[OPEN] The Invasion of Andromeda

Meldon System

"Sir, inferiors are glassing their own worlds." reported a soldier to his commander, who laughed at the desperation of the inferiors.

"Pathetic! Send a few Tyrants to destroy the ships. We want the world intact."

"As you wish, commander. Any more orders?" asked the soldier.

"I want fighters to land constructs at all inhabited worlds in the sector, while the rest purge the inferior ships from this corner of space!"

"As you wish commander." replied the soldier before he relays the commander's orders to the fleet.

Yufu System

"長官,文典淪陷了!(Sir, we've lost Wendian!)" The commander's face turned bleak as he listened to the piece of news he least wanted to hear at the moment.

"還是丟了......還是丟了......(We still lost it......we still lost it......)" muttered the terrified commander bleakly. Throughout the 8 hours since the battle began, the commander has witnessed more than enough horrors to break a normal person. Hellish beasts tearing both soldiers and civilians apart with their sharp claws while unleashing their unholy screeches, sending chunks of flesh and blood splattering everywhere. The looks of terror on the faces of the civilians while they were mercilessly slaughtered by the enemy. These are not just beasts, they are monsters, unstoppable monsters. Yufu is now the last standing planet in the whole system, with the others long lost in the savage attacks by the creatures. The local defense fleet is now nothing more than chunks of scrap metal, rendered useless by the enemy fleet.

"長官,敵艦正接近玉符!(Sir, the enemy fleet is approaching Yufu!)" A soldier reported.

That same Stramstin commander might as well see an unpleasant surprise just a few seconds after he issued his order. A Shadow Stalker corvette uncloaked right in front of his bridge, before launching a single torpedo that lodged itself at the ship's chitinous armor. Slowly, it began to drill its way in. A sickening slicing sound could be heard by the Stramstin as the torpedo made its work. In a few moments, it detonated, leaving a charred wound on the ship's armor. The corvette was long destroyed, but more would come.

Meanwhile, the Darksea Battlecarriers began to strike on their own. Beams and shells flew from their barrels at hypersonic speeds, before slamming into their targets. The shells can do little against the tough chitinous, but the beams? They will do so ever greatly. The flagship, the IS Battleship Kirov, did its job the best. Its armor and shields shrugged off many of the Stramstin attacks without so much of a scratch, and its particle disruptors were highly effective against the enemy armor. Striking at the molecular level, such weaponry are some of the best against highly armored targets. Stormwinds and Super Andromedae continued their attack, launching nuclear missiles and laser beams with no sign of stopping.

MiG Bombers appeared out of the battlecarrier's hangars, and unloaded their deadly payload of radioactive bombs at the nearest targets.

Meanwhile, Battlegroup Sentinel would prove to be a little too fast. After all, all it would take for Tertius to burn is a few hundred nuclear bombs, and a single battlegroup has more than that. By the time the Tyrants would arrive, around 50 nukes have been dropped and counting. Sentinel faced the Tyrants and defended their bombers.

Meldon System

"How the fuck di that ship made it's way to right in front," The angry commander took a breath of air before continuing. "I repeat, right in front of my FUCKING SHIP!!"

The soldiers nearby the commander shuddered at the rage of their superior officer, not one of them daring to answer the commander's question.

"Hey, I'm asking a question here! Can't one of you brain deads at least ANSWER THE QUESTION!" yelled the commander at the awkwardly silent soldiers.

"Sir, the enemy appears to have a cloaking system." One of the soldiers answered quietly, fearing that he would incur the commander's wrath upon him.

"Cursed inferiors!" The command yelled while pacing through the chamber. "Inferiors, inferiors, INFERIORS!!!! I WANT THEM ALL DEAD,ALL DEAD! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!"

"Yes,sir!"

The Stramstin fleet continued to engage the enemy fleet, this time with increased vigor as the commander threatened to disembowel the crew if they didn't "kill them all" within 20 minutes, and based on their knowledge on this particular commander, he would do it. More and more enemy ships became scrap metal as time passed. Meanwhile, the Tyrants fired their beam weapons upon the Sentinels on Tertius, while one of them attempts to get pass the defenders and strike the bombers directly.

Aleksandr watched in alarm as the fleet ships were destroyed one by one. Several Stormwinds and Super Andromedae have been destroyed, but that was all, for now. He hastily opened a comms channel to battlegroups Alpha, Delta, Sigma, and Beta, and issued a new order.

"Focus all your attacks on the enemy ships one by one! We will destroy them faster this way! Strike at the signatures I will be giving you at my mark!"

"Yes, command."

At the same time, the battlegroups redesignated their attacks, with each of the 129 ships present attacking the enemy ships one by one, focusing them down. At this rate, they began to take them out one by one.

Meanwhile, Battlegroup Sentinel wasn't about to allow their operations to be disrupted. They requested support fron Battlegroup Epsilon, which sent a single Tiger Battlecarrier. The massive battlecarrier warped in from hyperspace and struck with its solar cannon, completely searing the frontal armor of the Tyrant that was trying to get past. This, however, drained its energy, and a squadron of Darkseas moved to protect it.

Meldon System

"Sir, the enemy are taking out our ships one by one!" A soldier barged into the chamber and reported shortly after the enemy fleet made it's move. "So far, we had lost 4 fighters, 2 destroyers, and a cruiser is heavily dama..destroyed."

"Cursed inferiors!" The furious commander smashed his cup onto the floor, spilling it's contents all over the floor, while the chitinous cup bounced for a few times before ultimately stopping. "Tell the fleet to divide into groups! Let's see how they could take on our ships like that!"

Meanwhile, above the surface of Tertius, the Tyrants noticed the battlecruiser's moment of weakness, and acted accordingly. Three Tyrants blocked the ways of the Darkseas, while the rest fired the beam weapons on the battlecruiser in unison, leaving holes all over the hull of the ship.

Battlegroup Sentinel was not very keen to allowing the century old Tiger be destroyed, and several squadrons of Black Eagle frigates cloaked, right before appearing beside the three Tyrants and lobbing numerous laser beams, nuclear rockets, and drill torpedoes. The Tyrants would turn against them, only to see that they have cloaked once again, and thus rendered undetectable. The Darkseas kept moving, shooting with their shock batteries in full blast while simply blazing past the Tyrants. Vostok Fighters deployed out of the Darkseas' hangars and engaged the Tyrants, dropping photon bombs and laser shots as they went.

The Battlecarrier deployed fighters as soon it was hit, and activated its shields, preventing any further damage to its hull. Drained as it is, however, the shields won't stand so long.

Meanwhile, Battlegroups Alpha, Sigma, Delta, and Beta continued their tactic, but this time, the individual battlegroups attacked different ships from different groups. Fighters flew forward and struck with their bombs, and lasers and shells lashed out against the enemy.

Meldon System

"Fight on, men!" yelled the commander "These inferiors might have numbers, but it's only NUMBERS! By the way, you have 15 MINUTES LEFT BEFORE I DISEMBOWEL YOU ALL!!! THAT MEANS YOU, FIGA!!!"

The particular soldier named Figa felt shivers down his spine at the same moment the commander mentioned his name.

The Stramstin groups were successful in their new tactic, splitting up the enemy into smaller, and more manageable chunks. With the commander's reminder, the Stramstin fleet continued to push their limits, rendering more and more enemy ships useless in the fight.

Meanwhile, the Tyrants over on Tertius noticed the enemy intentions, and ignored most of the other enemy ships, focusing their fire on the battlecruiser.

Yufu system

The Stramstin fleet has finally made a move on Yufu, deploying it's dropships upon the planet. Han anti-air emplacements fired continuously at the enemy aircraft, attempting to at least lessent he burden of the PDF. However, their efforts didn't really work out, as only a few dropships were even harmed by the Gauss shells.

After a few minutes, most of the dropships had already reached their destinations, unleashing their horrifying constructs upon the enemy. The terrifying screeches of the Stramstin constructs signaled the beginning of the Siege of Yufu.

The Commander of Battlegroup Sentinel saw that the enemy is completely focusing their efforts on the Battlecarrier, and decided to counter such a move. The Darkseas fired grappling hooks at the Tiger, and began to tow it away.

A soldier shouted from behind a console,
"Commander! All life on the southern sector of the planet has been destroyed. Shall we-"

"Continue the bombing. The Slavas will face the enemy dreadnoughts while our Darkseas enter hyperspace to bring the Tiger to safety."

"But the bombers won't have anywhere to-"

"They are arrows in the quiver. Bombers take a few hours to make, but battlecarriers take months. Now go!"

"Ah... As you say. Commander."

At that, the Slava Class Battlecruisers of Battlegroup Sentinel moved forward and blocked the shots of the Tyrants from hitting the Tiger. Their shields absorbed the enemy beams, and they retaliated in kind.

Meanwhile, Alpha, Delta, Sigma, and Beta continued their battle. Aleksandr then recieved a message from Battlegroup Epsilon.

"We have successfully evacuated 50% of the Sigilites at the moment. Just hold on, Commander."

"I see."

Outside, the battle continued fiercely. At Aleksandr's command, Vostok Fighters and MiG Bombers focused on enemy ships one by one, while the larger vessels dealt with them accordingly.

Meldon System

"Well, gentlemen." The commander inhaled. "10 MORE FUCKING MINUTES!!! MOVE YOUR ASSES!!! I WANT THEM DEAD IN 10 MINUTES!!!"

The commander's yelling triggered yet another wave of shuddering throughout the soldiers under his command, working harder to destroy the enemy ships so that they could avoid the commander's wrath.

The Stramstin groups fired collectively at the ships leading the charge against them, turning some of them into complete wrecks. Meanwhile, above Tertius is yet another fierce battle. The Tyrants decided to focus their fire on one enemy ship at a time, bringing down the collective might of their beam weapons on one, single unlucky battlecruiser. It's shielding withstood the first barrages. But after four or five of those, the shields collapsed and the ship is now vulnerable. Not wasting a second, another barrage tore a hole in the hull of the ship.

Aleksandr is not about to let the battle be lost because of a change of tactics on the enemy side. He ordered the Star Blazers to strike at the smallest enemy ships. Soon enough, the Star Blazers, who were attacking from behind with their shock cannons, cloaked and moved towards a number of Nightshades. At the Rear Admiral's command, the Star Blazers fired powerful short range blasts of plasmatic flame from their frontal blast cannons, incinerating the chitinous armor of the Nightshades they approached at close range. Their attacks left them enemy ships weakened and easy pickings for the Super Andromedae and Stormwinds that formed the bulk of the defense fleet. The Star Blazers' heavy armor and shields negated all incoming damage initially, before they cloaked and repeated the procedure. From behind, the Slavas and Darkseas continued to fire from long range.

Over Tertius, the Black Eagle frigates decided to do what they always favored to do. Whilst cloaked, they approached the Tyrants' sides at point blank range and revealed themselves right before firing a volley of beams, thermonuclear weapons, and drill torpedoes. After each volley, they would cloak, but some aren't so lucky and were torn apart one time or another. The Battlecruisers moved forward to cover their wounded comrade, and fired with numerous rockets and laser beams.

"Sir, we are losing more and more ships!" reported a soldier, before he was cut off by the commander himself.

"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK, YOU USELESS PILE OF SHIT!! GET YOUR JOB DONE BEFORE I CUT YOUR HEAD OFF!!!"

The soldier was then kicked out of the chamber, scrambling to get up and leave this place as soon as possible before the commander decides that he needs more ass kicking. The Stramstin ships began ramming, or at least attempted to ram, the cloaked ships that appeared too close to them. The tactic had some success, but it might not last for long.

A few Marrows moved towards Tertius to support their Tyrant comrades, lending their fire against the enemy ships

Yufu System

The ground battle on Yufu was an utter disaster. The flat terrains of the mostly agricultural world formed no natural barrier against the ravaging Stramstin forces, giving them free reign over the vast plains of the planet. Scouts and Drones surrounded the local forces that were unable to retreat to the cities in time and devoured them, while most of the forces made their way to the poorly defended cities.

The cities didn't stand a chance. They were mostly trading centers with little to no defensive fortifications. Hordes of Stramstin constructs overran the minuscule defense forces stationed within the cities in hours, leaving only blood and chunks of flesh scattered on the floor. The only ones holding out so far are the military bases scattered across the planet. However, their numbers are small, and would only slightly delay the inevitable.

The Stramstin forces march towards the military bases, with the intent to finish the fight for once and for all.

The heavily armored Star Blazers could only be shoved violently aside as they were rammed by the Stramstin ships. They then retreated, because if they just get rammed enough, their armor and shields won't last a second.

At the same time, the four battlegroups, despite having recieved quite a beating, continued fighting the now weakened Stramstin fleet. The Darksea battlecarriers now led the attack, with the single IS battleship way ahead of them.

Above Tertius, the commander decided that they have destroyed enough of Tertius' biosystems, and warped out to assist Epsilon in the evacuation.

Meldon System

Despite the fact that most of Tertius's biosystems being destroyed, the Stramstin continued to land a few constructs onto the planet to search for anything left. Besides, the radiation of the planet might create interesting new variants for themselves.

Meanwhile, the Stramstin changed their tactics once more as the enemy received reinforcements. The various small groups of ships are now grouped into one large ball, firing beams of death at the enemy.

As the Stramstin would have expected, the radiation had caused some... interesting mutations in the creatures of Tertius. Predatory Kulmars, once the Stramstin caught them, would show the ability to shapeshift in their genes, and the herbivorous Stegaaon would become armored beasts in the days to come.

Now with the enemy grouping themselves once again as a "deathball", Aleksandr ordered the fleet to do what they did awhile ago: To focus down individual enemy ships one by one.

Meldon System
Not far from the battle site, Stramstin scanners would certainly be able to detect a spike of energy warping space by their left flank, perhaps a good seven kilometers away from their nearest ship. Moments later, space itself seemed to tear open like fabric, creating a gaping hole that revealed nothing but a swirling grey maelstrom within it. Not even a few seconds pased, before what looked to be a large black knife emerged from the space time rip, marked with red runes stemming from some sort of alien language. Aleksandr of the Altaran may have been more familiar with the language that seemed to be scrawled all over the object. It was Drathian, spelling out a single word: "Predator".

As the object emerged from the portal, it was clear that it was only a fragment of what was yet to come. The knife itself was merely the bow, the ramming spike, of a Drathian dreadnought, the DVC Predator. Mounted below the ramming spike was a large main cannon, which was already charging a round, as determined by the menacing red glow emanating from the barrel of the enormous gun. Behind that, the dreadnought was outfitted with six more main cannons, though a bit smaller than the large one beneath the spike. It also sported an array of twenty broadside batteries on each side, and a multitude anti-fighter turrets mounted on both the top and bottom of the ship. The entire vessel was a powerhouse, a mobile weapon, capable of ripping apart any smaller craft that came within range. However, at 4km in size, it was certainly one of the smaller of the capital ships employed by various navies. Though, its small size meant the dreadnought could boast great mobility, in addition to its devastating firepower.

While only one dreadnought entered through the portal, it was by no means alone. Eight more craft followed it. Six of them were cruisers, only half the size of the dreadnought itself, and with only half the weaponry as well, but nonetheless, forces to be reckoned with. Much like the dreadnought, they were extremely mobile, and meant to inject themselves within an enemy formation, to incite friendly fire, and force their foes to reorganize and abandon their plans. At the cruisers aid were two carriers. These crafts were a bit smaller, only 1.5km, very tiny by most standards. However, they were heavily armoured, and fitted with extra shield generators. The carriers sported no main cannons or broadside batteries, but still held a variety of turrets, once again, mounted at both the top and bottom of the vessel. The ship's flanks were decorated instead with hangar bays, with each carrier able to hold a maximum of fifty fighters each. With the current amount of ships present in the newly arrived Drathian fleet, that meant a hundred fighters at their disposal. Twenty of which were bombers.

Commanding the operation was Admiral Torvjar 'Thick-Skin', who sent a message to the Stramstin flagship. There were only three words in the transmission. "Surrender or perish."

Meldon System

"Sir, we received a transmission from the inferiors."

"What is it?" asked the commander, who was adding astradun, the Stramstin equivalent of milk to his beverage.

"Uhm...." The soldier scratched his head. "No one on board understands it. Translation software is working around the clock to decipher the words."

"Then, WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU REPORTING THIS TO ME! Can't you see I'm trying to RELAX HERE!" The commander began his signature shouting. "NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"

"But, sir! Inferiors are receiving reinforcements!"

"THEN CALL FOR REINFORCEMENTS!" The commander slammed his fist onto the table, frustrated by the apparent stupidity of his subordinates.

"Yes,sir!"

Within minutes, another set of wormholes appeared in the system, with another Stramstin fleet pouring through them.

Meanwhile, on the surface of Tertius, hordes of Stramstin constructs harvested the local Kulmar and Stegaaon, along with interesting variants of Stramstin mutants under the supervision of the Observers.

Yufu

The stench of ozone could be smelt miles away from the Changde Military Base, as the Tunusi troops fired volleys and volleys of plasma against the incoming Stramstin hordes. Green droplets were continuously sprayed forwards by the defensive turrets set up in the perimeter of the base, supplementing the fire from the base's living defenders. Multiple Dachar Adepts barked out commands towards their nearby Tunusi comrades, causing them to group together in various formations to better defend against the Stramstin constructs.

A few Shangfu Walker Mechs stood against the Stramstin constructs, their plasma turrets blazing in an effort to mow down the waves of terrifying creatures. Occasionally a siege pulse would blast a clearing in the endless swarm that was the Stramstin.

The battle goes on, as the defenders struggle to defend the last military base on the planet.

"Reinforcements incoming, both friendly and hostile!", reported a soldier in the bridge of Aleksandr's flagship. "A Drathian fleet has arrived, and another of the unknown enemy fleets have entered via Einstein-Rosten bridges!"

"By the light of the sun, we already had enough trouble with one fleet and now we have another? However, the Drathians are here and will be probably be a huge help. Battlecruisers and carriers, support the Drathian vessels once they enter combat! Heavy destroyers, cruisers, and battlecarriers, continue what you have been ordered to do! Our fair payment will be ours once this is over!"

Cheers erupted from the crew at the words, "Payment". It was little wonder that they would, as they are mercenaries. Paid to fight the battles of other people, and these ones are paid quite richly. To make things better, Aleksandr's dearest friend is the leader of the Sigilites, which serves as another cementing bond between the mercenaries and the Sigilites. Ah, did they not get a name yet? These mercenaries are known as the Silverwing Sentinels, and true to their name, they are watchful sentinels that serve as protectors, and are good at it.

Meanwhile, the Sigilites have all evacuated successfully, but battlegroups Epsilon and Sentinel aren't going to leave the battle just yet. All of the vessels that were still warp capable(some have already entered hyperspace recently) entered the battle with the Stramstin and reinforced their comrades even further. Ana'ralah belore...

Meldon System

Commander Sarituo'Anagalbim took a sip of his beverage, while staring at the vast void of space in front of him with a frown on his face. He was busy looting a nearby system, with it's primitive natives screaming in terror and pleading for mercy, some even praying to their gods for salvation. Sarituo has always enjoy instilling terror into these inferior creatures, knowing that they can't even hope to defend themselves against the mighty Stramstin. Their screams of terror had and will continue to put a smile on his face. You can say that he enjoyed looting said system. That was before that crazy bastard called him for reinforcements, and to make things worse, he can't just outright deny the request without the Emperor chopping his head off.

"Kill all inferiors, then we go back for more looting." said Sarituo with a frown as he watched the battle. The new fleet immediately descended upon their enemies, raining deadly beams upon all who oppose the Stramstin.

At first glance, it seemed that the Stramstin beams managed to land direct hits on the Drathian ships. However, as the flashes of light dimmed, the vessels seemed mostly if not entirely unscathed. Fresh from subspace, the Drathian shields were fully charged and at full capacity. They could certainly take the blows. Especially from such a far distance. The ships didn't seem to react for a moment, until without warning, they began forward with the dreadnought at the helm. A brilliant beam of red light burst from the largest of the dreadnought's cannons, directly aimed at the first Stramstin fleet's flagship, in order to cripple it beyond use. A direct hit from such a big gun would be more than enough to pierce shielding, and, in the lack of such, punch a hole straight through a ship's hull.

All the while, the carriers deployed their fighters, the swarm of small ships moving in to intercept the closest of the Stramstin ships, and make sure none of their own fighters could get near the Drathian ships.

Meldon System

"Well.....shit" said Saituo as he took yet another sip of his beverage. "It seems like the crazy bastard is now grounded. We should add some more pressure on the enemy fleet while his ship regenerates."

The commander sat back at his chair and calmly observed the flagship of the said 'crazy bastard's' fleet. It seems like it had gotten a new hole at the side of it's hull, with air rapidly escaping the craft into the vacuum. 'Bastard must be screaming now. I can't wait to see the look on his face' thought Sarituo with a sinister grin on his face.

Meanwhile, said bastard really was screaming in rage. Soldiers panicked throughout the ship as the commander's angry shouting echoed through the hallways.

"HOW THE FUCK THEY PUNCHED A HOLE IN MY SHIP!!! MY FUCKING SHIP!!!! NOW GET YOUR ASSES TO WORK BEFORE I CHOKE YOU WITH YOUR OWN ANTENNAS!!!"

Stramstin repair platforms converged at the hole site, some of them sucked out into space before they managed to anchor themselves onto the ship's surfaces, and applied biosealant onto the damaged site to aid the ship's self repair systems. The ship will live on, but it will have to retreat sooner or later to replenish it's dwindling air supplies.

Seeing that the first enemy flagship has been painfully damaged, Aleksandr ordered the three Tiger Battlecarriers in the fleet to act. The Tigers pointed their main proton collider cannons towards the crippled ship, and charged them with huge amounts of energy. Protons soon collided in a massive thermonuclear fashion and bolts of high temperature plasma blew out of the six barrels of each proton collider cannon in quick succession. They smashed into both the sides and fronts, and destabilized the very atomic structure of the chitinous armor of the enemy ship. However, with their energy drained, squadrons of Stormwinds and Super Andromedae moved to prevent anything from attacking them in their weakened state.

Meldon System

"Direct hit, captain."
Mentioned one of the console attendants at the bridge of the DVC Predator, a younger Drathian of blue skin and vibrant orange hair. Captain Torvjar, standing behind him upon a raised command deck, nodded, and gripped the iron railing of the deck with an equally metallic grip. The rate at which the enemy ships could repair was worrying, however, as the Tiger Battlecarriers moved in, he saw an opening to disable at least one of the enemy fleets.

"Wheel our cruisers around to face the second fleet. Have them protect us while we deal with the first one. I want all bombers en route to the enemy flagship. Make sure every fighter is escorting them there. I want those main cannons disabled as quickly as possible." He looked at the battlefield. The Drathian ships were outnumbered, which didn't fair well for them. However, these enemy ships seemed aggressive, and eager to finish the battle as soon as possible. Perhaps he could use such a thing to his advantage. "Ready secondary batteries! Keep your distance and fire at any enemy vessels intercepting those Tigers!"

In space, the Drathian bombers obtained their orders, and made a beeline towards the Stramsin's first flagship, in the centre of a formation guarded on all sides by fighter craft. They closed the distance alarmingly fast, being smaller and more agile craft than the large Stramsin combat vessels. Once they got close enough, the Drathian ships dropped their payloads, intending to destroy the main weapons on the flagship, and make the vessel a sitting duck for the Tiger Battlecarriers to dispatch, with any luck. The Tigers themselves found support fire in the form of Drathian corrosive cannons, which fired off their acidic green projectiles at any Stramsin ships nearing Aleksandr's own. Contact from the rounds of these weapons would cause the hulls of the affected ship to be eaten and melted away around the area of impact. With the chitinous and organic surface of the Stramsin vessels, the effect may be enhanced.

Meldon System

"Looks like the crazy bastard's in trouble." muttered Sarituo as he observed the battlefield. "Perhaps we could do him a favour by....hmmm"

The Stramstin commander paused for a while to ponder on his choice of words, thinking of a way to gain an advantage upon the enemies. "Perhaps we should use their ships against them......Sounds like an idea that crazy bastard would come up. Send a horde of constructs to every single enemy ship near us, they aren't really expensive anyway, although the Emperor might cut my wages a little bit after he finds out that I'm wasting his resources. By the way, put up some pressure so that our landing craft won't get destroyed immediately."

Yufu

The battle is over in a few hours as the unending horde that is the Stramstin tore through the ranks of the Han defenders with ease. Terrified screams and the discharge of weapons can be heard all over the place as the remaining Han troopers were found and tore apart by the victorious Stramstin constructs.

The Han has lost yet another battle against the mysterious invaders.

"Commander!", a crew member bellowed within the bridge of the flagship. "The Kalrathi and the Darrow has been boarded by... Bioconstructs! And... The Taur has been boarded as well..."

"What?!", Aleksandr lashed. "They managed to infiltrate the only IS battleship we have? Damnit! Should've told Morga to not get too close..."

Meanwhile, in the Taur, a vicious battle within the boarding site abounded. Several Nicassir Sages channeled their psionic power, effectively destroying constructs in droves, and Kampaneya battle walkers and T-68 medium tanks did all they can to keep the enemy at bay. Kinerothin blade masters tore through the horde with their refined blades of koranite, slicing through enemy armor with horrifying ease. Meanwhile, pryzniki from the back supported with their rifles.

Meldon System

Horrifying screeches echoed throughout the enemy ships as the Stramstin constructs poured down upon those who opposed them. Waves and waves of horrifying creatures continued to advance despite suffering heavy losses, stepping over the corpses of their comrades to reach the enemy. Eventually, a few Scouts managed to reach the enemy positions and sunk their teeth into the necks of the defenders. More soon followed.

As more and more Stramstin constructs entered the fray, the defenders became less capable of fending off the invaders. The Regulars ran into cover before peppering the enemies with their Gauss rifles, while a few Raiders clashed with the enemy's melee units with their chitin blades. Meanwhile, Spiders and Beetles engaged the enemy vehicular units, blasting plasma at the armor plates of said machines while supported by the corrosive acid projectiles from the Chargers and Drones. At the rear of the battlefield, Stramstin Artillery launched blobs of plasma against the enemy units.
