Personality: Okami is very concealed. He refrains from ever showing his true feelings, even to those close around him. His past frightens him even if it seems like it doesn't bother him at all. Okami is strong and has a thick shell. He does not care for games or jokes, and takes things very, very, very seriously. This man never cracks a smile. The only time Okami will ever smile is if Coda asks him to. 


There is a reason why Okami is so fond of Coda, or why he will only listen to his younger friend. The reason is more like Okami begging for forgiveness from Coda. Okami is WAY too over protective of him, and does not care what others say about it. Okami will only listen to Coda and will only open up to Coda, if Coda asks. 


History: Growing up Okami never liked Coda. He found the young orphan to be loud and down right annoying. Okami was an only child and was brought up with honor and responsibility. In truth he envied the free spirit, as he could never be free from his strict life. 


At the right age and time Okami was given a high honor from their villages elders. He was accepted into a special guard force that was specialized to protect the villages most prized possession. 


His life was going good until war broke out. A lot of people were lost along with Okami's mother. This left his father into pieces that Okami frowned upon. He had once thought of his father as a strong man... But when the man lost his wife... Okami never once looked at him in the same way again. 


Instead of grieving with others, Okami continued on with his duties. It wasn't until the dark night that turned Okami inside out.... That night destroyed him from the inside out, and he can't seem to forgive himself for what he had done to Coda. Even if he never did like the guy, Okami still can't deal with what happen. He regrets everything and will do anything to make amends. 


It was Okami's idea to leave their village and to run away. When he approached Seng and Nora about the idea, all were on board. They moved quickly and were soon gone within a night, not leaving a trace behind...... But Okami and the others all knew that the village would come looking for them, and would not stop until they got what they wanted.
