(No one is perfect, have a flaw for each skill and don't make them edgy anti-socials unable to converse or be emotionally stable as the champions are chosen not only for their battle skills but as a ambassador of your clan.)

(The Dragon king has lived and ruled for over one hundred years, at some point during this 100 year span your clan was banished from the Drawinn kingdom and countries, they crossed the seas to Slate, the next closest kingdom being Dunwel which is occupied by the first born son of the dragon king. Meaning you are wanted criminals in the cities of Slate

Just to reiterate the clans move about individually but keep in contact with other nomads from Drawinn. Your character wouldn't be named champion if they weren't living with the clan long enough to prove themselves)

Name: Yahno Naza

age: 27
Appearance:
Black hair with a brown eye, the right eye bandaged as it was cut out years ago. 5ft9 with a lean muscular body. A expressive face at times but usually stoic.

gear:
A dagger, a short sword, seven chakrams (sharp rings for throwing)
Armour made of leather bones and fur from the various beasts that roam Slate

Simple clothes, essentials like food and water.
Able to open a warp gate to a hidden cache of supplies.

mana: Teleportation.
The Naza clan are able to teleport themselves and other objects/beings At will or by opening portals known as warp gates. To teleport oneself is easy for a Naza but to open gates is what makes them talented.
Teleportation is useful in combat but hard to utilise offensively as it requires throwing small portals designed to teleport chunks of a enemy away, while Yahno is capable of this he prefers to teleport himself and attack by opening gates for his weapons to enter.

skills:
Yahno is a talented thief, even without the Naza clan mana the man is sneaky quick and lightfooted.
Master of the Naza style, put simply a martial art style only the Naza and natural born teleporters can hope to learn. It involves precision and quick reflexes to fight while moving about instantaneously.
Stringed instruments, the man can jam.
Magic, while considered a master of his own mana Yahno is also decently educated on the topic of runes.
(Runes being glowing crystals of different colour to indicate what mana it is made of.)

flaws:
One eye, can't see out the right eye as it was lost in a fight.
Over indulgent, be it food drink drugs women or violence Yahno is the first to arrive and last to leave.
Ego/cocky/rude, it sort of comes naturally when your able to avoid 99% of everything if you so choose.

The Naza were banished from Drawinn with the Shrouda making those two clans the first to defect from the Dragon kingdom. That was over eighty years ago but Yahno's parents heard stories of the horror and pain inflicted by the dragons. When Yahno was a boy he was raised as a Nomad, fortunately he did not have his clans notable white hair as it was lost over generations. What the Naza boy lacked in resemblance to his ancestors he made up with in spades with talent, even at a young age Yahno was capable of creating gates and teleportation by touch. As the boy got older he was forced to become more serious, at age twenty he lost a duel and a eye to the Naza leader. After a year of roaming alone Yahno returned to his clan ready to study and learn proper. It was only recent Yahno was named a champion, his skill well known before hand but the time has come to attack Drawinn and a Naza with black hair is a perfect candidate for infiltration.
