SCHOOLS

Each district has a School, with the exception of Rose District, which houses a gang named after the literal high school. Each Schools has a different mentality toward life, thus their disagreements for who should control the city's future. Though each school has a different gang, they are all organized the same way.





Gang Hierarchy

All of the gangs have a Master, an NPC known only to four of their best graduates, which are known as "The Death Squad", who are also NPCs. Death Squad members deliver messages between the students of the school and their Master. These are both off limits to make for your main character. We will use the Neutral Character tab to create Death Squad members if we feel the need, but that's only to give them a name and a face. They aren't supposed to show up in the story often. They'll get some cameos at minimum, a full blown conversation delivering a message from the Master at best.

Becoming a member of the Death Squad is an arduous task. After graduating from one of the schools, alumni are expected to work within the adult branch of their gang. The high school is mostly just a training ground for young initiates. If they show exceptional work in the adult branch, then they may challenge one of the current Death Squad members to a duel. These duels are often a duel to the death, because you're only allowed one chance in your life to try for the position. You must be absolutely sure of your decision to become a Death Squad member, and who you will challenge for the spot. If you win the duel and your opponent is alive, you have the option to kill them. These fights typically end in death because they aren't over until both fighters agree on a winner, and many people will use their final breath to attempt to overpower the opponent, thus forcing the winner to kill them. Upon gaining a Death Squad position, you will finally meet the Master of the gang and have a celebration with them and the other Death Squad members.

In the event that a Death Squad member dies outside of a duel, a tournament will be held within the adult branch to choose another.

Each school has a leader, otherwise known as the Elder, who must be a 4th year and leads the School's gang. Every Elder has a Second-In-Command who can be a 2nd Year and above. The rest would be your standard members who have varying roles, but they all answer to the Elder and the Second-In-Command. These roles are open for any player who wants them.

Red Spectres

RED SPECTRE HIGH

Formally the biggest, baddest gang in the city, its life outlook focused on knowledge of any form, be it spiritual, or scientific. Then, a tsunami struck and flooded West District. Many of the ninjas died attempting to rescue the elders and children of the district. The gang falling into shambles increased the activity of the others. The Red Spectres are steadily getting back on their feet. Red Spectres tend to be the most physically powerful ninjas in the city. Their base is in the Survivor, one of the few buildings that wasn't totally fucked up by the tsunami despite being at the heart of most of the flooding.

White Tigers

WHITE TIGER HIGH

白 虎

The Tigers are the high rollers of Shima. They're flashy, they're arrogant, and they're go-getters. Their core belief is ambition. The wealth of their district allows them to be better equipped than the other gangs. Many of the graduates of White Tiger High have gotten careers in business and corrupted the economical balance of the city. The White Tigers are the closest to gaining the coveted title of "The King District." Their base is a large mansion paid for by their Master, fitted with an underground state of the art Bat-Cave like armory known as The Den.

White Tiger High is a private school and is thus the second school in Shima with uniforms. Check 'em out.
 



 

Pretty much what you see is what you get.
 



 




The blazer is less creamy and more white like the men's uniform, and it also has a similar black lined pattern, though the lines are thinner.

Black Cobras

BLACK COBRA HIGH

黒 蛇

These students are known as the wild ones. They have a somewhat easy-going outlook on life, with many of them valuing fun over all other principles. The cops don't really come out here, so the gang pretty much takes care of the area. Despite their reckless and cavalier behavior, the Cobras are very loyal to each other, and stick by each other's sides until the end. They're known for hosting nights of debauchery. They're the trickiest and most unpredictable ninjas. The Cobras meet up after hours in Funworld, Shima city's boardwalk amusement park.
