuck, their hands were somehow still shaking. Suddenly Noah dashed directly into the wall beside him with a hard "bong". Fucking steel. "Oh yeah, that's my thing by the way, I dash into walls" He said sarcastically. He awaited a response, jollied by his escape of the handshake.

When Fuka received the letter for Osiria Academy her first reaction was fear, thinking that she had been tracked down by the people who attacked her family as a child. She also had to come up with a quick explanation to her foster parents about why an academy that apparently catered to supernatural teens had sent her an invitation even though she was as normal as people come. Despite this, she thought about it a lot for two whole days before coming to the conclusion that she would accept.

Having no problem blending in with humans, even with her unusual eye colour, her ability to sense their fears meant that she had learnt what behaviours were considered normal pretty quickly after being sent to live with her foster family. Because of this, her reason for deciding to enter the school was more about learning to control her abilities so that she wouldn’t have to feel the guilt caused by accidentally induced nightmares. She was also partly convinced that this was a trap to draw her out and her worry that the people she cared about would get caught up in whatever could happen if she refused to go won out over her fear of being caught.

She had arrived with a stomach full of nerves and determination, having bought a bat on the way just in case, she walked through the campus on high alert looking out for any possible attacks. It was genuinely surprising for the girl when all she saw was fairly ordinary, if magical, school antics on play wherever she went. Even during the short orientation and while she was picking up her dorm keys, she was aware of any activity around her. When she arrived at her dorm room safe and sound it finally started to sink in: this school was exactly what the invitation had promised.

Settling her small bag of luggage down and leaning the bat against the bed, she sat down slowly and thought about what her next action would be. She was already enrolled here now so she figured she would have to stay. That thought jogged her memory and she leaped up then and started looking for the invitation she had brought with her. She hadn't looked at the possible classes at all! Not finding it in any of her pockets or in her bag she sighed heavily "oh well, guess I'd better do this the old fashioned way!" she said, and left her stuff in the room for later.

While she was looking around and thinking about which classes would be interesting, a speaker blared out an announcement for a volleyball meet that afternoon. A small smiled spread across her face as she thought about it, all her worries from that morning were slowly being replaced with excitement until she passed a strange boy with red hair and a red tattoo(? she wasn't sure) on his face. Her senses had kicked in as always and she turned to walk over to him with a smile. "Um, hi, my name's Fuka" she said when she was sure he had noticed her "you look a little lost, do you need some help?" she asked cheerfully.

Rowan Carter

Rowan found it a little disappointing that few of her conversations actually went beyond a greeting, but she knew it was to be expected. The first day at any school was the busiest, and people had things to do to get ready for their stay. She knew that she was only delaying the things she needed to get done, but the girl decided that making friendly connections was the more important item.
As she said goodbye to someone who was on their way to the dorms, Rowan began to look around with a sigh. She wasn't really getting anywhere, but at the very least, it was helping calm her nerves; That was something that she had no doubt everyone needed.
Just as Rowan was going to run off towards a small group of people, she heard a voice come up beside her. "Hm?" The girl turned, smiling pleasantly when she realized that someone had actually approached her for the first time that day. "Oh hi!" She gave a light chuckle, tilting her head slightly at the boy. He had short brown hair, with side-swept bangs, and seemed to be just about as tall as she was. "So far, I guess you could say that." Rowan nodded lightly. "It is, isn't it? There are so many different kinds of people here..." She blinked, leaning in slightly. "Did you see that snake-dude? I didn't know those existed." The girl straightened up with a small smile. "What about you? What do you think of the school so far?"

James Sanderson

As James paused in the hallway to try and figure out his map, he ended up looking up and around to get his bearings and spotting a girl walking down the hallway. Towards him. His eyes widened slightly, and he gripped his suitcase, starting to walk down the hall, silently praying that it wasn't really him the girl was approaching.
James only got about two steps before the girl spoke, causing him to stiffen nervously. He looked at his feet at the girl talked, clenching the map once again in his hand. "Oh, I-, no, no I'm fine... thank you.." When he did look up, it was to inconspicuously check if anyone else was with the girl, or hanging around nearby. He only really glanced at the girl for a second before turning his eyes downward again.

"Oh yeah, that's my thing by the way, I dash into walls" He said sarcastically. He awaited a response, jollied by his escape of the handshake.

Well... This was certainly unusual. When Lugh had first seen his roommate - Noah, he now knew- he had thought he seemed rather like a normal teenager. He was scrolling madly on his laptop and seemed rather busy. And then he opened his mouth. Oh boy.

This guy was at least as awkward as Lugh was, if not more so. Noah tripped over his words, shook his hand for a bit too long, then dashed(?) into a wall. A fellow trainwreck, then. How wonderful. Lugh smiled, feeling that they were going to get along splendidly.

"Nice to meet you. That's a... uh, cool power. I can do some stuff with electricity," he replied.

"Yeah, It's eyeopening to see the amount of variety there are with what kinds of people there are here." She leaned in slightly as if she was telling some kind of secret, which Robin found amusing in a good way. "Yes, I did see him, and I think he was with another one, his sister I would assume. it's no wonder that you wouldn't know what they are, nagas like them aren't that common to see because they usually live in their clans for their entire lives." Robin sat down on the grass, a slight breeze going across his face, messing with his hair. "Well, so far, this school seems great, not only because of all of the people but everything about it. Did you know that the letter said that there was 3-star food whenever we want!" He turned toward her, his eyes lighting up at the mention of food. "I'm hungry already..." Suddenly he stood up and wiped off the grass. "I haven't even introduced myself, I'm Robin Kuzu, but you can call me Robin, or Kuz. Whatever you like." He stuck his hand out, waiting for her to grasp it.

Shiyam Rosa
Shiyam's passive expression became deadpan at the insult.
"I've no change of clothes is why I have my armor on. But I must why you seem to be strange in your attire."
She asked, lifting an eyebrow. Trading an insult for another insult.
'Not a grand first impression and most decidedly rude. I'll give him a wide berth with wanting any information but I require information as well.'
"But tell me, where can I find the living quarters? Its where I will live until I leave this place."
She asked.

He was surprised from the counter. Touche, he thought. "I'm dressed with everything I need to stay alive." He opened up his wristband PDA and typed in a few notes as he spoke. "Dorms are upstairs. The main hall first set of stairs on the left. Third floor. Should be labeled." He kept typing, wanting to note everything he could on this strange character. Suddenly, he perked up with a realization. "Wait, are you telling me you didn't go get to your dorm room first? And that's ALL your carrying with you for the YEAR?"

Professor Callous,
Courtyard

Callous appeared in a blue-tinted blur to the courtyard. His eyes scanned over the students as he walked past. The massive scale volleyball tournament would take a while to set up, and God knows it would take a lot of explanation for some of the students. He'd guess a good chunk of the students didn't even know what volleyball WAS, giving their backgrounds. But that wasn't why he had come out. He wanted to make sure there was the presence of a staff member so students could ask questions to someone who was actually available and nearby.

He also figured a 'shyer' kid might latch on.

Feeling the fear rise in the boy in front of her, Fuka took a deep breath and noticed the map clenched in his hands and the suitcase behind him. Keeping the smile on her face but softening her voice a little to try and help him feel more at ease she asked "are you having trouble finding the dorms?".

She knew he might have been better off of she let him be but it probably wouldn't take long for someone else to reach out to him anyway. That and she was incapable of leaving someone so clearly distressed on their own. "Um. I'd be happy to show you where they are? I've not long come from there myself" she said gently, her original goal completely forgotten as she decided to help the boy in front of her, even if he wasn't so up for it.
