not me. My muses are hot for like a week, maybe two? And after trying here and there and everywhere and getting nowhere... they peter out pretty quick in lieu of something else. It's kind of a pain in the ass, tbh. If I dont meet demand, it switches up on me real quick. In the last 3 months, I've probably gone and chased six or seven different cravings to no avail.

I usually dont chase after more than one idea at a time. So my options are never a spread of things. just one at a time. That's why I don't bother with a generalized interest request post

Think Captain Planet meets Vikings with werewolves.

Heyo, I don't know if this is the best place to ask this but I'm lowkey curious about whether anyone does Fate or Street Fighter RPs. Preferably with OCs, I can't imagine using canon characters, since I'm a lot more used to making OCs within an already existing universe. I've seen some people mention JoJo or Dragon Ball here, and I'd be interested as long as these rules also apply

Neat! Hopefully a bit more interest gets drummed up, just for curiosity's sake though, when did you set that one in-time? Like, post-3rd Strike times maybe? Since that's probably the most convenient-ish time for new people to show up in that universe (even if SF6 is coming out soon anyway)

I feel like my Star Wars, Old Republic muse is starting to lose traction in my craving it. Like, nothing is going on in that vein on this site and it doesnt look like anything will happen anytime soon. I did manage to find a Discord group for it. But after a couple days of going through their admission process, and now basically struggling to get through their server mechanics of how RPs are run, and just HOPING that I get some kind of response to my RP request.... I doubt I will actually get my pirate crew going before my muse is dead. Fml, right?

I've pitched it here before. At least once (maybe twice, but I'm not 100% sure on that). Either way, it got some pretty disappointing reception. Hence why I went to a discord group where literally everyone there is on the same page as far as interest and lore and whatever. But... Discord groups just aren't really that receptive to RPing in the styles more affiliated with forums such as this. It's a give and take, for sure. But either way, I'm not getting anywhere.

I prefer Old Republic settings because its waaaay before any of the movies or series. The EU lore is just, well I feel its way better than canonical stuff. But I am specifically looking for a narrative that gets away from the Jedi and Sith.

Hello and welcome to my RP request, Star Wars: Scum & Villainy. This will be an EU roleplay set in the era of the Great Galactic War (not to be confused with the later Galactic War) . This is the war right before the Cold War, commonly exemplified by the SWtOR MMO video game. This timeline is waaaaay before anything that has occurred in any of the movies or series, in the year 3679 BBY. That's just a couple of years after the Battle of Korriban. This roleplay is intended to take place in the Outer Rim section of the galaxy, as well as Hutt space. I am looking to (ideally) recruit a small group of 4 other individuals to create a motley gang of galactic miscreants. One character is allowed per player for now, but you may have a droid or creature companion to go with your character if you wish. I just ask that your companion be of a relatively mundane nature (i.e. no assassin droid bodyguards or pet rancors).

As the title of the roleplay suggests, this setting will be more focused on the criminal underbelly element of the Star Wars universe. Smugglers, spies, raiders, slavers. bounty hunters, black marketers, and underworld agents are more of the focus here than the dichotomy of the Force and its wielders. My intent is to establish this group to pursue an alternative-themed roleplay to the typical Star Wars narrative.

Since this timeline is occurring thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin, please consider an alternative dating system of ABM.
This acronym stands for After the Battle of Malachor V. As things in the Star Wars universe are dated around events of galaxy-wide importance, it stands to reason the Battle of Malachor V would be substantial enough to warrant such a notice. This Battle of Malachor V occurred in 3960 BBY. In order to convert the timeline over from BBY to ABM, simply take 3960 (Year 0 for ABM) and subtract whatever year it is in BBY. The remaining sum is the current year in ABM. This year counts forwards as time progresses, unlike BBY which counts down as the years go forward in time.

This roleplay is then set in the year 281 ABM.

But honestly, I could even run it in the setting of the cold war itself. Anything in the approximate realm of 3500 BBY (+/- a couple hundred years). I'm flexible. Just not anything that is occurring after the Eternal Empire comes into play.

well, im not actively advertising it on RPN at the moment. Currently struggling over Discord to get it together. And honestly, if I can't get that started their in the next couple of days, I'm just gonna drop the whole thing and try something else entirely. It's a vicious cycle of never getting any actual RP done. lol
