Spoiler: The Cradle of Life.

The history of this earth is not a mystery like it is in our world. Exactly 12,000 years ago humanity emerged from the Cradle of life. Its a massive structure that still stands in the Sahara Desert a permanant reminder of the gods and their work to create us. It is roughly the size of rhode island and to this day no human structure rivals its size or intricate design. Several portions of it are open and scientists and researchers have studied it in depth, however most of it is inaccesible as it is locked up tightly. Once every Decade a massive celebration is held globally and people gather from all over the world to give thanks and study the Cradle.

Spoiler: ,The Gods & The Nyx

The gods are a race that have learned to manipulate whats called alpha energy. All matter and energy in the universe stems from this trans universal energy source. Using this the Gods became masters of all universes Except for Logoth, the Dimension of the Nyx. The Nyx Removed all Alpha energy from themselves, and their universe, this resulted in the creation of the Chaos, a force that since its creation has been the equal and opposite to alpha energy. This began the war between the gods and the Nyx. It is believed that mortals were created to be the Gods answer to the Nyx. This is why the Nyx responded to humans creation with the monsters that hunt them.

Spoiler: The Guilded Lotus

10,000 years ago the gods awoke from their slumber to find humanity nearly extinct. They responded by dropping the guilded lotus On earth. This 30ft tall and 50ft wide metal lotus was able to enfuse humans with the gods Alpha energy. If the humans Mind, body, And spirit were strong enough then they would Become an endymion. If not...they become an ash pile.

Spoiler: the order of the lotus

The order has existed since the gods first gifted man with the Guilded lotus. This order has dedicated itself to destroying monsters, protecting humanity, and upholding the will of the gods who saved them. In recent centuries the gods have become more and more distant causing mankind to believe they have been abandoned. Not to mention humanity gives credit to the defeat of the monsters to their own tenacity. Because of this the public view of the order has shifted, most actually hate them now. However the presence of the Endymions have kept any retaliation from occuring.

Spoiler: Monsters & the Chaos Eggs

The Chaos eggs are orbs of pure chaos energy launched from Logoth through a white hole. Upon contact with any lifeform this chaos egg mutates the lifeform into a twisted and dangerously powerful being. While monsters are usually animals it is not unheard of for humans to be mutated, though endymions are immune to this. The first chaos egg to fall was only a foot across...the one found in space is over 10ft across.

Spoiler: Endymions

These beings are the result of the guilded lotus infusing them with the gods energy. They are immensely powerful champions of humanity. All endymions posses several powers but some are more unique or powerful than others. All endymions possess healing factors, super strength, super speed, super durability, superhuman stamina, the power to detect monsters, an immunity to corruption via chaos energy, immunity to all disease, and an enhanced lifespan of up to 500 years. The level of these powers varies greatly with the lowest being 10x human capacity and the highest being over 10,000x based on how well their body took to the alpha energy. However it is important to note the more physicaly powerful the endymion is the lesspsychic, elemental, or additional abilities they have.
