  Life Before Operation X
  
  Significant People in Character's Life:
  
  -Rebecca Asher (Mother): A nice stay at home mother who supports Jace in his basketball endeavors.
  -Miles Asher (Father): A strict businessman who works in the lucrative weaponry business. Wishes that his son would spend more time on his studies.
  -Coach Herman Leo (Basketball coach): Jace looks up to him a lot! Sees the former basketball legend as some sort of God. Coach sees Jace as a good kid and valuable asset.
  
  Any responsibilities? (like a job/caretaker/etc):
  
  -Basketball stuff: Jace is a bit forgetful, but thankfully, his mother was always there to help him remember everything. Once showed up to practice with only 1 basketball shoe.
  
  -Schoolwork: Jace does well, but isn't the top of his class. He likes math and has managed to maintain a 100% in the class.
  
  Place of Birth: San Fransisco, California
  
  Economic status: Middle class
  
  Backstory: Born to a middle class family in San Fransisco, Jace was set up for success. His father, Mr. Miles Asher, did everything he could to immerse Jace into the world of the wealthy, bringing him to see the world on his business trips. Jace grew up in this whirlwind of a constantly changing world due to these frequent business trips. He was always happy though and his parents were constantly doting on him.
  
  School was good too. Jace was social, made friends and his favorite class was PE. He did well academically, but lacked motivation to study. However, he lived for PE. Even though he was smaller than his peers, he was speedy and fast. Mr. Asher saw this as an advantage and used the boy's enthusiasm for PE to enroll him in a variety of sport programs. Jace eventually was worn out by the amount of time he was forced to commit to these numerous amount of sports programs, so he chose to only do basketball in middle school.
  
  Jace easily rose to the best player of his school's team. He was fast and quick, a great shooter and a good sport. Basketball made him happy and he was always working on improving. He believes that his basketball career peaked in seventh grade, when his team made it to the national middle school championships. Good times.

  -Ability to adapt to constantly changing surroundings: For a year, Jace went to different places around the world each week. He knows how to adapt to a constantly changing environment.

  -Kind: Jace is a nice kid. He generally sees the good side of people.
  
  -Friendly: Jace needs to talk to survive. He'll make small talk with anyone. Sometimes, he won't stop talking in class.

  -Disorganized: Jace is extremely disorganized.
  
  -Unmotivated: Jace can come off as lazy, if he is forced to do something he dislikes.
  
  -Short attention span: Jace has a short attention span and talking with someone during class can mean that he misses an hour of content. He may need something to fidget with or needs to be intrigued by something.

  How did your character catch the attention of Operation X officials?: General Todd was one of few military officials who attacked the aliens and survived. In fact, he managed to win a few battles against them, so Operation X officials see him as their best bet to beating the aliens.

  Life Before Operation X
  
  Significant People in Character's Life:
  
  -Valerie Todd (wife): Deceased. Killed after a minor alien bombing attack in an attempt to force Earth to give up. Former ambassador for the US government.
  
  Any responsibilities? (like a job/caretaker/etc): Terrence considers himself retired and spends his days reading books and complaining about life. However, he does attend the occasional veteran parade if he believes it is worthy of his time. It should be noted that he has plenty of spare time.
  
  Place of Birth: Terrence was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio.
  
  Economic status: Middle class/lower middle class
  
  Backstory: Terrence was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He did not particularly stand out in school, performing mediocre in both academics and Athletics. After graduating, he joined the military in hopes of finding a sense of purpose. There, he became fascinated with military strategy and became the top of his group. Noticed by his superiors, Terrence was sent out to fight in multiple global scenarios and he became respected among his peers for his brave maneuvers and emphasis on saving lives. As time passed, he was no longer the solider who fought, but became the one behind the scenes, ordering troops where to go and what to do. He received multiple medals for his achievements. He returned home a hero and met the love of his life, the petit Valerie, whom he loved very much.
  
  The two of them never had children but that didn’t matter too much. Terrence didn’t like children and the two of them were busy anyways. Due to Valerie’s duties as an international American ambassador, she travelled a lot, leaving Terrence feeling somewhat lonely.

  -Punctuality: Terrence is a serious man. He disliked jokes and gets straight to the point.
  -Responsible: Terrence has excellent memory for a 70 year old man. He remembers everything.
  -Attention to detail: Terrence is very detailed. When speaking about a topic, he enjoys getting very specific.
  
  3 Negative Traits:
  
  -Impatient: Terrence hates kids. He’s impatient and believes that he is a great teacher. Don’t understand something? Ask your neighbor and hope that they know… Asking questions in class is just not an option.
  -Strict: Terrence loves following the rules. He strictly adheres to them. He does not tolerate any sort of mishaps and mischief. Miscreants will be punished.
  -Grouchy: He‘s an old man mourning the death of his wife. He misses her dearly and feels miserable that he couldn’t save her. He generally complains quite a bit and it wouldn’t be surprising if you absorbed some of his negativity.

  -Miscreants: Terrence hates anyone who thinks they’re funny or silly. The Alien War is serious and have claimed people’s lives.
  -Stupid people: Terrence firmly believes in surrounding himself with competent people. This is a new mindset that he has acquired after the numerous accolades and awards he has received.
