A relatively short young woman waltzed herself into a dinky coffee shop. She took in the mothy, yet creamy haze of the cafe. Her eyes looked over the interior, noting the following; greenish paint clung onto the walls, a few bulbs flickered on and off every couple seconds, various frames decorated with tainted photographs of the two elderly couple whom owned this establishment. How bright and full of life the couple were with their little cafe. Now the place looked almost lifeless, with the few loyal costumers passing by every now and again.
She sighed softly, looking away and quickly finding herself a table at the far end. Placing her backpack on the creaking table, she dug around for her laptop. She opened it, soon signing in and opening up skype. With her mouse, she scrolled down to find Scarlet. Her heart fluttered, her smile grew a bit longer showing the gap in between her teeth. She hadn't talked to her for a few months so she was quite nervous, yet extremely excited. She nearly squealed when it started to load, covering her hand to keep herself from outwardly embarrassing herself.
