~BACKGROUND STORY~
Will grew up with both of his parents. The rules were clear: don’t trust a Metahuman. Everyone seemed to be afraid of them as if they were monsters. Will didn’t want to be afraid of them, but that was the world he was living in. He did as everyone else said and avoided them at all costs. Throughout his life, he witnessed horrors and discrimination that no person should have to bear. But he was no better for allowing it to happen.

It took some time before Will realized what he wanted to do with his life. Going through some of the basic sports such as football (breaking his collarbone in the process), basketball (broken nose), baseball (sprained finger), and even wrestling (torn muscles), it was clear that sports weren’t his calling. However, he did gain an athletic edge because of them. His figure became more toned and stronger, but his personality stayed sheltered. As time went on, Will discovered a passion for photography. Sending in a draft to the editor of the school newspaper, he was accepted into the role of photojournalist, realizing his other talent of writing.

As Will became older, things continued to change in his life. He developed more emotions, learned more in class, and struggled with any form of socialization. He was just your average high school boy. At least, that’s what he always told himself. When Will was ready to graduate from high school, he discovered something about himself. He was a Metahuman. On his way home from the graduation rehearsal, Will saw his elderly neighbor collapse in her backyard. Unsure what to do, his body took over for him. He placed a hand against his neighbor’s chest and concentrated. The pain she suffered crawled through Will’s body. As she awoke, Will collapsed.

When he awoke, a nurse was sitting next to him. She looked at him and ran out of the room. A weird reaction for sure. But why? He got his answer. Taking her place, the doctor entered the room with a clipboard. Apparently Will had suffered a minor heart attack. How at such a young age, they weren’t sure. But his survival was only the good news. The doctor had then revealed to Will that his parents were gone. In a panic to be there for him at the hospital, his father didn’t look when turning, causing a major pileup. Lost in his own mind, Will shut everyone out. His life was about to change for good.

Will never got over the loss of his parents. He never forgot about what he did to his neighbor either. His parents were dead and he was a Metahuman in a human’s world. The least of his worries was getting into college. Will managed to ace his way into school, moving in as soon as possible since he had nowhere else to go. Sharing a dorm wasn’t all that fun for him, but at least he wasn’t completely alone. Will never did learn to control his ability. His “healing touch” never happened again. It was pretty much a one-use deal. He believed it was for the best.

College was exactly what Will needed. He slowly healed over his parents. He opened up enough to actually talk to people, making him not-so-unsociable. Will even sent in a resume for the school paper. Impressed enough with his work, the school offered him a low position as a photojournalist to cover campus activity. It was a start. Things are starting to look up for him. But the question always remains on his mind: How long until something else goes wrong?

-------------------------------------
~PERSONAL INFORMATION~
Position: Managing Assistant
Major: Business
Academic: 3.6
Skills: Business | Charisma | Swordsmanship
Relationship: Single
Parents: Mark & Lisa Whiteman
Siblings: Heather Whiteman (13)
Relatives: Uncle Roy
-------------------------------------
~BACKGROUND STORY~
Blake developed his abilities as a Metahuman at a young age. Due to his parents being in market, they were constantly busy. Blake was left in the comfort of his father’s brother, his Uncle Roy. He wasn’t as wealthy as his brother, but Roy had a good supply of money. Blake was raised in a wealthy environment, and as expected, he developed some expensive tastes.

As well as gaining his powers at a young age, Blake also learned other skills. One of the most talented of his skills was the art of swordsmanship. Roy payed for the best classes he can afford in an attempt to give Blake the upper hand in interviews (a talent of skill that not many others can say they have). Blake practiced night and day at the demand of his uncle. Returning from a night of sparring, Blake rested his muscles in a tub of ice. As the cold rushed through his body, he closed his eyes to enjoy the relaxing sensation. When he opened his eyes next, the rest of the room was covered in a thin sheet of frost. Blake removed himself from the tub in awe. It took him over an hour to defrost the bathroom.

After Blake told his Uncle Roy about his new experience, Roy met him with a smile. It was a family secret. Something everyone decided that Blake shouldn’t have to live with. On that day, Blake found out his entire family was made up of Metahumans. Uncle Roy had the power of camouflage, his father had the power of pyrokinesis, and his mother had the power of empathy. And now, the last member of the Whitemans had the power of cryokinesis. Blake couldn’t help but feel honored.

That feeling died the day his sister was born. Blake hated the idea of no longer being the only child. His constant good-boy treatments and attention made him feel good. However, the new child had him sitting in the background. Little Heather Whiteman was the new center of attention. He had to try extra hard just to get the slightest attention out of his parents. He studied, trained, and practiced harder than ever. Eventually, Blake graduated from high school, then college, and obtained a decent career working as the assistant of the general manager of a manufacturing company. It isn’t the best job, but it pays enough to support his expensive tastes.

Blake has been on his own every since Heather was born. He lost Uncle Roy to an “accident” involving a drunk human and a knife. The person that murdered him “couldn’t see the guy because of the camouflage” apparently. Blake tore his mind away from his death and applied himself even harder to his studies and work. He’s a decent guy when you get to know him. He comes off as a cold person, not wanting to get involved with people that won’t benefit him. Believe it when you hear that he’s really a sweet guy.
