So there's a channel on YouTube called "Terrible Writing Advice" and it is very true to its name. However, I came up with an idea on how you can improve your writing by watching it. Watch each video and do the opposite of what he says. A good tip is to pay close attention when the green question marks appear as it is usually good advice before he says his sarcastic quips.

I honestly get more ideas from that channel than I do anywhere else. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
