  howdy! my name is oliver. although summer is drawing to an end, i'm looking for some 1x1 roleplays for the free time that i'll still inevitably have.
  
  i'm 19 years old, i use he/him pronouns, i am passionate about frogs, and i'm a college student majoring in graphic design with a minor in spanish. i really love to draw and sometimes i even make short little tunes.
  
  because school is starting up soon and i've quite a hefty load of classes, at the very least i'll be able to get out a response or two during the week. i am also strictly a 3rd person, past-tense, and literate roleplayer and i'd prefer a partner that is the same. while i typically roleplay males, i also can do nonbinary and female characters, especially if there is a cast of character we're working with. I can do any type of pairing as well, although I do prefer queer relationships.
  
  i love roleplays that are character driven, but i'm also a sucker for a good plot/plot-driven roleplay. i definitely prefer to have some type of romance subplot, but that's not required. i can go either way when it comes to plotting a good portion of things in advance or just seeing where the roleplay goes with a set scenario and relying on periodic plotting when things slow down. however, i do thoroughly enjoy ooc chatter about the characters, their dynamics, and everything else.

  here are some plot ideas i have but we by no means have to use. they're all pretty malleable with how we approach them. so, let me know if any of them pique your interest. otherwise, i'm willing to hear any plot or pairing ideas you might have!
  
  
  —from nothing to nowhere
  apocalypse, post apocalyptic, dystopia, angst, survival
  
  its 2045, 35 years since humans made the world near uninhabitable with missiles and nuclear weapons. however, the people that survived gradually began rebuilding. societies called "precincts" have popped up all over north america, each one assigned a number. they ally, fight, and trade with one another.
  
  —panic switch
  high school, mystery, investigation, amateur detectives, (optional) sci-fi, (optional) paranormal
  
  it's the 1988 and high school sophomore cindy fischer has gone missing. members of the mci club take it upon themselves to investigate her disappearance. that's their job after all. what do you think mci stands for? (mysterious circumstance investigation)
  
  —bad citizen
  dystopia, crime, conspiracy, (optional) cyberpunk
  
  unruly friends become some infamous but minor fiends of a dystopia. they often find themselves in and escaping difficult situations together which only seems to strengthen their bond. the thrill and adrenaline is addictive until things go awry after an unsuccessful venture.

  slice of life, romance
  
  insomnia plagues a quarter of the population at some point every year. two people have the same idea to try and combat it: take a walk. in the dead of night a friendship (or maybe something more?) is born.
  
  —the good, the bad, and the ugly
  western, romance
  
  its the late 1800s and the wild west is booming. the talk around a small town is about a mysterious foreigner that showed up out of the blue and frequents the saloon. after hitting it off with the foreigner, the hospitable bartender offers them a place to stay for the time being.
  
  —starlight brigade
  adventure, exploration, sci-fi, space, aliens, androids
  
  welcome to the future where the highway of the universe is space. a ragtag group of space nomads and their shitty space ship will, for the right amount price, pick up any and all jobs.

  i will not do erp. do not ask me to. it's against site rules anyway. also, keep that top/bottom, seme/uke, and a/b/o shit FAR away from me.

  like i said in my about, i am strictly a 3rd person, past-tense, and literate (500+ words) roleplayer. if you're not, we probably won't be a good match.

  just to reiterate, i will not do any fandom roleplays with canon characters. original characters only please! i also really love to see diverse characters, so keep that in mind.

  right now, i'm only looking to roleplay on site. whether or not we do that in the forums or through pms can be discussed. we can take ooc discussion and the like to discord, but that also isn't necessary. i'm flexible!
