I bet it takes a while to make your drawings huh? My stepdad is a more traditional artist and he wanted to try digital because he thought it would be easier but he found that it could be even harder sometimes.

OHH it does!! But you learn to get speedier over time, the inverse is actually true for me haha. I'm pretty slow and bad traditionally because of how much digital art I do, tell your step dad it really just is getting used to the medium! The transition from traditional to digital is super weird but its a little easier than digital to traditional fairly enough (no undo button IRL LOL)

He can hear peoples thoughts whenever he speaks so he chooses to be mute. Every time he hears the prayers people make to him he cries because he can't grant them or tell them how helpless he is, and he has a bad habit of blaming himself whenever something bad happens to him.
His best friend/ love interest is a feisty atheist who doesn't believe God should define her morals and she will do anything to protect her crybaby friend

Left is Taz, a pulsar star who lives in space and speaks like a game show host. There are buttons on his staff that make audience sound effects and he carries a radio with him that is his only connection to earth.
Right is Hikobei, or Hiko, a ballooning spider who's a child prodigy and inventor that moved to live in the sky kingdom. She has 8 legs, but the four behind her back she keeps in a bow-shape so she doesn't scare anyone. Two of her 8 eyes are also far-sighted.
