Fandom Once Upon A Time...[w/ Soleil]

Seeing as how it seemed she was now stuck on this ship until they got away from the queen - well, hoping that they could get away from the queen - Maeve just internally whined to herself as she clung to the wooden beam in the center of the ship once it had been rocked by the first attack thrown by the queen. She felt incredibly, and miserably out of place and was essentially useless on the ship. She didn't know a thing about them, let alone wasn't really the muscular type to be lifting and moving things around to help the ship get going should she be asked. She was a petite wood sprite that just stayed in the forest, typically aware from harm. Usually when she set out on her determined quests to help those in need, like she had intended to do with Hook, they weren't typically so life threatening. Sometimes dangerous and a bit risky as those that needed sort of help didn't often have normal happy lives, of course. However they also didn't normally encounter danger with the Evil Queen after them and nearly dying.

Graham was helping out on the ship where he could - he didn't really know much about them, but he could get by, and followed Hook's instructions. He didn't particularly care for following a pirates orders, as he didn't think very highly of them, placing them in the same category as thieves and similar scoundrel of the sorts. However, right now wasn't really a time to consider his differences with the likes of a pirate. There were far more important things they had to focus on, which is why Graham dealt with the others directions for the time being, hoisting the anchor up on deck and scowling a bit at the others comment of magic "I try to stay away from it. It doesn't bring anything good" he commented as he glanced over back in the direction where the queen was nearing in on them, as if to further prove his point.

After the anchor was hoisted Graham continued to help the other with the following tasks needed to be done to get the ship going. It seemed neither of the girls really knew what to do on a ship, so it was still a bit slow of a start since there were only two men manning the ship at the moment, and one of which who didn't really know much about the ship and only knew the basics and was following Killian's instructions. Finally they had the ship going and it swayed away from the docks, giving them all a slight sense of relief that they may be able to actually make it out of this. Maybe.

Maeve meanwhile, didn't really feel any sense of relief even if the ship was now no longer docked and they could really start pulling away from the port to try and escape. She still felt trapped, only in a different way and by a different thing this time. When Killian pulled on the wheel all the way, causing the ship to jerk and sway in the water, she squeaked a bit in surprised as she clung tighter to the wood pillow she hadn't left since Killian had dragged her onto the deck so they could get going. "Thing or not, just get it moving so we can get out of here and back to land!" she whined, eyes shut tight as she clung tighter to the wood each time the ship was rocked by another nearby impact of the queen's fireballs tossed their way,

Hook gave Graham a few commands, they were easy enough and he figured the Huntsman could handle it. It seemed he wasn't going to get much help from the two girls who were more worried about holding on for their lives. "What, you've never been on a ship before?" He called out jokingly to Maeve who was clinging to the center pole, laughing at her discomfort. Just being on his ship again seemed to ignite an old spark.. which would've been fine if he wasn't trying to escape the Queen.

Relief filled Lana a little more as she watched the Queen and her men grow smaller in the distance. They were almost out of the bay now, a few rock curving in the shoreline opened up like a mouth to the ocean. She turned to look back where they had come from and frowned a bit when she saw the Queen, and she stood up a little more to get a better look. "She's not even trying anymore.." Something about it didn't feel right - if she knew anything about the Queen it was that she wouldn't give up so easily when it came to torture of another. The twist in her stomach returned as she watched the men scramble down the docks towards another ship.

"We're too far for her magic to do any real damage." Hook said, though he wouldn't put it passed the Queen to have something powerful enough up her sleeve. "What are they doing now?" He asked, still keeping his eyes forward as he led the ship through the opening and trying to miss the large rocks around the shoreline. If the Queen got her hands on a ship, which he suspected she would, then there would be nothing he could do. While he had little doubt the Jolly Roger could hold her own, she would be little help against a ship influenced by magic. They had little weapons on hand as it was, and he was sure his sword would be of much use.

Lana swallowed back the lump in her throat as the men continued down the docks, and her fear was confirmed. "They're taking over a ship.." She said quietly, almost above a whisper - her voice laced with fear. She hadn't noticed she had spoken until receiving a loud 'speak up' from Hook that shook her from her staring. "They're taking over a ship!" She said a bit louder this time, sure of her voice. She clung to the guardrail as she tried craning her neck to get a better view, and she held onto it as she moved. But that wasn't what disturbed her the most. While the army ran for a ship, the Queen continued standing by the dock watching them.. unmoving.

The Queen looked on with a smile, her prefect plan hatched in her mind. She raised her arms, twisting them in a circular motion. She spun her blasts in such a way, causing the water in to bend to her will almost. It twisted and the current began swirling in on itself.

Lana yelped as the ship lurched backwards. Her body pressed into the rail, and she looked on in horror as the current beneath them started to take on a new form.

Hook cursed, feeling the ship as it was pulled back and away from their escape. He moved the wheel, trying to fight the current but already knew it was a losing battle. He could try to get out of it, but it would end with the Jolly Roger sunk at the bottom of the ocean. Only magic could help them now.. magic.. He let go of the wheel suddenly, and it spun out of control as the ship began circling in on itself. Hook ran to the side of the ship, looking down at the tide as he clutched one of his necklaces around his neck. It held their lifeline, but even now part of him would rather attempt swimming for it than using it. He held the bean in his outstretched palm - he had been saving it for the dark one, but if he wanted to live long enough to face him he would have to use it now. He let go of the bean, tossing it into the center of the whirlpool. Closing his eyes he tried to picture the farthest from here he knew of. Home maybe.. but he couldn't, he could only imagine as they went under the place where he had gotten the bean from. Neverland.

If Maeve wasn't so focused on hanging onto the ship, and too afraid to look over in Hook's direction for fear of losing concentration on her grip and accidentally letting go, she almost certainly would have glared over in his direction. Though that didn't stop her from snapping back at him in retort from her spot "I am a WOOD sprite! What in my name suggests I like the water?!" she snapped, though it was probably hard to take her attitude seriously as she continued to cling to one of the wooden poles in the center of the ship that held up the some of the sails. She ship swayed again, and she quickly shut up as her nails dug into the wood, silently wishing this would be over with already. She didn't know what was more terrifying, the Queen that was after them and with intent to kill, if not torture, or the rocky ship she was currently situated on, surrounded by water in which she'd be unable to swim in if she were to fall overboard. It was honestly a very close debate for her, and she couldn't decide what aspect of this situation was the worst.

And then the ship suddenly lurched backwards, the sudden lurch being a lot stronger than all the previous leans and sways of the ship, causing her hands to slip free and a slight scream to fall from her lips as her light body tumbled across the deck, before her back collided into the railing of the ship, not all too far from Lana now as she groaned "I wanna go home~" she whined childishly as she now was clutching to the wooden bars of the railing, the only thing that kept her from rolling right off the ship itself. She didn't really like being closer to the edge and where she could now very clearly see the water, and the angry tidal pool current that was trying to drag them under, and her eyes widened in fear, thinking that they really were going to be goners, and dragged beneath the water.

Graham was doing the best he could to keep up manning the ship with Hook and his directions. Thankfully, he knew enough for the directions to make sense to him, such as understanding directions on a boat, like what the starboard side was and such on, and knowing how to get by. He was also strong enough to be able to handle the laboring work to get the ship sailing, pulling at the rope sails the right way, and walking around Maeve who was slightly in the way as she was clinging to one of the wooden pillars that held some of the sails up. Before long they thankfully had the ship sailing, which was definitely relieving news, but not enough as Lana soon called out how the queens men were taking over a ship. The Jolly Roger may be known to be a fast ship, if not one of the fastest, however it probably wouldn't be likely to get her to that full capacity of speed with only two men manning it, and in comparison to another ship, even if it was a lesser one, that had a whole crew to man it along with the queens powerful magic. They may be sailing, but they weren't out of this by a long shot yet. And just as he was thinking that, the ship lurched unnaturally so all of a sudden, from what Graham could only assume was something of the Queen's doing.

The sudden movement in the ship sent him off his feet stumbling and Maeve as well. He tried to reach out to grab her since he was nearby, but the sudden movement caught them all by surprise and he wasn't prepared, one hand grasping onto the sail rope to keep his footing, his other trying to grab Maeve though was half a second too delayed as she went tumbling. He was relieved to see her stay on the ship though and not be sent overboard, even if it appeared she had a bit of a rough stop against the wooden railing. He cursed a bit seeing the ship being pulled down into the water, glancing over at Hook for direction - hoping he had a plan. But when he looked over at him the captain was looking overboard, appearing to have thrown something and then there was a bright glow surrounding them "What was that?!" he called over the noise of water, but before they new it, the ship was spiraling through the water.

At first Graham had thought that the Queen had succeeded, and they were going to drown, but instead they were surrounded by dark currents seeming to circle all around the entirely of the ship. After a few moments, the water opened up again to the sky where light was coming back down, before it felt as though the ship just landed, into water - which, didn't exactly make sense since they had been in water already. It was a rough landing, and the ship rocked heavily from side to side as it steadied in the new seas, Graham holing onto the rope as his feet struggled to remain steady, until the ship eventually calmed down and stilled to a normal, soft sway a ship might ordinarily have traveling through the sea. As the movements calmed, Graham slowly let go, looking around their surrounding in confusion. There was no sight of the port they had just left, or the queen, or her army. There appeared to be an island in the distance, but otherwise it seemed as though everything had just vanished "What...what just happened? Where are we?"

Maeve had already considered herself dead, clutching to the railing for her life as the ship felt like it was surely going to capsize. If not by the whirlpool they seemed to be caught up in, then by whatever unnatural and concerning glow that came from the water beneath them. Was that the Queen's doing as well? Now on the side of the ship at the railing, Maeve was getting soaked by all the rough sailing, though she was too scared to let go of it to move elsewhere on the ship, fearing the second she let go she would tumble right off the side of the ship and over the railing. Everything happened fast, but before she knew it, somewhere between all the rocking and chaos, they were suddenly in calm waters. Well, after a final large wave splashed heavily over the deck upon what felt like a sort of landing. Once things calmed down though, Maeve still didn't move from her spot "I think I'm going to be sick..." she muttered, her body definitely not taking well to her first time sailing, and let alone a more than unpleasant experience for her first time on a ship.

Neverland

Lana didn't take to the ship almost capsizing very well, in fact she clung to the railing beside Maeve as the whole thing plunged downward. She inhaled large breaths, thinking the next might be her last and she wasn't aware of how long she could hold her breath for. If they went under, there was a possibility of her drowning and the fear of that made her shake with panic - though that might also have something to do with being soaked through. Large waves covered the deck, splashing up against her making her shiver from the cold water. Adrenaline pulsed through her though, which helped her ignore the stabbing pain as her nails dug into her skin from holding onto the railing. She clenched her eyes shut, waiting for the ship to stop trashing and when it finally calmed she braved a first look. The bay was gone, along with the town and the men crashing after them. Now an island stood in it's place, and she blinked back wet eyelashes as she stared at the unfamiliar place.

Hook would've been all too thrilled to have made it out of there alive if it wasn't for the fact that he recognized that island ahead of them. It had taken him nearly two hundred years to make it off the first time, who knew how long this time would trap him for. He had hoped he would never again see that shoreline in front of him. Why didn't he think of another place? He remembered trying to think of home, but then again it had been nearly two hundred years since he had been back there so it wasn't like it was fresh on his mind. Nothing was fresh on his mind these days. He cursed loudly, stumbling back to his feet to get a good look at the damage of his ship.

"What did you do to us?" Lana joined in with the other banter, looking over at Hook who had been thrown from his place.

Hook shook his head at the others, unable to explain fully the hell they were now in. "We're in Neverland.. my only magic bean and I wasted it on Neverland." Saying the last part mostly to himself. Sure they were alive, but what kind of living was this? They would be trapped on this island for who knows how long, always running from Pan and his miscreants. "I saved us from the Queen. That's what I did." He said simply before inspecting further damage on the ship. Some lost cargo, and splintered off pieces would be his best hope.

"Neverland? I've never heard of it.." Lana spoke, finally scrambling to her feet. She rung out her long hair quickly, the water splashing to the floorboards as she made her way over to Maeve. She continued to do the same to her shirt which was now soggy and stuck to her body. "Can we go back?" She asked, wondering how far away they traveled with magic. She didn't understand magic as well as others, but she did know it had great lengths.

"Do you really want to go back? To that?" Hook waved to the nothingness out in the sea where the Queen had once stood. He sighed, "Unfortunately it'll take us more than just a bean to get back."

Back in the Enchanted Forest

The Queen paced in her throne room. How could she have let them go? How did they even escape? From the heart she now held in her hands she knew they were a world away, and place even she couldn't get to. "Bring him in." She bit harshly towards the guards, and few moments later were half dragging in a unkempt looking man. "I have heard stories of your work. A man with a hat. A man who can travel through worlds." She smiled wickedly towards him before returning to her pacing. "I have what you are looking for, your daughter right?" She didn't wait for a response, " She will remain here in one piece as long as you succeed." She smiled again, approaching the man. "I have a job for you to do."

Maeve was initially so focused on not getting sick she didn't immediately recognize that they were in an entirely different location than they had just been moments ago. She continued to clutch to the railing, hauling herself up to at least kneel in front of the railing as she felt nauseous, and had to just sit there for a few minutes to try and overcome the sea-sickness. The fact they were still on water and even with a gentle sway of the ship in the waves didn't help her, opening her eyes finally as she looked out at the water, trying to find something solid that wasn't moving to help with the vertigo - the cause of sea sickness. She'd heard somewhere that to help ease vertigo and the nausea associated with it, it helped to look find something solid that wasn't moving, like land, to readjust the brain, since vertigo had to do with what the body experienced conflicting with what the vision and brain saw.

When she did look out to try and find a solid thing to look at, thinking maybe she'd be looking back out for the docks they had parted from, her eyes widened as she saw something better. Aside from the fact they seemed to be away from initial danger and away from the queen, there was something else.

"Land!" she squealed in excitement, suddenly having the energy to get up to her feet "And it's full of forests! I don't care where we are, let's just go!" she said eagerly as she crossed over to Hook in her excitement at seeing land again, and the prospect of getting off of the ship. She didn't realize that despite not having a whole lot of inhabitants on the island, this place was actually pretty dangerous. It may not be her home forest, but any forest could feel like home to her.

In her attempts to cross over to Hook and up the stairs by the wheel where he was getting up, she had stumbled a bit with another sway, still not used to having 'sea legs' yet as she held onto the railing, before making her way up the stairs to get a better look at the island "What is this Neverland anyways? I haven't heard of it before either. Sounds like you've been here though before?" she questioned curiously, moving to wring out her own sopping wet hair like Lana. Her clothes were of course soaked too, but considering the creature and wooden-living sprite she was, she didn't wear quite as much as the ordinary female, living here with little to really have to wring out.

* * *

Back in the Enchanted Forest, Jefferson had been rounded up by the Evil Queen's guards and brought to the palace. He'd been a mess, and he looked it in appearance. He had been everywhere looking for his daughter. An incident in the past had lead to an unexpected separation, and Jefferson had been everywhere searching for the only family he had left. He'd often gotten into trouble in the past, involving himself in shady business to try and provide the best he could for his daughter, because the best is exactly what she deserved. However he'd gotten too ambition on one job, and it lead to a longer separation than expected from his daughter. When he'd managed to make it back home, she was gone. He'd searched everywhere, through his world and others, to no avail. The loss of his daughter sent him into a spiral of depression.

It wasn't a secret to those who knew of him that had lost something of great value, though being the recluse man he was in his solitary, holed up trying to perfect ways to locate his daughter, not many knew exactly what it was he had lost. At being summoned by the queen, he was aggravated and a bit irritable, not wanting anything to do with the queen as he felt it was a waste of his time. He didn't have time to spend here. To help anyone else other than himself, and his daughter. There was no time. There were far more important things he could be spending this time on.

He was about to outright refuse the queen, until she promised him the one thing he had been in search of these past few years. Jefferson wasn't the most moral of men, he'd never been known to be either, though he was known to be genuine and sincere for those he loved, such as his daughter. But he was willing to do unsavory things for those he cared about, and if it meant getting his daughter back, he wasn't about to stop now. He narrowed his eyes a bit, clenching his fist a bit in frustration as though life was taunting him. The queen had his daughter, she was here - so close to him, yet he still couldn't reach her.

"What is it you need me to do?"

"It may be land, but I wouldn't be swimming to shore just yet." Hook said shortly. The sprite seemed to pull herself together long enough to see land, though he didn't have the heart to tell her that land might swallow her whole. Okay, maybe he did have the heart. "There are no inhabitants, except for one person and his followers." He looked forward, studying the island as if he hadn't been here mer months ago. Or had it been longer? He finally pulled his eyes away from the scene as he caught the wood sprite's gaze. "Yes, I've been here. Once, and it took me years to get off." He left out the part about those years being nearly 200, that would hardly help them be proactive in getting off.

"Years?" Lana question, finishing up wringing out her clothes. She pulled off her jacket, and the wet fabric stuck to her skin before she was able to lay it out on a cargo box that hadn't seemed to go overbaord. It was humid here, more humid than back home. She had never been out of her realm before, and the humidity was definitely not on her list of approved climates. At least now that she had experienced it. "How did you get off last time? Can't we just go the same way?" She asked curiously, not understanding the concept on Neverland. Surely they could sail away, they had a ship after all. "Can we not leave on your ship?"

Hook shook his head, pulling his eyes from Maeve and raking them over Lana's drenched appearance. "Unfortunately it's not as simple as that. I've tried before of course, but no matter how long we sailed away, the island never grew smaller." They were all but the stuck there for the time being.

Lana frowned a bit at his comment, though didn't question it further. Obviously they couldn't leave here on conventional methods. If he escaped once, she was optimistic he would be able to pull it off again. At least he would know what not to do, and where to steer clear of while they were here. Part of her felt for her friend Maeve. She also wanted to be back on solid ground, but something about the Pirate's wariness made her uneasy. It almost seemed like he thought the land itself was a threat.

+Back in the Enchanted Forest+

The Queen smiled at his acceptance, even if it was begrudgingly - she knew the man in front of her would go to lengths for his broken family and she had no problem in exploiting him for her own pleasure and gain. " I need you to find someone for me and bring her back here." She tossed the flyer of Snow White's face, the one she had made a few months back, they were tacked up all around the Enchanted Forest. "I'm sure you've heard of her. I need you to go to this world called Neverland. She will be there, with three others. She is not an easy one to catch, but you shall be awarded if you succeed. You will be reunited with your daughter, and she shall want for nothing the rest of her life." Whether she intended to keep up with that last promise was beyond her. For now, she decided to throw it in to help nudge him in the right direction. "I should warn you, not many have escaped from Neverland before. Take what you need, but don't take too much time. I wouldn't want to get bored of poor Grace here." She taunted, laughing at his expense shortly.

Hearing Hook's negative outlook on the island and what it held for them, Maeve huffed a bit in disappointment with a slight pout, listening to Hook go on negatively, listing in implications how it was a dangerous island, how it wasn't so easy and took him a while to escape it the last time he was here, and how they couldn't just sail on away from the island, indicating that they were essentially trapped here for the time being. Her disappointment however came from him, rather than the outlook on their situation and the island, as she turned to face him "See, this is exactly why I'm here in the first place for you. You're so negative! You've gotten off it before, so that means it's possible to do it again!" she stated matter of factly as she turned her attention back to the island with a grin "besides, I doubt you were here with a wood sprite before. Woods are where I survive the best. We'll be fine" she waved off his worries as she looked on ahead to the island again "So full speed ahead, Captain!" she grinned childishly in her mock attempt to sound like a pirate with their speech.

Graham wasn't so convinced on this island, unlike Maeve's optimistic attitude about it. But he supposed it fit character for what he'd heard about sprites. He'd never met one himself before, but he heard how they were full of unending positively and playfulness in a child-like manner, being whimsical and mischievous at the same time, though their mischievousness was usually for good intent, even though it often caused those they targeted hardships, which gave them a bad rep for most to want to stay away from, they were genuinely good natured and in the end did end up succeeding in bettering or helping those they felt needed it, even if it was a bit of a rough road getting their. He guessed for whatever reasons she had set her sights on helping Hook, and he had a feeling this island would be one of the first bumps in the road to helping him.

"In any case, we can't stay on this ship forever. Besides, I'm holding to my promise. I said the land we dock at I'm going my separate ways. We may be in a different realm but I still cant trust what the Queen may or may not make me do. So once we dock I'll be on my own way" he commented. Even if this land held threats, he was sure he could handle them himself. He was a Huntsman after all, and he also still had his best friend with him - the wolf that had steadied itself below deck during the rough transportation so it didn't fall overboard or anything, though, now that they were back on calm waters it was back by his heel as they headed towards the island.

Jefferson listened to the woman as she spoke of wanting him to catch Snow White, a face he recognized having seen on many other fliers all over the realm. He glanced down at the face, before back up at the Queen as she explained she wanted her caught and brought back here, which he supposed wasn't the worst. She could have asked him to kill the poor girl, though he was glad he wouldn't have to do that. He listened to all of what she had to say, though tensed a bit with a glare at her last comment regarding his daughter "I swear if you lay one hand on her-" he started to snap, before clenching his fists and cutting himself off "I'll get what you want. You better hold up your end of the deal" he glared, before departing the room once she was done speaking with him.

Once leaving, he first cleaned himself up a bit for the first time in a while, figuring it would help in his attempt to be approachable, hoping he could just easily get the girl to go off with him without a fight. Once he was ready, he tossed his hat to spin on the floor, before jumping inside the hat to arrive in Neverland, appearing out in the middle of a forest somewhere.

Hook looked on at Maeve with a blank expression, obviously not moved in her speech of optimism. "The last time I followed you I ended up with the an army after me." He said a bit coldly. He wasn't looking forward to many more hours with the mischievous sprite who seemed to attract the wrong type of attention. Who knew what other enemies she might have, purposefully or not. He had figured she was similar to mermaids, however spent her time on land instead of murky waters. While mermaids lured ships to their death, she would lure unsuspecting men into the forest. Though that description wasn't 100 percent correct either. She seemed eager to help which didn't fit a profile of a mermaid.

Lana knew a fair amount of the species her friend was, most of it had come from Maeve herself. She knew her friend would see the best option with little concern to the consequences it may cause. Lana tended to be a bit more practical, thinking through things before acting. However, she liked to spend time around her friend's optimism knowing it lessened her more cynical views. With this situation though she was wary, as she could sense the captain's unease about the place. He had seen what lies in those woods and she swallowed back a wave of fear. It wasn't her ship afterall, and he had saved her from the Queen so she owed him at least following his orders enough to get home.

"Fine, the last time I found a way home I was on the godforsaken island. So we'll start there." Hook said grudgingly. He was less than looking forward to leaving his ship knowing Pan could be anywhere, and almost resented the wood sprite for delaying his journey back in the enchanted forest - causing him to end up here. He straightened himself up a bit before taking a hold of the wheel, turning it slightly and aimed for shore.

Lana looked to Graham as they began closing in on the beach, and she gripped the guard rail again. She felt bad for getting him caught up in everything, he didn't deserve to be in the cross fire of the Queen. "Thank you..for not killing me." She smiled sadly, knowing that he would have to leave. Even though part of her didn't want him to be out there alone, she also couldn't argue with his reasoning. The Queen still had his heart, making him a danger to her. "Watch his back, okay?" She said to the wolf who had come out of hiding. "If we find a way off.." She hesitated, "..we'll try and find you."

"We'll try and send you a signal, though it'll have to be right before we leave." Hook said, knowing what his words meant. They could only help him get off if he happened to be right in the immediate area. It was too risky to send a signal and wait around while Pan also saw it. As they approached the white sand he turned to Maeve, "Can you hold this for me?" Motioning towards the wheel. "Don't move it..just stand there and hold it straight." He said, pleading she wouldn't try anything. He went back down the stairs to the levee system, after a few minutes was able to lower the anchor and he stumbled back as it caught on the ocean floor.

Hearing Hook complain about the trouble she's caused him already, such getting caught up in the chase from the army, she smiled a bit sheepishly "Heyyy, that wasn't my fault though! They weren't after me, and it's not as though I was trying to lead you to them or them to you" she countered in her defense. Even if she had been one to encourage him letting Lana and Graham on the ship to help them get away from the queen and her army "besides, even if were stuck here for the time being, you've already helped Lana get away from the Queen, so it all ended well. And this will too" she said confidently. Thankfully in the end he did seem to agree to dock the ship so they could step foot on the island, to which Maeve was very much looking forward to. She still felt a bit nauseous and her legs occasionally wobbled beneath her with the swaying of the ship.

Graham rolled his eyes a bit as he listened to the slight bickering between Hook and Maeve, turning away from them as he tried to ignore the headache he felt coming on, and he wasn't sure if it was from all the stress and overall dangerous situation from the queen, to the portal, to this island, or if it was simply caused by Maeve and Hook. Maybe it really was in his own best interest as well to part ways from the group as well. He had a feeling he would definitely have a headache before long if Maeve and Hook stuck around each other for long, which, seemed inevitable from the wood sprites intentions.

Hearing Lana's voice after he commented on how he would part ways once they hit the island, he nodded to her, though his face was still a bit apologetic "You don't need to thank me. You're innocent, and not the same girl the queen is even looking for. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the actual girl she's after is innocent too" he sighed a bit "I'm sorry I couldn't do more...unfortunately the Queen will probably send someone in my place after you" he advised her, though left out the likely probability the queen, having his heart, would kill him now that he had failed and was likely useless "Watch your back" he warned, knowing the queen wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted.

Hearing her offering to try and help him get off from this place as well once they found a way, and Hook's comment in agreement to try if they could and he was close enough, he smiled a bit with a nod "I appreciate that...but until I have my heart back, it's probably best we remain in separate realms. I'm a great hunter, but I can't do much of that if who I'm sent after is somewhere I physically cannot get to" he commented.

When Maeve was instructed to hold the wheel, she looked a bit nervous. "Uh, are you sure?" she questioned, feeling Lana might be a better choice, since she wasn't quite so afraid of the ship and water as she was. Hearing all she had to do was just hold it still, she nodded her head "Aye aye Capt'n" she chimed childishly as her hands replaced his on the wheel once he had left it, holding it steady. She watched as Hook went about preparing the ship to dock, and set the anchor to the sea floor, and she stumbled a bit as she held tighter to the wheel as the ship jerked upon the anchor hitting land and holding it in place.

Jefferson meanwhile had just arrived in Neverland himself, and having brought a companion along with him. Since he didn't know the realm well - or at all, really - he had hopes of this being an easy task with the aide of his hat. He'd briefly explained the rules of his hat to the Queen, since ideally he just wanted to hop over there, grab the girl, and come back. But if he went himself, he couldn't come back with the girl through the hat since she would be a +1. Explaining this to the queen, and how she'd be able to have the girl that much quicker - and thus him have his daughter that much quicker - she had giving him a useless nobody he could take along with him for the trip there, and to leave there to replace with the girl when he came back. Of course, they didn't explain the details of this to the person who came along with him, simply saying to the expendable guard how he was there to help Jefferson. Which technically wasn't a lie.

Lana nodded at Graham's words. She wondered about the real girl the Queen was after, and if she really was as bad as the fliers lead to believe. She also didn't argue with his decision to live on the island and away from their realm though she was sorry things ended this way for him. "Well, good luck." She smiled, knowing there was nothing left to be said on the subject. When the ship lurched back, she was thrown from her thoughts and she gripped the railing tighter until the ship returned to it's normal sway. While she had little experience with ships, or the sea for that matter, she was starting to feel more confident walking on the deck and had forgotten she hadn't been holding on.

Hook tied down the levee system before moving to the sail and maneuvering the ropes a bit to get it settled for docking. He didn't want to be on land for too long, and if they needed a quick get away everything needed to be ready and set up to sail. "Great job, you didn't kill us." He called from the lower deck up. He made his way over to the side of the ship, looking out at the beach. They were still in the water a good distance away but it being low tide there was a small strip of a sand bar that ran near his ship. He was glad, he wasn't sure the girls even knew how to swim and this would make it easier getting to and from the Jolly Roger. "Looks like we won't be swimming after all." He said sarcastically, chuckling a bit at the expression from Lana. "We'll need supplies below deck before we leave." He said before opening the hatch that went under the ship.

It hadn't even crossed her mind. Of course there wouldn't be a dock for them, but the idea of actually swimming made Lana pale. She had learned from a young age how to swim, and the water itself didn't necessarily scare her, but she had only ever been in smaller lakes or the pond she had behind her house growing up. Never large bodies of water with the threat of sharks. She was relieved to learn they wouldn't have to venture into the water at all, and sighed out a deep breath before looking over at Maeve and rolling her eyes at the pirate. She turned then, making her way back down to the lower level where Hook was digging through cargo crates. "What exactly are you looking for?" She said and she began digging through a couple of crates herself.

Without answering, he tossed her a dark colored bag that was deflated from being empty. "Here, take this. Fill it with whatever you can find." He didn't receive a response so he took that as an answer. He always kept enough supplies down here for months out at sea for a large amount of men, although he hadn't been expecting to go anywhere he still had some things left over to help them out a bit. Small containers of food, bits of rope, and matches were necessary and he also tucked a bottle of rum into the bag he held for himself.

Lana grabbed the bag she was given and continued her search. She found several canteens for holding water, and she grabbed a couple before storing them inside. She wasn't sure how long they intended to be away from the ship. She had grown accustomed to living outdoors and surviving off what she could hunt or find, but she was unfamiliar with this forest and didn't want to be under prepared. She still had her bow laced around her body, which she was surprised to find it hadn't fallen off - but was thankful she had it in case she needed to defend herself or hunt for food.

Finally his bag was full, and he slung the weight over a shoulder before heading back upstairs. "We should head out before it gets dark."

When congratulated on not having killed them, Maeve just grinned widely "Thanks!" she replied proudly of herself while watching him finish setting the ship up to dock, while also keeping it in a ready position to sail off quickly if need be. Maeve still didn't see much threat in the island, since she considered the ocean more of a threat than land. She did keep a mind though to be on guard a bit at least, since he had mentioned someone and his followers being on this island who were ones to be watched. She wondered what kind of people they were. On and island like this, perhaps they were pirates as well? Or natives to the island who didn't like outsiders perhaps, since it was so secluded and uninhabited by others, seeming to almost never get any visitors.

Graham nodded a bit with a small smile when she had wished him luck "And same to you" he replied as he glanced out at the island when the ship jerked and came to a stop, aside from it's light swaying in the gently waves around the island "Maybe one day we'll meet again. Hopefully when I have my heart back" he joked lightly with a small smile, before watching Maeve followed Hook downstairs to help collect things for their journey. "And good luck with those two, too. I have a feeling they'll be handful" he half joked and was serious, before nodding to her as she went along to help collect things below deck to supply themselves with. By the time any of them would come back up on deck, Graham and his wolf would be gone and out of sight.

As she was wondering what these people were like, she certainly wasn't considering that they might just be children. Watching as Hook went below deck, commenting on something about gathering supplies before they ventured into the island, she let go of the wheel, figuring it was safe to do so now, and she followed along below deck, looking around curiously. She had to admit, that it actually did seem a bit nicer once below deck, and she was almost able to forget they were surrounded by water, as the space below the ship was more enclosed and definitely gave a more livable sort of feeling to it.

She was looking around at things curiously, more so being nosy rather than helpful, until Lana had joined them below deck and was handed a bag instructed to gather things. Maeve then decided to be more helpful, and looked for things that they might be able to use or that would come in handy on an island. Being a sprite who naturally lived off the environment and in the forest, she didn't use as many man-made tools or object, though did often make her own, so she wasn't entirely sure what humans considered useful during these sorts of situation. She did find a few canteens, as well as tossed some food into the bag since she while she did live in forests, she hadn't been to this one before, so she didn't know if there was much if any type of eatable food on the island. She figured if there were people who lived here, there likely was, but it was probably better to be safe than sorry. She found a few knifes and other items that could be considered weapons as well, and tossed those into the bag as well.

Once both bags were full and they were ready, she followed Hook back up on deck excitedly, more than eager to step foot on solid land again. While she had been away from forests before, and occasionally visited towns and villages outside the forests, she typically never strayed too far from one, let alone had never before gotten on a ship and traveled on sea before, entirely away from land. She was about ready to jump off the ship to get to land, though frowned a bit in disappointment at the fact she'd still have to go through water. It wasn't that she minded getting wet - her clothes were still wet from all the waves and splashing earlier anyways, but rather the sandbar beside the ship that led to the shore of the island wasn't all that big, and they were otherwise still surrounded by water. Her desire to be back on land won out against her discomfort though, and once off the ship and on the sandbar she quickly headed down it, her feet running in excitement as she clung to the first tree she saw "Finally! Land!" she breathed in relief. It hadn't even been all that long that they'd been on the ship and in the water, probably no more than an hour from when they got on the ship to just now.

Having arrived on the island, Jefferson sighed a bit in slight annoyance at this whole situation to begin with. He didn't particularly like the thought of capturing and handing some girl over to the Queen. Even if she'd actually done something wrong, he knew whatever the queen had in store for her likely wouldn't be good. If he had a choice, he wouldn't want to participate in condemning the girl, but his own daughter was at stake here, and he would do whatever it took to get her back. She was his priority, and he felt sorry for this girl Snow White, but his little girl came first.

Picking his hat up off the forest floor, he brushed off the dirt collected on it from the travel, before placing it back atop his head "Come on, I want to get this over with" he muttered to the naive guard that had tagged along with him so that he could take Snow back through the hat with him in his place. Walking through the island, they tried to find their way towards the shore, the queen having told him that the group had escaped on a ship, so they likely were on a ship. Or if not on it still, then he could hopefully still find it at least to track them down. As they trudged through the forest however, one of the steps they took echoed a snapping sound, which didn't sound good at all. Noting the sound had come from a step the guard took, Jefferson quickly backed away from the male just in time to avoid being scooped up by the camouflaged netting on the ground that had been triggered, and wrapped the guard up in the net, suspended in air from where it hung from a branch.

Cursing a bit, Jefferson glanced around knowing whoever set that trap likely was nearby, and he doubted it was the group he was after. The guard was calling for the man to help him, but Jefferson figured this was a good way to get the guard off his tail so he didn't have to worry about him. That, and without the queens guard with him he'd likely be able to approach Snow more easily and appear less suspicious if he was by himself. The guard had dressed down for the occassion and wasn't in his identifiable uniform suit and armor, but he'd rather not take the chance of them somehow identifying him as a guard, and so he tipped his hat to the male "Sorry friend" he nodded to the man before quickly taking off into the forest, leaving him behind.

With a full bag, Lana tossed the sack around her shoulders and then the bow on top of that. She felt slightly packed down from the weight but it wasn't unbearable, only a little discomfort. They had been below deck rifling through different crates and loose sacks for under fifteen minutes, and she was quite surprised how quickly they were all able to locate usable items. It seemed this pirate planned for such events. She was curious now about the man what kind of adventures he had been on. She didn't have many adventures, she mainly hid out in the forest just trying to survive for as long as she can. This was the farthest she had been anywhere and was unequipped to handle it. She figured it wouldn't be much different from her normal routine though, just trying to hide from predators and keep herself alive.

The compartments below deck were always kept up with since he did most of his sleeping in here. And with no one but himself it rarely got used except for his private room. Looking around, he decided he had gathered enough and headed for the stairs. He could hear the footsteps of the two girls behind him as he appeared back on the deck. It was late afternoon, they would get a decent amount of walking in before they had to stop for the night which he was grateful for. There was no question Pan or his lackeys had seen the sudden appearance of his ship. Hopefully they could hide better out in the forest. Things didn't end well with Pan the last time he was here, and was sure he wouldn't be openly welcomed back in. When the girls were done, he locked the hatch down and secured what little he had not already. He was about to comment on leaving when the smaller girl practically lept off the ship and went running down the sand bar. "Christ.." He muttered, before climbing down and following after.

Lana thought about Graham's words, how Hook and Maeve would be a hand full and after watching her friend all but cling to the nearest tree she knew he was right. She didn't fully trust Hook, and that alone could be a lot to handle but she was left without any other options at present. She had followed after Hook, making it down to the sand bar and began walking towards shore. There was still water to cross through, but she was still damp from the Queen's attempt at killing them so it didn't cause much discomfort. When they finally caught up to her friend, she laughed at Hook's stare, "The girl likes her trees." She said, nodding towards the scene. "She's a wood sprite, what do you except?" She said chuckling again.

Hook shook his head a bit in annoyance, rolling his eyes a bit at Lana's comment. "Alright, alright playtime's over." He said before heading further from the water and into the treeline. He fell into silence as they travel through the thick forest, he held out his sword to cut away at large branches and leaves that fell in the path. "If I tell you to hide, you hide. If I tell you to run, run. Got it? I'm not getting chased down because you didn't want to listen." He said as he continued leading the way. He felt little remorse to the idea of leaving them behind if they fell out of line. He wasn't about to get trapped by Pan, not even for them.

"Yeah, yeah master we got it." Lana bit out sarcastically, following him down the path. They had been at it for quite awhile, though her body was used to the feel of hiking and she hit a comfortable stride. Her clothes had begun to dry and she was feeling a bit like herself again. The adrenaline from earlier had worn off, leaving her muscles to ache a bit but she pushed through it. "What's so bad about this place again? Is it the island itself or just some group of people?" She asked, looking around. It seemed pretty normal to her but she didn't want to underestimate it either.

"It's ruler, Pan, lives for the torments of others. If you're caught by him your death will not be a swift one." He said, using his hook to cut at a stray branch by his face. "There are also plants fuled by magic and are quite lethal." His mind thought of the dream shade he had encountered on his first trip here with Liam. He pushed passed his loss for his brother and continued on the path. Taking one step further, he hesitated at the sound of an unnatural snap of a branch. "Get down." He hissed quietly at them, shoving them in the direction of some larger bushes.

Lana frowned a bit at his hastiness, not hearing the snap of a branch. It wasn't until being half thrown at a cluster of large bushes that she hear the sound. running. Someone was running, but it wasn't just one pair of footsteps. Someone was being chased.

As Jefferson left the poor guard behind, stuck in the netting, he made his way to what he hoped was the right direction of the shore. He didn't even know he was on an island, so he wasn't aware of the fact that technically no matter what direction he went in he would eventually reach the water so long as he went in a straight path. Even then though, he'd have to hope he was going in the right direction of where their ship was at. Maybe he should have kept that guard around. He might have been useful at least in locating Snow White, whom he still of course had yet to realize that the girl he was after was not the one the Queen wanted - not that the queen herself realized that either though. Sighing to himself, he half debated going back for the guard. He was unfamiliar land, maybe it would have been smart to keep him around. But then again the second he found Snow he planned to hop right on into his hat, dragging her along with him, so he could just be done and over with with this stupid job.

Just as he was thinking this over though, he suddenly heard the sound of voices, a "Over here!", followed by a "This way!", and then the sound of several pairs of running feet. At first, Jefferson was hopeful enough to think that perhaps whoever it was, was talking about the group he was in search of, and maybe he could just follow the sound of them and they would lead him right to the girl. But then after another moment of silence and hesitation, he realized he thought wrong. The sound of footsteps grew louder, as they were definitely heading in his direction. Cursing, he quickly turned and began running once realizing that they were after him. He had been hoping he could just quickly come and go from this realm without any real trouble, aside from the trouble he might encounter when trying to kidnap the girl, of course. But it seemed fate would not be so kind to him - it never had been whenever it came close to him finally having his daughter back. It seemed anytime he got close, he was shoved several steps backwards, and this was just another one of those obstacles trying to delay him. But he was determined not to let fate's cruel intentions get the best of him this time.

Once reaching the sandy shore, Maeve clung onto the nearest tree she could find, falling to the ground beside the relatively thing tree, sitting in front of it as she quite literally hugged the tree, wrapping her arms around it along with her legs since it was thin enough. She let out a heavy sigh of relieve at finally being on stable land again, and surrounded by trees and foliage. She pressed her face to the side of the tree, opening her eyes when she heard Hook and Lana's voices as they had caught up to her and she pouted a bit at Hook's clear complaints regarding her behavior "I'm not playing. Trees are quite vital to my health you know" she huffed as she got up from the tree.

Letting go of the tree, she got up as her bare feet sunk into the sand ground, following him deeper into the treeline as she could feel the ground beneath her feet change from sand to dirty and roots, along with other fallen forest debris. She frowned a bit at the way he hacked away at vines and branches in their way, listening as he went on about listening to him and following his orders, though she did let out a slight snicker at Lana's comment, smiling at her friend before turning back to Hook "No wonder you consider this forest dangerous. I'd try to attack you too if you hacked away at me like that" she commented as she reached a hand forward onto his hooked wrist that was swiping and cutting away at vines, lowering it "Besides, if we're trying to be sneaky and quite, making all this noise cutting through plants, as well as leaving a traceable trail from your slicing away isn't going to help us, is it?" she countered him, before looking ahead at the direction he had been going. Being a wood sprite, she had influence over controlling nature, just as she had done before with the vines and tree like barricade she had grown on the edge of the forest to delay the queen and her men after them. Similarly, with her feet connecting to the ground of the forest, where all the roots ran through the dirt beneath her bare feet, she was able to easy influence the vines and branches to move silently out of their way, where once they passed they would go back to how they were, leaving no trace of them having passed through here.

Jefferson wasn't sure quite how long it had been that he was being chased, but it had been long enough that his legs were struggling to keep up with his flight, and his lungs strained for hair. Every time he thought he'd lose his pursuers, it would only be moments later that he heard them closing in on him once again and he'd be back at it again running. He made it through some paths, eventually following down one, he could hear the arrows whizzing by him, causing him to curse since that meant they were in close enough range to see him and attack. Thankfully, no arrow had hit him. Not his physical body anyways. Just as he considered himself lucky and that he might evade them as he gained some distance, he stopped short when he felt air on his head, and the weightless feeling of his hat flying from it's place, an arrow piercing through it and pinning it to a tree "My hat!" he cursed, quickly turning on his heel to retrieve it, but by the time he'd done that, there were four boys that had him surrounded.

When Hook had stopped walking, and a moment later shoved them towards thicker bushes, she stumbled a bit, catching herself as she moved to crouch on her hands and knees, looking to him curiously. If she wasn't aware of the fact they needed to be quite and were trying to remain undetected, she would have snapped at the pirate for pushing them around, with barely enough of a warning. Instead though she just huffed, before turning her attention to peer through the gaps in the bushes to see what was going on. As she looked out, she saw one man coming through the pathway first, followed by a group of children that seemed to be chasing him. Even though they were children though, their eyes held anything but innocence in them as they chased the man down. Shooting arrows and running at him with knives. Her eyes widened a bit as he seemed to get cornered "We've got to help him!" she protested in a hushed voice to Lana and Hook, who the male seemed to have no interest in making themselves known.

Maeve honestly did try to listen to him at first. But when it seemed like the stranger was in some real trouble, she couldn't hold back anymore "That's it! They're just children, how dangerous could they be anyways!" she exclaimed, not realizing that these children were the same group of people that Hook had been trying to warn them about ever since they had first arrived here. With that in mind, she then quickly moved through the foliage, though still being smart and trying to stay as hidden as possible, she used the forest to her advantage, like she'd said previously, the forest was where she thrived the best.

Thin vines seemed to snake out from the surrounding bushes around the boys, one by one picking them off and disarming or trapping them one way or another. It wasn't the entire group of boys that followed Pan, nor was Pan himself there, which was likely why it wasn't quite so difficult to catch them by surprise and trip them up. While they were distracted by the forest and vines attacking them, staying hidden within the bushes, Maeve grabbed Jefferson, yanking him back into the cover of the bushes "Quick, lets go!" she hushed to Hook and Lana, hoping maybe they could create some distance before any backup of the boys had arrived.

Jefferson was in a tight spot, surrounded, as well as his hat confiscated by one of the boys who wore it on his head, a slight hole in the center of the top of the hat from where it had been pierced through by the arrow, and Jefferson grit his teeth as he glared at the child with his hat. His way out of here. If it even still worked now. He hoped the damage was small enough he could work with it enough to at least get himself and Snow back to the queen. But even then he still had to get it, which right now, he wasn't sure if he'd even get out of this situation. And there were only four of them, where he had a feeling there were more where they had come from.

Just as he was trying to come up with how he was going to get out of this, he noticed vines snaking their way towards them from behind the boys. At first, he thought it was another trap of sorts of these boys' doing. But then one wrapped around one of their ankles, yanking them back with a tug and causing the boy to fall flat on his face. His eyes widened a bit, as he stared on with surprised as the fines continued to immobilize the other three in various ways, and he then felt himself being grabbed and yanked back into the bushes. He initially squirmed and fought back, thinking it were the magical vines coming for him next, before he realized it was a girl...though upon closer inspection of her pointed ears and unique markings, he realized she wasn't human, as as she turned to speak, he realized there were others with her. One of those others being the girl he was looking for. This was the group he'd been looking for.

His eyes widened in amazement and disbelief....his luck had been a bit rotten up until now arriving on this island, but now, not only was he saved from those boys, but by none other than the people he was searching for, his eyes staring at Lana as if in disbelief. It was her...all he needed to do was grab her and....his hat! Dammit! He mentally scowled over in his head, glancing back in the direction of where the boy had been with his hat but by now they had already scurried off in search of him again.

"Nice trick." Hook muttered as he watched the vines pulled back away from the path. Purely out of spite, he continued to swipe at a few stray leaves here and there - nothing to make a lasting impact or make their path noticeable but just enough to bug the wood sprite. At the sound of the footsteps, he was able to get the girls down and hidden behind a few larger bushes. He thought it had been too late, that they had been spotted but it seemed the pursuers were only focused on the man they were running after. He didn't recognize the man, but he knew immediately the children were apart of Pan's group. He was quite satisfied with how this would turn out, as it seemed they were nicely hidden. He peered through the leaves, getting a glimpse of the scene unfolding. He was confused by the apperence of this man, as of course there are no adults on Neverland. What was he doing here?

Lana's body protested at the sudden movement causing her to drop to the ground and crouch at an uncomfortable angle. What the hell? She peeked through the leaves a bit, trying to get a better look at who they were hiding from. Children? They were hiding from children? She had to swallow back the scoff that had risen in her throat, there had to be some reason Hook saw them as a threat, right? She looked on at the four small silhouettes who were holding various weapons wondering how they ended up with such violent tendencies. She sat back on her heels, hoping they would move on soon so she could cease the aching in her leg when Maeve spoke up. She didn't have the kind heart of her friend, and later would feel bad that she hadn't thought twice about the man or trying to help him. Maybe it was the years of only looking after herself that caused a coolness in her heart. At least she hoped that was the only reason.

"Wait.. you can't.." Hook started as Maeve jumped from her spot disregarding all of his efforts to keep them from attracting attention. He reached out to stop her, but his hand feel through empty space and she was gone. He remained in his spot until he saw the boys' being disarmed and held back from any attempts at fighting back. Someone needed to talk to this girl about barreling head first into dangerous situations. It wouldn't help anyone if they ended up getting killed in the process. This guy could be a threat and here she is trying to save him. His pirate demeanor didn't go well with the rescuing type.

Lana remained crouched as Maeve returned with the stranger. She frowned instantly, almost glaring at the look she was getting from him. Why was he staring at her like that? Even with her friend's hushed whispers to run, she was hesitant to bring along this man - she hardly needed another person to be suspicious of, Hook was more than enough for her to handle. "We don't know him." She hissed back at Maeve and motioned towards him as if he wasn't standing right there. And there was something about the way he looked at her that set her off a bit. She then heard the boys' taking off in pursuit, knowing they could be seen at any second if they happened to go in this direction.

Hook eyed the man. He had been right, he hadn't recognized the stranger which of course made him wonder why this man was here in the first place.. because it couldn't be anything good whether he came here voluntarily or by accident. "Why don't we discuss this more ..while they get a chance to escape!" He spoke impatiently. Sooner or later more lost boys' would show up and they would be harder to fend off than just the four. He wasn't about to wait around for them to make up their minds. "Let's just get out of here first." He said before taking off in the opposite direction he had heard the boys' going. He moved briskly, not trying to be heard with loud running footsteps but he kept his pace even and taking quick long strides.

"Don't try anything." Lana spoke quickly before hurriedly taking off in the direction of Hook's disappearing form. While she didn't like it one bit, she would have to bare being with the stranger a little longer. Unless of course he decided to take off in a different direction, something she had been hoping for. She had to jog to keep up with Hook who had seemed to picked up the pace.

"If they didn't know we were here, they sure as hell do now." Hook said, after hearing footsteps catching up to him.

Disregarding any complained thrown her way from Hook, Maeve quickly went ahead to try and help the stranger. When taken by surprise, the four boys were relatively easy to disarm and immobilize long enough for her to grab the stranger and pull him back into their hiding spot behind the bushes. Were these children really all that scary and dangerous? Or maybe Hook just really wasn't as much of a fighter as he gave the impression of. She didn't see why they should be so scared of some children, especially if the entire group of them was just more children. Honestly, how scary could they be? And when taken by surprise, it made it rather easy for Maeve to slip in and rescue the stranger before they could really even see what happened. But having been in hiding without the children knowing they were here, and now having given away that there were others on the island, she'd probably given away any last chance of taking them by surprise, now that their presence was known, and they were on their land now.

Still, she didn't think too much about that, and was rather proudly holding the strange man by the arm "See, easy" she chimed, before then commenting on how they should probably really get moving though and find a new location to hide out in. Although hearing Lana's disapproval of the new member addition, she pouted a bit "But you don't know him either" she motioned to Hook as she pointed out to her friend, and yet here she was still following along with him - even if she really hadn't much of a choice "Besides....what's that saying? My enemy is my friend?" she humming out innocently in though "Oh wait, no no that's not it. It's the enemy of my enemy is my friend!" she stated enthusiastically once she remembered that human saying "And he was running from those kids, we we're hiding from" she spoke as if to further clarify, before Hook was then snapping at them to get going and discuss this elsewhere, to which Maeve had no complaints with and so followed along, urging the stranger to come along as well, to which he did.

When Jefferson thought he was about to be captured by those boys, he suddenly found himself amongst the very group he had come here in search of. Here he was hoping he wouldn't have to look too hard to find them, and they came right to him, dragging him along into their group - though it seemed they were hesitant about that aside from the one who had actually saved him in the first place. Rather than focusing on that though, he was still distracted by the fact the girl was right here in front of him. If only he hadn't lost his hat seconds ago...he could hear his own mind cursing him over and over in his head. It would be just his luck that he would lose his hats quite literally moments before finding the girl. If only he still had it...he could be dragging her away and back on his way to the queen with her by now.

Noticing that his staring only seemed to unease them all the more, particularly Snow, he covered it up as he smiled apologetically "Sorry, I don't mean to stare it's just....I thought for sure I was a goner. I'm just surprised to see anyone else on this island, the only people I've run into are those boys" he commented, putting on a good act as he seemed relieved. Which, well, wasn't hard to show since he genuinely was relieved. He also made a point to be vague about his duration on this island - if asked he was sure he could pull something out of his hat to respond with, but for now focused on the present. Even with the girls apprehension though, it seemed he was allowed to tag along for the time being at least, which he supposed was good enough for now, and he followed along with them as they hurried off in another direction "I don't mean to pry but...Aren't you Snow White? There's posters of you everywhere back in the realm I come from" he questioned innocently.

Maeve was relieved when everyone seemed to agree to stick together for the time being, and she rolled her eyes a bit at Hook's comment of them now knowing they were here "As if your big boat wasn't obvious enough" she replied sarcastically. Glancing back at their new addition briefly before continuing on, she didn't see the threat in this guy, and if he ended up being friendly, then it would be better they stick together, if these kids really were as dangerous and to be feared as much as Hook made them out to be. When she heard the guy questioning Lana about being Snow, she rolled her eyes "Honestly, why does everyone notice that as the first thing about you" she sighed, as if there weren't posters with her friends face plastered all over them "You know, you really should consider a make-over or something Lana. I have half of a mind of my own to go find this Snow and turn her over myself so you don't have to be mistaken as her all the time" she muttered in annoyance for her friend's sake.

Jefferson nearly tripped over his footing at the words that came out of Maeve's mouth. Thankfully, since they were in a rush and hurrying through the underbrush of the forest, it wasn't as though it were unusual for them to trip. It was then he also briefly noticed that the girl who had saved him was barefoot, and the way branches, leaves, and other vines and foliage seemed to part the way for them where they went, to which he assumed was the girl's doing. It's not like he hadn't seen strange things or people before in his travels, though he did wonder what she was briefly. His curiosity was however more focused on the brunette, looking at the back of her head as he followed the group. Her name was Lana? Was she not Snow White, the girl the queen was looking for? Or maybe she just had her friends here fooled into thinking she wasn't that girl. He furrowed his brows in confusion and curiosity, though didn't say anything, knowing if he started asking too much upon first meeting them it would raise suspicions of him, so he just remained silent and continued to follow along after them.

"That's only because we don't have much of a choice." Lana protested to her friend's statement about not knowing Hook. If she had a choice she wouldn't be following along behind a mischievous pirate, but he was their only chance at getting off this island so it looked like she was stuck with him. When the man spoke up about her appearance resembling that of Snow White's she instantly froze, the hair on the back of her neck sticking up. Of all the people to run into here in another realm, they had to run into someone who knew of Snow White. She scrutinized the man closely, and her suspicion was palpable. She was about to question the man about his reason for being here when Maeve spoke up, distracting her train of thought. Of course her friend knew of her story, not many people did though so she wouldn't expect this stranger to fully believe anything that was said on the matter. "Maybe I should just chop off all my hair and be done with it." Though that would do little about her face being the same, at least it may keep people from giving her a good look over.

Hook had ignored the babble behind him the entire trip through the woods. He wasn't looking to get involved in their lives so it mattered little to him what they were discussing. He was nervous about the new comer, and it might not be the wisest decision to keep someone around who could give them away once getting back home and who had almost immediately identified one of them. He wasn't the best person either, knowing there would be a few men back home who would love to get their hands on him - if the stranger had heard of him of course. This was one of those rare times when he hoped the stories of his travels didn't reach someone's ears and that it would only be Lana who pulls that kind of attention. "Maybe you should reconsider going back." Hook spoke up finally after several long minutes of silence, and the story finally engraving into his mind. He didn't see the point in staying in a place where she could be taken at any moment. She should move on and try her luck somewhere else. At least that was always his motto, never staying in one place for too long. He wasn't sure if he even believed her feeble story, but in all honesty he really didn't care if she was Snow White or this Lana person.

Lana thought about this for a moment. It wasn't the first time the idea had crossed her mind. "I've thought about leaving, but I've already had to cross kingdoms during the ogre wars.. it is slow going by foot." She sighed, watching the ground pull away from them as a path was created. She enjoyed this part, it made hiking that much easier. "If Maeve succeeds in finding her I won't have to." She teased, referencing the sprite's earlier comment about tracking down Snow White. She kind of hoped someone would find this girl and get this over with so she wouldn't have to live in hiding anymore. While she had grown accustomed to living off the forest, she did miss the comfort of a bed and indoor plumbing.

"Maybe she could try "helping" her the way she did with me." He joked as if Maeve wasn't two feet away, making a slight at her intentions of helping and how it seemed to attract the attention of the Queen rather quickly. While he wasn't fond of her methods, he was benefiting from her ability to manipulate the forest - finally finding a trait he deemed useful, and quit using his hook purely out of spite. He wasn't sure where they were headed anymore, after the run in he didn't get much of a look at which direction they were headed in or how far off their original path they were. The trees were thick and he hardly saw any landmarks showing where they were. While he hadn't really been planning much of where they were headed, he had considered tracking down Tinker Bell, maybe she would be able to help or at least fill him in on what had happened since he last left.

Lana tried to hold back the snort from Hook's comment. While she was friend's with the wood sprite, she also knew how her friend could lead unlucky travels into more trouble then they actually were in, in the first place. Switching her attention, she looked back over at the stranger once again, "And why exactly were you being chased by children?" She asked, prying for some answer that would show him for what he really was.. whatever that happened to be.

As he listened to the light banter of conversation back and forth between the two girls, he had to wonder if the brunette really wasn't the Snow White the Queen had sent him after. If she wasn't, that made his situation a hell of a lot more complicated. What if he was able to deliver her to the queen, but then the Queen found out that this wasn't actually the same girl she was looking for? Would he somehow be held accountable, as though he was the one to make the error? Technically the queen had been the one to point him in this direction, saying the girl she was after was here on Neverland with this group....so that most definitely meant that she was talking about this same girl here in front of him. But...if what these girls said was true, then that meant this wasn't Snow White, as the queen believed her to be.

He mentally cursed over in his head at the complexity of this situation. He didn't know much about the queen other than that she was a cold, heartless ruler. She didn't get the name Evil Queen by being benevolent and forgiving, or understanding. No...he wouldn't be surprised that even if he delivered this girl to her, the one he was told to get, that he would be held accountable for her not being the Snow White the queen had mistaken her for. And then what would that mean for him...for his daughter? This was so much more than he had signed up for...not that he'd even signed up for it, not by choice anyways. Perhaps if he was lucky, this girl, 'Lana' as she was called, was actually just lying to her friends and she really was the same Snow White that the queen was after. Then he at least wouldn't have to worry about that whole complicated possibility of her being who he was told to get but not who she was believed to be situation.

But even still, the issue regarding his hat still remained. He needed to get it back...but by now those group of savage kids had it, and what they'd done to it was beyond his knowledge. Even if they hadn't damaged it more than it was when he last saw it, he still didn't know if it was in working condition, or repairable on this forsaken island they were all stuck on. And then going through the trouble to get it back, especially if it wasn't even working to be worth it, was a whole other risk in itself.

Maeve meanwhile was otherwise distracted by her friends - though Hook likely wouldn't consider her the same, she figured - as they discussed the unfortunate circumstances of Lana's lifestyle of hiding, and possible ways to change her appearance or hopes of the real Snow White being found and delivered to the Queen so all this searching for her could just end and they wouldn't have to worry about it anymore, both for Lana's sake as well as their own since they were now a bit involved as well, so long as Lana was with them, and the real Snow White wasn't caught, anyways.

"Hey, you know if I'm around someone they're a good person at heart" she commented to Lana who voiced her doubts about Hook too, and that she was only here by lack of choice otherwise. And it was true, she never found herself drawn to individuals who were inherently evil or corrupt in ways. Perhaps they didn't leave good lives, and had poor choices and acts in the past, but those were the ones who she noticed and her mischievous, meddlesome nature sought out to help, because she, like other sprites, could tell when a person was genuinely a good individual, and perhaps just misguided or troubled in ways, leading her kind to want to help. Such as was the case with Hook.

At Hook's mocking comment, she narrowed her eyes at the back of his head since she was behind him, pouting childishly, and she intentionally missed moving a branch out of the way, snickering in amusement as she watched it smack into Hook's forehead with satisfaction "Oops. Must have missed that one. Sorry" she innocently spoke in sarcasm with a shrug of her shoulders "Short girl problems, y'know?" she smirked at the male since the branch was well enough above her own height she didn't need to bother moving it anyways if not for the people she was traveling with, mainly Hook, since he was in front. "Anyways, you can't judge my helping, since I still am actively helping you and not done, so any mishaps like this that happen consequently on our path to help you aren't really my fault. You can't judge something that isn't finished" she claimed innocently.

The forest in neverland looked the same in each direction, though honestly he saw everything through a sea-dwellers eyes and it was hard to notice the difference from one tree to another. He could see the small mountainous ridge above the treeline however once coming up over a decent sized hill, and he knew they would need to shoot for it. His small burst of eagerness was dashed the second he felt a branch come his way. Hook held an unamused look on his face, though she could hardly see it from her position behind him, and he brushed off the branch with his free hand. "You're pushing your luck elf." He muttered, before she continued on with her idea of helping him. While she didn't see it as over, he sure as hell closed that book the second an arrow got shot at his head. He couldn't understand her fascination with helping him, and he wasn't sure he really wanted to know the answer. If he could just get back home he could be done with this and away from them.

While Hook didn't necessarily have friends, he did have one that lived on this particular island. He had met her his second time coming to Neverland, with her almost cutting his throat in the process. They had both lost a great deal at the time and it was easy to drown each other in bitterness and rum. He wondered if she was still here, though he couldn't see what not - she had lost her wings years before meeting him and she didn't have much of a want to leave back then or even the means to do it. He did know that she lived at the base around the mountain in a small treehouse, and their best bet at getting off this island would start with her.

"I think you've helped enough for one day." Hook commented on her statement about furthering intentions to help him, and glanced backwards for a moment. He returned his eyes once again to the mountainous area and continued trekking through the forest towards it. The trees here were large, and he sensed they were far older than him though time never moved forward and he wondered about they managed that.

Lana wondered for a second about her friend's comment. It did seem to be true about the people that Maeve gravitated towards being good at heart, so maybe the pirate wasn't as bad as she was leaning to believe. She didn't know his story, who was she to be suspicious when he'd done nothing but give her shelter on his ship? Still, it was hard for her to press pass the hard shell into acceptance after years of being skeptical of people. It was hard enough putting her trust in Maeve, though she figured this was easier since her friend was not actually human. Humans she did not trust and limited her time around them as much as possible. She wondered again if Snow White was ever found, would she go back into society? She didn't think so, her perception of the world had been too greatly altered. She envied her friend for having a more positive view.

Lana turned to the man who was beside her friend, and she furrowed her eyebrows a bit into a slight frown. "Why exactly were you being chased by children?" She questioned, knowing they should probably find out at least his reason for being here or why he had gotten himself into that situation. Would he know a way back home? They seemed to have come form the same place so it was possible. But what was he doing out in the middle of nowhere? She didn't turn away while she was waiting on an answer, and she shifted her bag slightly hoping it would snap him out of whatever he was concentrating so hard on.

She noticed the shift in their direction, causing her to look forward and see the large jagged rock formation. The frown deepened, though her pace remained the same. She wondered why the pirate was so interested in it.

At being called an elf Maeve narrowed her eyes into a glare at the back of his head "Just because I've got pointy ears and enjoy living in the forests does not mean I am an elf! Daft pirate" she snapped in bitterness as the mistaken label shot her way, whether it was intentional or not. Her kind and elves didn't particularly get along, and the two were often mistaken for each other because of their identical features and characteristics. Both preferred forest dwelling, and loved nature in general, both had noticeably pointed ears that indicated they weren't human, despite their otherwise human appearance, and both species were also shorter than the average human. However, as Hook had the honors of personally finding out, sprites could be incredibly mischievous - though almost always with good intent. Compared to elves which in Maeve's opinion were far more pretentious and arrogant, too much for anyone's own good, even their own. And likewise the elves disliked sprites - particularly wood sprites - as well do to finding them troublesome and childish.

While Jefferson had been lost in his thoughts as he was struggling to even figure out what was truth and what wasn't in this whole situation, and about the possible outcomes of ever scenario or possibility that was running through his head about his task, about this girl, whether she was this 'Lana' woman or 'Snow White', he was finally snapped out of his intense distracted when he heard the girl speaking up to him. He lifted his gaze to meet her skeptical one before he realized she was asking him a question, and finally registered what it was she was asking. It didn't take him long to answer - he mostly stuck with the truth. Mostly. Knowing that the more truth he could give the more believable he would come off, regardless of if the facts were believable to others, the genuine sincerity would hopefully come off and help him to gain their trust and favor.

"I honestly don't really know why they were chasing me. I guess they just didn't want me here?" he suggested, that much being the truth, before he continued on to explain a bit more about himself and why he was here, knowing an answer for her to that was probably another priority concern and suspicion about him of hers. "I came here for my daughter" he started. Again, true. "She and I have been separated for a long time, and I haven't been able to find her. I have this hat of mine, a magic hat, and I'm able to travel through realms with it. That's how I got here, and I came in search of my daughter back" he explained - mostly all of it being true, and distantly the truth, in one way or another.

As Killian further commented on having helped enough for one day, she smirked a bit "Alright~ There's always tomorrow. And the next day. And however many more following days it takes to help you" she retorted back to him, not finding his bitter comment about her 'help' that day to wear her down and finding unintended implications left behind in his words how while it was enough for today, there were always more days to help.

Jefferson glanced ahead when he could hear the two ahead of them seeming to bicker back and forth about something, and he just watched their banter silently, certainly not trying to get involved, he directed his curiosity towards Lana "It doesn't seem like he wants her help much, does it? What exactly is she trying to help him with anyways?" he muttered, genuinly baffled by the interaction between the two "...also I thought she was an elf?" he muttered a bit more quietly since he genuinely had thought that, though she clearly didn't approve of being referred to as such, so he spoke a bti quieter to Lana when saying that so non-human wouldn't hear him. He had travelled a lot of places, and knew there were an extensive variety of kinds of people and spieces, so her appearance and lack of being human didn't surprise him, though did make him curious.

While Maeve didn't hear the stranger's inquiry to Lana about her, she had selective hearing and when a magic hat which could benefir them all was mentioned, she was distracted from teasing and taunting Killian for the time being though when she heard something of interest from their new stranger addition to their group "A magic hat?" she inquired, briefly glancing over her shoulder at the male, if that was true, that could maybe be their way out of here. "...Where is it then? I don't see you wearing hat" she pointed out, half suspiciously if it was a lie, and also curious if it was the truth, then where it was. "Also" she started as she turned her attention briefly back to Killian "Are you just wandering aimlessly or are you taking us somewhere particular?" she questioned, since she'd rather not waste energy if they didn't need to and didn't have a destination in mind, nor needed to be on the immediate run.

"That's the problem..." he sighed as he ran a hand through his hair "Those boys, they took it. I don't think they have a clue what it can due though. Besides....it got damaged when they attacked me. I'm not even sure it still works..."

Lana was taken aback by the man's answer. Not at first, with his feeble answer about the boys' just chasing him because he was there. She would've inquired more if not for what came next. He was searching for his daughter? She couldn't imagine what being separate from a child for a long period of time would do to someone, and she almost felt bad for snapping at him. "I am sorry about your daughter." She said truthfully, not hiding the fact that she did actually feel bad for the man. Maybe she had been too quick with her decision of this stranger, though there was always the possibility he was lying to throw them off track of his real nature. Regardless, no one deserved being kept apart from their daughter. It made her think about her own family and what they might be thinking at this very moment.. if they were still alive that is - and her stomach twisted uneasily at the thought.

His next comment made Lana come out of her thoughts and back to the conversation. What? She looked in front of her at Hook and now Maeve who had seemed to shift closer towards him as they bickered. The man's comment about Maeve being an elf made a small smile form on her face, and then soon after a quiet laugh. It was short, barely audible and could've been mistaken as a exhale. "No, he has made it very clear he wants nothing to do with it. But unfortunately for him my friend here will stop at nothing to help him.. I don't think there's been a calm conversation between the two of them yet so I don't really know what she's expecting to do for him." She answered with amusement. "..and I wouldn't use the E word around her." Her voice continued to hold a lightness to it as she muttered lowly, matching his tone to keep Maeve from overhearing.

Elf, sprite.. it was all the same to Hook. They were all short, pointy eared creatures that hung out in forested areas - he might've even preferred the elf. Why was she so intent on helping him anyways? It wasn't like he hadn't made it blatantly clear to her that he wasn't interested. In fact, every thing about him should've warned her off, but then again she wasn't human and didn't take to their social cues like one would. His only hope now was that she would get bored along the way and find a new subject for her time. Anyways, he was still leading the group further towards the rock ledge and the closer they got the more he started to look out for the tree house. He wasn't sure where exactly he was suppose to be looking, maybe it was closer to the mountain, and then once they actually made it there then what? Would they circle the base of it? He figured he'd cross that bridge later.

Lana eyed the man as he mentioned his hat, and her gaze was immediately drawn to his head which of course was lacking a hat. She had never heard of a piece of clothing containing such magical properties as to cross realms, so it seemed a bit far fetched for her. "How did you come by such a thing?" She inquired, her curiosity getting the better of her.

With the wood sprite's question still hung out in the air, Hook wondered if telling the girl they would be searching for a fairy would be wise. She didn't mention fairies, it was only elves that had been discussed but why did he get the suspicion that she wouldn't be too fond on fairies either? "I have a place in mind." He said vaguely. "I have a friend here, if she's still here of course.." He trailed off, offering up no other information on the subject at present. He had never touched the topic with Tinkerbell since there were hardly wood sprites on this island to run into. She was very closed off about her past, as was he, so things that weren't in the immediate present were rarely ever brought it up. Well, this should be fun - and he smirked at the thought. "We're headed towards the base of the ridge, she has a tree house there and might know of a way off this bloody piece of land." He spoke up as they headed dead center towards it.

His interest did however peak up at the thought of a magic hat, and it might be an idea to consider if he couldn't think of another way home. Of course he had little idea of the rules of the hat or what the man was planning on doing with it.

When Killian didn't fully answer her question and just remained vague, she rolled her eyes a bit "There's no point in being so vague" she huffed a bit with a slight pout, mainly her curiosity just getting the better of her and wanting to know where it was they were headed. She didn't complain otherwise though, Hook was the only one out of them who had been here before, and escaped this island before as well, so she knew he was likely the best person to follow and let make decisions while they were on this island. He'd know the most about it, either survival wise, and who and what lived on this island. Maeve personally still wasn't all that concerned about their survival. Being a wood sprite forests were easy to navigate and live in for her. And those kids Killian seemed so concerned about...well, she had yet to see any real threat in them. Though she also had yet to meet their leader, who was far more ruthless than any of his followers combined.

At Lana's apologetic response of sympathy regarding his daughter, he gave a small smile and a nod in appreciation of her sympathy, but otherwise didn't say much. Despite the fact that they were talking about his daughter, and that she was the whole reason he was here, and that he intended to kidnap Lana for the sake of his daughter...he somehow momentarily forgot about the task at hand he was here to carry out, seeing her sincerity. Often of the time people just called him out for being a terrible father, or that he simply wasn't fit to be one, what with the incident with his wife, and now having lost his daughter...and honestly he believed they were right. His Grace deserved so much more than him, but even still, this strangers sympathy was a bit comforting, even if only a little.

When questioning Lana about the two ahead of them who bickered, he nodded his head lightly in understanding when she had explained how not to call her and elf, and that it likely was best to just refrain from mentioning them around her to begin with. He was curious though of what she was, if not an elf, since as far as appearances went she certainly did seem to resemble one. Though he'd met a settlement of elves before...and she did seem a lot kinder and more friendly than them. Glancing back to Lana, he realized he hadn't yet introduced himself considering they had initially been in a bit of a hurry to get out of the area those boys were in. "My name's Jefferson, by the way. I think she called you Lana, right?" he questioned, keeping the skepticism out of his voice as he still wasn't entirely sure if she was just lying about who she was to these people, or if she really was someone other than Snow White, despite the uncanny resemblance.

When asked how he came across his hat, he shook his head a bit "I made it" he explained, before Maeve chimed in again curiously "Well can't you make another then? Mr. Scary Pirate over hear is really afraid of those children, so rather than getting your old, possibly damaged hat back, why don't you just make another?" she suggested curiously, before Jefferson just looked at her like she was an idiot "Not just any hat will work. If that were the case people would be hopping to and from realms like they were just taking a walk" he huffed a bit "A hat without magic is just a hat. And I don't have magic."

Eventually, after a bit more walking they were nearing the area where Tinkerbell lived, far on the other side of the island away from where the Lost Boys and their leader Pan typically roamed about, where she could live relatively peacefully enough without much trouble from them. Over he many years on this island, she'd made a sort of truce with Pan and his group, and they left her alone for the most part, so long as she didn't meddle in their affairs, which she hadn't much interest in doing so long as she was left alone. She'd also become a lot colder in the years since the time she was a naive and hopeful fairy. When she noticed the group approaching the area of her tree house, she snuck up behind them - not able to get a clear enough look to see who it was, she didn't realize the familiar face leading the group.

"Where do you four think you're going?" she said with a hardened glare once she snuck up behind one of the ones in the back, choosing Lana, since she was smaller than Jefferson so easier to threaten and overpower than the larger male, and she held a knife to the girls through, before her eyes widened a bit when the head of the group turned around to the comotion "Hook?" she questioned, a bit surprised as she slowly lowered her knife "I never thought I'd see you back here. Miss it that much?" she joked, knowing how desperate Hook had been to get off the island last time.

"And where's the point in being impatient?" He countered to her pout, though who was he to talk? He wasn't much better. Although he could say the island had helped him somewhat in that respect. The base of the mountain was within eyesight now, though it didn't help that the sun was beginning to lower. He started to prepare for the possibility that they would need to find and set up camp for the night. There wasn't much use of looking for Tink's house in the dark especially since they would need a light source of some sort which would no doubt illuminate their location. And while the elf was not convinced in the dangers of Pan or the children, he knew what they were capable of. He had seen it, and he also knew what it could do to a person when time seemed to stretch on for eternity.. how minutes could expand feel like days instead. He had almost went mad being here the last time from that alone. The island was not a place for adults.

Lana noticed the man was lost in thought and she continued to walk beside him in comfortable silence. She didn't ask further about his daughter, knowing if he wanted to talk about her more he would've so she didn't press the issue - she could only be sincere in her sympathy whether he accepted it or not, which he seemed too by the non-verbal response he had given. Her eyes trained on the backs on her friend's heads, since she was behind them now and quite a bit shorter than Killian, until the man beside her spoke up again. Jefferson, an interesting name and one she had never heard before, though she didn't make it a habit of meeting new people. When his question turned to her, she nodded a bit before answering. "Yeah you heard right. I'm Lana." He had questioned her earlier about being Snow White, and she wondered for a moment if he actually believed them or not. Since she knew nothing of his intentions, she figured he probably cared little on the subject.

"And the "lovely" pair in front of us is Maeve and Killian, though by the way he uses that hook I assume he'd prefer to be called that." She teased the dark haired man in front of her. She decided to continue introductions as the pair in front of them was busy with their banter. She hadn't actually known Hook long enough to know his preference, but the need hadn't risen yet to cause her to question it much. She figured if he cared being called Killian he'd speak up about it, knowing he was exactly the type of person to speak his mind openly and loudly.

Hook became more skeptical of the man as he talked about this hat of his. How was he able to make one at all, and how was he able to have magic at one time and not now? "Something like that must have been hard to come by." He said, obvious suspicion in his voice though didn't comment on it. He had been trapped on this island with no way home before, so he knew what the man was going through, and if he wasn't working for Pan that made them allies.

While they had been hiking for some time, Lana could feel the exhaustion start to eat away at her. The adrenaline was long gone, leaving her with a pounding headache and tightness to her muscles. She was starting to slow up, and she had to focus on not stumbling through the forest. They were looking for someone, someone who might not even be here anymore, at least what it sounded like from Hook. She kept her eyes up, scowering the treetops since he had mentioned she lived in one - which was probably to reason for her being so easily snuck up on. She felt the cool blade on her throat and she mentally cursed, for this was the second time in one day she had been threatened. Her patience wore thin, and she glared at the girl openly as she backed away, lowering the knife.

Killian turned at the sound coming from behind him. As he grabbed for his sword, he took in the attacker and it was mere seconds before he dropped his hand and a smile replaced the frown on his face. "Tink, I'd say it's good to see you but.." He said shrugged, leaving the sentence open since he knew she was aware of his hatred for the place. It was no secret he would never come back willingly. His luck seemed to have changed as now the fairy they were looking for had ended up finding them, and they wouldn't be stranded for Pan and his groupies to come across them randomly in the forest. "We need a place to hide out for awhile."

As she confirmed her name and then further introduced the two ahead of them, he nodded his head lightly in understanding. He was still curious about her name, and if she really wasn't Snow White. It could cause a lot of problems for him if she wasn't, even though this was the woman the queen had sent him after. He doubted the queen would take the blame for sending him after the wrong person if it turned out to be that way. He didn't further question Lana about who she was though, knowing it would definitely seem suspicious. Maybe he could inquire a bit more later, either asking the other two, or asking Lana herself around the topic of Snow White once they had spent more time together.

Though initially that definitely hadn't been his plan. He had planned to just hop in here with his hat, grab the girl, and leave right back out through his hat before he could be stopped, or anything. Gaining their trust hadn't really been part of his plan. But now that his hat was missing, possible irreparable, he had to play the long game. Which he really wasn't happy about since he'd rather get his daughter back sooner. And the fact that the queen seemed to be timing him and if she deemed him having taken too long, he might harm his Grace. He didn't know if she had really meant it, or if it was just an empty threat to make sure he didn't take his time or anything. Regardless, he'd rather not risk that possibility.

At Hook's suspicious questioning, he nodded his head a bit "It is. Someone in my past who had magic helped me create it. Which is why I can't simply make another if the one those boys took is damaged. I can repair just about any hat, but it'll do no good if the magic is gone" he sighed a bit as the continued on through the woods, before they were suddenly snuck up on, though thankfully it didn't seem to be a situation with any real threat, as the individual was the one they apparently had been looking for.

Once Tinkerbell had realized Hook was part of this group, and they more or less were friends with him, she let down her guard and smiled apologetically to the girl she threatened "Sorry about that. I didn't realize you were with him at first. You can never be too careful on this island" she explained, before looking back to Hook as he explained them needing a place to stay. Glancing over the four of them, she considered it a moment before shrugged "I suppose I don't mind. Five people is a be cramped for my place though, so as long as you don't mind that, follow me" she agreed, before heading off through the forest again for them to follow. She didn't want to stick around outside in the open just talking for too long, since it was still dangerous, especially if the Lost Boys were still out running around.

Maeve suddenly stopped her bickering with Killian when she noticed her friend was in danger, and she turned on her heel to face the person, ready to attack them if necessary. However thankfully it seemed this was the person that Hook was waiting for, and she didn't lowered her knife that was dangerously close to Lana's neck seconds after she had even held it there. Everyone else in the group too seemed to notice and immediate relax with the tension, and she was glad they'd found the person Hook was looking for. Hopefully they would actually be helpful, and thankfully, she was, seeming to allow them to hide out in her place to keep out of sight from those boys.

As they followed her, Maeve didn't have a clue the girl wasn't human - without the wings or the glitter or fairy dust, she didn't look like a fairy at all, and just looked like another human living in the forest to survive. As they arrived at very base of the mountain, she had to admit she was pleased it was a treehouse they would be staying in. Though this didn't really seem like a place that had any orfinary civilization type of houses anyways. As they all filed into the house up the ladder one after another, Tink motioned for them to sit down and relax after their hiking "Make yourselves comfortable. So, how did you all end up here anyways?" she questioned, knowing that Hook definitely wouldn't have come here by choice.

As the girl lowered her knife, Lana tried leveling the fairy with her glare. Even after hearing the apology, she still wasn't quick to forget the incident and while her glare was gone she still eyed the fairy with hidden suspicion - though Hook seemed to be more than pleased that they had run into the fairy, and she knew if he trusted her than this girl might be their only hope at getting home. "Don't sweat it." She replied a bit cooly to the girl, though tried to keep the disdain out of her tone. She followed behind the other once their pace picked up again, and she all but forgot about her earlier aches since a destination was at a close grasp. She wondered how tight of a fit it might be, though she couldn't imagine a tree house being a comfortable size even for one. Why was this girl living in a tree anyways? Of course, she didn't know the girl was a fairy and even if she did, she really didn't know much about their kind.

The walk to the tree house was short, and soon she was looking up at a tiny house made of wood. She had slept in a tree more than once, but never in a house so she was curious why the woman had chosen this location.

"Thanks." Killian said to the fairy, putting a light pressure on her arm as if to greet/thank her. He let go all too quickly, not offering up any other sort of contact as he waited for her to lead the way. She led them through the trees as a deep shade hovered around them, and he was ready to get off the forest floor even if it meant all of them being crammed into a small space. He had been in the house before, many times so he knew what limited space she had to offer - but it would beat trying to sleep on the forest floor all night, and even then someone would have to remain awake to keep watch. Once they finally made it to the base of the tree, he waited for Tink to make it inside before taking a hold of the rope ladder and climbing his way up. It was just as he remember, and he gave the girl a small smirk.

"Hasn't changed much has it?" He teased, looking at the familiar decor. When the rest of the made it up, he moved out of the way to give them space to move inside. He took a seat by the wall, hiking up a leg as he rested an arm on top of it. "We were being chased down by the queen and her army.. the jolly roger was going under, so I used my last bean to get us out of there. And here we are, I guess I couldn't get enough the last time I was here." He half rolled his eyes, and shook his head in annoyance. He also briefly explained the run in with Maeve that started it all, and why he had guests with him in the first place - which of course wasn't by design, and which Tink would know is unheard of. Besides the men on his ship Killian didn't spend a lot of time with people.

Lana was at the tail end of the group, besides Jefferson, and grabbed a hold of the rope ladder before pushing herself up. The tree house wasn't big by any means, but once she got inside she felt it had more space than the outside lead her to believe. She crawled out of the hole and also took a seat against the wall, letting it hold her weight. She sighed in relief that she could rest her muscles from the long day. She listened to Hook explain to the girl about their journey here, but didn't speak up until the end. "We had to separate from the other guy we were with, who unfortunately wasn't in control of himself." She said, feeling the need to explain his absence to Tinkerbell.

Killian finally felt a bit at ease now that he wasn't running for his life and was in a familiar surrounding that he had deemed safe. "So now we're stuck here until we can find a way out.. I doubt making a deal with Pan will work a second time." He sighed, not knowing even how to begin to think of an escape plan.

Tinkerbell had noticed the leveled glare shot her way from the girl even after she clearly no longer held any ill intent. She did feel apologetic though, while she didn't overly show it since in Neverland being too kind, if at all, could easily get you killed. Most anyone on this island was sly and Pan being the most cunning of them all, acting completely innocent and young when he needed to to get what he wanted, though anyone who really knew Pan knew there was nothing sweet or innocent about him. He may have the face of a child but he certainly wasn't one. If Hook hadn't been with the group, she likely wouldn't have listened to much they had to say, the only thing they had going for them on this island that might gain her favor otherwise was that they weren't children, since all of Pan's group was only ever children that fought for him.

Tinkerbell had lived in Neverland long before the Queen had declared her vengeance against Snow White, so she hadn't even a clue about Regina having turned evil and dark enough to become so corrupt. Ever since Regina had turned her back on her despite all she had risked for who she thought was her friend, she didn't think Regina would have become that cold and evil. "The Queen? You mean Regina? Why was she chasing you guys?" she asked clueless. She still was bitter and resented Regina, though the naive part of the fairy couldn't help but still hope there was good in her, the good that she had seen a long time ago. Of course, she wasn't too naive to think that Regina wasn't capable of such things, she'd definitely learned that lesson the hard way.

Jefferson followed the group to the treehouse, still feeling slight out of place among them, and he knew they were probably still suspicious of him and it was more so lack of choice they were all sticking together. He wasn't too worried, however, having noticed how all three of them had grown interested at the mention of his magic hat. If he was lucky, it still worked, and all he had to do was convince them that that was their way out, and they wouldn't have to struggle finding a new way that no one knew if another even existed. He didn't think it would be too hard - then he'd have all of them helping to get his hat back rather than just himself trying to get it. And of course, he would then just leave with Lana. It seemed like the next best plan he had, though the one problem was it was all based on hoping his hat still worked, or if not then it was at least repairable.

Once all in the treehouse, it definitely was a bit cramped for all five of them, however not enough for it to be too uncomfortable. Besides he did agree this was better than being out in the open for those boys to find them. He'd only been chased by three of them, and honestly they were more than he preferred to handle. From Hook's stories, it seemed there were a lot more of them, and their leader was even more trouble, even if alone compared to the whole group of boys. At Hook's mention of not having a way out though, Jefferson took up the opportunity to chime in with his idea.

"We could try getting my hat back. Even though it's damaged, if it still works, or even if it's repairable, it could get all of us out of here" he proposed, though, of course that later half wasn't necesarrily true. It could get him and Lana out of here, a trip for two, and that's honestly all that mattered to Jefferson. If stranding the rest of these people on this island meant getting his daughter back, he would do it. Besides...the ones being left behind stranded on the island likely had better odds than Lana who'd go back with him anyways.

As they all arrived at the treehouse, she smiled a bit in amusement at Hook's joke "Yeah well, you know the furniture shops around here don't have much to offer" she joked back, since obviously they both knew they were all far from any real civilization. It was purely a jungle island with people living in it and surviving. She listened to the explanation about how he'd come to be with these people that were with him now, and she grew interested as she learned of the wood sprite, smiling curiously at the girl.

"A wood sprite huh? I've never actually met one before, but Blue would mention how similar your kind is to fairies. In the sense that a main interest for fairies and sprites is to help others" she commented curiously before smirking back at Hook "I don't know, I think you need a wood sprite hanging around you. You could use some help I think" she teased the pirate, though was being genuine "Fairies are too pretentious to help someone with your reputation, even if you asked for it. I think you're more troubled than even you know, Hook" she commented, and her support caused Maeve to grin "Even an old friend of yours thinks you need help. Which definitely proves you need it - not that I didn't already think that" she smirked at the pirate, knowing he likely hadn't wanted to hear anyone support Maeve's decision to hang around him with intentions of helping.
